“In every human being, God is a prisoner of death.”

Through the worship of matter, man has dragged his divine traits into the mud. In order to assert his lust for power and possessiveness, he has mutated into a ruthless and unscrupulous machine of exploitation. With the blood of countless victims of racial and ethnic cleansing, cruel wars, lies, and deceit, they have created political, economic, and religious structures that despise all true life, permeated by greed and megalomania, maintained through terror, corruption, and manipulation.

We are born into this world and from birth we are injected with its ‘normality and immutability’. In this delusion, we have become violent and consumerist puppets with almost exclusively materialistic lives, in which the purpose of true humanity has long been lost. Those who do not conform are either ridiculed as oddballs or immediately declared crazy, or assigned to the elite circle of detached saints, which is supposedly inaccessible to ‘mere mortals’.

Thus we die daily in our spiritual abysses and think we are living. We call our activities movement, but it is stagnation. Yes, we defend our unspeakable actions with all means in order to continue to burden our existence with the painful weight of transience. We use all our energy to lead our immortal soul with its mortal shell to certain death.

But soon our heavenly Father will cleanse this earthly world of all evil and wretched misery and shower it with the everlasting love of his heart, so that the Garden of Eden may blossom again in all its glory and bear delicious fruit to feed created life in the face of eternal truth.

Humanity sits in a cage with the door open, clinging to the bars out of fear of freedom. Yet all it needs to do is let go of its self-imposed prison, and then its spiritual wings could unfold. Free as a bird, it would fly toward the heavens to breathe in the love of God once more in the wonderful lightness of life. But if you enlightened people about their imprisonment, they would laugh at you or insult you, because you would be questioning their apparent basis of existence. If they allowed themselves to be touched by the truth, their “glorious” past, their imagined present, and the future they envisioned would be exposed as illusions and fade into worthlessness and meaninglessness. For this reason, people flee from the truth; they prefer to cloak it in mysticism and mystery and walk around it meaningfully at a safe distance. Escaping reality not only prevents us from spreading our wings and flying out of the cage, it also prevents us from opening our eyes, which is necessary in order to see where we actually are and who we really are.

In order to enable humanity to return to its divine destiny, God has provided it with the tree of knowledge. Since it uses its fruits to create and maintain a system greedy for power and money, they have lost all divine blessing—they are poisoned and bring suffering and death. Thus, humanity gropes more or less blindly through the times . Far from the truth, it speculates and theorizes its way through the labyrinth of vain worldly understanding, without knowing that it has lost its way. Ultimately, a correction will be necessary so that love, light, and life may return to the hearts of the lost children of this creation. However, every person can turn away from all earthly illusions and surrender themselves to God, whereupon the tree of knowledge will offer them blessed fruits. These fruits revive his lost heart, enabling him to see. He leaves the train controlled by worldly understanding, which is heading for an abyss through the misuse of divine gifts, and soon finds himself on the path of salvation, truth, and eternal life. He has spared himself blind searching and research through endless periods of time in the maze of transience and death.

Every human being has been given his own free will for his greatest possible freedom. On the one hand, this gives him the opportunity to move on all conceivable levels of consciousness; on the other hand, in this spiritual independence, he can decide for or against a life in love with God with every thought, every word, and every deed.

If one spends one’s existence without love for God, the unknown fate becomes a worrisome companion. One no longer knows the true meaning and purpose of one’s existence, which is why one seeks and loses oneself in external satisfactions. The strict hand of “higher power” wields the instrument of guilt and atonement. Illness, suffering, and death are the earlier or later companions and become an indispensable normality. If you live your life in love with God, you step out of spiritual darkness step by step. You experience true knowledge of life and death, of good and evil. One sees through the apparent arbitrariness of fate, sees through the cause and effect of all events. This view increasingly ignites the fire of longing for truth and goodness; in love for the heavenly Father, this longing finally finds its fulfillment. True to his way of life, man is seized and permeated by the divine spirit—until it becomes his natural element of life.

