Your Sincere Effort Is Enough for Me

Divine Revelation

Truly, truly, My faithful ones, this is a serious time. It is the most serious time humanity has ever faced. The forces of darkness have gathered their strength, and everything is moving toward the point of the great confrontation. It is a confrontation announced by many of My prophets, and one that I will allow so that the chaff may be separated from the wheat and My children may come to realization.

Yet however much the forces of darkness may strive to concentrate their strength and bring about chaos in every area, they will succeed only to a certain degree, and they will not be able to prevent new life from rising out of the ashes. They will therefore not carry away the victory, for the light will prevail.

All of you—and countless of your brothers and sisters—long ago took your place on the side of the light and joined the great host of messengers from heaven, at whose head I, Jesus Christ, stand.

All of you knew what you were undertaking. You saw the distress of your fellow human beings, and from your selfless love grew the desire to descend to this earth and be bearers of My light. Each one of you stood before My throne, and upon each I laid My hand and filled you with My strength and My boundless love.

In this light of love your task seemed easy to you, and none of you doubted that you would be victorious. You knew about the difficulties and pitfalls, yet at the same time you recognized yourselves as powerful sons and daughters of My love. Who or what can harm such radiant sons and daughters of heaven?

And so, accompanied by many of your spiritual brothers and sisters, you entered the material world and stepped into the land of forgetting. You had been instructed beforehand; you had been prepared for this moment. Yet no one who has not entered the domain of the forces of darkness can imagine how greatly divine consciousness can be restricted in matter. And it has been restricted; indeed, it had to be restricted, because otherwise you could not live here in your heavenly perfection.

Then you were confronted with everything the material world has to offer, and through your senses countless impulses streamed toward you and into you and shaped your consciousness, your subconscious, and your soul. Your voluntary promise lies indelibly within you, but the opposing side has tried and continues to try to dim the light of this holy promise so that you regard yourselves as children of this world.

And, My faithful ones, if you are completely honest with yourselves, you must admit that now and then the darkness has already succeeded in this endeavor.

But the light of your promise cannot be extinguished. I have fanned it into flame, I have radiated My love into it, and you have become aware of who you are. You have become aware that you went as sheep among wolves—sheep, however, who stand under My protection because they represent love. From that moment on, My beloved brothers and sisters, there began what I call “inner work.”

You began to question many things, including yourselves; your eyes were opened, and you began—at least in part—to see. And then? Then came, and continues to come, the decision to become a conscious and willing fighter for the light on this earth, one who sees through the machinations of the forces of darkness and stands against them with the weapons of love and wisdom.

I Myself entered the material world, and I was subject to the same laws as you. That is why I know how difficult it is to preserve love for the heavenly Father. The challenges and temptations are too great for you not to fall from time to time; and yet: greater still is the light of My love within you!

All of you stand at the point I have just described. I want to give you courage, and I will give you courage again and again so that, when you stumble or fall, you keep going; so that you remember that it is My hand that waits for you, outstretched. For continuing on, or getting back up, is itself your effort. Only when you give up does it become threatening for you. But as long as you make an honest effort from the heart, you are protected by My love.

I have often said that a sincere effort on your part is enough for Me. How could it not be enough? Can a human being truly do more than make an effort? And even if, My beloved, your efforts in this life do not always show the results you hoped for or desired, do not be sad. For every effort enters your soul-body, and you take with you into the world beyond every exertion you have undertaken for My sake. There it will be a foundation upon which you can build.

So do not lose heart if not all your efforts bear visible fruit. I see your love, and I am with you, making you strong and reminding you again and again that you are not alone; that out of love for Me and for your fellow human beings you have taken this path, which truly is not an easy one.

I sink this comfort, this promise, deep into your hearts. I remain forever with you and within you—I, the love of the Father. Amen.

Divine Revelation

For see, for Me, the Christ who is among you and whose friends you are, time is not the same as it is for you human beings. Two thousand years ago, your historical record tells you, was My time.

Measured in years, it was truly only a short span during which I walked this earth; and measured against the possibilities you have today, it was scarcely possible to reach so many people and bring to so many the love that descended from the heavens. And yet, see, My friends, how long My message—the message I brought to this world as Jesus—has endured.

Do you think this would have been the case if it had been only an outward message? Oh no. It was the light of heaven that had taken birth and dwelt among human beings for a time. And the essence of this message, which was the love of heaven, has endured through the millennia of human history. See how great, powerful, and victorious it was. Even though the forces of darkness left nothing—and I say truly, nothing—untried in order to destroy My teaching, alter it, and use it for their own aims, at its core it has nevertheless remained the message of the Father’s love.

And so I tell you, My friends: if all the many people around this earth, in every country and continent, become aware in their hearts of God’s love and of the task that arises from it for them, how much more easily and how much more quickly will the victory of love be accomplished on this earth!

I tell you: even if it often seems difficult to you, and however much and however often you find yourselves in conflict with yourselves, it is nevertheless through you that I will overcome the forces of darkness, transform them, and lead them home again.

Take heart; build on Me; trust in Me. Give Me what your human self still wants, so that My will, My wisdom, My earnestness, and the love of the Father may be able to work through you at all times and in all places, on all your paths. I, Christ, the eternal heavenly light within each one of you, do not leave you. How could I? For in the depths of your heart I have My dwelling place. Amen.

Divine Revelation

If you, My beloved children, believe in Me and trust My word, then you also trust that I keep My promises. This song you have just sung [“I wrap you in love”] is My promise to you.

Be certain: the moment you opened your hearts, I wrapped you in My light. If you could already see, you would look in astonishment and disbelief at the glorious light surrounding each one of you. This light is My protection; in this light you find a sense of being sheltered. Even when you go back outside afterward, this light remains within you, with you, around you—invisible, but present. It is the radiance of your soul, which I have strengthened.

When the work of the day comes upon you, it may happen that the radiance of your soul diminishes here and there. Do you know what you do then—what you should do? Come to Me, remember, and ask Me—with the same fervor with which you have just sung—to wrap you in love. In that same moment this radiant divine light is again around you in its fullness.

You are My sons and daughters, and it is fitting that you live in this light of love. Amen.
