Divine Revelation (in response to some of our prayers)
Without interrupting your circle of prayer, I nevertheless want to answer your prayers, which touch on a very important, central subject: putting My teaching of love into practice in everyday life, because only in this way can things in this world be changed for the better, both in personal and in social life. There is no other way to do this than the way of love.
I came into the world to bring the teaching of love, and at the same time I lived love before you. And many of those who followed Me in the decades and centuries afterward recognized that what matters is the p r a c t i c e o f l o v e l i v e d o u t, not the teaching as such.
Over the course of many centuries My teaching was “cleansed” of—indeed, robbed of—the instructions and aids for putting it into practice, and what remained was a theological structure behind which only very few still suspect that My teaching of love can change their everyday lives. Most believe there is hardly anything more they can or must do than belong to a religious community and follow its rules and regulations. To apply My teaching in daily life with the aim of changing oneself and thereby the circumstances of one’s life—hardly anyone thinks of this, because the necessary “tools” for it are no longer known.
This too is why I raise My word in this time: not only to enlighten and comfort you, to admonish you and proclaim My love, but to show you the steps by which things within you and around you can be changed for the better in this life.
So it is not only a matter—understand My humor—of securing a place in heaven and hoping for blessedness later on; rather, it is a matter of changing the circumstances of life on this earth, already during your lifetime, in relation to those you love, your acquaintances and friends, your colleagues, your neighbors, and everyone with whom you come into contact: showing them that love lived out is the only solution that leads a human being out of every dilemma, whatever its kind.
This presupposes recognizing your human weak points and then undertaking the work I call “inner work,” which is possible for everyone who knows My message. This inner work is the essential thing; for what you change within changes the circumstances of your life and those of your families, and little by little those of the society in which you live.
This is why you went into the world: to bear witness that a life practiced according to My commandments can bear good fruit here and now and is not to be understood merely as a promise for later. I take this opportunity, My friends, to remind you of this task: to be light in this world. To put it simply: with your knowledge of My laws of love, bring order, joy, and freedom into your lives, and you will become a contagious example. Amen.
Divine Revelation
So it is no mystery, My beloved children, to change and transform your life, the life around you, and far beyond. For wherever the law of My love is visibly carried into this world through My own, wherever it determines their thinking, speaking, and acting, there change must take place.
So see: stop searching for the key! How often, My sons and daughters, have I already placed this key in your hands—and will continue to do so? How much longer do you want merely to hold or carry it in your hand or pocket and fail to remember to use it when it should be put into the lock?
So much knowledge and understanding, My beloved, is in your hearts, and I ask you: put it into practice! Let it become action! Especially when you once again threaten to remain in the lowlands of human existence, remember that the key to well-being, the key out of your prison, lies in your hearts and in your hands—placed there by Me.
And when love has truly taken root within you through putting My law into practice, you cannot help but serve your neighbor in everything with which he meets you. For there is no love, no true love, without service to your neighbor and at the same time to My entire creation.
Humble service is one of the innermost and essential qualities of My divine love, which surrounds you here and now and flows through you. I, your Father, the primal Source of this love, have brought it from home, and it is in your midst; for where two or three are together in My name, where they lift their hearts and their gaze to Me, there My blessing is present and My holy light dwells in their midst.
So feel the blessing, feel My light within and around you and far beyond your small circle. It touches the whole earth, creation, and permeates with its glow everything dark, everything that longs for light, healing, and comfort. And know this: if you remain in this light, it will express itself in your life by blessing and transforming it.
This, My beloved, is My law; and whoever carries this certainty within also knows that it is the truth, truth from the Source that I am, here in your midst. Amen.
Divine Revelation
Once again, My beloved, I address My word to you and want to direct your attention to a particular aspect that was also part of your discussion.
You know that you are children of the heavens, clothed in a human body, yet within yourselves endowed with unimaginable powers that you are to develop so that, little by little, they shine from within through your human self and thereby illuminate the world.
I have often reminded you that you are love and that all your thoughts and striving should be directed toward becoming love again. But love, My sons and daughters, also contains freedom, and that is what I want to speak with you about.
If I were to ask you, My son, or you, My daughter, “Are you free?” then, looking at your outward situation, you would say, “Of course, Father, I am free.” But if this concept of freedom is now applied to the inner life and I ask you, “Are you free?” can you still say with a clear conscience, “Yes, Father, I am free”?
