Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, one of the reasons it is so difficult for you to move toward new goals—goals that lie outside your human existence and your usual way of thinking—is to be found in the ignorance that rests like a layer of fog, difficult to dissolve, upon the great majority of My human children. Alongside the constant temptations and enticements, this ignorance is the instrument of the opposing side that it employs most skillfully and successfully. Whoever is blind in a spiritual sense cannot recognize his goal. He cannot truly “move”; in most cases he lacks the necessary incentive and therefore sees no need to initiate a change of direction of any kind.
Those who feel called to impart knowledge in the sense of My divine laws conceal their inability to do so by working with abstract concepts, giving vague answers and setting up commandments and prohibitions that give the unsuspecting and inexperienced the impression that they are more or less on the right path. Toward what? Toward a heaven that cannot be explained more precisely? Into an equally inexplicable later eternity?
Keeping someone in ignorance means at the same time restricting his freedom, without his noticing it, because he has no idea that he is being manipulated by the darkness and deprived of one of the most beautiful gifts I have given him: the freedom of a child of God!
Whoever knows of this freedom, whoever knows the goal toward which he then moves joyfully and with longing, thereby automatically withdraws from the influence of the forces that want to prevent soul and human being from finding their way back to Me.
True freedom is inner freedom; it is something about which most people know nothing. This freedom can be lived even when burdensome circumstances restrict outer freedom. Inner freedom is far more fulfilling than anything promised by a life of supposed freedom based on consumption, pleasure, games of the ego and often irresponsibility.
The freedom into which I wish to lead you already lies within you. It has been buried by you yourselves and by what you have allowed—often unknowingly and unwillingly. Like love within you, it is part of your divine inheritance and waits only to be consciously sought, so that it may then give your life a different, better inner—and almost always outer—quality.
Whoever knows or senses nothing of the freedom already present within him will make no effort—will be unable to make any effort—to reach purposefully the land of his longing. That is why it is so important that My children become those who know, in whose hearts the fire of a rightly understood “homesickness” burns. Then there grows within them the resolve, building slowly but steadily, to set out on the way to the land of freedom.
What awaits you there? It is almost impossible to put it into words. Fear, dread, illness, suffering, and worries no longer exist there. Instead there is a togetherness beyond your comprehension and a mutual willingness to help that you do not find on earth. Great and small meet in selfless love; openness and trust are without limit; willingness to serve one another has once again become a sustaining part of your divine consciousness, and you make manifold use of the joys of creative activity for the good of all. Nothing is lacking; nothing can be lacking, because heaven is fullness. Your abilities to participate in the greater whole will increase as your spiritual development unfolds—and that knows no limits. Your inner feeling, thinking, and acting are one and will be determined by the desire to meet all creatures in love; and you are subject to no restrictions as regards what you would like to do in keeping with your inclinations and talents. You are children of infinity, children of My love! And whenever you wish to come into My arms—come, I am waiting for you! In everything and above everything reigns an indescribable harmony, a glory of light and the love of which I have so often spoken to you. And you live in the unshakable certainty: This is and remains my home for all eternity!
This is your goal, the final goal of every soul and every human being; for I will bring everyone back to Me because it is My will to do so, and because I am omnipotence and love! There are indeed several obstacles to overcome on the way there, but they are not insurmountable—least of all when you allow Me to help you with them. They are there to teach you something, to strengthen you, to let you become again the all-conscious divine creature you have been from eternity; that you always were, even if for a time you did not know it, and that you will be forever.
You will certainly not make, “from a standing start,” the leap that brings you directly from earth to the heavenly place I have described to you. For heaven is the purest energy of love, the highest vibration of creation, into which, according to the law of attraction, only one who has finally become selfless and unconditional love again can enter. But on the way there, if you do not lose sight of your goal and act accordingly, you will experience so much beauty, receive so much help and protection, and gain so many wonderful experiences and impressions that even these stages of development, which may be called intermediate goals, will already seem like heaven to you. And full of joy and amazement you will discover that bliss can always increase still further.
That is the goal you are to keep before your eyes, which I write into your heart—today not for the first and not for the last time—so that it may act like a magnet that irresistibly draws you whenever you direct your attention to it again and again.
Whoever proclaims something else, whoever excludes from this path those who in his opinion have the “wrong faith,” and whoever portrays Me as a punishing God rather than as the love that understands and forgives everything, acts—whether deliberately or not—outside My law and outside My will.

