‘The teaching itself must vindicate the truth. Whoever in future does not live according to the word will die in the judgment of that same word which was spoken to him and which he had not believed or trusted!
‘For just as I, of Myself, from the Father, have the power to give eternal life to, or take it from, everyone who is capable through his will, My word can do exactly the same; for My word is always equally the almighty expression of My will, enduring for all eternity!
‘Whoever therefore receives My word fully within himself and acts and lives according to it without deviation thereby receives Me Myself with all My love, wisdom, power and strength, and has thereby become a true child of God, from whom the Father in heaven will withhold not one thing that He has!
‘The holy Father can do no more than reveal Himself bodily in Me, His Son, beget the freest gods from you creatures under judgment, and consequently call you His friends and brothers!
‘Always consider who it is that now reveals this to you, and what you receive with this revelation, and the material world will no longer assail you, and you will easily become victors over it. This is all the more necessary because, without having completely overcome the world within yourselves, you cannot become children of the Father in heaven!
‘But through this I also do not wish to make people who hang their heads and curse the world, but only wise users of it!
‘Would one not have to call a person a fool if he fell so deeply in love with some useful tool needed for practicing his art that he would not use it at all for its intended purpose, but merely stared at it lustfully and kept it in a shrine so that it would not rust and thereby become less beautiful and thus detract from his vain, empty pleasure?
‘The world too is a tool for you, with which, when properly used for its purpose, you can create an exceedingly great deal that is good and glorious! But now, as My disciples, you must use this tool as I, your only truest Master, have taught you over two and a half days.
‘Used and applied in this way, this tool will prepare and secure eternal life for you. But if you use it otherwise, this tool will be like an exceedingly sharp knife in the hands of immature children, who will only too easily and quickly inflict a fatal wound on themselves with it, which scarcely any physician will still be able to heal!
‘With these words also receive My full blessing, and communicate these words to all those who could not hear them now, so that at the end of things no one can excuse himself on grounds of ignorance!
‘And now, you My few disciples and all of you who have followed Me here from Galilee and Jerusalem, make yourselves ready for the journey, namely to Galilee, where you may again give your care to cultivating your fields.’
After this instruction I rise and give the angels still waiting a sign that only they understand, upon which they all vanish except Jonael’s. The visibly open gates of the heavens also close, but Irhael and Joram’s house remains with all its furnishings from the heavens, as does Jairuth’s mansion. All those present and awake accompany us to the house gate. But the colonel insists, and he accompanied Me to the boundary of the city’s jurisdiction; from there he returns to Sychar.