Most of My human children are not free. For freedom, as you generally understand it, is not the same as being able to move about outwardly however you wish or having and possessing everything a person thinks he must have and possess.
Truly, truly, I tell you: many a person sitting in prison, many a person lying in a sickbed, and many a beggar is freer than those who believe themselves to be free!
You know what I mean: true freedom is inner freedom! Whoever is truly free has released himself from attachments that others imposed upon him or that he imposed upon himself. Whoever is free has released himself from inclinations and compulsions, from insecurities and fears that, in the course of this life or earlier lives, became part of the burden of his soul. To be free therefore does not mean being able to do everything one feels like doing. To be free in Me means being able to do without what does not befit a child of God, without feeling deprived and without the non-fulfillment of these often compulsive wishes and ideas leading to dissatisfaction and frustration.
Examine your lives from this point of view, and you will find that there are many aspects of bondage that still determine your lives. But just as you are to grow into love, you are also to grow into freedom. For freedom is your inheritance. Only the one who is truly free in Me is f r e e.
Lack of freedom can be compared to a prison, even if it sometimes resembles a gilded cage. It is and remains an impairment of true freedom, whether that impairment is recognized or not. When it is recognized, the cry for help often aims at having someone please open the prison from the outside. But can the solution, the redemption, truly come from outside?
I tell you: “Everyone who sits in his prison has a share of responsibility for his situation!” He consciously or unconsciously accepted the disadvantages of his decisions, namely his lack of freedom. He often allowed himself to be bound far too easily and too quickly. This applies to countless areas of your life and your ego, from the appeal made to your lower instincts all the way to the flattery of your intellect.
Even where the true intentions—namely the creation of attachments—are disguised with religious or ideological aspects and therefore cannot, or can scarcely, be recognized, eventually leading to lack of freedom, there must be a weakness of soul in those who are bound. I have allowed such attachments and will continue to do so—because I am freedom and leave e v e r y child free, whether it stands on the side of light or darkness—because through this path too I can lead a child through self-knowledge into freedom. As sons and daughters of My love, which you are, you carry within you the power sooner or later to see through attachments of every kind and release yourselves from them with My power.
Yet however strong the walls of a prison may be or appear, I give you one unshakable rule: the lasting opening of your prison, the ending of your captivity, the release from your attachment never takes place from outside—it can take place only from within, through yourselves. Every lack of freedom has had as its basis a willing or unwilling decision of the person who became bound, with a few exceptions that do not call the principle into question. The “prisoner” must therefore always decide that he wants to end his lack of freedom. To remain with the image I have already given you: the key to your freedom must be put by you—from the inside—into the lock of the prison door that restricts your freedom.
So if you realize that you have allowed yourselves to be bound, or have bound yourselves, or have not opposed many temptations with the necessary seriousness or effort, then consider whether you truly want to become free in these respects. If your decision is “Yes, Father,” then come to Me with this attachment, and I tell you: “I, love, which is also freedom, will redeem you and free you from what still lies as a shadow upon your soul.”
Whatever circumstances of life you may then be in, in deep love for Me and in the knowledge that I live within you and guide your life, you will truly say: “Father, I thank You for the freedom You have given me.” Amen.
Divine Revelation
Whoever increasingly lives his life at My hand, surrendering himself to Me, to love that lives indestructibly within him, in that person I will rise. And he will be in Me and I in him. Thus, My beloved children, you become the bright flame that shines into all dark regions, illuminating the hearts of your fellow human beings so that they may recognize and turn away from the path that leads them astray.
I am your Lord and God. Everything is in Me, even if you cannot grasp it with your intellect. Outside Me there is nothing! Everything is sheltered in Me, and whoever is in Me knows that nothing he encounters is without meaning for his own healing and for that of his brothers and sisters.
I am the God of the West and of the East, I am the God of the South and of the North—thus I am the all-embracing Godhead from whom everything proceeded and proceeds, and toward whom everything outside the heavens will develop again. For all law is directed toward this one goal alone.
I long for each of you, whether you walk this earth in human clothing or dwell in the realms of souls. You are all sheltered in Me and may be certain: one day I will enfold every one of you in My arms again, for I am love, and outside My love there is nothing.
Be blessed and take the steps I show each of you—if he is willing and ready—indeed, the steps I place before his feet, so that each of you may grasp where his path leads. None of you is alone; I care for you. Be certain of this.
If you open your hearts and your eyes, then you will recognize My wisdom, My truth, and My love. I love you and accompany you, I, your heavenly Father. Amen.
