Divine Revelation
My beloved, today I want to be the first in your circle to take the floor. I, the love within the Father, who dwell within you, who burn within you, and whose desire is to bring you all home again, am in your midst.
Out of love for God you have gathered in this circle and opened your hearts. You sang, “I envelop you in love,” and truly, I tell you: each one of you is enveloped in My love—in a love that is eternal, that makes no demands, that gives and gives. This love is unspeakably close to you because it burns as God’s light in every human being. You therefore need only go within in order to be home. Yet at the same time I am also everywhere My own gather in My name. Therefore do not merely believe it, but know and feel it: I am in your midst!
The light of heaven fills this room, and whoever raises his heart to Me can be touched by Me. And when you, and you, and you, My child, come very close to Me, you will feel My touch; for there is no more intimate connection than the one between Me and you.
I have often enlightened you about the power of thoughts. A prayer deeply felt and spoken from an honest heart unfolds all its power when it is spoken to Me. And everything founded upon love is directed to Me! I want to encourage you to let your prayerful thoughts rise from your hearts and place them into the circle; not merely in belief, but in the unbreakable knowledge that I am the One who strengthens your prayers, fills them with His energy of love, and directs them where they are needed as an uplifting power. So give your hearts a nudge and enter into our wonderful connection. Amen.
Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, My following word of revelation will answer many of your spoken and unspoken thoughts and questions. For I will speak to you about how you become fishers of men. Your Scripture says that I used these words in reference to Peter, who—as I walked this earth as Jesus of Nazareth—stood at My side as one of My trusted friends and disciples.
But this address did not refer only to one particular person; it addressed all those who, through a corresponding life led in the spirit of love for God and neighbor—that is, practiced, lived love—felt connected with Me. To be a fisher of men means something different from what is commonly understood by “missionizing.” Fishers of men show their neighbor, through their example, the way to God—to God within the human being.
You live in a difficult time that will become much more difficult still. People will no longer have any support; they will be afraid, they will despair, and in their distress seek solutions of many kinds. But whoever does not seek the solutions with Me will not find them. Who is to bring unenlightened humanity onto the path of truth? Who is to help it? Who is to be its guide and stand by it with counsel and action, if not those who have raised their hearts to Me in love and who have already walked part of their life’s path with Me—who therefore have had experiences with Me? Those who have come from belief to knowing?
They are the ones who appear credible, in whom one senses that their trust is founded in Me, and that they do not speak from the head but from a loving heart.
Fishers of men are all those whose hearts are aflame with longing for Me. Into such hearts I can radiate. Such hearts I can move to regard their life as a learning process that I accompany. In such hearts love for Me and for their neighbor will grow. People who have taken these steps toward Me feel My power spreading more and more within them, making them strong but at the same time also making them humble, so that they recognize: a true task in love of neighbor consists in serving!
I am the greatest Servant of My creation! And since I have placed My love within each of My creatures, within every creature there also lies the desire to serve and help likewise and thus to bring home again what temporarily seemed lost. The task of a fisher of men is therefore not fulfilled by an elite group, by select leaders, religious communities, or church organizations, but by everyone who loves Me and who sooner or later feels within himself the desire also to help his neighbor.
What, then, distinguishes a fisher of men? Feel within yourselves and compare the human being you are today with the one you were many years ago, bound up in your worldly striving, without knowing about Me. What has changed? Has not your trust in Me and in My guidance grown? Do you not increasingly feel sheltered in Me? Have your hearts not become more peaceful? Are you not ready to extend the hand of reconciliation? All of this characterizes people who have begun to include Me in their daily lives. Your understanding of your neighbor has grown, as have your love and your mercy. All these are qualities of My fishers of men; they are changes in your character, in your soul, for which it is worthwhile to “work” a little in order to acquire them. This, however, requires your decision.
Fishers of men are not distinguished by loud and grand words, by power games, by display, by actions aimed exclusively at success, by intrigues, by theories, by the splendor they acquire in the world, or by courting recognition. Fishers of men are free, for they live in My freedom!
On the way to Me each one of you is in the position of a student and at the same time in that of a teacher. What you have learned with My help, what negative things within yourselves you have already overcome, is what you can build upon. In these points you have already become a teacher from being a student. Certainly there will continually be something to learn on your path to Me, but you may and should rejoice in what you have already learned; and you may and should pass this on to your neighbor in the way that befits a child of God.
I see the good will in the hearts of so many of My children. I see their love; but I also see their question marks when again and again they stand before their own obstacles and blockages. I teach you the path to My heart in every detail. So the point is to recognize what, despite all your good intentions and all your good will, prevents you from putting into action what you resolved to do. The path to My Fatherly heart necessarily leads through self-knowledge; after self-knowledge comes the decision, and after the decision comes the somewhat—I put this in quotation marks—“more difficult part,” for now comes the work, the inner work.
