Give Your Longing Free Rein

Divine Revelation

Truly, you are My beloved sons and daughters, and I am your Father, who at the same time is Mother, Brother, and Friend to you. I am everything, and outside Me there is nothing.

Thus you too are from Me, and since My nature is love, you too are—love! You are love to a degree you cannot yet measure. My desire is that you learn to recognize your inner greatness, that you understand why you are here, and that you set out to make your inner being shine, so that the world may recognize that you are My disciples, men and women.

For this is why I came into the world: to bring love, which is carried as light into the darkness by those who followed and follow Me. I kindled the fire of love at a time when people needed this love as urgently as never before. And this fire, like a sweeping blaze, spread across the earth.

The forces of darkness had no possibility of smothering the fire of love. But they did not stand by idly either; and so they went about altering My teaching with extreme skill, in such small and apparently insignificant steps that people did not notice the changes and falsifications. In this way, slowly but surely over the many centuries, religions and ideologies arose that have little in common with what I taught. Outward forms and regulations of which I never spoke eventually became decisive, while the one true and important core of what I lived and taught—mutilated and often deprived of its true meaning almost beyond recognition—receded into the background.

Yet throughout all those years I never left My own alone. Even in the times you call the “Dark Middle Ages,” there were enough men and women who stood up and proclaimed My love.

This is what I desire: that you and many others whose hearts are open and who recognize Me become proclaimers of My love—without inner and outer attachments, without being exposed to the danger of manipulation, directed solely toward Me, who issue no prohibitions, invent no dogmas, and set no threats or punishments into the world, because I am infinite love.

This love has never been silent through the many centuries, and I will never be silent, whatever those may say who do not want the speaking Spirit. Who can prevent Me from raising My word to speak to My children?

You are in a phase in which the struggle darkness wages against light is intensifying and approaching its preliminary climax. Precisely in this time My own need Me more urgently than ever before. Therefore everywhere in the world I raise My voice, and those who have ears to hear will hear Me; they will hear and recognize Me in their hearts and—when and because their inner eyes open—will understand that I am entirely different from the image they have of Me because it was drilled into them for many years or distorted over many centuries.

I am infinite love! In this love there is no room for condemnation and judgment. Every child, whatever it does, rests equally near My heart. This love is unimaginable for you; that is why you have transferred your human ideas of justice onto Me. But I tell you once again: I am different.

Every one of My children can come to Me at any time. Close your eyes, turn inward—and you rest at My breast. There you will feel a sense of safety that the world cannot give you. Then within you understanding will grow of what selfless and unconditional love is, the love that from eternity and for eternity flows from My heart, sustains My creation, and also lives within you—from eternity and for eternity.

How could this love, which is also almighty power, ever lose a single one of its children?

You spoke about My love and the path to Me, and you recognized that I will draw all My children—and I emphasize a l l—back to My heart. But you also recognized that a decision and effort are required—sometimes certainly a certain exertion as well—to rest in Me again in such a way that I can guide you more easily through your life, that is, without your having to endure great blows of fate, distress, or suffering.

In this time I teach the way that leads back to My heart. After in past decades and centuries I let much enlightenment flow into the world because humanity had become, and is being kept, ignorant, now—beyond this enlightenment—come concrete instructions on how you can deal with the problems and difficulties of your life so that it becomes less strenuous and burdensome for you than in the past.

You spoke about the fact that longing is the motor that drives your effort. Because I live w i t h i n you, the longing for Me and for your true, eternal home also lies within you. This longing is like an anchor; through this longing I call you. I entice you.

I call into your heart: “Feel within yourself; give your inner feeling free rein. If necessary, let your tears flow freely as well, and try to reach the ground of your heart in order to discover there your longing, My longing. And then follow the thread of this longing and do not stop. Do not give up, even when the path is sometimes difficult and stony. Follow the thread that ends in My heart.”

With every step you take on your path, more and more energy of love flows to you; you become stronger and stronger. If you take only o n e step in your effort, I come m a n y steps toward you, for I am love; and My desire is to have you and you and you with Me again as quickly as possible. But because you have free will, which I accept under all circumstances, I must wait for your step.

If you hesitate, then ask yourself: “Why?” Are you afraid? Are you afraid you might lose something? That I would take something away from you? That I would entrust you with tasks too difficult for you?

My son, My daughter, once more: I am love, and I leave you absolute freedom. I take nothing from you, I do not restrict you, I do not confine you, I do not bind you. The only thing I need is your yes. With it you say yes to Me, to your goal, to your inner work.

Believe Me: in that moment strength upon strength flows to you. Certainly there are sections on this path that confront you with yourself in a way that is not always entirely pleasant, for you are a human being with faults and weaknesses. I see them even when you still do not see them for a long time—and I love you nevertheless.

When such stretches come, do not despair. Do not become sad, do not become afraid, for precisely then I am with you; and if necessary, I will carry you.

Nor need you fear that I would take away your joy in life. The path to Me may be somewhat arduous in places, but a sour person, a fanatic, will not be able to walk it. My children are to walk this path, which resembles an adventure, with joy in their hearts and with the certainty that they do not walk it alone. They may—indeed, should—now and then look back at what they have already accomplished with My help. This will encourage them, at the next stone on their path, to say full of gratitude: “Father, it has always been good. I look forward to the next stretch of the path with You because I feel that I am walking into freedom.”

Freedom is your inheritance, My child. I call you: “Come into this freedom. Take possession of your inheritance.”

I stand before you, I spread My arms to receive you; for I long for you, My son, My daughter, because I love you. Amen.
