Divine Revelation
My beloved brothers and sisters, because I—Christ—live as love within each one of you, and because I accompany you as your guide on the way back to the Father’s house, I call Myself your friend; a friend like no other: full of intimacy and tenderness, full of understanding and patience, full of warmth and kindness, full of readiness to help and infinite love. But in Me there are also unfathomable wisdom, clarity, order, an unshakable law, and divine power—and the desire and will to bring everything that still lives outside the purely spiritual heavens back into the glory of the eternal home.
Therefore, as soon as I was able to reach humanity with My impulses—because its consciousness, that is, its maturity of soul, allowed it—I raised My word in many different ways. I spoke at different times and to different groups. I still do so today, and I will continue to do so until the inner understanding of even the last one who has not yet found the light has changed and he sets out on the way home.
I gradually adapted the content of My divine word to the understanding of My brothers and sisters. Thus, from an initial imparting of knowledge, through admonitions, loving encouragement, words that gave courage, consolation, and enlightenment, I moved step by step toward reminding you, on the one hand, that you already carry love within you, for the most part still hidden, and that your task is to give expression to this love again through your life; and, on the other hand, toward giving you more and more concrete help on how you can accomplish this.
If you regard life as a school in which there is something to learn—and most of you will agree with this—then you should also be interested in recognizing for yourselves, and thereby experiencing, what progress in learning you have already made with My help. Whether this progress is great or still small, whether there has been any progress at all over the course of the last months and years, let that remain outside any judgment for the moment. In any case, what you recognize can spur you on and help you become clear about your next steps. If you can build upon what—unlike before—already comes more easily to you or has already succeeded, then you have a powerful and effective motivation for the coming time. If progress is not yet visible to the degree your soul desires, then you can decide to change something, to question something more seriously, or to put it into practice more fully than before—if you wish, for you have free will.
In any case, a small taking-stock, such as the turn of the year offers you, can and will be a help. But My suggestion is in no way meant to produce fears or feelings of guilt in you. If you should feel anything of that kind, it might be precisely a reason to look a little deeper and perhaps discover remnants of a false image of God. My divine love does not threaten, it does not punish, it does not frighten, it exerts no pressure; instead it is everlasting forbearance and boundless freedom.

As your friend I am the One who wants to be every conceivable help to you and who is so if you accept the help. From time to time this also includes a necessary measure of seriousness to remind you that on earth you live in the domain of darkness, which has set many traps in which people are meant to become entangled. Whoever becomes caught in them without noticing and therefore sees no need to free himself again may find that his way home takes longer, in the worst case very long. No one is immune to this danger. But the seriousness sometimes required, which I mentioned before, always springs from My longing for you and My will to bring My brothers and sisters home as soon as possible.
One of the traps is called “accumulating knowledge without striving to put that knowledge into practice.” With My words I address those who—often over a long period—take pleasure in My words but do not, or only to a small degree, take them as an occasion to put them into practice in their lives. That means incorporating them into everyday conduct so that, little by little, selfish behavior, false thinking, lack of love that has become habitual, and much else can be changed in the spirit of love.
Such conduct, My friends, is not without danger. In many ways it gradually brings about a change in the vibration of your soul. Reading or listening without the corresponding action leads in the long run to stagnation, and measured against the further development your soul intended before incarnation, stagnation amounts to a regression. Eventually such an attitude becomes a “well-worn” program whose influence on one’s own actions is hardly noticed anymore, yet it can determine—and often enough does determine—your whole life. Not infrequently, talk and discussions then replace action, or no perceptible development can be seen.
Recognize the seriousness in My words, but also the love resonating within them, which wants to help you avoid this error.
Whoever is seriously interested in enlightenment and wisdom from the Spirit is like a person who enrolls in a driving school with the aim of acquiring the necessary knowledge and basic practical skill so that, after receiving his driver’s license, he can, for example, drive a car and take part in traffic. Without this goal, without having further progress in view, he resembles a student who may eventually know the traffic regulations by heart but is still far removed from the practice of driving.
My love naturally allows a person to concern himself with spiritual laws and with My words of revelation even without intending, through his own effort, to recognize, deepen, and apply their truths. Whatever anyone does, it never leads to an evaluation or even judgment by Me.
