Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, as Jesus of Nazareth I spoke to people in simple language. It was the language of the heart, the language of love. If I had expressed Myself like the scribes and Pharisees, the intellectuals of that time, My listeners would not have understood Me; at least not in the way required for what is heard and experienced to give rise to an insight that comes from the heart and takes hold of the whole human being in his thinking, speaking, and acting.
They were men and women from among the people who were willing to listen to Me. And not only were they willing: They longed for the truth, they felt the love that understands all and forgives all which I radiated, and the words from My mouth fell like drops of water into the soil of their thirsty souls. Many among them had consciously decided to incarnate in that time. They did so for different reasons—for example, to help Me with the great task of bringing love into the world, or to make use of the opportunity to take a decisive step in the development of their souls.
And so many, many people—without being conscious of it—were waiting to receive spiritual nourishment from Me that would help them gain a better understanding of the countless unanswered questions of their existence, both in their personal dealings with one another and with regard to public life. This included above all instruction about right action and restraint, which were still largely shaped by the laws of the Old Covenant and by what ignorance and misinterpretation had made of them. In many there was good will to behave differently than before, but consciousness of a life according to the laws of My divine love, which govern all creation, had not yet awakened.
So I began, among other things, to enlighten them by means of images and parables and to instruct them accordingly, thus leading them step by step toward My eternal truths. With the knowledge that exists in the world today—for example about subtle worlds, positive and negative energies, satanic influences from the invisible, the sophisticated attempts to distract and bind people through the possibilities of entertainment and technology, and much more—I would have overwhelmed them. I would even have frightened some away because all foundations for understanding deeper connections were lacking.
What I conveyed to them, and what is recorded fragmentarily and in part falsified in your Scripture, was first and foremost that I, as God and Creator, am also the Father of all My children; that I am selfless and unconditional love; but that evil also exists and approaches human beings in many ways in order to seduce them. In this connection I said that it is commanded to love even one’s enemies.
I used simple images, and therefore everyone could understand them and consider—if he was willing—who might be meant by “enemy” in the parable about love of enemies. Whoever was honest quickly found examples, both in his personal surroundings and with regard to the political situation shaped by the Roman occupation.
Something threatening, something that arouses your anger or strong opposition, that frightens, disturbs, or unsettles you, certainly confronts you in the form of a human being or through his intentions and deeds. But by now most of you know—not least through My explanations—that things are not as they appear at first glance; there is more behind them. I do not want to illuminate here the aspect of why something can anger or frighten you. That is a subject that has often been discussed and always has something to do with the person who feels the corresponding feelings and reactions within himself.
I direct your reflections in the following direction: Everything is energy, and like acts upon like. No one can think or even merely feel something without at the same moment entering into communication with forces of many kinds that vibrate in the same way, appearing either personally or impersonally as fields of energy. So, if you wish, he is only the executor or helper when it is a matter of moving him toward behavior that does not correspond to My commandment of love. Others provide the impulse for his actions, which is possible for them because they find corresponding conditions in his soul, in his character. By “others” are meant those who, as spiritual beings an infinitely long “time” ago, caused the Fall and since then have waged their struggle against Me.

If I ask you who your friends are, you will not need long to find an answer: They are the people in your near or more distant surroundings with whom you are familiar, with whom something connects you, whom you like and perhaps even love intimately.
The question of who your enemies are is not difficult to answer either. They are those who wish or intend nothing good for you and who can be found in your neighborhood, at your workplace, in various communities, or also in society and politics.
If you agree with this by and large, I must remind you that you have far more friends than those who came to mind. By this I mean your brothers and sisters in the spiritual realm, your guardian angel, the many helpers assigned to him and to you, and all those who accompany you from the world invisible to you. They act on behalf of love and, as true friends, strive selflessly to support you, but also to protect you from adversity and harassment as far as this is possible for them.
And in your “search” for friends, did you also think of Me, who became your brother in Jesus Christ, who dwells in you, and who is your life for all eternities? You cannot find a better friend, for there is none.
Let My words work within you for a moment …
If you have understood and believe My words, then the “small world” in which you live for a more or less long while is nothing compared with the non-material world that surrounds you and in which you have your friends, whom you will embrace when you enter the beyond again.
And your so-called enemies? They too are at home in the non-material world, which most of you know nothing about or do not believe in. I repeat because of its importance: Not only your friends live in the invisible realms around you; your enemies also dwell there, many of them for eons already. From there come the threats of which you are afraid. Through accomplices they become reality in your world. Or, as I expressed it recently: “What you experience is the implementation of a plan devised in hell, carried into matter, and executed on your earth.”
I know that some of you take offense at the fact that I repeatedly return to the way darkness proceeds. They would prefer Me to speak exclusively about love, about what is beautiful and positive. All of this is part of My being, and it also lies within you in an unsuspected greatness and diversity, My son, My daughter. My desire is that what I placed within you be opened up again. And I also know that this is the desire of many of My children.
