If you wish to reach the highest
- Provenance
- Samuel Surazal
If you wish to reach the highest
of all goals,
you must, ultimately,
banish every worldly joy
from yourself,
so that it does not mingle
with joy in God.
Only freed from the world can the soul
be born into God.
One cannot serve two masters.
