Walk the Way of Love

Meeting of February 9, 2008, in Würzburg

Divine Revelation

My beloved brothers and sisters, I am in your midst, and I look upon your group with joy and love. To each one of you flows My ray of love, which is pure divine energy and strengthens you inwardly and outwardly.

At this hour countless groups throughout the world are gathering and, like you, lifting their hearts to Me, to love. All of you have the same wish and the same longing: that there may be peace on earth. All of you have recognized Me as love, and all of you are in the process of freeing yourselves from what still holds you in your human nature.

When you speak of Me and My love, you know that this is a different love from what you mean when you speak of human affection. My love is beyond your fathoming, even though you feel it in your hearts; yet what you feel is only a reflection of what awaits you, though it already lives within you.

This love has the goal of bringing every one of its children home to its heart—without exception; and everything that happens in My will is directed toward this goal. If you now see where you stand today as human beings and see the goal that is to be reached, the way there may seem very long and very difficult. But I tell you, My beloved: it can be walked at My hand! Yes, it can be walked with joy, because every step taken with Me brings you more strength and more light; and with that the tasks to be mastered can become greater, because the love within you becomes greater.

But—and I want to emphasize this especially—the way to My heart means work in the rightly understood sense. It means the effort I call inner work, without which no child finds its way back to My heart; for none of My children will develop back into the light by itself, because this requires the flowing of My power of love, which is set in motion by your own free decision, and which I accept whatever form that decision takes.

The way there, back to My heart, certainly includes stretches that not only seem difficult but are difficult for you as human beings. It is a path that—as you human beings would say—cannot simply be taken “with the left hand,” as though it were effortless. And therefore My words must often also be borne by My earnestness; but you know that even in the greatest earnestness love is contained.

This earnestness is meant to move you to reflect on yourselves, to look into your conduct and into your soul. At all times I have raised My divine word and given My children instruction upon instruction. This has happened with particular intensity in recent years, as each one of you knows. Humanity has much to catch up on when it comes to divine truths and wisdom. But no one has to remain ignorant or do without My divine instruction.

For you who know Me, however, there comes a time when—beyond instruction—the matter is now seriously to put into practice what you have learned. It does not help you to continue wanting to learn still more details about life beyond or about ever more beautiful descriptions of My mercy. The only thing that matters is to live what you have recognized as truth.

I know that each one of you does this to a greater or lesser degree, for otherwise, My beloved, you would not be here.

But with My words I want to strengthen your longing for a life with Me, a life that can and will take on a very different form from what you have known in the past. If you wish, we will go through your days closely connected with one another. There will be nothing you cannot and will not discuss with Me, and nothing to which I will not give you an answer directly or indirectly. There will no longer be anything lying like a shadow over your life, making you restless, uncertain, or afraid in any way. You will feel what it means to be a son or daughter of heaven. And there will no longer be any question for you that again and again you will give your yes to helping in this great work of redemption.

In this serious time I radiate My love toward you with greater intensity. This is necessary because the efforts of the opposing side to turn everything into chaos are also intensifying. With your prayers you help to avert and mitigate much. But do not forget that besides prayer it is also necessary for you to grow more and more into your radiant divine nature; to become an example, so that at the right moments you can make the right decisions. It is then not merely a matter of speaking a right prayer; through what you do, a signal is set: Here stands a son, here stands a daughter of God who loves Me, Jesus Christ, above all else.

That asks much of you, My friends. It is not easy—especially not in the coming time—to stand up and profess Me; and this is also what I want to direct your attention to: beyond your good thoughts and beyond your prayers, what matters is increasingly to permeate the shadows within you with light.

If you do not yet know your shadows, then come to Me and ask Me to show them to you. What do you think will happen? If your desire comes from an honest heart, the joy of heaven is great, and help upon help will be given to you so that in the points you have recognized you may change and be transformed into a radiant child of God.

I place these serious words in your heart as a request. Many of your brothers and sisters will need you when things become serious. Many will need guides through the chaos that will come. And who are those guides to be? Your worldly leaders, who share responsibility for the confusion that is arising and already exists? No. They will be those who strive to live the law of love, who will give support to those who question and seek, and who will not merely point in a direction but will go ahead of their brothers and sisters.