* * *

If one leads a life of material prosperity or even wealth, perhaps enjoying a certain status of recognition or reverence in public, one is considered successful according to generally accepted views and values. From a spiritual point of view, however, the opposite is true. A life of abundance and complacency prevents the serious pursuit of a God-inspired life. One is content with material security, in which one has no need for God. If there is to be a God, then please let him be unapproachable, so that one is not disturbed in one’s sensuality and comfort; “… because he might have something else in mind for me and take me away from my comfortable existence.” (Which happens sooner or later anyway with illness and death). At best, one alternatively makes use of a spirituality that flatters the ego and, in nonsensical tolerance and misunderstood freedom of belief, allows everything that serves physical and spiritual satisfaction.

If one is not so well off financially, the purpose of life usually consists of monthly balancing acts in order to be able to pay the rent, finance the car, enjoy a few leisure activities, and perhaps save up for a few days’ vacation. That is necessary and good in and of itself. But under the constant media bombardment of earthly desires, one always looks at those who have more; one revels in the rich and famous and wishes for such a “carefree, happy, and successful life.” There is no room for God—longing and desire seek fulfillment primarily in the material world.

If one spends one’s faithless existence in low-income circumstances or poverty, one’s desires are also mainly of a financial nature. In the inevitable comparison with the surrounding world of prosperity, desire is understandably focused primarily on material goods. A God-fearing existence in simplicity and frugality is mostly perceived as a disadvantage or punishment.

(NB: However, there are an increasing number of hard-working citizens and pensioners who are being driven into poverty by the incompetence of the governing authorities and the greed of landlords. They are victims of capitalism and have become resigned to social injustice. A sincere turn to Jesus Christ could open doors that have been closed to them until now and restore their confidence and joy in life.

Thus, almost without exception, the purpose of life for all people is of a transient nature. Power, money, possessions, pleasure, and entertainment of all kinds have become global objects of desire. Seeking one’s true home and lasting fulfillment in the spiritual world and, above all, in the love of God has no place in the daily struggle for survival or in the intoxication of external sensual gratification and selfish complacency. This does not mean that one should abstain from the comforts of this world under all circumstances. However, spiritual freedom from them is necessary in order not to drown in the insatiable passions and desires of fallen humanity. Love for God must be above all desires.

When a person is filled with the spirit of God, the riches of this world are no longer important to them. They have surrendered their life to their heavenly Father, who now guides them through this earth and cares for the well-being of His child in all matters.

The separation of spirits

The majority of the earth’s population considers the living soul to be a figment of the imagination, because it cannot be proven. If you talk to a worldly person about the reality of the hereafter, they will smile pityingly at you, “… because you can’t know that!” They push transience and death far away from themselves – if you confront them with their own, they become angry. The state of the world, with all its spiritual cruelty and wars, is often met with the response, “It’s always been that way!”

For the general public, the existence of God, if it is considered at all, is a rather unlikely possibility, and love for God is completely incomprehensible to them. Even most members of denominational church institutions have only a blind, obedient faith without spiritual substance. True believers who surrender their lives to the heavenly Father are universally labeled fanatics and warned of the danger of spiritual aberration. But it is those who cannot profess a divine reality that conditions eternal life who are mentally ill.

A small portion of humanity recognizes that material existence is not everything and opens their hearts to spiritual and religious content. These seekers carry within them a strong longing for love and genuine vitality. Their sincere desire keeps the door to their true home open for them anytime, anywhere.

Thus, opinions are divided. Over the next few years, this divide will continue to grow. The slaves of the world will become even more preoccupied with material desires. More will be demanded of religiously oriented people in terms of sacrifice and devotion. The path will become narrower and will compel people to make a decision that is valid before God. The indulgence in self-satisfied esotericism and self-centered spirituality must and will disappear, and truthfulness will take its place. The confession of Jesus Christ and love for him is the foundation of true faith; it alone provides security in the coming storms of the end times.

While running through the woods and fields, I encountered a horse walking leisurely along. The rider had a smartphone in his hand, which he was typing away at diligently. The animal apparently knew the way, because its passenger was concentrating on the device and did not look up once.