But have you considered that negative forces stand against this, wanting to make it difficult or even impossible for your desire for freedom, light and spaciousness, for health, harmony, and nearness to Me to be fulfilled? Did I not say as Jesus that at night evil secretly sowed weeds in the freshly seeded field in order to damage the farmer’s wheat harvest? Who do you believe sowed the weeds and still sows them without interruption today? And what do you further believe I meant by the field? Is it really so difficult to recognize in the sower of weeds the devil, evil itself, and in the field your soul? Not some soul, but yours and yours and yours …?
I ask all of you who are of good will and who strive to put My teachings into practice in your everyday life: Who torpedoes your good intentions? Who sometimes takes away your courage? Who repeatedly activates old habits that you wanted to put aside long ago? Who prevents you from always advancing as joyfully as you had intended?
Here lies a problem for many: They do not recognize the connections between their problems and difficulties and an influence working from the invisible that makes their effort more difficult. This happens because the burdens in your soul—about which every seducer who observes you from the astral realm knows—are again and again, and mostly without your noticing, “nudged,” so that you are induced once more to practice an old behavior that does not correspond to love instead of transforming it into strength with My help.
These are the weeds that—without your noticing—are constantly sown anew, so that the wheat cannot ripen to the extent desired and with the hoped-for quality. Can I, your Father, remain silent when I see the inability of My children to recognize the extent of this method of seduction or, if they have recognized it, to grasp the danger of these constant attacks? Place My repeated admonitions to vigilance in this context, My beloved.

So your enemies do not lurk only outwardly; those are generally not difficult to identify, at least not your personal enemies. It is not so simple with those who, invisible and therefore unnoticed by you, wait to harm you. Practicing the commandment to love one’s enemies is also not easy because many people refuse to want to recognize their enemies. At first glance this is not easy to understand. But there are reasons for it:
First, the view that one must not condemn, and that it is therefore better not to know one’s enemies so that one does not fall into this temptation in the first place;
second, the necessity of having to draw possible consequences from the realization that one has recognized this or that person as an enemy, which is not infrequently connected with personal disadvantages. Then it is easier not to know about his plan or his dangerousness, roughly according to the motto, “What I don’t know won’t bother me.”
Do not deceive yourselves, My beloved, if you tend toward such behavior. It often resembles “muddling through,” but in the long run it cannot be the solution.
I too never close My eyes or ears. I am omnipresent and see and hear everything that happens in My creation. Everything without exception! Therefore also the abysmal evil directed against Me, My creation, and thus against My children.
I see and hear—and still love! But I do not, as you put it, “get stuck on it.” Instead I use all My love to let those who have gone astray recognize what they have done and are still doing. In this way I prepare their path that leads them home again. To act in this way should also be your goal, even if you do not necessarily yet have it before your eyes. But you are on the way there, and the strength for it already lies within you.
It is absolutely right not to build up anything negative in inner feelings and thoughts and perhaps thereby supply the opposing side with even more energy! But that does not mean closing your eyes to everything as a precaution. Look, recognize, and place it in context—and then, without fear of any kind, do not continue to turn what you have recognized over in thoughts or words. That is not easy! But you must know about those and their intentions who fight against you and want to bring you down. Only when you know them can you learn to love them as your “enemies.” Otherwise you resemble people in a castle who ignore both the attacking besiegers and the still-unclosed doors and windows of their own house. I too did not misjudge Satan when he sought Me out in the wilderness during My fasting; I recognized him for what he was: the devil who wanted to make My earthly mission fail before it had properly begun.
The “secret,” and at the same time the difficulty, however, consists in dealing correctly with the realization of what is satanic and what it seeks; correctly in the sense of love.
So how should you meet those who are not well disposed toward you?
You recognize the activity of the invisible puppet masters only when you look at the negative fruits that appear on your earth as a consequence of their influence. Easier to recognize are those who realize the plans of evil on and in matter. And then there are also the people whom in your personal life—rightly or wrongly—you regard as enemies.
The term “love” can be interpreted in many ways. Its meaning changes with the varying inner closeness to the other, which becomes clear when it is a matter of one’s partner and children or of distant acquaintances. When it is said that all should be loved equally, this sets forth the principle that applies in heaven and should be striven for on the way there. No one will demand that during your earthly lifetime you already love your oppressors or tormentors with the same intimacy and warmth that is possible toward other, familiar people. Or do you believe that I was able to feel the same inner love toward those who tore skin and flesh from Me during My scourging as, for example, toward My mother?
If you seriously want to begin loving your neighbors and especially your enemies, then pay attention to the inner stirrings that take place when you meet them or are confronted with what they do. It is right to bless your neighbor, however evil he may be, or to pray for him. But blessing and praying can also become a deception that leads you to believe you have already more or less fulfilled the commandment of love. Your inner feelings are decisive!
It would therefore be a good beginning in your effort if you refrain from wanting to repay in kind, which means: never wanting to return like for like, even if you were able to do so. It further means: not “putting the other person down,” neither in thought nor in words, and striving not to accuse or condemn him. And finally, if you want to strive for an even higher goal, it means: forgiving your enemy!
