Jesus Christ:

“God is eternal love and truth itself!

Nothing in the world can set you free

except truth alone.

Whoever commits sin, which has always been a lie,

is also a servant of sin

and a slave of other, still greater sinners,

who have no conscience and no love

except for their own shameful self.

But whoever has truth within

is a mighty enemy of falsehood and is free;

for no one can convict him of a sin.

Therefore choose truth and do not fear those

who may indeed kill your body,

but can do nothing further to your soul.”

Dear brothers and sisters, as a called worker in the vineyard of the Lord and a proclaimer of the Father’s word, one is ascribed spiritual authority, and as a servant of God one indeed possesses it. Such recognition leads the brotherly and sisterly readership and audience to receive the given word trustingly, for it comes from the Father. As time goes on, a certain expectation can arise that challenges the one chosen by God to have to know everything and do justice to every question. Yet not even the angels can do that unless the Father places the answer in their hearts.

If the child of the Word absolutely wants to fulfill every expectation, it can happen gradually that he no longer examines himself sufficiently and begins to believe everything he thinks and says, even when the message comes from his own soul-based opinion or from a rigid conditioning by the spirit of the age, which rarely agrees with divine truth. In one’s own process of becoming, this can happen to anyone who communicates divine nourishment; it is therefore important and necessary to admit an error as well. This is a general statement and concerns no one in particular.

As a servant of God I am aware of the danger of error as well as hidden pride. The Father repeatedly draws my attention to it and directs my consciousness into humility: without Him I can do nothing, and everything I am permitted to give must be attributed to His grace. I have deeply internalized the sentence: “When you have done everything, then confess that you have been unprofitable servants.” In the depth of these words I find unspeakable freedom and blessedness, for they set me free from myself. In them there is no conceit; in them I am permitted to be nothing—and thereby the Father is everything in me. By truly accepting this sentence, I place myself within the grace of free childship of God.

This does not mean surrendering one’s responsibility; on the contrary: as a proclaimer of God’s word, one bears responsibility to lead, to the best of one’s knowledge and conscience, the brothers and sisters whom He has entrusted and who entrust themselves, into Jesus’ heart, without wanting to receive any reward for it, neither from God nor from fellow human beings, and not in order to beg love from people. Service is to take place solely in love for Jesus Christ and for the sake of selfless love. That is possible only when the heart of the servant of God is united and one with Jesus’ heart. Then divine love is the motive for serving. Only in this way does it work, and only in this way does the communicator remain in Christian truth; thus the danger of spiritual pride is not present.

Jesus placed in my heart the longing to be wholly absorbed into His heart. To serve humanity in Him and with Him, so that many souls may be saved, is my destiny and my blessedness, the meaning and purpose of my earthly existence and, beyond it, in eternity.

The Father has also entrusted me with the task of naming to Him those who have taken their own lives and placing them upon His heart, through which they experience grace and liberation. Please write to me if you have known such persons—giving their names. In addition, there is within me the power of intercession in distress of soul or body. You are welcome to tell me your concern; I then place it in Jesus’ heart. Contact information can be found at the end of the book.

May the Spirit of Jesus Christ penetrate our souls more and more and fill our hearts with truth, light, and divine love.

Samuel
