Divine Revelation
Through your prayers you have built up a powerful energy, and some among you feel how this power pulses in the room. It is My love that fills this room and also radiates into your open hearts. I will accompany your prayers with My light and send this light precisely to where it is urgently needed. You know that I add My share, and so in this hour your world has become a little brighter.
My sons and daughters, you have recognized yourselves as My children, you have said yes to Me, and you walk your path at My hand. Many people on earth likewise believe in Me as their God, and yet the most varied opinions prevail about who or what I am. Whatever you may think—I tell you: I am entirely different! Your ideas and imagination will never be sufficient to recognize My nature, for your intellect is too limited to comprehend even a fraction of My true greatness and omnipotence.
I am who I am! I am everything, and outside Me there is nothing! But within Me is My entire creation.
The various beliefs about Me and My working all contain a greater or lesser amount of truth. There are those who see Me exclusively as the energy that sustains everything, the primal ground of creation, the Source of all being—an eternally animating stream. That I, the Creator, am beyond this still more for My creatures does not quite fit their view.
The energy that pours itself out eternally—the only “perpetual-motion machine” of infinity and eternity—this, My beloved, I am as well, but not only this. It is the impersonal side of My nature, which is eternally the life within every creature.
But because human beings find it difficult to believe in something impersonal and build a relationship with it, from time immemorial they have tried to form an image of Me; they imagined Me sitting on a throne ruling everything and gave Me a human figure. In this way they at least had something somewhat tangible to which they could turn.
Through Jesus of Nazareth I met this need of My children and brought Myself near to people—who until then had regarded Me only as an unmerciful God and punishing authority—as their heavenly “Father,” as a person to whom they could relate, who is nothing other than infinite love. But whether you call Me Father or give Me another name is not decisive for your path to Me. The only thing that is decisive is that you walk the path of love, in deed and not in word.
Since I am the life within the entire creation, I manifest Myself—that is, I give Myself visible expression—wherever, whenever, and however it corresponds to My holy will. Indeed, the entire creation is an expression of My life. And in order to show Myself to My created children, all of whom are My children, and to foster their love for Me, I meet them in the person—in the manifestation—of the Father. This is My personal side.
My created children are My great joy, and out of this joy I gave each one free will, for I wanted no slaves; I wanted sons and daughters who in freedom turn toward Me, their life.
You carry creative powers within you, as I have often told you; creative powers that you can and should use in order to shape things—in free will.
Your free will, My divine gift to you, does however have a side, a “weak point,” that you also know, but about which relatively little is considered: it can be misused—and it is misused. The opposing side makes use of this aspect of your freedom by repeatedly trying to move My children to use their free will for decisions and actions that are not in harmony with My eternal law.
Every soul that enters the earth at its incarnation finds itself as a human being between two fronts: on one side are the forces of light, which try to inspire and move the human being; on the other are the forces of darkness, which want to seduce My children toward evil and burden their souls or prevent them from spiritual progress. Everyone lives within this field of tension. Very few are aware that this struggle exists at all, that they are involved in it, that both sides are quite literally courting them, indeed that in this conflict it is about them personally.
My goal is to let My children grow and mature step by step so that they come ever closer to their origin. The opposing side has a very different goal: it wants to prevent this growth. I once said that it is enough for it if you “remain the same old selves.” Truly, I tell you: That is not enough for Me! My desire and will is that you move.
The entire creation is infinite evolution. Everything is subject to constant change, uninterrupted progress. This too is something that exceeds your understanding. Life is movement. You have a saying: “Whoever does not move will be moved.” And I want to speak with you about what this means. For this I will make use of the insights of your physics.
To move or accelerate a mass—whether small as an atom or great as a star or, with a smile, alive as a human being—requires energy acting upon that mass. The force must be correspondingly great; otherwise nothing happens and the impulse dissipates. But mass is inert, which means it resists every attempt to change its state. The strength of the force acting upon the mass determines the strength of its movement or acceleration. Likewise the magnitude of the resistance determines whether a change can take place or not.
Transfer this image into the spiritual realm. Darkness is concerned that no movement or acceleration take place in My children. You know the image of Jacob’s ladder leading to heaven. In this image, the comparison with mass means: no movement = standing still on the rung where you presently are. The forces of darkness therefore do everything they can to maintain this condition, which at times resembles rigidity.
How do they do this? They make you sluggish, both in the soul and—as a consequence—often in the body. In doing so they make use of the faults and weaknesses still present in the human being, for otherwise they cannot reach you! They have no other way to make their whisperings heard! They paint colorful pictures for you, address your wishes and interests, offer you alternatives, make many things attractive to you, encourage your human inclinations, strengthen your correspondences, and much more. Do not underestimate their cunning! Often enough My children fall for these temptations, for they do have free will. Only in the rarest cases are they aware that on such occasions they are being incited and seduced to use part of this free will for decisions that correspond neither to My will nor to the desire of their spiritual nature.
