Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, because it is My endeavor that you once again become free children of My love who – figuratively speaking – can stand and walk upright, I will lead you a little more deeply into the meaning of “attachment.” Hidden behind it is a danger of which very few have any idea. If you learn to see through the game of the opposing side at this point, it will become easier for you, where necessary, to oppose its contrary striving with a “no.” Which at the same time means: You have become conscious of your inner strength and have acted accordingly.
It will be a great help to you if you strive to view every event and what it brings about from a spiritual perspective. This includes attachments, whose effects touch virtually all human beings and by which they are kept unfree. Behind them lies a cleverly devised method for making My human children stagnate in their development of soul, and it has been used since human memory began and in every field. This invisible binding has proved especially effective in the realm of religions, particularly because it is not only invisible but goes unnoticed by almost everyone. In most cases a person reacts to corresponding indications and explanations with contradiction and rejection; for those who have already learned to look more deeply, this is proof of how easily and unhindered attachments can engrave themselves into human consciousness.
Two thousand years ago I came into the world to show humanity, which was completely helpless and spiritually lost, the path that leads back to its heavenly home; and thereby into freedom, a freedom of which no human being has even an approximate idea. Since I am love, there can be no question that what has come forth from Me also possesses freedom, because love without freedom is not love.
This freedom, like My love, lives in you, and you, and you. It can already be regained to a great extent during your lifetime, but it reveals its full scope, its magnitude still unimaginable to you, only when you have returned to infinity.
During a so-called “near-death experience,” some of your brothers and sisters gained a glimpse not only of the love waiting for them, but also of an indescribable boundlessness of their eternal existence. This gave wings to their longing consciously to draw closer to their future goal; which at the same time means that during the lifetime still remaining to them they work more intensively with the “tool” that also secures their freedom: their effort to live My commandment of love in everyday life. Reduced to its shortest formula, it reads: love – and nothing else.
The plan of the opposing forces had to be changed because of My life, My example, and My “death” on Golgotha. For now the path was open for every human being and every soul that decided to return home to Me. This was to be prevented under all circumstances. It happened on the one hand through an intense persecution lasting many decades of those who professed Me, and on the other through a simultaneous alteration of My simple teaching, initiated in small and smallest steps.
The latter was, as I have already revealed to you, more effective than simply having human vassals subservient to darkness proclaim, “There is no God!” They would have failed with many people; for the longing within the human being – though unknown to him – which I placed in every creature would have caused many of My children to set out again and again in search of something higher and greater, the source of their life.
So darkness turned the “signpost to heaven,” My instructions for a life pleasing to God, by only a few degrees – and the greater part of humanity no longer reached the destination. But not only did they miss the goal: They were bound into a system of beliefs, regulations, and dogmas that had and have not the slightest thing to do with what I brought to the world.
Observing laws, commandments, and prohibitions invented entirely by human beings under the influence of negative forces, often with literal obedience, produced a bad conscience through threats of sinfulness and guilt – and thus a resulting “good behavior” toward Me. In this way believers thought they could do justice to My commandments, above all to My chief commandment of love of God and neighbor. And they still think so today …
In the process they can no longer recognize that they are being held in fetters and are no longer able to decide freely. If they nevertheless succeed in freeing themselves from the inner and outer gagging of various religious ideologies, other attachments of many kinds await them unnoticed. For most, freeing themselves from these as well is almost impossible; for by now there exists in your world a technological dependence that makes it difficult for you to recognize the task of your earthly life as learning the capacity to love. Countless distractions of an entertainment industry pressing into every corner do the rest.
Thus you have been and are being led into lack of freedom, into stagnation of your development of soul, crowned moreover by the mistaken view that you have done everything that belongs to being a follower of Christ – if that is how you see yourselves.
That, My beloved sons and daughters, is attachment in its purest form. It is the prevention of putting My teaching of love into practice “through the back door.” It is resistance and rebellion, a struggle lasting for eons, and cunningly laid traps lurk everywhere. For centuries these traps have led people to misunderstand My commandment of love and put My teaching into practice only in fragments. They have brought the development of soul of a large majority of My human children to a standstill. And not only that:
They have caused spiritual regression and, through ignorance or disregard of the law of sowing and reaping, brought about a catastrophic situation so that the hand of the clock has passed twelve, something I am not revealing to you for the first time.
The efforts to block an inner awakening, successful from the perspective of darkness, existed at all times. They reached a high point two thousand years ago. That was one of the reasons I decided, as love, to incarnate in the human being Jesus of Nazareth. The intentions of “high” spirit beings who before My time entered the flesh with the wish to teach people a different, peaceful way of living together likewise always became targets of satanic attacks and alterations.
And even after I had come and gone again, souls and spirit beings repeatedly entered incarnation who either, with My blessing and support, called people to follow My teaching of love; or who, from interests that were not selfless, pursued goals of their own in order to exercise power over people already during their lifetimes and later from the astral realms.
The instructions and rules of belief especially of the latter were characterized by the idea that in order to attain some form of future blessedness it is necessary to live within a framework of many commandments and prohibitions. If threats of punishment are connected with this as well, the believer inevitably falls into the snares of a lack of freedom that under some circumstances will not release him for many incarnations.
My teaching is love, and an honest effort to live this love leads just as inevitably into freedom! First and foremost it leads into an inner freedom that cannot be curtailed even when contrary, negative forces try to restrict outward freedom.

