“The soul can only stand on the ground it has prepared for itself.”
Spiritual death gives birth to the most erroneous and perverse ideas of extracorporeal existence. Many believe in a universal merging into a higher consciousness or a “higher self.” Some look forward to entering the light or immediately gaining admission to heaven. Others seriously expect a paradise with feasts and drinking parties or virgins at their service. In Far Eastern religions, the belief in reincarnation is widespread, with an endless number of earthly rebirths followed by entry into nirvana or moksha. In some religious communities, one even becomes an animal again. And so there are a multitude of other misguided and absurd ideas about the afterlife.
Many people believe that the afterlife is such that it cannot be described. However, most do not believe in life after death. They say that it is impossible to know, because “no one has ever come back!” For them, no one has indeed ever come back. For those who sincerely seek an answer, they have. The following texts aim to counteract all the misconceptions about the afterlife and to describe the conditions there as truthfully as possible.
First, we will clarify the concept of “entering the light” described in many reports of the afterlife, which has become widely known to the public due to so-called near-death experiences: With few exceptions, only people with good intentions and spiritual openness have concrete memories of their afterlife. Since consciousness is still bound to the body in the near-death state, they see their sphere of light as if from a distance – the ‘light at the end of a tunnel’. Depending on their spiritual alertness, the memories stored in their souls are revealed to them. They usually feel as if their earthly life is passing them
by in a matter of seconds. But in reality, they experience an immediate overall impression of soul-specific imprints, including their true effects. The brighter the light of the heart, the clearer the understanding of all past and present events. Some are allowed to ‘see further’; they have contact with deceased persons or angels. This is primarily the case with loving and kind-hearted people.
It is extremely rare for very materialistic or evil-minded people to remember their experiences in the beyond after reawakening – and if they do, it is only in isolated sequences and nightmarishly. This is in the nature of things, for their sphere is dark and devoid of any clarity and vitality. If they had clear memories and reported on their bleak experiences, we would probably live a more spiritually oriented and loving existence.
(NB: Light in the beyond is naturally understood to be spiritual; it reveals spiritual conditions in a spiritual world. In the heavenly worlds, it is the spiritual sun that unites all life in love at its core and enlightens it with wisdom.)

Interactions and connections This world – the hereafter
“Where is the beyond actually?” many people ask themselves. “Are there places somewhere in the universe where the souls of the deceased are located? Is the beyond even tied to a specific location?”
In the course of cosmic evolution, all kinds of mental ‘imaginations’ and the most diverse interpretations of life and death gave rise to separate spaces of consciousness. These relative spheres form the time- and space-bound and thus changeable foundation of this-worldly and otherworldly existence, which is inhabited by their believers before and after leaving the body.
Since the current process of creation involves a development from material to spiritual existence, there is a consciousness-related interaction and attraction between matter and spirit, between this world and the beyond. For this reason, all life that has not been reborn in the spirit of God is initially found in, on, and above the stars, planets, and their satellites previously inhabited, and remains there for a short or longer period of time, depending on the intensity of the soul-material entanglement. The fact that the beyond of the citizens of the universe is for the time being mostly located in their respective world spheres is therefore due to their individual attachment to their previous incarnation.
Only when a soul has detached itself from all the impurities and dependencies of its planetary abode, or rather, has redeemed everything belonging to it from there and taken it back into itself, does it leave its vicinity and ascend to lighter spheres which, depending on the degree of its love, are constantly closer to the origin and center of the spiritual cosmos: Heaven. However, this only has a local destination as the common dwelling place of blissful spirits. Since heavenly consciousness is omnipresent, a person reborn in spirit, , is always in heaven, no matter where they are, because they carry it within themselves. Divine life is therefore present everywhere, since it acts above or outside all boundaries and separations and is not bound to relative worlds. To the awakened soul, creation appears as a light-filled, most living, truest reality into which it is now born.
The heart of God is the source of love that forms and nourishes heaven. This life-giving center exerts a strong attraction on all created existence, both in the material and spiritual cosmos. Every human being is connected to this source in their heart and is enlivened and nourished by it according to their devotion. Only here can the longing of every created life be truly and eternally satisfied.

While my body sits comfortably in the chair, I exist as a consciousness independent of it. In this way, I kneel before Jesus. His love touches me deeply—he reaches out his hand to me and a heartfelt embrace transports me into the spiritual world.
