Dear brothers and sisters,
what power does Satan have? Does he still have any power at all after Jesus Christ finally defeated him 2,000 years ago? See also Fratello’s book: Jesus – was sagen die Menschen wer Ich sei (Appendix).
Now, every human being has a certain share of satanic/antichristian traits laid within the soul, which he is to bring to redemption. At the same time these fallen soul-specific traits serve him as opposing forces, so that by overcoming/transforming them he may release the spirit of God in the heart of the soul. That is, to tear down the egocentric wall with the help of these resistances in God’s grace, so that He can penetrate the soul from within and fill it permanently—the spiritual rebirth.
Satan’s only possible influence lies in the parts of a human soul that belong to him—and only through these can he act upon the whole person and thus twist even the healthy parts into his diabolical nature. Through continual seduction he can bind selfish, addicted, lukewarm, and deluded people to himself and draw them ever deeper into satanic slavery.
The more such opposing forces are laid within a person, the weightier his earthly task, or God’s power within him. Naturally, the greater then is the danger of falling into the Luciferian forces raging stormily within him and/or acting quietly and cunningly. Many an Antichrist ruling in this time is a fallen angel who actually wanted to serve God in this phase of transformation and liberation. And of course there are incarnate demons who have only evil in mind, conscienceless servants of the devil.
When a person surrenders himself to the heavenly Father, powers of protection and help come into effect and support him in his inner struggles. The greater the surrender and love for Jesus Christ, the more quickly the soul is freed, because the satanic parts increasingly lose power until Satan finally has to give up the child of God, since he no longer has any possibility of seducing it and binding it to himself. But before it reaches that point, he has the right to act with all his power upon the person’s weak points. This is the greatest hurdle for every child of God—his Gethsemane.
Dear brothers and sisters, Jesus’ heart is wide open. We only have to enter it. Do not look to the left and right, from where the greedy arms of the fallen world reach into our soul in order to draw us off the straight path, bring us down, and poison us. With the steady gaze upon Jesus, trust and surrender grow, and Jesus’ life reveals itself more and more in our hearts.
Satan has only the power we give him. Jesus has only the power we give Him. We ourselves decide our fate. Life and death lie in our own hands. This is the free will that makes us free human beings; that makes us true children of God when we follow Jesus’ love.

There are people who directly worship Satan and his demons in corresponding masses and are favored by him in worldly ways. But these are not the Antichrists who determine present world events; those are selfish, power-driven people who follow an agenda of their own or of their family, prepared over several generations and now being rigorously implemented. They do not believe in a spiritual world, in life after death, in Satan, in God, but only in matter. They are spiritually blind and in this blindness want to enslave humanity or become rulers of the world. They want to secure health and immortality for themselves by material means. In the sense of absolute materialism, they indirectly worship the fallen spirit Lucifer hardened into matter.
Fundamentally, however, Satan uses these people in order to rule his earthly kingdom absolutely. To prevent every access to God, he wants to destroy the bridge to the Father, both collectively and individually.
Therefore he especially tries to make those who are already united with Jesus Christ fall away again, for they are the doors through which God enters this world. Thus we are in great danger if we turn away from Jesus, if we surrender ourselves to satanic traits: pride, envy, greed, anger, addictions of every kind, and so on. Worries and fears too are gateways for dark powers, which is why they are stirred up daily in the propaganda media. We must come into a state in which falsehoods and lies concerning the establishment of the antichristian world order no longer burden us. We can attain this only in love for Jesus Christ. At and in God’s heart we are protected and secure, ‘even if the world should fall into ruins.’