I have spoken to you in various ways before about bonds. It is obvious that bonds of any kind greatly hinder or even make impossible the way into freedom. All people are more or less bound, and their souls take these bonds with them at what is falsely called “death”—a designation born of deliberately fostered ignorance—into the worlds beyond. The degree of freedom or lack of freedom that determines your later life in the beyond, and not infrequently your future earthly life as well in the event of reincarnation, therefore lies within you yourselves.
Whether you recognize bonds—whether you acknowledge at all that such invisible fetters exist—and whether you endeavor to release them if you encounter them is a question of consciousness.
Consciousness, though invisible and therefore intangible, is the central place from which human behavior is directed. No one can act without consciousness; no one can act against his consciousness in the long run without sooner or later impairments arising in soul or body. Your consciousness is, so to speak, the core that brings forth your inner feelings, thoughts, words and deeds and, when it is trained and already developed, also examines them and perhaps corrects them. You call this part “the conscience.”
Every soul that enters a human body at birth brings its individual consciousness with it, whether from earlier lives or—if the spiritual being incarnates from the pure heavens—through the voluntary taking-on of burdens while descending through the various levels. From childhood onward this consciousness is further formed, by parents, teachers, good or bad examples, life circumstances, the values conveyed to the child and much more. Everything that encounters the child, the adolescent and later the adult shapes his consciousness, which therefore at every point in life is something constantly changing, something wholly individual, something that belongs to you—and only to you! It does not merely have something to do with you: it is yours. It is, as it were, your product, just as you are the product of your consciousness.
No consciousness is like another. It is the result of a development that often began long before the present incarnation and over which you had and have decisive influence: on the one hand by giving your life and your character their corresponding direction through decisions of your free will, and on the other by being influenced without noticing it or by consciously allowing yourselves to be influenced—for good as well as for less good. There are no coincidences here either.
Both the forces of light and the dark powers are very intent on intervening as early as possible in the soul-development of a soul that has decided on a new earthly life. This begins already in childhood, while the circumstances of life—which the soul naturally knew about before its incarnation—play a major role.
In what they do, the forces of light, which include your guardian angels and spiritual helpers, always respect the human being’s free will; the satanic, dark forces pay no regard to it. They proceed differently: through his wishes and ideas they bind the human being to patterns of behavior, habits, and opinions, which in the rarest cases are recognized as bonds, and in this way imperceptibly make him less free. This is done with extreme skill, so that the person regards his way of speaking and acting as the result of his own decisions, over which, however, he has often long since lost any influence.
The deception has succeeded. The attachment, which not infrequently becomes an almost insoluble bondage, has been accomplished. The vague formulation of the goal is no longer believed, hardly raises suspicion or prompts few questions. The goal itself has almost no power of attraction left, at least not enough to strive joyfully and with sincere effort toward the heavenly home and the love waiting there.
The unholy alliance of bondage and ignorance, directed from the invisible since time immemorial and forged in the visible through human beings, has those who obey it firmly in its grip.
If this description seems exaggerated to you, then look around—but do not forget to look in the mirror. Where do you find the joy that expresses itself in daily life, in behavior, because a person orients himself toward the goal where he knows with certainty his true life is waiting for him? How strong is the longing for freedom and love? Is it strong enough to initiate a lasting change? Strong enough to be willing to recognize and release bonds with My help, and at the same time to question what has been handed down and, where necessary, separate from it in order to experience something new? To walk new, less fate-laden, brighter and easier paths at My hand? How great is the willingness to overcome one’s own inertia and to behave more consistently in the spirit of love—most readily and best beginning with oneself, of course, before unlawfully turning to the faults of one’s neighbor, which are so much easier to recognize?

When I speak to you about bonds, I see many question marks and uncertainties: “To what degree am I bound?” many ask themselves. “Have I allowed myself to be bound without noticing it?”
It would take an enormous amount of time and space to list and explain to you all the countless material and nonmaterial bonds and their variations, and in the end it would not help you very much. A look at your everyday life and the use of the logic of the heart give you far more information about what still prevents you at this moment from beginning the day with Me free of fear and worry, cheerful and full of trust, maintaining this intimate connection, and entering the night with a grateful heart regardless of what the day has brought you. For all of this—just to give you a small indication—that makes you restless, causes you to fall out of your harmony and occupies your thoughts beyond measure is a bond. It is a bond to your ideas of how something must be, how something should unfold.
Not infrequently fears and worries lie behind it: what will happen if this or that occurs or does not occur? Do you recognize in this one example the bond that lies behind your fearful and worried thoughts? Fear, joined with uneasiness and unrest, is a sure sign that something wants to hold you.