In love with God, leaving the body is a fearless and natural entry into the afterlife. Death can only spread its terror through identification with matter; it binds the soul to time and transience. On the one hand, this creates fear of death; on the other, it prevents the free transition to the afterlife.
When a person awakens, their spiritual consciousness turns inward and their attachment to the outer world dissolves. Death is then nothing more than a natural departure from the body, without feeling the dying process – a loss of consciousness at the moment of death is not necessarily required. One simply passes through the door of the heart into one’s spiritual sphere. By entering the beyond within oneself, one also moves outward, for consciousness always forms from the inside out – as does all life. The logical understanding of this supernatural event is closed to the mind bound to matter. Since these are purely spiritual processes, they can only be understood with the spirit of the heart. Hidden within it lies the proof of the insight into the nature of life and death presented here.
* * *
Time and again, we read or hear that souls temporarily leave their physical dwelling places: yogis step out of their bodies, spiritually advanced individuals report astral travel; some people testify that they suddenly found themselves next to or above their bodies in a special or precarious situation.
From my own experience, I can say that this is entirely possible. During limited out-of-body experiences, all bodily functions remain intact; feelings of happiness, fear, or sadness experienced by the soul in the spiritual worlds generate energetic waves that can be perceived by those present on this side. When a person lingers in the afterlife, their life force is still present in the body, and an “energy band” keeps it alive. Even souls whose bodies are artificially kept alive or revived remain bound to them, even though they are in their otherworldly spheres. Only when they finally depart is the connection severed—the soul enters and exits through its heart into its self-created sphere, which is one and the same. Since it leaves the body permanently, the body can now decay, and in the course of this process, the soul will reclaim its earthbound parts.
(NB: At this point, one could speak of the different functions of the etheric and astral bodies. Without practical insight, however, one can only penetrate the corresponding areas theoretically, which merely enables abstract contemplation. Spiritual conditions reveal themselves truthfully and comprehensively to the loving child of God at the right time anyway.)
It is of enormous importance to understand oneself as a soul being already in physical existence. If one thinks and acts in accordance with this insight, spiritual death loses its influence and physical death loses its terror. If one lives in love with Jesus Christ, leaving the body even becomes a day of joy. We humans are basically nothing more than immortal, divine self-awareness enveloped in matter for a short period of time. This is not a theoretical statement, but a revelation from experience in the spirit of God.

Conditions in the Hereafter
and the sad fate of souls decayed by matter and devoid of love
First, for a better understanding: although the deceased reside in their sphere worlds, they continue to perceive the earthly environment in which they find themselves due to their material attachments in one way or another. There is a constant intertwining of this world and the beyond.
In practical terms, this looks like this: a deceased soul wanders through its lightless and barren beyond in search of nourishment or contact. The dependencies and desires it has brought with it bind it to the corresponding earthly places. These can be their former home, the dwelling place of a loved one, but also of a hated person, or the whereabouts of earthly citizens with similar behaviors and desires. Depending on their condition, they connect passively, instinctively, or actively and deliberately with images in this world that correspond to their desires. In this way, they subliminally participate in worldly events and are at the same time prisoners of their godless sphere.
* * *
When a person dies, the spiritual state they have created during their earthly existence forms their dwelling place in the beyond. In the beyond, they create their environment entirely from themselves, whereas in their material incarnations, stars and planets are given to them as existential foundations on which the most diverse worlds of consciousness constantly intertwine.
As with God, love is also the creative power in humans that determines their existence in terms of content and scope. In this world, devotion and helpfulness do not necessarily create a corresponding environment, but even in unfortunate circumstances, the loving soul does not lose its heart-spiritual connection – in its sphere, it always resonates with the love of God, through which the imperfect world is visible to it in divine light. This quality of life, which has already become its own on earth, leads to an existence of unimaginable beauty, everlasting peace, and boundless bliss in the hereafter.
If one has not awakened one’s heart spirit in the slightest during one’s stay on earth, one is spiritually dead. After death, the soul is left with only the impressions of its egoistic incarnation activities, which now form its spherical environment. It is not uncommon for it to lead a miserable existence there, for these landscapes are usually not very attractive – in the spiritual realms, only love provides light and beauty. Since the soul’s condition forms its afterlife, it does not have the opportunity to change location, for ‘over there’ there is only consciousness-related advancement (spiritual progress). As long as it is attached to its wrongful desires, the quality of its surroundings does not change.
