Divine Revelation
As it was in times past, so it also happens in this time. Never have I, the good Shepherd, been silent, and never was or is it possible for the dark powers to silence Me, infinite love and eternally shadowless light, or to extinguish Me—even though the corrupt paths of all those who were and are against Me are stained with the blood and suffering of many of My messengers of light and lined with the shameful deeds and atrocities through which the word of love and truth, the word of life, is to be suppressed to this day.
The unconditional, grace-filled, eternal love that I am never leaves you, My beloved—not you, My daughter, not you, My son, and not you, My child—never, regardless of whether you are on this side in a human body or beyond the veil. Your heavenly Father does not cease or pause in instructing His children, enlightening them, and leading them into their inner sanctuary where I dwell, so that the memory of their true divine origin and of the deep meaning of their existence on earth may dawn from their soul like the morning light, burst the chains of their narrowed consciousness, and guide them onto the luminous path of spiritual unfolding, which is the way back to their eternal home.
Truly, countless messengers of light in the flesh have accompanied all generations of humankind, drawing from My love and truth and offering My divine gifts as refreshment to all who long for them, for the healing of their soul and the welfare of the human being.
This is happening especially, My beloved, in your time, when the spiritual epoch that I once inaugurated in Christ, the highest love, is coming to an end and giving way to another, brighter age of redemption and the bringing home of all who have fallen. And as forgetfulness of God changes into consciousness of God, many of My human children and soul-children will find the way into My longing Fatherly arms.
Truly, I tell you, you live in a time of awakening, a time of action; and this means that, when you look at your life, the increasingly pressing events place you more and more before clear decisions and call you to right, decisive action. How will you decide? In the way a human being ordinarily tends to? Or will you choose the solution and the path of love? Will you act as I teach you and as befits a conscious child of God? Or will you pay back in kind?
Many a beloved child of Mine has been listening to My word for a long time, and I have already granted him many a truth of the law and many an insight; and yet he still has not understood that he himself is no less affected and called to loving action than his brothers and sisters. Indeed, his accumulated knowledge, much of it unlived, drives My child to move from place to place, from community to community, constantly increasing it further, presenting himself to his brothers and sisters in the vain splendor of knowledge without life, and judging whether truth is present and to be found here or there.
Recognize, O human being: only through the wisdom that you have gained in the effort to perform conscious acts of love does what is true and what is false become accessible to your increasingly pure inner feeling. Otherwise you spend your life in the illusion that you can distinguish truth from untruth, remain a prisoner in the fetters of knowledge that primarily serves your selfishness, and from it pronounce judgment upon your neighbor and thus upon yourself.
Know that there is only one key to the gate of wisdom and truth, and it is humble service and conscious action in the spirit of love—in thoughts, words, and deeds! It is this that prepares the field of your soul, makes the seed blossom, and gives a rich, good-tasting harvest. It illuminates your path and makes you blissful, My child; and I, your Father, take pleasure in it.
So look at your lives with Me, My beloved, and I will show you where change is needed and where your action in the spirit of true love is required, and I will give you all My Fatherly assistance for this. Only then does knowledge begin to be truly useful to you, for knowledge alone never raises you up to Me; on the contrary, it can become as heavy as a millstone and lead to your downfall. For spiritual knowledge in particular—the knowledge of the laws underlying your life—is inseparably bound up with the great responsibility to make it lived reality. So what do you intend to do with all your knowledge, My child? And how much longer do you intend to remain in it?
Recognize that every moment is precious and, for all those who persevere and strive sincerely, richly blessed by My help, My grace, and mercy. So use the time that has been given to you and feel yourselves carried by your Father’s infinite love. Amen.
Divine Revelation
I, your brother Jesus Christ, am the love within the Father. I entered this room already during your songs and prayers and am in your midst. I am the light of the world, the visible and the invisible; I am the light of the whole creation. And My light is the same as My life, and My life is the same as My love.
Every creature longs for light, for this light is its nourishment; and so many beings from the realms beyond have come with Me, drawn by the radiation of light and love, which for them at the same time means warmth and consolation, hope and a future. An immeasurable number of your brothers and sisters are around you. All are waiting to receive help and insights for their future path, for their decision; for free will also applies in the beyond and determines the decision of every creature.
I have told you before that in the first years and decades after My death on the cross it was very similar to what it is today with you here in this place, and very similar also to what happens at thousands of other places throughout the world where My own come together in the spirit of unity, in the spirit of love. Back then too they were human beings whom I could reach within; who, beyond their temple service, beyond observing countless regulations, beyond keeping rites and commandments, had recognized that love must be lived if they were to step into My footprints. This happens wherever longing breaks open in human hearts.