Dear brothers and sisters,
Satan/Antichrist is the spirit of destruction. On the surface he is concerned with power, yet in reality he wants to and will destroy. We too have within us this spirit which ultimately always brings about self-destruction, for all of us carry with and within us a certain share of satanic inheritance. This is necessary for several reasons: on the one hand, by returning inwardly to God’s heart we redeem satanic soul-substance into the light; on the other, negative traits serve us so that by overcoming them we may raise our souls into the divine, into the heavenly home.
Our frequent relapses fundamentally go back to this spirit of destruction/self-destruction. This is important to know so that we do not constantly reproach ourselves because of our failures.
For in view of this satanic circumstance, our heavenly Father regards us as children in need of help who drag a heavy burden that we cannot carry alone. Thus He does not condemn us even if we make the same mistakes a thousand times, but He knows our weaknesses and our painful striving. He looks upon His children only with merciful eyes, always ready to help.
But for this it is necessary that we accept His help. Yet precisely at this point we fail. Whenever it matters, we turn our consciousness toward the egocentric and fall into self-will, conditioning of the soul, and hardened habits—we fall even though Jesus stands by us/assists us and offers us the power of His heart.
This is the moment when the polarities of plus and minus meet; here the storm of opposites rages, this is our point of death and life, this is our Gethsemane—the place of redemption. To enter here and now into the Father’s will, as Jesus accomplished, while the satanic element dwelling within us is present, leads us into the freedom of the spirit. There are brief, somewhat easier everyday moments that want to be immediately (dis)solved in love, and heavy fundamental burdens that require days and nights of struggle.
That is the path we can and should walk; this is Jesus’ offer to us. Thus it is now possible and good to give up burdens we have carried around with us for a long time, to end addictions, and to bring about deep forgiveness—with Jesus’ loving will within us.
Dear brothers and sisters, this truly is not easy, for often our will is weakened by the constant ups and downs of our instability, and in it we often no longer trust even ourselves. But now the Father says:
‘My children, give Me your weak willing. I will place My power and strength into it and carry you through the storms of the soul and satanic forces, so that you may become ever freer of old bonds and attachments. I place a special blessing into this time; indeed, I almost press My presence upon My children. But it can happen only if you turn your hearts toward Me. Lay your hearts in My heart—and everything will be well.
Your heavenly Father Jesus Christ’

Dear brothers and sisters, today I heard words of Satan. He says:
‘I am condemned to destroy everything God has created, to annihilate all the good He does, to drag all love through the dirt. I am condemned to be unable to be happy, for my energy is darkness and hatred. In my hands everything becomes dust and ashes; cold and emptiness remain behind. I am dead—and if I try to live, I destroy every effort with my boundless self-will, pride, and arrogance. Then come wrath, destructive rage, and the need for revenge.
I am lost forever, for I never find a way out of myself, never find peace. Moments of light pass within me as ice melts in the sun—joy sinks into the mire of my pride and my unbridled lust for domination, which drives me and fills me with madness.
If my plans do not succeed, I fall into self-pity, from which cold rage and aggression against all life always arise. Thus I am tossed to and fro in my fated lostness and find no way out.’
Dear brothers and sisters, do we find something similar within ourselves? These are the fallen parts of our soul that repeatedly prevent us from moving forward, continually undo our striving, and discourage us. They bind us to matter and rob us of trust in God. For many it is a vicious circle from which there appears to be no escape.
Can we defeat these satanic destructive forces within us? No, that is not possible for us. What we can do is give Jesus Christ power within us over evil by entrusting our lives to Him, by loving Him in childlike humility. This is the only way to deprive the evil powers within us and around us, whether on this side or the other, of influence and dominion. It requires endurance and patience; it is a process, a preparatory process for spiritual rebirth. For as with the apostles long ago, the filling with the Holy Spirit takes place only after years of preparation. But then it will happen: Jesus will arise within us all at once and we will enter into the divine spirit of love and truth.
This is a true promise of our heavenly Father in Jesus Christ. Therefore let us be ready; let us empty our hearts of the trinkets of matter, of worry and fear, of the satanic traits that bring only death and misery upon us. And let us fill our hearts with love for Jesus Christ, so that divine life may move into our souls.
And then we will be able to act as apostles of Christ in this world, even before the final days of darkness and also in the coming Kingdom of Peace. Just as the apostles were sent out 2,000 years ago to bear witness to divine truth and divine love, to heal illness of body and soul through the Word and laying on of hands, to awaken death to life in human hearts, so Jesus will also send us to those who hunger and thirst for true love and divine life.
