Heart Meditation with Children

In heart meditation we sit together, close our eyes—and become still. Then I lead the children into the land of imagination, or paradise.

We walk through colorful flower meadows; sunbeams glitter in the flowing little stream, butterflies and little bees flutter about, colorful birds chirp beautiful melodies; we pet all kinds of animals and tame beasts of prey and pass a sea in which dolphins swim and leap.

Not far away we see a small hill with several shade-giving trees and a bench. On the way there we meet more animals, all tame and willing to be petted, but also lovely fairies and radiant angels.

When we are on the hill, we sit on the bench. Sometimes Jesus is already sitting there; sometimes He joins us. My children sit on His lap and He tells and shows them how much He loves them and that they should never forget Him all their lives, for He is their heavenly Father.

We are drawn so deeply into what is happening that the supposed fantasy becomes more and more real. Everything becomes so real that we actually experience it—imagination becomes reality in love for Jesus.

In the book ‘Ein Crash …’ I describe how we go into the royal hall in heaven. This had not been prepared or thought out in advance. We were surprised that we were suddenly there. And then everything unfolded exactly as described. When we then found ourselves back in our bodies, we were completely filled with what had happened.

Anyone can do these meditations. If love for Jesus is in the hearts, what is happening can become reality. But for that one may also need a little practice and patience until one, so to speak, grows into the spiritual world.

The Heart Meditation of Jesus’ Little Flock

Our heavenly Father wants to make our hearts into a flame of love that burns for Him, and He wants it to be burning already. He is both the spark that ignites it and the power that makes this fire shine. He is the light and warmth in our hearts. He wants to make our hearts one heart within His heart.

The Father makes available to our community a spiritual space in which He dwells, in which He awaits us. The time for this is set at 20:00 each day, and anyone who wishes may enter. One does not always have uninterrupted time, of course, but it also works while traveling, at work, or during/alongside an activity. Simply think of Jesus in the heart, that is, send Him a loving thought; in this way one passes through the door and takes part. One can then be still and breathe love, or bring a concern before the Father, weep and/or rejoice, but above all find His will and security within it. Is that not wonderful!?

Of course this can always be done, and naturally a child of God always receives the grace of Jesus Christ when it is in true love for Him. But in this space at this time the Father gives us a special grace of His presence; you will see and feel it. This togetherness is a gift, for our heavenly Father actually wants to train disciples and apostles here for the coming time. We are called to serve Him as His disciples and apostles once served Him. This requires a special surrender and a particular training; it requires surrendering one’s own life in love for Jesus Christ. Only in the recognition of His heart and the love for us contained within it, in which we can find and unfold our love for Him, are we able to fulfill this calling of ours. Thus this bond becomes a blessing beyond compare, both individually and collectively.

Of course this time of grace is not reserved for us alone. We can pass the invitation on to our brothers and sisters whose hearts likewise long for our heavenly Father and wish to serve Him. For truly, no one is unworthy to meet God and serve Him.

According to our perseverance and surrender, the Father will fill us in such a way that we can communicate with one another in the space of His heart; that is, we actually meet in the spirit—as if we were physically embracing and speaking, yet as souls in the otherworldly space of our earthly existence.

One day all creation will be redeemed and spiritualized and all life will have entered into God. Then we will look back upon our existence, above all upon this earthly life, which represents the most dangerous and important period of our existence. In it we have the possibility of offering our life to Jesus Christ in such a way that in a short time we can become completely One with Him, in order to dwell in His house forever.

Let us dare this unique adventure; let us lay all our willpower at His feet; let us give Him our hearts anew each day. Let us be brothers and sisters in Him, for His joy and for our eternal bliss. May our Father fill our hearts ever more with His spirit of love, so that our souls burn with love for Him, so that our whole being enters into Him and He is our life.

Feel yourself for a moment as a soul within the body. Move through the whole body, feel the energy in its individual parts, feel into yourself all the way to the tips of your fingers and toes; feel your soul-heart. Do you sense the energy, the consciousness without a body; do you sense yourself as a soul-being? That is what you are in the beyond. A human being as you are now, yet without the material burden. What a relief, what a liberation!

And when one day we are permitted to leave this Earth, every earthly burden will fall away from us—if we persevere in faithfulness and patience to the end. Then Jesus Christ will take us by the hand and lead us home into our true eternal homeland, which is purely spiritual. Unimaginable bliss will fill us, for we will breathe divine light and divine love, the oxygen of heaven. There we will meet those who have gone before us, and all our hearts will be a divine unity in the love of Jesus Christ.

* * *

To begin by visualizing Jesus, no matter where or how, is a good entry into His actual presence. According to the degree of love, one’s own heart draws the heart of our heavenly Father like a magnet. This encounter is not equally fulfilling every time, but practice makes perfect. In time one finds one’s way into His heart more and more often, or rather increasingly recognizes the love of His heart. At the same time His word becomes steadily clearer; the divine impulses clothe themselves in expressive words true to their meaning. Love opens the words again to right understanding. Eventually Jesus’ presence becomes experienced reality; conversations with Him lead the soul into spiritual certainty and divine vitality.

Alongside this, the Father tests His child’s capacity for love and faithfulness in everyday life. This means a spiritual rising and falling until the divinity growing from the heart has been permanently integrated. Until now, accomplishing this was intended for only a few chosen ones. Now, in this special time of grace, transformation, and liberation, it can be accomplished by comparatively many children. They bring with them the prerequisites to unfold their divine talents in this earthly life far enough for the Father to employ them as workers in His vineyard. In them the return of Christ is already taking place now; they form His body.

Just as a body from head to foot consists of different body parts and organs with many different functions, so the body of Christ consists of different souls with all kinds of talents and different tasks. Forming a unity out of all these varied ‘soul-components’ is not an easy task. The parts must first find one another and must not repel one another. Different views and opinions, whether in material or spiritual matters, must initially take a back seat; in Jesus’ love that will sort itself out—one way or another.

It is therefore important that children of God in a community—and really in general—place love for Jesus before knowledge and wisdom and surrender themselves first and foremost to the love of our heavenly Father, which must form the foundation of every congregation, so that the body of Christ can be fully formed and preserved. This does not mean that utterly mistaken views must be tolerated; standing up for truth is also part of the Christian task, and the commandment of love of neighbor calls us to bring brothers and sisters who have gone astray back onto the right path.

Every human being who follows the call of Jesus’ love belongs to this body. In faithfulness and surrender he becomes a part of the body of Christ.
