We now set out, and the colonel, together with his healed wife and two of his foremost subordinate commanders, accompany Me. The colonel and his wife take Jonael between them, converse with him and ask him about various matters in the Jewish religion and what in it refers to Me. The man crippled with palsy who had been healed in the first little village takes the most attentive part in this conversation. But I walk among Jonael’s seven daughters and his wife. They too ask Me about many things that might shortly come upon the world, Jerusalem and Rome. And I give them kind answers and show them how the secret prince of the world will shortly be judged, and soon afterward everything belonging to his following. At the same time I also show them the end of the world and a general judgment like that in Noah’s time, and in deep amazement they ask Me when and how this will happen.
But I say to them, ‘My dear daughters, as it was in Noah’s time, so it will also be then. Love will diminish and grow completely cold. Faith in a pure teaching of life and knowledge of God revealed from the heavens to human beings will turn into the darkest dead superstition, full of lies and deceit. And those in power will again use people like animals and have them slaughtered utterly cold-bloodedly and most unscrupulously if they do not submit without any contradiction to the will of the most dazzling power! The powerful will afflict the poor with all kinds of oppression and persecute and suppress every freer spirit by every means. Through this a tribulation will come among people such as has never yet existed on earth! But then the days will be shortened for the sake of the many chosen ones who will be found among the poor; for if this did not happen, even the chosen ones could perish.
‘But from now until then a thousand years will yet pass, and not another thousand again! Then I shall send these same angels, just as you now see them here, among the poor people with great trumpets of summons. They will awaken the people of the earth who have been put to death in spirit, as though from the graves of their night. And as a pillar of fire rolls from one end of the world to the other, these many millions of awakened people will rush upon all the worldly powers, and no one will be able to offer them resistance anymore!
‘From then on the earth will become a paradise again, and I shall forever guide My children on the right path.
‘But after a thousand years have elapsed from then, the prince of night will once be free, for his own sake, for only a very short time of seven years and some months and days in temporal reckoning, either for his complete fall or for his possible return.
‘In the first case the earth will then be transformed in its innermost part into an eternal dungeon, but the outer earth will remain a paradise. In the second case the earth would be transformed into heaven, and the death of the flesh and of the soul would disappear forever! But how, and whether, this will happen—even the first angel of the heavens may not know in advance; the Father alone knows that. Yet what I have now revealed to you, tell no one until, after a couple of earthly years, you have heard that I have been lifted up from the earth!’
Then the daughters asked what such a lifting up would consist of.
But I say to them, ‘When you hear of it, your hearts will indeed grow very sad. But then comfort yourselves with this: afterward, after three days, I shall again be in your midst and Myself bring you the great confirmation of the new testament and the keys to My eternal kingdom! But see that I then find you as pure as you are now, otherwise you cannot become My brides forever!’ At this the daughters, together with their mother, promise Me to observe most exactly everything I have commanded and advised them.