Due to the laws of nature, like attracts like, and matching fields of consciousness unite to form spiritual spheres with the same orientation. Therefore, the deceased soon come into contact with their peers and repeatedly experience their own unloving and wrong behavior.
Spirits in need of help regularly enter the dark spheres. This circumstance enables the selfish inhabitants to show merciful charity, which in fact leads to an improvement in their neglected condition and to the illumination of their world. This gives them a clearer insight into their miserable state, which intensifies their desire for truth and goodness. This desire opens the way to the light for them, which takes shape according to their longing for pure love. However, in the case of severely darkened individuals, it often takes centuries, even millennia, to break through the concrete of their souls. An army of spirits assists in this process. Their greatest strengths are patience and divine mercy.
* * *
If someone clings desperately to their worldly status, earthly possessions, and physical desires, their death throes are often pitiful—the person fights with all their might against leaving their body, which becomes a desperate struggle for apparent survival. They arrive on the other side blind and miserable. In this state, they wander in unconsciousness in search of nourishment and light. However, they do not seek spiritual goods, but continue to long for their former possessions and earthly pleasures. They have an arduous path ahead of them until they can rid themselves of their earthly imprints and attachments – if they want to become free at all, because wrong desires and loves are the real problem on the path to freedom.
The nature of the beyond is therefore not determined by external forces; it is man himself who, with and in his misguided and strayed love, robs himself of his divine identity or gifts himself with it in true love. God is truly no judge. He provides his creatures with the space for all ways of life and death, so that in their free will all possible states of consciousness-to- ity can be fulfilled, whether they are far from God (lightless) or close to God (filled with light). There can be no greater freedom.

As the tree falls in this world, so it remains in the next
In its sphere beyond, the soul is actually everything that surrounds it. It cannot easily leave its ignorance and perversity, since it sees and knows only its imagined state, both within itself and outside itself. It is denied realistic insights into its deceptive cosmos and true perspectives from it – self-knowledge is thus impossible.
Often, only through lengthy phases of purification (quasi detoxification) can a gradual weakening of the passions and dependencies generated on earth, which constantly resonate with the spherical environment, take place, so that consciousness gradually increases in light and love.
Not so in the body. What the earthly spirit has given, it must take back. Therefore, it is much easier to cast off and overcome spiritual deficiencies in this life than in the hereafter.
If a person who has fallen into sin lives in the light of this knowledge, he uses all his powers to free his soul from ungodly inclinations and wrong attitudes in the love of God already in his earthly existence. His imperfections are and remain the property of the earthly world. That is why it is of enormous importance to work on oneself and to hand over the reins of one’s life to the spirit of love and truthfulness. Then, after leaving the body, the path to the heavenly home will be quick.
* * *
As already explained in detail, both the state of consciousness and the actions resulting from it are responsible for the content and nature of the spheres beyond.
(NB: Since we only exist superficially in this world, as soul-beings we are basically constantly in the spiritual world, so in a planetary incarnation we naturally also carry a world beyond in and around us, which we perceive through various circumstances in life, which we usually refer to as fate and coincidence.)
In the realms beyond, however, the impressions and behaviors brought along not only create the landscape, but also various beings become visible as testimonial images of delusional desires, held in their appearances by the soul of lost love. Truly grotesque displays and excesses are revealed to the viewer here. The perverse depictions of purgatory and hell spring from such visions of the beyond. However, these are only visible analogies of mental states and processes, not realities.
The inhabitants of such fallen soul worlds usually do not perceive their hardships and torments as such. They only know themselves in this way—for their delusional consciousness, it is their normal state, which is why they find their behavior justified. Only upon awakening does their mental illness become apparent to them.
* * *
The actual states of mind and sensitivities of a person can only be felt and seen in the divine light. From the perspective of this world, this view allows the awakened observer to quietly perceive a person’s psychological constitution, even to the point of clearly understanding their sphere, i.e., their soul. In the spiritual world, the state of the soul is formally apparent, for it forms the essential shape and, naturally, se also the corresponding environment. If a person is already so awakened in earthly life that they live in both worlds, they can also see a person’s state in their otherworldly pictorial revelation, if necessary. However, a spiritually dead soul does not perceive itself in the beyond in its analogous distortion, because it does not see its real nature. If one draws its attention to its neglect, it will mock it or walk away in anger. In its blindness, it does not see itself in the manifestation of its disturbance of consciousness, but in its imagined appearance. This is also usually the case in this world.