Otherwise, you see this “distracted” way of getting around in many pedestrians and drivers, even cyclists— but I had never seen a typing rider before. This strange image became a symbol for me of how much humans have stepped out of their present moment. Without external aids that provide self-affirmation, satisfaction of their new greed, and intense elements of excitement, the degenerate soul is no longer able to experience and develop itself in a lively way, which is why multimedia communication has penetrated all areas of our existence. The craving for uninterrupted reflection in and from artificially created worlds is spreading like an epidemic, affecting the younger generation in particular.

The awakened reveal the interactivity of the soul worlds in global digital networking: a wide variety of processes that take place in the otherworldly spheres are clothed in matter in the material universe, i.e., they are accomplished on this side by means of science and technology. Thus, the otherworldly interconnection of souls and spiritual interaction in the forms of expression of smartphones and computers, with all the networks of an “advanced” civilization, can be used for earthly processes.

As the spiritual world increasingly inclines toward Earth, or rather, as the ‘partition’ between this world and the beyond becomes increasingly thin, the material correspondences will become even more apparent in the coming years – more and more spiritual realities are manifesting themselves in analogous inventions in this world. Their unrestricted creative power allows humanity to achieve technical innovations on a scale previously considered impossible.

Since humans have lost their divine existence, which encompasses the entire cosmos, they must explore the world outside themselves. They have become explorers and conquerors not only of their earthly world, but also feel a strong urge to venture into space, perhaps to encounter intelligent life on distant planets. This is where the origin of incarnated star souls comes into play—their cosmic longing and thirst for knowledge

have become the driving force behind our space travel. But the love and affection of our brothers and sisters on distant planets and stars for us earthlings also draws our hearts like a magnet.

The first humans, as well as those born in the spirit of God in the course of time, were still completely attuned to their soul world. They lived in the awareness that the outer world, in its true and imperishable reality, is located in the infinite cosmos of the human soul. Thus, they were able to travel spiritually on this earth, and even distant planets and stars were not foreign to them, since they were spiritually present there. (NB: In the true sense, one experiences the world only within oneself. It is only through material attachment that a relative external world of reference arises, but this does not correspond to reality. Outside of oneself, one sees the images, formatted as it were in the soul, of a spiritual world that is fundamentally incomprehensible because it is infinite. These spatially and temporally limited images are represented three-dimensionally in the respective realities. This creates a tangible projection that can be grasped by our sensory perception. This is the case with words as well as with all living beings.

In accordance with spiritual awakening, the pictorial manifestation gradually dissolves, whereupon the universal reality ‘behind’ it becomes visible. Actually: whereupon the divine reality contained in the spirit of God in the heart of man gradually reveals itself. However, external universal reality and inner heart reality not only correspond to each other, they are one and the same reality/truth.

What a reborn human being decrees of spiritual reality must happen in the outer, materially apparent world, which is why the plant and animal worlds obey him. Thus, the earth and everything on, in, and above it is subject to him—as was originally intended by God. This state has been realized again and again by individual children of God. For wise reasons, however, they always revealed their abilities only within a small circle and never to the ruling world of the intellect. For the general public, the life-giving word alone was and is the bearer of spiritual power.

In the escalation of end-time events, there will be an increasing number of earth dwellers who have been partially, and in some cases even completely, reborn in spirit in their aptitudes and talents. In the new age, they will act publicly in and from this state.

* * *

There are countless beings in the cosmos who develop under the most diverse conditions and circumstances and who have different tasks to fulfill: On this earth, the soul life (soul here means the consciousness of spirits who have fallen from divine perfection) that has first evaporated in godlessness and finally solidified into matter can be restored by traveling the evolutionary path through the mineral, plant, and animal kingdoms, which are constantly becoming freer.

When such a soul consciousness has passed through all the necessary stages of development up to the most highly developed animal species, its still divided parts are reunited and, depending on their nature, consolidate over a certain period of time into a human soul. If a suitable birth constellation is present, it can implant itself in a mother’s womb, where, in its embryonic state, the spirit of God is integrated into its heart. Human beings can and should give birth to this spirit in their love for their Father in Jesus Christ, if possible already during their earthly existence – although due to the general loss of God, this usually only happens in the further stages of development in the beyond. Then the circle of becoming closes, and the reborn soul enters its eternal home as a free spirit.