Today I want to tell you something about My love. Because of the countless aspects contained in divine love, this can only be done in broad outlines, but these will enable you to work out the subtleties yourselves and thereby unfold your consciousness step by step. Many false ideas about My love exist in the world, especially among those who call themselves Christians. It is an interpretation of love based on the teachings of your theologians, and it has little or nothing to do with what I taught and lived before you. For on the one hand My love is so infinitely great, helpful, and merciful that no human heart can ever comprehend it; on the other hand it is precisely the opposite of what you repeatedly encounter as so-called “indulgent love.” My love applies first and foremost to you as immortal creatures, but beyond that it also applies to the human being to the degree that it is good for his soul.
Because there is so much ignorance in the world, because the law of sowing and reaping is not known, not observed, or falsely interpreted, My human children run through their day like lost sheep. When they speak of My love and believe they can or must interpret it, they apply the standard of their human love, which often enough serves only their ego and in truth is far removed from My divine love. My love has one single goal: to bring everyone home again—that is, to create within them the conditions that enable them to enter heaven again because they have unfolded heaven within themselves.
What does the love of so many parents for their children look like? Do they not often shower them with gifts and favors of every kind merely to retain, indeed to buy, their affection and sympathy? Do they consider whether this corresponds to the child’s process of development, whether it is good for the maturing of the child’s soul, whether the child learns something from it for his future life, whether it strengthens his character? Do they not far too often believe that they will be loved only if they fulfill every request and wish?
Because this is so, they apply the standard of their own understanding of love to My love, and when I, or My law, do not correspond to their ideas, they turn away from Me and often enough make Me responsible for everything that goes wrong in their lives, everything that contradicts their views, their “truth”—as though I personally were the One who, according to whim, decides for or against their wishes and ideas.
My love is My will, and My will expresses itself in My divine laws, which are eternal, treat everyone equally—and thus work justly—and are without weakness or flaw, so absolute and faultless that they never require correction, compromise, or discussion. They constitute the guiding principle of My infinite love. My entire creation, and therefore every single creature, is subject to these laws. This love has only one desire: to unite all who have fallen again forever in love, to lead them back into true life. Leading them back means: not bringing the human being—the perishable body—into heaven, but the purified soul, which then rests again at My heart as a perfect spirit being.
Each one, for different reasons, left heaven or an interim stay in subtle realms and, for equally different reasons, incarnated or entered the flesh again. In its deepest interior every soul knows where its true home is and that sooner or later it will set out on the way back there. My love serves My child on this path, and it does so unconditionally. My love therefore has first and foremost the maturing of the soul in view; and everything that happens to the human being is meant to serve—and in the end does serve—to move him to change his behavior at those points where it does not yet correspond to the law of love for God and neighbor.
My love therefore does not give indiscriminately and with closed eyes—as human love so often does—merely to make itself popular or to soothe its own guilty conscience. It also always seeks—wherever necessary—to give the human being a nudge, to awaken him. Everything that serves the human being in gaining insight is therefore permitted by My law, indeed intended. But not in order to make life difficult for the human being, and certainly not to punish him, but to move him to reflect on his life and his behavior.
Very few of My human children know this fact, even though so much is said about life being a school. One goes to school to learn something, and—apart from exceptions that I will not discuss here—the soul generally enters an incarnation for the same reason. Because of their lack of enlightenment, but also because of their unbelief, human beings during the time of their “school of life” place the greatest value on preserving their body and on living circumstances that are extremely pleasant for them, forgetting that all of this is perishable, that in reality it is the soul that so urgently needs nourishment. Nothing material—no matter how much value a human being may have placed on health, wealth, beauty, and prestige—can ever enter heaven, because when heaven welcomes the prodigal son or the prodigal daughter home again, the perishable human body has long since ceased to exist.
I want to give you an image for this. Compare your heavenly home with a house on earth that is comfortably furnished, where harmony reigns and there is pleasant warmth. Now a person decides to leave this house in winter in order to take care of a number of things outside. For this he is given the necessary equipment: a warm winter coat, suitable shoes, gloves, head covering, and so on—in the figurative sense, a human body. If he is aware that his clothing serves exclusively the purpose of enabling him to remain outside the secure house at all and to carry out his work, then he will certainly respect, care for, and maintain his winter clothing, but it will not be everything to him; it will only be a means to an end. He will look forward to returning home after completing his tasks.