I expressly and repeatedly encourage you to pray for your enemies and bless them, but I would like briefly to consider with you what happens, or can happen, when praying and blessing, so that on the one hand you sense the power that lies in them when you practice them from the heart, and on the other hand also recognize how powerless both can be when only words are spoken.
I take blessing as an example. Everything is energy, and a blessing spoken in harmony with Me carries a very high energy potential within it. It resembles a powerful ray of light and love that goes out from the one sending it and then meets the one for whom it is intended. What it brings about in the recipient depends on various factors, all of which are rooted in the recipient. The energy of a blessing is never lost, even when at the moment the recipient cannot take it in because of the condition of his soul. It remains available to him without any time limit, and it can also work “indirectly,” for example by promoting his self-knowledge in different ways.
Every human being can give only what he has. Therefore, if you strive to approach your “enemy” positively in your thoughts, if you want to help him—regardless of what he has done—if you try to let your heart speak without reproach when you bless him, then you are doing what is commanded by the call to love your enemies.
You can also love the opposing side by making clear to it that you do not fall for its trials and temptations because you are striving for other goals—namely a conscious life with Me; for only in this way, that is through your example, will darkness finally be convinced that it can never carry off the victory. Thus in the end it will be converted: through human beings who proclaim My love through their lives!
What applies to blessing applies in the same way to prayer.
But the decisive thing is that you include Me in what you do. By yourselves you can accomplish little or nothing. When in thought you go to your brother or sister, take Me with you! In everything you then undertake in spirit, I am at your side with My love. Your prayers and blessings are strengthened many times over through Me. In this way energy of love is sent into every event; every person you think of is touched by it. You thereby become part of the great “army of light,” consisting of countless angels, souls, and human beings who accompany with their love the process of transformation that lies ahead of you. In this way you too can make your contribution so that some things can still be averted, and much need not unfold on the great and painful scale on which it would have to unfold without your love and prayers.

In the not-easy implementation of the commandment to love your enemies, it can help you to keep reminding yourselves that all human beings are your brothers and sisters. That may sound worn-out, but it changes nothing in the fact that it is so. It means at the same time that you all come from the same source of life, from Me. And once you all lived as brothers and sisters, carrying My love within you, united in heaven. So it was, and so it will be again. An interlude, a “spiritual incident,” separated you for a while. But your divine childhood, your heavenly kinship, has remained untouched by it. At present you are all walking different paths, but they will unite again with Me and in Me.
You too are not blank pages; one has more, another less “black ink” on the pages of his soul. Take this thought with you and consider whether you are not setting yourselves up as judges over your neighbor when in thoughts or words you stamp him as an offender who ought to be condemned. Recognize what he does; let this recognition protect you, for no one demands that you blindly approve everything. But then remember how it is rightly commanded to deal with this perception or experience: to love your enemies in the rightly understood sense, as I have explained to you.
If you want to walk the path I have shown you but do not yet quite succeed because old programs and patterns of behavior still stand against it, then come to Me and ask Me for help. I am waiting for you.
Would you like to know how far you have already come on the path of loving your enemies? Then perhaps one statement can be a help to you, provided you can affirm it:
“Whether someone is my enemy is not decided by him, but by me. If I do not want to see him as my enemy, he will hardly succeed in making me do so through corresponding behavior on his part.”
Developing such an inner attitude is possible, but it presupposes your willingness to work on yourselves and thus gradually clear aside what still lies within you as a burden on the soul. Such clearing up does not concern only love of enemies either; it encompasses the whole human being with all his still-existing weaknesses. I am only too happy to help each one with his clearing-up work (1). For that is why I came into the world: to serve, to move everything toward the good, to save. My help, which I offer you selflessly—and offer anew through My word of revelation today—can take hold in you and for you only when you give Me your yes. I must wait for that because I gave you free will. The first step must be taken by you. Even if it consists only in declaring in thought your willingness to reshape your inner being, and then showing through your effort that you are serious about it.
My beloved, your free will requires that you begin the clearing up, that you take the first step. If it were the other way around, it would mean: I begin the clearing up, with a work intended for you and meant to help you learn—and you help Me with it …
I bless you, and you now know what a blessing means: My strength flows to you, and every open heart that is willing can receive My power of blessing and love and make use of it, without any advance payment. The only commandment for being and remaining strengthened by it in the long term is: love—and nothing else.

(1) The following little story fits wonderfully here:
A man learned that God unexpectedly wanted to pay him a visit. When he looked around his house, he was startled, for he felt it was impossible to receive God amid the disorder that prevailed everywhere. So he set to work cleaning up. There were plenty of superfluous and useless things to get rid of, many things first had to be put back in their proper place, and the dust lying on everything had to be wiped away.
The hours passed, and it seemed the man would not manage to put his house in order in time. Then it happened that a stranger came along the road. The two began talking, and the stranger offered to help with the cleaning up.
All at once everything went almost by itself. After only a short time the house shone in its old splendor, and it was a joy to see the relief in the man’s eyes.
“There,” he said, “everything is in order now. Now God can come.”
“Why do I still need to come?” said the stranger. “I am already here.”