Then there are the people of the countless other planets and the innumerable star worlds of the universe who have emerged from their own peculiar spiritual evolutionary process. Many of them accomplish their existence in spiritual heights, yet they do not live without restrictions on their free will, since their consciousness is subject to a God-ordained way of life – in adaptation to the inhabited world. They dare to take the path of forgetfulness into the darkness of this earthly world, because they want to attain the free sonship of God here, which will immediately prepare a place for them in the dwelling place of our heavenly Father. As a result, a lengthy process of perfection through countless cycles of time in ascending incarnations

on ever more highly developed celestial bodies, in order to finally be able to breathe the atmosphere of heaven, is not necessary.

(NB: Immediate spiritual rebirth is only possible on this earth, because here the satanic forces work most strongly against the Spirit of God, whereby both good and evil can be exercised without limit. Here the spirit of Satan is bound – and here God took on human form and paved the direct way from death into His life for His fallen children.

And there are the spirits from the heavens who are here to fulfill a mission if necessary. Like the star souls, they too must first rediscover and release their divine spirit in the earthly struggle for life. Their task is to illuminate the world consciousness with the light of their hearts and to serve the earth’s population with all their strength and devotion.

Some inhabitants of heaven who have now taken on flesh have already walked this earth once since the creation of the first human beings about 6,000 years ago. Before that, there were probably also humanoid beings, but their souls were more animalistic in nature—they were not yet capable of receiving divine consciousness. It was only in and through Adam and Eve that the present human race was founded. This couple is truly the first parents of humanity created by God.

Fundamentally, however, there are no differences in the sonship of God. Whether a soul has ‘descended’ from the heavenly spheres or originates from a star, all created spirits originally come from God, follow different paths, and find themselves as perfect unity in God. A spiritual hierarchy therefore exists only in the form of time-bound relativity, whereby each created being performs a completely individual function in its designated creative destiny – and thus experiences its own unique bliss.

In the universal work of salvation, the order of love is such that the heavenly spirits are servants of the earth and all other souls, for that is what it is really all about. The host of spirits who fell with Satan through their loss of God, now apparently presenting themselves as the material universe, are to be liberated and redeemed in the course of eternity. And the most intense activity and effort for this takes place on this small planet called Earth – for with God, the smallest is always elevated to the greatest.

The characteristics and preferences of each individual inhabitant of Earth, as well as of entire peoples on this planet, are determined by the prevailing collective consciousness, but also by their prenatal origins. For souls that have already existed self-consciously on other celestial bodies, the religious and social conditions there are decisive, but so are the landscape and economic conditions.

Souls originating from planet Earth naturally also bring with them formative conditions for human existence that result from the characteristics of highly developed animal species.

The peculiarities brought with them from a wide variety of celestial bodies mix with the upbringing experienced on this Earth, the prevailing cultural and traditional influences, the level of education or opinion formation, the prevailing belief system, and the state of love. In addition, the soul parts passed on by the parents of the conceived soul (analogous nature, physical resemblance – these can also be given due to an identical cosmic or heavenly ancestry) as well as the genetic specifications of the family tree play a not insignificant role. The term genetics or genetic inheritance refers to bloodlines – these are ancestral lines determined by spiritual descent, which go back to the first humans.

It is therefore the interplay of prenatal characteristics and earthly influences that make up a personality – whereby the basic character traits and material preferences often have their roots in pre-human existence.

In the earthly population, which is spiritually blind, knowledge of the existence of cosmic peoples has been lost, so the mind does not take into account at all the basic spiritual nature that is brought into the body. However, once one is spiritually awakened, these circumstances become apparent; they give a deeper understanding of earthly circumstances and conditions. For more details, see “Descendants of Light.”

A brief history of the birth of humanity (based on the revelations of the Father through Jakob Lorber):

Humanity was born with the incorporation of the Spirit of God into the heart of the soul of the first created man, Adam. This spirit distinguishes us from animals and primitive humans, for it gives us free consciousness and thus enables us to become true children of God.