But whoever wants to advance in the development of his soul and perhaps wonders why this is not succeeding to the desired degree may follow My suggestion and look back a little, in order to discover his obstacles and blockages and then make use of what he recognizes. And if he finds in himself that accumulating knowledge without striving to put it into practice is a weak point, he can consider whether he wants to change it or not. Perhaps he then remembers that it does not contribute to inner and outer harmony if, over the long term, “two souls” beat in his breast: one nourished by longing for greater togetherness with Me—otherwise his hunger for spiritual knowledge would not have stirred in him and he would not have begun searching—and the other seeking to prevent this because of the “well-worn tracks of the past.”
Then the hour of decision has come.
I, your brother, friend, and guide through your life on this side and in the beyond, rejoice over every small step you decide to take. I do not merely rejoice over it; I am the One who gives you every support. Yet here too—as with everything that operates in creation—the law applies: Whoever serves the law, the law serves him. The first step must therefore be taken by you, because you have free will. A request is enough to set this process in motion. Then the “heavenly clockwork” begins to work more strongly and leads you, in keeping with your possibilities and your development, out of your present lack of freedom and limitation.

Some of you are not yet accustomed to speaking and also living with Me, your divine brother Jesus Christ—or with the Father, which makes no difference. Yet this is not so difficult. In principle it is the same as in a good marriage, partnership, or friendship: one does as much as possible together, exchanges thoughts, gathers experiences together, has no secrets from one another, trusts one another, knows one another, loves one another.
It is no different in your relationship with the source of your life, with eternal love. Such togetherness is foreign to many of you because either it was not taught to you or you were taught something else; or because, although you sensed or knew that it was possible to live with God in a closeness you had not previously known and were unaccustomed to, you did not dare or did not try.
I encourage you once again: Try it!
Whoever goes through the day with Me builds an ever closer relationship with Me, a relationship whose foundation is My divine love. Once you are a little more familiar with My immediate closeness and My working in your life, you will also become increasingly aware of the wonderful security that develops as a result of our togetherness. The step into the shelter that accompanies you through your day is then no longer great. It comes almost by itself and will give you a calmness and lightness you did not know before. Then you go through your life with Me.
When you are together with a beloved person, you take care to do everything that gives the other joy and to refrain from everything that could grieve him. Why should it be different between us? There is, however, one small difference: I will never do or cause anything that grieves your soul! The fact that your human self often feels otherwise is because you are not yet always able to recognize as good and helpful everything that comes to you. But if you remember that your self-chosen earthly life serves to train your ability to love, and that I moreover make no mistake—never, neither with you nor with anyone else—then it will become increasingly easy for you to recognize the great arc that leads you from heaven to earth and back again.
Then it will no longer be difficult for you to develop the desire to change your life in the points you consider in need of change because you have recognized in them a blockage on the way into My arms.

Each of you still carries more or fewer such obstacles or hurdles within. They resemble backpacks of different size and weight that frustrate many a good intention you actually wish to carry out on your earthly journey. If you do not know what stands in the way of your good intentions, you can do nothing about your old burdens. But if you know them, with My help you can allow their influence upon you to become less and less effective until they finally dissolve. However, after your recognition, your decision is required!
A help not to be underestimated is the looking back I have suggested, which naturally is appropriate not only at the turn of the year but best whenever it comes to mind. Sometimes a little courage is indeed required, but what can happen to you if I—your friend—stand beside you?
Among the imperfections you may discover—“perhaps” for one, “with great probability” for another—may be the weakness of character of being unable or unwilling to forgive. It deserves special attention. If in your inner exploration you encounter such a fault, then a very great opportunity lies before you to move aside a truly heavy stone from your path to Me—provided you recognize its obstructive and partly destructive influence and are willing to face the necessary inner work.
Nothing can come upon a person that does not in some way have something to do with him; in this consideration I leave aside the few exceptions of the so-called souls who have chosen to bear suffering. The law of attraction ensures with absolute precision the necessary and exact meeting of people and the arising of corresponding situations. So if you have the feeling or certainty that someone has caused you a small or great harm, you can be sure that either a learning task you must now master is connected with it, or something from earlier times enters your life that you yourselves caused—which makes the learning task the situation presents no less necessary but all the more required.