Who, My friends, should this be if not those who love Me?

If you feel into My words, then amid all their earnestness you will sense My infinitely great love for you and for all My creatures. And this love, I repeat, wants only one thing: to draw every child back to its heart.

If your love is great enough to help in this mission, then speak your yes within yourselves, join the company of My messengers of light, and in daily life be what you have been from eternity—love. Amen.

Divine Revelation

At My heart, My beloved sons and daughters, your head rested, and at My heart it will remain until you have reached the goal of your life and of all your development, the goal you have been given to strive for through all your sorrow and pain, and everything has been fulfilled in your eternal home.

Truly, My heart is great, for it embraces everything your eyes are able to see and, beyond that, all that your human eyes are unable to behold. And truly, this is far more still than the human eye is capable of grasping.

My beloved, you have spoken about the fact that you are here on this earth for a special reason: because in the realms beyond you made it your task to be light and love, to give light and love, and thereby to show people the path capable of helping them out of all distress, all sorrow, pain, and illness.

But you also spoke about what must be done, what is required in order to be able to show people this path. Can a teacher convey to his students material that he himself has not acquired on his own path and during his own development?

See, this is what you are called to do; and the Spirit of your Father reminds you again and again: Walk the way of love. Walk it seriously and consistently so that love can unfold within you. And then all people you meet will be able, with their spiritual antennae, to perceive what spirit you belong to. They will recognize that something flows from you that so many others lack: warmth of heart, mercy, love, justice, peace, compassion. But, My beloved, can this happen as long as you merely move all these things back and forth with your intellect? I tell you: Never!

For what you wish to give must be contained in the bowl of your life! What do you intend to give your brothers and sisters if your bowl is empty? What food will you offer them if your bowl is empty? What drink will you give those who thirst for truth, for love, and for realization of their Father in heaven, if there is nothing, or only little, in the bowl from which you intend to draw?

Again and again you speak of the time in which you live, and I ask you: Do you too recognize that the time is serious? Do you recognize the signs of the times? I, your Father, tell you: Make haste, for it is love, which I am, that longs for all that has been created, longs for all that has fallen, longs for everything that has turned away from Me, that has been seized by the whirlpool of distance from God, hurled into the depths, and there ekes out a miserable existence.

Just as you long for Me, My beloved, so also long for those who are with you in the depths, and whom—as you made it your task—you promised to help bring home with you, back to the eternal home, back to My heart.

And if you feel: Yes, Father, I want to make haste; I want to fill my vessel with what pleases You and with what my brothers and sisters need, what they hunger and thirst for—then come to Me. I will fulfill your request; I will show you what you still lack and what human things you must still remove from this bowl so that what is eternal and divine may find room within it.

Come to Me, speak with Me, reveal yourselves to Me; I know you, and none of My children can hide from Me.

So walk the path you have been given to walk, the path of which I speak again and again: put one foot before the other, for on this path you cannot rush anything, skip anything, or leave anything out. Everything human will have to be erased and replaced by what shines eternally and what has been placed in your soul for eternity as My inheritance.

My beloved, even if My word sometimes sounds stern, recognize within it the longing and love of your Father, which are beyond your grasp. I long for you, and precisely for this reason I also remind you: do not hesitate or delay, for the way to My heart is a beautiful way, a joyful way. Every step you take toward Me I will reward with a hundred steps as I hurry toward you.

Is it not wonderful for you to know this? That this one step—your effort—is enough for Me to come a hundred steps toward you? To embrace you with My arms, press you to My heart, and give you infinitely much in return?

Go forth, and let each one take with him on his path what today has fallen deeply into his heart. My love shines upon it; My light will cause the seed in your heart to unfold. And if you sincerely strive, with perseverance and joy, to take one step after another, you will feel how your inner being changes from day to day. And not only that, My beloved: what changes inwardly will also bring forth outwardly what corresponds to it.

So take heart, for I, your Lord and God, am at your side, and you are never alone. My peace is with you and within you, and My light shines for you in time and eternity. Amen.