* * *
Before God, only the motive behind a good deed counts. The extent of the assistance provided is irrelevant. Even the world’s greatest benefactors, who are “generous and charitable” (perhaps for tax or other selfish reasons?) and put their surplus millions into so-called charities and aid projects, are quite small in the hereafter compared to a poor man who, in merciful love, shared his last piece of bread with a brother or sister.
What the world admires and applauds is often very small before God, and what the world ridicules and hardly notices is truly great before God. If someone is courteous and friendly to their fellow human beings and also has an engaging appearance, that person comes across as nice and likeable. But their form in the beyond may be dark or deformed, and their sphere cold and empty, if they acted out of hidden self-interest
or self-satisfaction. A selflessly loving person may dwell in an unattractive body and appear closed off or eccentric to the world, but their soul form and sphere are already filled with light and love in this life.
* * *
Pride cannot enter heaven; “it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.” It is not the rich and powerful, the well-known personalities from politics and business, the celebrities from acting and the visual arts, the stars from music and sports who hold a special position in the hereafter. They were only revered and admired on earth by the manipulated masses.
These high-ranking individuals find it difficult “over there” to let go of their status and put themselves at the service of charity. A rich and highly respected artist or business magnate will find it difficult to bow down to a beggar in order to serve him with all his strength. Someone who held high office and always moved in high society will find it difficult to descend from his throne and stand by his less fortunate neighbors with love and patience. But even the church and clergy, who like to appear in the garb of humility, rarely find entry into heavenly bliss in the hereafter, for the display of their faith was mostly built on the throne of power retention and self-promotion.
Truly, God’s heart beats above all for the weak and humiliated, and not for the rich and powerful who do not dirty their hands—except with the banknotes they cling to with all their might and the adulation with which they whitewash their black hearts. They have already received their reward.
The lovingly self-sacrificing nurses in nursing homes and hospitals; the unsightly laborer who, although often ridiculed for his low intelligence, does not refuse his fellow human beings his heart; the always helpful neighbor whom no one else notices; the large, destitute family living in a shack and yet not embittered by envy—these are examples of true heroes for whom God has prepared a place in his heart. But heaven does not necessarily require poverty or difficult living conditions. Even a wealthy person who warmly supports his needy brothers and sisters has already built a world of light and love for himself in the hereafter during his earthly existence. Only the condition of the heart opens or closes the door to returning home to the Father’s house.

The otherworldly kingdom of children Areas of responsibility in the afterlife
There is probably nothing worse for parents than when their child suffers and dies. Understandably, mothers and fathers try everything possible to keep their child alive. Even organ transplants are understandable from the parents’ point of view, given the apparent finality of a fatal separation. The situation looks very different when viewed from a spiritual perspective. The souls of children taken from the earth are warmly welcomed in the afterlife and lovingly nursed back to health. (These children’s homes are filled with an incomparable liveliness. The innocence and purity of the children’s eyes touch my heart deeply.)
Afterwards, they are introduced to the divine way of life in the love training centers according to their individual talents. Their further growth will now lead them steadily closer to the Father until he finally appears himself. He gently reveals himself to his children – to some purely in spirit, to others also in person. Now they have reached their destiny.
As young adults, they then enter a wide variety of professions. Some return to Earth as guardian spirits to assist children and young people in their earthly adolescence with their distinctive spiritual powers and, if possible, to protect them from the worst. Some accompany a person for a few years—some for a lifetime. Others welcome those arriving in the afterlife ( ); they are helpfully engaged in ensuring that those who have strayed from the right path find their way in their spheres and do not lose themselves even more deeply in their errors. Still others visit worlds that have reached maturity as divine messengers and bring the good news of the accessible Father God in Jesus Christ. Some arrange and organize the natural realms of planets,
while others who are more advanced guide the paths of celestial bodies in the material and spiritual cosmos according to God’s will.
And so there are many activities in the great beyond that are carried out by both those who departed early and those who departed late. Since the activities correspond entirely to their predispositions, they perform their respective tasks with complete devotion and great bliss.
In view of such a wonderful existence in the beyond, it is perhaps easier for parents to release their child who is doomed to physical death and lovingly prepare them for the journey to their true home, instead of using every conceivable means to artificially prolong their life. Yes, great joy fills the hearts of parents, knowing that their child will receive special care in the spirit realm so that it can safely reach its goal of creation. And one day, as a perfected spirit, it will joyfully welcome its parents at the gate to the beyond to show them the way to their Fatherland and guide them there.