Not that I do not understand My human children in their often difficult situations; not that I somehow minimize or fail to take seriously their needs—the small needs as well as the great ones. For you the point is simply to recognize that here an opportunity presents itself to take a step into freedom. That step may consist in coming to Me, placing your hand in Mine, pouring out your heart to Me, and then daring with Me the step that leads into still deeper trust.
Trust and worry are opposites that have different fathers: your heavenly Father teaches you—lovingly, caringly and never overburdening you—trust; the father of lies and temptation brings dependencies in the train of his promises that hinder your soul’s development without your noticing it. Added to this is that all who are bound and dependent supply him with the energy he so urgently needs for his struggle against the light.
If in the future you want to go through the day more watchfully than before, pay attention to the “little things,” to what at first glance does not necessarily strike you as a bond. Everything you actually do not want to do because you have often spoken against it, because it does not befit a child of God, because it contains elements of lovelessness and much more—all that you do not want and yet do because you fall back into old patterns of behavior represents a more or less strong attachment to something still within you that has not yet been transformed and overcome with My help. The same applies to what you ought to do but fail to do for reasons you often do not admit even to yourselves.
But be careful, My beloved children: here too the opposing side has set up numerous traps to make an effort come to nothing. It can even turn against the person himself if he believes he must now set about shaping his character or changing his habits with the wrong motivation. I am speaking of fanaticism, which is nothing other than a strong attachment to negative forces that use a false basic attitude to prevent continuous development in the spirit of love, while seductively supporting instead a trait that leads astray.
I said that no one is without bonds, but this does not mean at the same time that everyone is therefore burdened with great guilt from sin! Nevertheless, recognizing and releasing bonds is necessary in order to become free of what is sometimes merely disturbing, but sometimes also obstructive. With every fetter that is released, another step is taken toward freedom. Yet this can succeed only if you recognize the necessity of laying aside, step by step, everything burdensome and obstructive.
I go one step further and speak not only of necessity, but say: Have the desire to come into inner freedom and thereby a little closer to Me! For only the desire for it, born of love for Me and longing for your true home, carries the necessary power within it and constitutes the right motivation. Other motives—for example behaving “properly” out of fear of punishment, placing importance on fulfilling commandments or observing prohibitions, or “simply doing it because one has been told to”—do not move you one step forward.

The desire to reach a particular goal can arise only if the goal is known, if it appears worth striving for, and if there are real possibilities of reaching it. No one can or will strive with all his strength and surrender toward a goal he does not know or does not truly believe in because it has been conveyed to him unclearly and contradictorily.
Here you recognize the connection between the ignorance prevailing worldwide and the resulting lack of freedom with which the darkness has drawn people under its spell and holds them there. Under such conditions there can be no departure into the land of freedom.
But this is what I desire, and to a far greater degree than has already happened—despite all attempts to cloud the view—among the willing, the awakened and those who love Me. That is why I repeatedly bring your eternal home close to you and fan your longing to set out on the journey home even more intensely than before. For heaven—in the truest sense of the word—is waiting for you. An indescribable freedom founded in My love is waiting for you.
You have now become people who know. If you want to follow the desire of your heart more strongly, you will begin to consider what you can do differently. Basically this is very simple, and you already know the answer: Let My will be done, especially in situations in which you feel driven to take matters into your own hands, not infrequently with the underlying emotions and from your inner correspondences.
How often do you say or pray: Your will be done! And how often is your heart truly in it? I once suggested making a small rephrasing so that you could read from your inner reaction how your human self responds: “Father, Your will be done in me!”
Expressed only differently, but with the same inner attitude, is the willingness to surrender to Me, by which you place your life and your paths into My hands.
If you wish, let the words “Father, You determine the rhythm of my life” rise from your heart as another way of saying it. What do you feel? What do you think awaits you then? You are free to understand by “rhythm” whatever you wish: perhaps everything that comes upon you at all? The sequence, the intensity, the various encounters, the many opportunities and possibilities, what does not come upon you out of care because I preserve you from it? Find your interpretation; in every case, however, you are saying to Me: “Father, You do it!”
And you have My promise that I will then lead you into freedom in a way that does justice to your being, helps you overcome the obstacles still ahead of you, takes care that your soul suffers no harm, but rather that your inner being expands more and more and you awaken as a child of My love who becomes conscious of his true greatness, dignity and power.
Freedom, vastness, eternity lie before you. Come!