In this way impulses and suggestions I give are intercepted because the human being is too sluggish and in such moments stands more strongly under negative influence than under the protection of My light.
But I will never interfere with the free will of one of My creatures! The correction of wrong conduct will—if called for and necessary—take place anyway through My law of love of sowing and reaping. My Fatherly enlightenment also does not mean that each person may not make the decisions he considers right. Often precisely such decisions are necessary so that afterward, through the effects, the error can be recognized and something different done in the future. My love supports all learning and effort. My words are intended merely as guidance, which those will receive and heed who take seriously the dangers that lurk in the invisible realm.*)
I have often pointed out to you how subtle the methods of your adversary and Mine are. And I want to give you an example of his cunning so that you are and remain watchful.
If he wanted to seduce you into walking a stretch from A to F to a certain place—which, with a “clear mind,” you would probably reject because your conscience would immediately “sound the alarm”—his undertaking would most likely not succeed. What does he do instead? He divides the distance into small sections and shows you the way from A to B, which does not look so dangerous and which one can calmly try just once. You quickly become accustomed to the new situation, and then comes the suggestion to take the next step from B to C, then from C to D, and so on until eventually you have nevertheless arrived at F. What is happening invisibly around you in the process, you have no idea.
And without noticing it, in your daily life and behavior you have acquired something that no longer corresponds to your longing, which was originally directed toward Me. You have taken on new habits and feel “at home” in them. There is no movement, or only slight movement, in the spiritual sense, and the impulses I give often strike emptiness. The mass that is the human being has become inert; the next rung of Jacob’s ladder waits in vain for the pending step.
This happens in infinitely many situations of your life and is prepared so cleverly and presented so skillfully that the human being scarcely or not at all perceives it.
This is how the opposing side proceeds.
And now I want to tell you how I proceed; for I am love, and love is the strongest force, and nothing can resist it forever, not even the most skillfully contrived seductions of darkness.
Many times during the day I speak within you, give you guidance, advice, help through encounters. I radiate into your thoughts, into your conscience, and I strengthen the longing within you so that your love for Me and your neighbor awakens more and more. If you are watchful, the effect of this power of Mine—if you allow it—is greater than every countermeasure and will thus gradually overcome your inertia. With every overcoming you climb one rung higher on your Jacob’s ladder. It becomes brighter around you, you become freer, and you experience that there truly is nothing stronger than love.
In your efforts I am at your side. I guide your thoughts, words, and actions, hold My hand over you, am the good and the light in everything you do. In this way your trust also grows, and you begin to understand what it means: Trust in and toward God, my Father, arises from the sum of my experiences that I have with Him day by day.
The chances of darkness to keep you in your inertia diminish more and more, for—as has been said so often already—darkness must give way before the light.
Many of My children do not perceive My impulses, My admonitions, and do not take My words seriously. They remain in their condition, to the great delight of the opposing side. But, My beloved, I am also wisdom. And therefore I have provided many paths to set a child in motion. If nothing helps, if a child threatens to go under in the effects of the harvest it has itself brought in, then, for example, a power can come into play that sooner or later moves everyone to reflect and turn back: the law of sowing and reaping begins to show its first effects, in the worst case a stroke of fate that sets movement in motion.
Many of My sons and daughters do not understand the law of cause and effect as an expression of My love because they do not know the connections. Yet its sole purpose is that My child overcome inner and, if necessary, outer inertia and come to reflection. When this happens, I stand before him with open arms and a smile and say: “Rejoice, My child. You have taken your next important step toward Me. Do not stop. Let Me into your heart. Let Me not merely accompany your future path through life, but take it over as your guide.”
My sons and daughters, I came into the world as Jesus of Nazareth to help love break through. I came to break the power of darkness, to end rigidity, and to initiate the movement of each individual into the light. I conveyed to human beings and souls the necessary strength for their decisions and actions; and I ask you, as I have so often: “Give Me your yes, which is equivalent to surrender to Me, love. Grow into a development you cannot yet imagine. Grow into your freedom and thereby take possession of your divine inheritance.”
What has been said also applies to you souls who are gathered here in numbers beyond measure. Allow yourselves to be moved and pay attention to what makes you sluggish. For the path into the light lies before you too. You too must make the same decisions as My human children. The only ones who do not need to make this decision because they have made it are your brothers and sisters in the purely spiritual worlds. With joy they let themselves be carried forward and upward by the stream of life because they know that everything is growth, clarity, and consciousness.
Think wisely about My words. Do not dismiss them as abstract, for the struggle takes place in your daily lives—in your families, at your workplace, in your surroundings. Pay attention when the opposing side tries to introduce a new habit into your conduct, and remember who you are: sons and daughters of heaven, whom I once again equip with My blessing. With this blessing My power flows into everyone who hears or reads My word and strengthens you for the path that lies before you. My love fills your hearts and lets your longing grow and grow.
