One as a path through the ages
over millions upon millions of years,
framed in words of time and space,
subject to the laws
of transience and death,
feeding on the fruits
of the tree of knowledge.
The other in the homecoming,
into the infinity
of the divine heart,
free of space and time,
free of every law,
feeding on the fruits
of the tree of life.
The human being has the freedom
to choose.