If he does not know these connections because no one has told him, or because they were explained falsely, because he does not believe them, or because his antennae are directed exclusively toward outward things, then all his attention is devoted to his clothing. Yet during his stay outside it will inevitably suffer damage here and there and become stained, depending on the degree of his attentiveness and care; perhaps he will lose his shoes, perhaps his gloves will be stolen, and more besides. The circumstances under which he then has to remain outside may not be very pleasant. He wonders at every new tear, every new hole—and yet it never occurs to him that the sometimes unpleasant circumstances of his stay outside are trying to tell him something about himself; not even when he sees others who cope much better with the winter conditions.
Instead of asking what has happened to his protective winter clothing, why this or that could happen, where the causes might perhaps be found, he asks—indeed, sometimes begs—for new items of equipment, only then to continue living in the same way as before, that is, not in accordance with My law. Would it correspond to My understanding of love simply to fulfill such wishes? Would a child then begin to think? And would his reflection lead to correction? How great are the prospects that help—perhaps even repeatedly given—without necessary enlightenment, without the required consequences, and above all without self-knowledge on the part of the one who caused the situation, will bring about change? You can give yourselves the answer.
Your “winter coat” concerns Me too, for I gave it to you, and I too suffer with you when you are freezing in the cold; and when it is possible for Me—because you allow it—I mend it as well. But in all this I always keep the welfare of your soul and your return home to Me in view.
My love gives My children every support so that what is to be learned can be learned during their time on earth. My support is infinitely greater than you can ever comprehend. A large part of it takes place in the invisible realm, for there I prepare the paths, and My outstretched hand is there again and again when a child, having recognized wrongdoing, comes to Me and asks Me for help.
In this way I guide My child; I call this indirect guidance, which takes place through the law of cause and effect. But there is also direct guidance, and between these two widely separated poles there are many, many gradations, which I will not discuss individually here. But I will give you an image for this too:
You are standing in a forest clearing; various paths lead into the forest, eventually to end somewhere out in open country. One of these paths is easy, or at least the least difficult; in any case it is the one best suited to your possibilities, your physical condition, and so forth—in the figurative sense, to the condition of your soul. I want to lead you onto this one path, while respecting your free will. I give you impulses, nudges, and indications of many kinds, and whoever allows himself to be guided will not have to make too many detours in order to reach the open ground.
But what happens if a child disregards all My indications and seeks his own path? One of My possibilities is to block these paths or, at least once enough experience has been gathered, to let them merge into an easier path. These are the situations in your life when you ask why this or that is not allowed to happen, or not happen immediately, why you are blocked everywhere precisely in the things you would so much like to have. Have you ever considered that it may be I who is trying to prevent you from taking a path that is much more strenuous than the one I intended for you? This is My indirect guidance. But because the human being has free will, he nevertheless remains free to try out every path. Often the forces of darkness describe them to him as the fulfillment of happiness, as paths that satisfy his senses, promise power, offer distraction and pleasure—superficial and short-lived, as will later become apparent—and much more. The human being has the free will to explore every path, but there may be paths among them that are very long and not very easy to travel. Yet they are always paths that he has chosen or that correspond to his understanding of life and “love.”
When—if it must be so—I block paths for My children behind which they believe their bliss lies, I nevertheless do not thereby interfere with their free will. For your true will—your desire that is anchored for eternity deep within your souls because you are from Me—I know that desire. It is: “Father, You are my eternal home, and I want to return to You.”
Every child without exception carries this desire within, even if he is not, or not yet, conscious of it. To fulfill this desire—that is what My love is about. With My never-ending support, this return journey should begin here on earth, under circumstances I have intended for My children: in freedom, without fear, full of trust, and also in a material environment that enables each one to experience “a little piece of heaven” already here. For I take nothing away from My children; on the contrary, I want them to share in the fullness I have intended for all. In this way even here a small paradise can arise; and it has already arisen within and for those who understand how to distribute the weight rightly between the needs of the soul and those of the human being.
I bless you and all My beloved children in the material worlds and the realms beyond, and with My blessing light flows into every soul, making it easier for you to make your decision. And truly, I tell you, countless of your brothers and sisters who were and still are in your midst have made their decision. They have opened their inner eyes; they have recognized the hands extended toward them in help. They have taken those hands, and they have set out on the path of light.
I will not rest until all are on this path. This is My brotherly promise, I who am the love within the Father. Amen.