Realities of the light-filled world beyond Heaven
Those who did not follow only their base instincts during their earthly existence and did not live solely for their own ends, but who nevertheless served the good life while remaining distant from true love of God, will sooner or later, depending on their condition, come to the infirmaries and training centers of the intermediate realm, where they will be cared for and taught, and from which the difficult work of making up for what they have missed will then begin (body).
Those who loved and lived the good and the true on earth progress more easily in the hereafter, as they bring with them the prerequisites for divine love to shine upon them. Guided by spirit guides, they advance rapidly, their surroundings becoming increasingly light-filled and paradisiacal. After overcoming any remaining shortcomings, they are prepared for a heavenly region corresponding to their capacity for love (soul).
Those who live on earth out of love for the Father and in accordance with His will are already in their spiritual home in body. They have, so to speak, taken a shortcut and walked the narrow but direct path that the world does not know. They await the transition with joy and are ready for it with their whole being. They do not experience death, but glide out of their bodies before they breathe their last breath. On the other side, Jesus leads them to their heavenly dwelling, where they are jubilantly welcomed by their brothers and sisters (spirit).
* * *
As described in detail above, the dwellings in the beyond are shaped by circumstances and are subject to the relativity of their inhabitants. There are as many worlds in the beyond as there are soul constitutions. When a soul awakens from its delusional dream in the beyond, it sees its world very differently than before. In the radiance of the divine light of love, it now sees the shortcomings of its form and its surroundings, that is, its misguided consciousness. In the distance, it sees the light that now illuminates its sphere and attracts it magnetically, as it were. Joyfully, it points this out to its fellow inhabitants. Some believe its words, awaken to them, and join in, while others prefer to remain in their familiar surroundings. There is no difference here from showing the way of God in this world.
Together they set off for brighter realms, meeting others who are also following this path. It becomes ever brighter within them, and they are already beautiful to behold. Soon they recognize the distant light as the sun of love, which now permeates them more and more. As they increasingly resemble the nature of the sun in this fulfillment, they can steadily approach it. Finally, they become inhabitants of the land that is warmed and illuminated by the spiritual sun. Depending on the power of their love, they enter into the blissful states and conditions that prevail there. The spirits who have found themselves completely in the Father’s love finally reach the gates of a city of light and love: the heavenly Jerusalem.
Here, unchanging and irrefutable reality is revealed. Here, every remaining projection dissolves, every idea is destroyed. Only in heaven does man finally leave the transitory and relative world of conditions and enter into the unchanging truthfulness of absolute being. Here, truth is revealed in the light of God’s all-encompassing love: Jesus Christ is the creator and sustainer of all life in eternity and infinity. He alone is the way, the truth, and the life.
* * *
Just as in the hereafter, the surroundings and dwelling are shaped according to the state of a soul, so too is it clothed in garments corresponding to its nature. These are formed, so to speak, from the love in its heart. Thus, unlike on earth, one does not have to search for suitable clothing and find colors and shapes that suit one’s type; it is put on as an image of the truth of love.
The more loving a spirit is, the more radiant its garment is. The inhabitants of heaven are truly magnificent to behold when they reveal themselves in their angelic splendor. However, they can only do this for people who either perceive ‘only’ the pictorial impression of heavenly splendor in a vision, or who, having themselves become light, are not harmed by the sight of these suns. A worldly person would be blinded and literally burned by the love-light radiation of these spirits.
In order to be able to show themselves everywhere, perfect beings are able to adapt to any sphere or to conceal their light form as needed. This is absolutely necessary, because otherwise they would not be able to enlighten those in need of help and lead them out of their shadow worlds.
* * *
Since progress in the spiritual world is only possible through love, the majority of those who have passed over must first learn how to move forward there. Many deceased individuals are initially unable to move forward (there is only spiritual progress), even if they do not feel this way in their traumatic, deluded state. As soon as they awaken from their delusion with the help of loving instruction from helpful spirits, their surroundings brighten. They are given a home that corresponds exactly to their inner life or manifests itself according to their spiritual awareness. As they mature further, their spheres become increasingly loving and harmonious, allowing them to move freely.
As in their worlds, they do this gradually at first. As they continue to draw closer to God, they notice that they can cover great distances in just a few steps. This is because they perceive their goal with more love in their hearts. The light of love gives them clarity about a person, an object, or a situation. Since, logically, insight and knowledge determine distance and separation in the spirit realm, a corresponding enlightenment instantly bridges any distance. The spirits are in the place of their desire in an instant, forming a light-filled and loving unity with their set goal.
