Hans Dienstknecht (1941–2026) was a German Christian writer and editor whose work was associated with Aus Liebe zu Gott—“Out of Love for God.” Alongside his own spiritual reflections, he shared messages that, according to his personal testimony, he received inwardly as words from God.
At the heart of these texts is trust in God’s unconditional love and his closeness to every person. They encourage a personal relationship with God and practical expressions of love for God and others in everyday life.
A particular emphasis is placed on “inner work”: looking honestly at ourselves, recognising our reactions, and gradually changing what stands in the way of loving others. Daily encounters, decisions, and difficulties are presented as opportunities to learn and grow inwardly.