But the first created man did not yet recognize himself or the world. He was overcome by great loneliness and lostness, for he knew neither his origin nor his identity nor his destiny. Restless, he wandered around and could find nothing that could satisfy his vague longing. He was hungry and thirsty for both material and spiritual nourishment, but he did not know what these needs meant, nor did he know how to satisfy them.

Then God put Adam into a deep sleep and showed him the love in his heart, in which Adam recognized himself and the world with pleasure. But there was a danger that he could lose himself in self-love and thereby open the door once again to the satanic forces present in his soul, which had been taken from the earth.

God then took away his awakened self-love and manifested it as a separate consciousness, dependent on Adam, in the form of a beautiful, charming figure, full of grace, gentleness, and tenderness. And Adam took great pleasure in Eve, and there was light and joy in him, and thus also in Eve.

Subsequently, God revealed all life on this earth to the first human couple. He gave them a divine life in paradise, where they ruled over all animals, plants, and elements.

In order to enable Adam and Eve to produce offspring, so that the earth might become increasingly populated for the purpose of spiritual redemption, their Father showed them the possibility of procreation. However, in order to permanently strengthen their humility and submission to the divine will, he commanded them not to consummate their marriage until he gave them permission, otherwise they would be expelled from paradise and death would be the consequence.

However, their desire to taste the sensual fruit was greater than their obedience. Adam and Eve succumbed to the serpent’s temptation. They repeatedly indulged in unrestrained carnal lust – and ultimately lost their virginal perfection to mortality and the imperfection of temporal love. Their God-given spirit, which had made them rulers over the earth, withdrew. From then on, they were no longer allowed to enjoy the fruits of the tree of life (living, omnipresent knowledge); they had to feed on the fruits of the tree of knowledge (the path of temporal experience).

Over the course of the following generations, humanity divided into the peoples of the heights and depths. The inhabitants of the mountains found their way back to the true faith thanks to divine guidance. Due to their pure way of life, they knew neither illness nor other existential hardships. Love in and for God and service to their neighbors were their elixir of life. They consistently reached an age of several hundred years, their “death” usually being a conscious departure from the body.

The faithless peoples in the valleys closed their hearts completely to God. Diseases were born, death became a specter. Even then, there were cities ruled by power-driven rulers. The privileged and wealthy citizens lived solely for their pleasures, while the lower classes were kept in miserable slavery. However, due to social interaction with the valley dwellers, more and more inhabitants of the mountains moved down to the cities to participate in the debauched life of gluttony and whoredom. Over the generations, they too eventually lost their divine consciousness.

As a result of their ungodly lifestyle, the population in the valleys perished in a flood of gigantic proportions. Only Noah, who remained faithful to the love of the heavenly Father in the high regions of faith, was spared along with his family. He became the progenitor of a new race.

Today, the world is in a similar stage. Only a few people are truly faithful to God and live on the mountains of true faith – and remain there. Love for the heavenly Father corresponds to the saving ark. When the floodgates to darkness are opened and it drags all evil and falsehood into its abyss, only God’s heart will offer protection and salvation.

(NB on man and woman: Egocentric love as a negative, receptive principle represents both creation as a universal receptacle of divine life, but was also designed in a feminine essence from the first man Adam as the primordial mother Eve.

In the current phase of emancipation, the portrayal of women as self-love taken from men will meet with incomprehension and rejection by many. However, this is not an expression of opinion, but a purely objective view based on actual facts, which in no way devalues the female sex or enhances the male. He abused his God-given responsibility as a loving leader of the femininity entrusted to him for base purposes and became a despotic oppressor of the female sex. That could not end well. Now women are striving for power in order to put men in their place. But that, too, is not in accordance with the divine order.

Men and women are equal beings, but with different soul structures and therefore divergent life tasks – he as the giving heart, she as the receiving heart; but both form a perfect unity only in their love for God and, as a result, for each other. A heavenly marriage can only come about when both partners realize and unite in their God-given identities—and do not undermine their true destiny in a misguided pursuit of prestige, equality, and independence. More on this topic in the chapter “Sexuality.”