(NB: The same applies to earthly understanding of a situation. If one understands a subject from the ground up, its content becomes clear and comprehensive; with sound knowledge, one becomes one with the subject matter.)
However, they do not yet realize that, as they are alive in the spirit of God, they are actually present everywhere and their consciousness can open up at any place in creation.
The spirits of the upper regions of heaven already share in God’s omnipresence. They overlook all realms of the material and spiritual world, since the divine vitality active in them is all-pervading and all-encompassing – in fact, since the will of God’s love, which is realized in them, is the formative, sustaining, and elementary foundation of creation. Their movement is basically an unrestricted presence. Only when accompanied by imperfect spirits do they adapt to their progress and appear to move in temporal and spatial dimensions.
* * *
Since I have seen and traversed many paths of existence in the course of my existence, from the lightest heights to the deepest abysses, a wide variety of spheres have become more or less the property of my soul. When my spirit opens them, I feel and see the corresponding states of mind, in which pictorial compositions
unfold and from which they emerge ( ). For in the hereafter, the formula applies: spiritual state = visible environment.
In hell
Here dwell disfigured creatures, trapped in their delusional creations of thought. They are slaves to hatred, envy, lust, greed, and violence; self-righteousness, pride, and arrogance keep these satanic qualities effective and constant. The misery of their loveless existence has already become normal for them on earth, and this falsehood finds its logical continuation here. They see themselves as illusions on the screen of death, which deceives them into believing they are alive. However, their pitiful condition is self-chosen—they do not desire change.
At intervals, the heavenly Father sends messengers into this darkness. When they draw the inhabitants of hell’s attention to their misery, they are usually laughed at and mocked, and if the opportunity arose, violence would be done to them. Here, too, there is hardly any difference between this world and the next.
“Dearest Father, in Your heart I see unceasing love and mercy for these beings. A single bright thought from them would attract You like a magnet, and You would once again plant the seed of Your love in these fallen ones. And You Yourself would be the most loving gardener of their soul soil, You would nurture and care for it and not leave them until You could take them into Your heart forever.
Just as you did with me, for once I too was an inhabitant of this hellish world. You touched me there and planted your seed in the soil of my soul. In your light of love, this seed sprouted, and now I stand before you, my God and Father, my beloved Jesus, as a child who has been found again!
In Heaven
As already explained, the beyond is a world of consciousness structured into many rooms: “In My Father’s house are many mansions.” The nature of a soul determines the content and size of its sphere of influence, determines its appearance, and its cohabitants also correspond to its constitution and orientation. The more loving a soul is, the lighter, i.e., the more insightful its spherical dwelling place is. However, this remains relative until it enters the sphere of divine reality.
Heaven is the greatest possible reality of created existence. Here, all relativity ceases to exist; everything is truth—in itself, within itself, and from itself. The bliss of the inhabitants of heaven is indescribable. They see creation from the smallest to the greatest with the eyes of God. The spirit of love, the principle of will and life of the Godhead, has become their property. Their blissful destiny and fulfillment is to penetrate ever deeper into the very being of their heavenly Father, in and from this, for all eternity.
The highest or innermost heaven of love is inhabited by the bride souls of Jesus. From the deepest valley of fallen creation, they have ascended to the highest possible summit of the spiritual world: the heart of God. In their love for him, their hearts have entered into his heart. In this “place,” infinitely far from all time and transience—and yet closer than anything else—they will dwell in their Father’s house forever.

Explanations of soul beings and spirit beings:
Souls and spirits are otherworldly beings, whereby the spiritual identity behind an earthly human being is also referred to as a soul (he or she is a good soul).
We usually refer to deceased souls as spirits. This can be done if one knows who or what is meant. When used correctly, soul refers to a being that is not (yet) filled with the spirit of God—spirit refers to souls that are filled with the spirit of God.

In conclusion
It is actually impossible to comprehend the afterlife with the mind. From the states and circumstances presented here from different perspectives, one can draw an approximate picture of conditions in the afterlife. However, the spiritual world only becomes truly apparent in the light of our heavenly Father’s love. Only in this can humans find the key to a living understanding of the (apparent) reality of the material creation and to a clear insight into the nature of all spiritual spheres from hell to heaven.
