Go Through Your Days Praying, Blessing, and Helping

Divine Revelation

My beloved brothers and sisters, do not be surprised that I speak to you right at the beginning of your meeting. But I want to bring something to your awareness, namely that you call your circle a prayer circle. And on this occasion I also want to reveal something to you about prayer, its importance, and its effect.

The power of a prayer, whether spoken alone or in a group, cannot be valued highly enough; yet as a rule My human children do not recognize, or greatly underestimate, the possibilities prayer offers.

If My children knew what a “weapon” they hold in their hands—in the positive sense—with a prayer spoken from the heart, they would sit down more often and enter into silence. For every prayer—every sincere prayer—changes the world.

What is a sincerely spoken prayer? It presupposes that the heart of the one praying is with Me. It does not presuppose the use of beautifully formulated words; indeed, it does not even presuppose that it be put into words at all—with the exception of when several people come together and then unite their power of love in prayer.

To pray rightly means being aware that, as a child of God, one has the possibility of sending out energy of love, and knowing that this energy of love is an invaluable help to many of your brothers and sisters. Words merely spoken with the lips do not reach My heart. All ceremonies and rites, all processions, costumes, and organized acts of prayer are likewise unnecessary. All these are outward things. They are packaging that can not only be dispensed with but that in many cases gives the false impression of containing something special.

But I lead My own deeper and deeper into the awareness that they are spirit, and that it is spirit that changes this world, acting from the subtle realm into matter.

When you pray, you pour out from your hearts your trust, the experiences you have had with Me, your love, your peace, your harmony. These are qualities you carry within yourselves as My sons and daughters, which I placed within you as divine powers because you are part of creation, endowed with creative powers.

And therefore your prayer should not be merely a request. Through your prayers, your inner feelings and thoughts of the heart, you are to take part in a change toward what is good. That, My beloved, is creative prayer. In this way you send to your neighbor your life-sustaining and strengthening energy and Mine, and within him you affirm the ability and the gift to develop strength, settle a dispute, find his way into silence, pause, turn back, and much more. You strengthen his soul, his spiritual immune system, and then from within your energy of love acts upon the human being.

Never ask when a change or an improvement will take place. Do not fixate on a result. Pray, open your heart, give away your love, and bless. Do this in the knowledge that I, your almighty Father, accompany every prayer and add My share and My blessing to it, in keeping with the fact that the law serves the one who serves the law.

This is how I desire My children to pray; and if you do not succeed at this from one day to the next, then practice, and you will notice how an inner freedom builds within you, how you are filled with peace, how—figuratively speaking—you straighten up and begin to be light in this world.

This, My beloved, is what I wanted to tell you beforehand, before you begin to do what your prayer circle has come together to do: to pray for personal or general concerns in this world. Amen.

Divine Revelation (in response to a prayer)

Well spoken, My son. Is this not the prayer of which I spoke? Yet this too requires practice, and the days have been given to you for this.

You feel, My beloved sons and daughters, beloved children, that the love of heaven is among you. It touches each individual and enfolds all of you in its life-giving light. Heaven bends down toward earth to give every creature some of the life-giving divine elixir that comforts and encourages, raises up and heals. I, love, am especially among those who gather around Me and, with receptive hearts opened wide, surrender themselves to My divine presence and radiation.

Torn within the field of tension between spirit and matter that belongs to this world, so many of My children eke out their meager lives during their journey through the worlds. How is it with you, My beloved? Do you see yourselves reflected in this statement of Mine? Or can you already stand upright and clear within yourselves and say:

“Father, through Your instruction and guidance, through the power of Your love working within me, and through my continual effort, I have changed from a person turned toward this world and surrendered to its enticements into a conscious child of God at Your hand, who lives in this world but is no longer of this world and instead strives toward the high goal of his journey”?

Then it has become light within you and around you. Many of your problems and difficulties, your sorrows, worries, and needs have receded and made room for a daily life shaped essentially by the harmony and peace, the sense of safety and quiet joy that come from Me. They enable you to master the tasks and challenges life sets before you with serenity and trust, with wisdom and love, because I am the Source from which you have learned to draw.

You go through your days blessing, praying, and helping; you feel yourselves more and more one with all that surrounds you and thus with Me; you leave behind a luminous trail of heavenly light that shines through your eyes, your world of thoughts, indeed your whole being, and everywhere gives itself to those who hunger and thirst for it.

See, in this way you follow My command to follow Me, to recognize and fulfill your divine mission; for the way and the mission are one.

Truly, each one of you—if he wishes—will receive enlightenment and be given the strength to learn to distinguish the polar planes of being—spirit and matter—and to examine what his inner antennae are still predominantly directed toward.

Examine yourselves wisely—especially those among My children who allow My word to become a refined spiritual ritual or a contemplative habit, without deriving from it the call to act that is connected with it and without assuming the responsibility that grows from it.

Recognize, O human being, the part of your existence that belongs to eternity, and also the part devoted to transience; and remember that knowledge of your last hour remains hidden from you.

Understand that with My teaching of love I have placed in the hands of each individual the key to healing for soul and human being, not only for yourselves but equally for your brothers and sisters and, beyond them, for nature and the earth.

A serious word, My beloved, but appropriate to the seriousness of your time.

It is My will and desire that much of what now appears as a bitter harvest for My own may still be dissolved or mitigated through the pure, loving heart and goodwill of My messengers of light.

I need you; your brothers and sisters need you as well, they are waiting for you; nature needs you and pleads with you. Whoever does My will walks in My light and sows the good seed, whose precious fruits many are still to enjoy and delight in.

I am your Father, eternally self-giving love that neither demands nor sets conditions, yet whose laws govern infinity and that strives for each one of you. But into the freedom of your will, My sons and daughters, My children, I do not intervene, as you know, for you are My free, beloved creatures. Amen.
