Divine Revelation
My beloved, I place today’s revelation under the words: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
I am the sole Creator of all that was, all that is, and all that will be! I am the source of all life! And I am love. Let these words fall deeply into you. Try, as far as you are already able, to understand what they mean when you make this fact the basis for viewing everything that happens; above all the many events, the straight and winding stretches of your path, and the countless situations of your life that you have often faced with amazement, but also often with doubt and lack of understanding, and still do.
Because I create out of My love, everything created also carries My love within it. This is a statement you are not hearing for the first time, but which only very few of you can even begin to grasp in its scarcely imaginable greatness and depth and ultimately in its consequences.
Because I am love, I gave each of My children free will as the most beautiful and greatest gift for its eternal existence. And I will never, under any circumstances, touch that free will! For those among you who have retained the gift of thinking along and thinking further, this should raise the question of how I made sure that misuse of free will would not inflict irreparable damage upon the original harmony, damage that would ultimately have to lead to destruction or produce permanent chaos.

Most of you regard your earth, and with it the material universe, as the center of My creation. You may be surprised — and here too I repeat Myself — to learn that it was never My intention to bring a material creation into existence. It is the consequence of the rebellion and eventual falling away of part of the spiritual beings of the heavens. Had there been no “setting oneself against My will,” there would be no realms outside heaven and no matter. And no human beings either, for then you would all still be angels …
The beings of the heavens live in absolute harmony with My laws, whose foundation is love. Because with their free will, in all their thinking, acting, and deciding, they move within the eternal laws, no “critical” situation can arise; especially since everyone knows about the fall of their spiritual brothers and sisters that occurred eons ago. A great number of your heavenly brothers and sisters are involved in bringing back into the heavens those living in the depths, in isolation, and in darkness, including those who are in zones not so far away and poor in light, yet still outside the heavens.
Where the laws of love are observed, therefore, there is no reason whatsoever to think in any way about “What if …?” or even to act accordingly. But where and when this does not happen — that is, when an action is carried out that does not correspond to My love — you are very quick to attribute human behavior to Me, although I, as God, am without beginning or end, while the human being appeared on the scene only much later as a consequence of the fall of the angels.
As a rule you know only one way to respond to a violation of law: with prohibitions, condemnations, and punishments. I chose another way, because your measures do not fit My understanding of love; a way that does not “call the originator to account” as you understand it. Yet it nevertheless ensures with absolute precision and without error that every guilt is recognized and made good, and that in this way the original state of harmony, peace, and brotherly and sisterly unity is restored:
My law of cause and effect — also called sowing and reaping — ensures that the consequences of disregarding My commandment of love sooner or later affect the originator himself, for they were set into the world by him and are therefore connected with him as energy; time plays no role in this. As long as a negative energy exists, which never dissolves by itself, “the matter is not over,” as you would put it. Not even after many thousands of years or even eons, and no matter how many incarnations have taken place in the meantime; for the negative potential created by his loveless action has literally “engraved itself” into his soul-body — through his own decisions.
This principle is part of My divine justice. On the one hand, it ensures that the originator ultimately comes to insight, though when he allows this process is subject to his free will; and on the other hand, it ensures that the scales of unity, accord, and harmony, thrown out of balance by a wrong action, are brought back into balance.
Here, in a few words, I have described to you a principle of My love that sounds dramatic to one person or another. And it is dramatic when you consider the great and greatest dimensions, for example the rebellion of the angels under Sadhana’s leadership and the Fall that followed.
But it also operates, far less dramatically, in the many small and often unnoticed areas of your life; it operates in everything you feel, think, say, and do. In the great majority of cases this will involve nothing earth-shaking, but that does not mean that things less earth-shaking — for example matters concerning your conduct in daily life, in marriage and partnership, at work, toward your neighbor, and so on — are excluded from this principle. Or expressed the other way around:
Everything that happens in the spirit of My love, which I brought close to you in detail through Jesus of Nazareth, has joy, fulfillment, peace of soul, health, and much more as its consequence; while conduct that — often without your noticing it — does not carry the spirit of My love within it influences more or less strongly the inflow of My love-life-energy, which sometimes immediately, but usually only gradually, brings with it an impairment of your quality of life.
There is therefore a direct connection between your thinking and acting and what manifests inwardly and outwardly during the course of your life. Yet — I emphasize this so that false and hasty conclusions are not drawn — this principle has many variations and must never be seen in black and white. An incarnation in itself brings many kinds of risks and dangers, critical situations, and surprising turns in your life that cannot readily be classified or explained by you. The satanic influence to which all of you are subject in matter plays a major role here.
But nevertheless this remains true: There is no chance, because nothing is governed outside My law, My order. And you should always be exceedingly watchful so that, on the basis of superficial observations, you do not rush to judgment or even condemnation, fall into feelings of guilt or resignation, or too quickly return to business as usual.