That during your earthly life injuries inward and outward are inflicted upon you cannot be avoided, because satanic forces operate in matter and everything is subject to the law of cause and effect. As Jesus of Nazareth I brought people the commandment to love God and their neighbor, whose purpose was, and will remain as long as the world exists, nothing other than to break and end the cycle of the false understanding of “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.”
If one of two or more opponents does not begin, in thoughts, words, or deeds, to extend the hand of reconciliation, the wheel keeps turning without interruption and ceaselessly produces bad fruit. This can extend over many generations, over many centuries and millennia. Darkness rejoices in this, because in this way it receives the energy it so urgently needs and keeps bound to itself those who act against love and reconciliation.
Quite apart from what happens to generations and whole peoples that persist unreasonably and irreconcilably in striking back, such an attitude also brings serious consequences in the life of the individual and damages his spiritual and soul development. Even if your personal life does not involve striking back, unforgiveness alone is enough to make a purposeful path into the heavenly home difficult or impossible.
Even every injury inflicted “only” upon the soul resembles an open wound that does not heal until the balm of forgiving and asking forgiveness is finally applied. As long as the wound is not closed, it continues as an invisible bond that makes a person ill inwardly and often outwardly as well. And it can poison you through your thoughts and the words and deeds resulting from them. As for its healing: the question of who caused it does not play the decisive role. Which of you knows the background that lies in darkness for you? Who knows what share he has in an event that seems unjust to him?
When you look at your near or distant past, images or memories may arise that call to mind situations in which you felt unfairly treated. In many cases—depending on what was involved and whether you were hurt lightly or severely—thoughts became fixed within you that do not yet correspond to the law of love into which you are willing to grow. Even if they are not serious thoughts of revenge, they are often currents running beneath the surface that keep you from making a clean break with the matter.
Have you thought about the fact that you harm yourselves by this? That you keep a wound open that could long since have healed? That you place in the way of yourselves and the other person or persons an obstacle to healing or further progress that really needs to be moved aside? If you wish, give yourselves over to these thoughts in quiet moments. Try to imagine the relief you will feel when this stone is no longer a blockage. Remember that I am the One who, at your wish or request, sets the switches in order to initiate the dissolution of such unforgiveness and finally bring it about.
I, the friend at your side, for whom all things are possible!
No one can re-enter heaven who does not carry heaven within. That means everything still contrary to love must at some point on the way to the Father be looked at, addressed, and dissolved. If this does not happen during the earthly years given to you as an opportunity, the process of reconciliation will have to be carried out in the worlds of the beyond. Do you know what circumstances, perhaps great difficulties, await you there? Whether it will even be possible for you to bring about reconciliation?
If you wish to look back, do not direct your gaze only at what was done to you but also at where you hurt others, knowingly or unknowingly. And where it is necessary, go, extend your hand, and ask forgiveness. And be certain that I am there. If you are not yet sure whether everything between you and your neighbor has already been cleared up, that is, truly forgiven, then vividly imagine a situation in which you unexpectedly stand face to face with him. How do you feel? What changes within you, in your inner feelings, thoughts, and bodily reactions? Then you have a small indication of whether everything, or at least most things, have again been put in order between you.
I will tell you something else, even if not everyone understands its true meaning and depth at once: If you act as the law requires, then you contribute to redeeming the negative that is in the world! And many of you who read or hear My word and put it into practice in your lives went forth knowing and intending to help in bringing the fallen home and transforming evil.

My beloved brothers and sisters, despite the seriousness of My words, recognize the love that resonates within them. It seeks to ease or take from you the hardships an incarnation brings. It seeks to stand by you in the struggle that the forces of evil repeatedly force upon you. It seeks to lead you out of the entanglements of your destiny and thus out of the law of cause and effect to which all of you—some more, some less—are still subject.
Therefore My request: look honestly at yourselves and your past and act in the spirit of forgiving love wherever discord and conflict still prevail. If you follow My request, even the largest stones that still lie as obstacles on your path will be rolled aside; for then knowledge that until now merely ruled your head will have taken root in your heart and produced a good harvest.
In this way you become, from hearers and readers, doers who not only believe My words but put them into practice in their lives. And thus you also take your place in the ranks of the now countless proclaimers of My love who express it through their lives—and not through the doomed attempt to accumulate knowledge.
For this work of overcoming, for this confrontation with your ego and with your human faults and weaknesses, I give you My strength, which flows over you like a flood of light and love and pours into you.