Yet this is work you do not have to accomplish alone—indeed, cannot accomplish alone—but in which I am at your side. And so together, step by step, we walk the path back to the eternal home. Do not look ahead and wonder how long this path may be, but limit yourselves to what I show you in daily life. And do not look back either and dwell on the difficulties behind you. If you want to look back, then do so in order gratefully and joyfully to remember the small and great successes we have worked out together, and also to draw strength from them for your next steps.
A fisher of men—if I may remain with an image—is comparable to a physician. And many of you will recognize yourselves in what I now set before you:
Put yourselves in the position of a physician who has a patient before him. Did I not say: the sick need the physician? So it is sick people who come to the physician, describe their suffering to him, and ask for help. Transfer this image to your neighbor at work, in the family, in the neighborhood, wherever it may be. If you have the desire to become fishers of men, then you are in the same situation as a physician who must now prescribe the right medicine to the sick person who came to him or was led to him.
Can you imagine a physician—in his thoughts, within himself—judging the patient sitting before him, perhaps even condemning him for what, in his opinion, caused the illness? Can you imagine him smiling condescendingly at the person seeking help, treating him from above, or not taking him seriously? A physician who does this has no chance of truly helping his neighbor; for his eyes, indeed his whole inner feeling, are constrained. He draws energy by devaluing his neighbor instead of selflessly passing on My energy of love.
If you have the desire to become fishers of men, then apply this image to your own behavior. If you find something and realize that you may be treating your neighbor in the same or a similar way to what I have just described, then stop and make yourselves aware: You can help your neighbor only if you strengthen the positive sides within him! You cannot help him if you think or speak negatively about him! This does not mean that you should close your eyes and ears to what actually shows itself. But the great secret lies in the ability to see and hear—and still to love! This is what I want to lead you to learn!
Whatever your neighbor does: he is My son, My daughter, your brother, your sister. If you want to help your neighbor, then help him through your example, help him through your prayers, through your blessing, through your love; but do not strengthen through your thoughts or words what still exists in your neighbor and is meant to be transformed into what is good.
Whoever wants to become a fisher of men must first of all—and this is an indispensable prerequisite—have walked part of the path himself. I have told you repeatedly: whoever wants to become a lifeguard must first learn to swim! That is not selfishness. From the experiences you have then had with Me, you will be able to help your neighbor in the right way; not by overwhelming him with words or writings. On the contrary, you will learn to be silent at the right moment and to say the right thing at the right time. Or even to do it.
This is how a fisher of men acts when he is commissioned by Me.
If My words have spoken to you, if your heart is burning, then come to Me and give Me your yes. And I will transform you; I will be there when you transform your neighbor, and together we will change the world.
There is, My beloved, no other path than the path of love lived out. You need no membership, you need no techniques, you need nothing except the knowledge and the desire: I—your God—am within you, and I transform you and you and you, if that is also your desire! What happens then? Do not concern yourselves about it. Do not become fixed on any results. I am the director, and I will lead to you the people who are ready for you—and for whom you are ready—according to the saying: When the student is ready, the teacher comes. But also think of the converse: only when the teacher is ready do the students come. This corresponds to My immutable law of attraction.
I envelop you in My infinite love, which now, in this moment, flows through you, touches every cell of your body, and brings life and joy into every fiber of your soul. I am the love that guides each one. I am the love that waits for you with outstretched arms, that waits for everyone and calls to each one: “Come, My child, come, and bring along those who likewise have the desire to come to Me.”
My blessing rests upon you all. Amen.
Divine Revelation
I stand in blessing over this room, and in blessing I spread My hands over you, over this city, over this country, over this earth, over My whole creation. You have spoken about blessing, and you have worked out that to bless means to let My love flow forth.
So now let yourselves be seized by My love. In this moment My eternal brotherly love flows into you from My heart, from My hands.
Let go of everything. Direct all your inner feelings toward Me, toward the eternal, glorious life that flows through everything, sustains everything, and will draw everything back to itself.
Eternal, powerful light of love penetrates you. It is love that wants to transform you and that will transform you if this is also your desire. Love that I cannot describe to you in words.
It receives you, My child, just as you are, with all your faults, with your weaknesses, with all your distress and fears. It takes you into its protection, and this protection says: “Never despair. You are loved.”
Come into this inner feeling again and again. Let us become one. Allow your inner being to expand. If you want to shed tears—whether tears of love or joy or of being deeply moved—then do so.
I am closer to you than anything else. Whenever you wish, you can experience moments such as this one.
I stroke your hair; I kiss you. I, love, embrace you. Everything is good.
You too pass this blessing on in this form to everyone you meet. And together we will bring light into this world. Amen.
(A personal note: Unfortunately, the words express only very inadequately what was truly impressive about this brief address. The “dense atmosphere,” the immediate vibration of love, the perceptible inner expansiveness—all this can only be felt inwardly. Words cannot come close to conveying it adequately.)