I have never left My children alone. Through the ancient prophets I admonished them and reminded them that I am their Lord and God. My addresses were always adapted to the consciousness of human beings and to their spiritual and soul development. Obedience to My commandments would have prevented a downward development in the relationship between Me and My human children.
Sadhana — who by then called herself Lucifer (1) — and her followers, after they had to recognize that they could not build a creation of their own, had a new goal: to prevent souls from finding their way back to Me and thus to unity. They succeeded to an increasing degree, so that I saw the necessity of intervening with a help that on the one hand made it possible for all who were willing to begin the return home to Me, and on the other hand put an end to the devilish undertaking:
I Myself — that is, the aspect of My love — entered the earth by incarnating in the human being Jesus of Nazareth, which required corresponding preparation with the assistance of countless faithful ones.
At the end of My physical life I brought all souls and human beings the so-called “Christ spark,” which is found as spiritual energy near the heart. Alongside My “impersonal” life-force, which sustains everyone eternally, it is an additional potential of power of which, however, very few people know and therefore make little use.
Through this Christ spark I became a brother to each of you, directly and immediately approachable at any time, without “detours.” It is true that I have always lived within you — otherwise you would not exist — but since Golgotha I have become “tangible” for everyone. A loving thought, a brief “turning inward,” a small thank-you, a remembrance of Me and of the fact that you are My child, an honest request, even a sigh that comes from an open heart — and already you are with Me (2). In that very moment! Truly, I am nearer to you than your arms and legs.
No one else can say this of himself. For no power other than Mine lives within you! Everything else comes from “outside,” something especially important to keep in mind when offers are made to you and teachings are served up that promise to make you a happier person and give you inner freedom without any effort of your own, without inner work.
I also came into the world so that human beings would know that they are not creatures of the earth but creatures of the heavens, and that they have an immortal soul that survives so-called death and continues to live in the subtle worlds of the beyond. Thus the spiritual being — that is, you yourself — continues to live, while the material covering needed for an incarnation is returned to the earth.
All souls outside the heavens, whether incarnated or not, have the same goal, whether they know it or want it or not: to return home and find their way back into My arms; for I do not lose what I once created. Thus they still have a path before them, which may be short or long depending on how far the individual has developed. The sole measure of this development is love.
I taught and lived this love as Jesus of Nazareth. In doing so I marked out the way and walked it to the bitter end. In this respect I am the way for all who decide to do as I did and thereby begin following Me. Yet once again, and if necessary again and again, I emphasize that there is no other way than the way of love lived out. You know that your effort is enough for Me. And that everything else is only decorative accompaniment which, at best, can help strengthen your inner being and make your steps easier. For if you are serious, those steps require your “whole human self.” They begin with self-knowledge, followed — depending on the seriousness of the offense — by remorse, then the decision, and finally implementation.
Because no other way leads back to the eternal home, no matter what else you are taught or what is made appealing to you, this is the one unshakable truth that applies to everyone. It is My truth, lived before you in Jesus Christ, and it remains valid until the last one returning home has found the way back into the heavens. Then there will be no further need for development toward love, because everyone will once again have become pure, selfless love.
Then at the latest, My beloved, every being will experience what it means to live — experience it again, for knowledge of it was only buried, not lost. It will experience life in boundless freedom, in light, in harmony with all, in unending joy and a bliss no human being has ever known. Then your true life begins, the life I had already opened up within Myself as Jesus and about which I spoke in many images. And therefore I could say, “I am the life.” What you regard as life in matter when things are going well and you are content cannot even remotely be compared with what awaits you later. It is not even a faint reflection …

When your Scripture says that no one comes to the Father except through Me, after My explanation it should have become clear what is meant: no one can enter heaven who has not once again unfolded love within himself. For here too, as everywhere, like attracts like and unlike repels unlike.
If and because love lived out is the decisive criterion, this truth can also be reduced to the brief formula already mentioned so often: love — and nothing else! Admittedly, that is easier said than done. But because all souls and human beings carry the Christ spark within them, it is no longer impossible. In any case there is no other way.
When your soul — provided it has already developed the corresponding consciousness — is confronted after laying aside your body with the deeds and omissions of its “former” human self, you yourselves will recognize what fostered the necessary strength of soul for the next steps of development and what did not. No judgment from a higher authority is needed. You yourselves will be the ones who, with the help of your spiritual friends, including your guardian angel and under certain circumstances even your dual, take stock (3).
It will also become clear to you that knowledge and various spiritual exercises did not truly move you forward and do not do so. Reading or studying sacred writings may indeed form a basis for a decision, but it never replaces the action that must follow. When you truly practice putting your knowledge into action together with Me, all theoretical instructions may have been helpful, but they fade because they are replaced by practice.
Then you become examples through your lives, something you do not achieve by quoting Bible passages — however correct and important they may be — or by reading wisdom books of various kinds.
I give you an image: Every soul, whether incarnated or not, has a goal, whether it knows this or not. In that respect it is like a hiker on a long journey. But unlike a hiker who correctly follows his route description, map, or compass and thereby reaches his destination without great difficulty, this is not the case with soul and human being. Many, perhaps most, know the commandment to love God and one’s neighbor that I proclaimed as Jesus, but applying it in daily life is a very different matter. Making things more difficult is the fact that quite a few of your theologians and teachers of Scripture consider consistent implementation in daily life impossible.
But because the hiker does not act according to his knowledge, he continually strays from the path. Every one of you, provided you want to walk the path of effort with Me and are watchful toward yourselves, sooner or later senses whether you have left the path and perhaps even become lost. This reveals itself through many kinds of circumstances, which differ for each person. Dissatisfaction, unrest, fear, superficiality, and much more belong to these signs. In order to find the right route again, looking back can be very helpful. Then the “human hiker,” if he looks honestly, will find the point at which he left the path he had walked with Me until then and took smaller or larger steps to the right or left in self-will.
Whoever does not merely bear the name “Christian” but walks through life at My side — as well as he is already able — cannot avoid asking himself from time to time whether his conduct corresponds to what I taught. I know that many of you whom I regard as My followers do this. But you will also find that you do not always succeed in finding the reason or root for why you acted in one way rather than another.
One possibility is to make yourselves aware that whatever bothers, annoys, upsets, or perhaps even makes you aggressive in another person is also present within yourselves in the same or a similar way. If that were not the case, you would indeed register what your neighbor says or does, but it would no longer evoke negative reactions within you.
But there is another possibility as well, and perhaps you will be surprised that you did not think of it yourselves.
I said at the beginning that where peace, harmony, concord, and selflessness prevail, and where the law of love is lived, there are no negative effects whatsoever, indeed there cannot be because the conditions for them are absent. As an example I showed you in broad outline the life in the heavens.
On earth and also in the astral realms, negative effects inevitably occur. Each of you can, as you say, “sing a song about it,” for no earthly life proceeds without disturbances of many kinds. But at the same time this means that a corresponding seed must have been sown, whenever and wherever, for without such a seed no corresponding harvest occurs. It is true that it is difficult, and very often impossible, to infer the seed from the harvest; but the fact that there must have been a seed remains, and is almost never considered or is ignored.
The point of this consideration is not to hold up a mirror to you or even to point out your faults without your asking for it or wanting it. You have free will, and nothing is farther from Me than exerting pressure of any kind on My human children. Whoever lives with Me and has had experiences with Me knows that nothing of that kind will ever come from My side.
But for those among you who strive with Me gradually to recognize and lay aside their faults, knowledge of these connections can be worth its weight in gold. This does not concern only an action that does not fit My commandment of love. The inner feelings, thoughts, and words that precede or underlie an action are what often cause you to leave the path. If you wish, give greater attention to these in the future than you have until now.
By prompting you to think about possible causes, I have placed in your hands an exceedingly important tool for insight. If it is your will to work with it, I will be at your side and with Me many of your spiritual friends and helpers. But the most important thing, if you want to set about changing this or that in your life, is this:
Take Me into your effort! Remind yourselves again and again that I live within you and no one else; and that I am waiting for you. Do not let yourselves be influenced by forces that have no interest in My children turning to Me and wanting to shape their future lives differently from before. Be cautious and examine what is offered to you from various sources, especially esoteric ones, as a way supposedly to lead a happier and less troubled life. A package does not always contain what the colorful, well-made wrapping promises. Not even when “Christ” is written on it.
To reconsider your life out of love for Me and then, with Me, to change what you recognize as needing improvement — that is inner work in its purest form. My joy over every child that decides to take such a step is more than great.

Your restless heart has sought God — and for years.
You looked around in many churches.
You traveled half the world in doing so.
No God to be found? Does He remain strange and silent?
You thought every teaching had to be tested.
They all admonished: Do this, do that.
You hurried to deepen every kind of knowledge.
Which direction can you rely on now?
My friend, you have gone so far and so often.
You searched afar, though He was so near.
Now listen: If you want to reach your goal,
go within — and you are already there.

(3) Who Will Come to Meet You?
No Peter will stand before you,
no horns will sound and no trumpets,
when you have left the earth behind.
You already sense it yourself: It cannot be like that.
You yourself scarcely trusted your pleading any longer.
Perhaps your illusion has already faded?
What will be your new home over there?
Who will administer justice to you?
Who will come to meet you? Who invites you? Where do you go?
Whatever you encounter: it is your life,
your yes, your no, your taking and your giving.
And suddenly — unwillingly? — you are right in the middle of it.