What I taught and did as Jesus was a revolution. Many may be surprised when I tell you that I brought no religion to earth. What I gave people was a new standard of conduct whose only “heading” was: love! In My time as Jesus there were already more than enough religions and worldviews. They were all characterized by forcing people into a corset of ideas that indeed gave their lives a new, often also more satisfying direction, but nevertheless did not lead them into the freedom I intended for them.
My teaching was and remains for all eternity a revolution in that it cleared away the idea that the human being could secure the grace of a “God enthroned in heaven” by practicing numerous commandments that reach deeply into daily life while at the same time strictly taking care not to violate an equally large number of prohibitions.
Do you sense in this structure that runs through all religions the restriction and control of believers, or followers of such views? Whoever does not keep to the rules must expect punishment for sinful behavior, in the worst case the “wrath of God.”
Which of all the many founders of religions spoke of Me as selfless and unconditional love? Who taught that love is at the same time freedom? Who enlightened people that I do not punish? Who conveyed to them the truth that the human being lives within the law of cause and effect? And that it lies in the person’s own decision whether he wishes to leave this law behind or not? Who made clear to people that they had allowed themselves to be gagged and bound by false teachers and teachings? Who showed them by his example that following My commandment of love – and nothing more – is to be regarded as the key to their freedom and the admission ticket to heaven? Who presented all outward things such as rites, traditions, veneration of saints, processions, ceremonies, cultic acts, magnificent buildings, and much more as unnecessary and therefore as not promoting the well-being and development of the soul?
I brought love to people in word and deed as the only path that leads back to My heart. In this way everything incomplete or false in the teachings that existed before Me and came after Me lost its importance.
I described your goal to you. Since then I have done so again and again and will continue to do so until even in the last person unwilling to understand, the longing for Me and his home becomes so great that he sets out on the journey home. Everything important has been said and written in the past. What lies unchanged before you is the end of the stretch of path on which you are all walking at present. Your progress is often arduous because you believe you must constantly fall back on explanations and interpretations by other people instead of simply walking in the direction in which I, as your signpost, pointed and still point. You read a thousand descriptions and indications … instead of setting out! What else do you lack?
If you were asked what you associate with the word “God,” would you have to fall back on statements and quotations from others who call Me the “heavenly Father, the source of all life, the Creator, salvation” and much more? Or are you already able, with a free gaze, a heart full of joy, and deep conviction to say: “For me, God is love without any ifs or buts!”?
With this consideration alone, which can be like a small task, you can determine how firmly the relationship between Me and you has already become established. You need no other question than this one to arrive at realization of your inner situation.
The way back to the origin of your eternal life with Me is the way of love lived out. It requires neither study nor repeatedly looking things up and reassuring yourselves again and again in old and new writings. As a reminder of Me, for inner edification, or as a start to your day, this can of course be strengthening. But take care that it does not become a substitute for a life with Me. For only through doing, meaning through practicing My commandments, are your faith and trust strengthened and protection against negative influences built up.
What was revolutionary was not only My teaching and My life. Something else was added, something that – unlike My followers in the first decades – you no longer experience as revolutionary because you know only a falsified and diluted teaching. Simple as the original of My teaching is, it is equally uncompromising in what it asks of the human being: to put My word into action! Only in this way is its “explosive power” opened up; only then does it become clear what potential for positive dynamism it contains.
Had this potential been released through application in everyday life, sooner or later it would have meant the end of the rule of evil.
I do not expect you to place yourselves inside the thinking of the forces of darkness in order to see through the approach they now had to plan and implement for the sake of their own survival. It is much simpler: Use your common sense, and you will easily recognize that the counteroffensive consisted in blocking the path marked out by Me, making it appear difficult to walk – too difficult to walk – and offering instead a “slimmed-down” version. From their perspective success was assured from the outset: People would prefer the easier path, supported by quite a few of your learned people who, among other things, consider My Sermon on the Mount impossible to put into practice and My demands too radical.
Very many of My human children who are still bound into one of the numerous church groupings have adopted this view, especially since they had and have scarcely any access to what I originally taught. Thus today nothing remains of the revolutionary character of My message. Instead, a practice has become established by which one can live as a “Christian” without causing much offense, without having to stand up, without having to fear being regarded as backward and out of touch with reality.
Today one can be a child of the world, agree with the guidelines this world sets, and nevertheless regard this as a way of life I taught. Very few are conscious that with such a view they bind themselves to the directives of darkness.
I did not say you should love a little. My teaching was – not only on this point – clear and unambiguous. It left and leaves no room for intellectual excuses or for searching for ways out that seem less demanding. Yet then and now I did not demand that the ability to love must be attained from one day to the next. As I have explained so often, your honest but steady effort is enough for Me.
In this way, step by step, you build up and expand your ability to learn to love Me and your neighbor, and ultimately yourselves as well; and at the same time the strength of your soul grows with every task you master. But – and this is decisive – you must not lose sight of your goal and be satisfied with having accepted and mastered this or that challenge. Learning to love is a lifelong process that does not end even when you close your earthly eyes; for your life does not end with what you call “death.” Evolution – and learning to love is part of it just like everything else – continues in the subtle worlds beyond.

Alongside the false guidance that leads you astray and binds you to ideologies of satanic origin, there is another form of restriction that is scarcely recognized because it has become a normality of your life.
In your part of the world today it is no longer dangerous to call oneself a Christian. But whoever believes that this has made it easier to walk the path with Me without attacks and temptations is greatly mistaken. The influence upon your inner feelings and thinking, which always form the preliminary stages of the action that follows, has merely become different and more subtle. Persecution and suffering are no longer the first means chosen by the opposing forces to hinder you in your development of soul. Your adversary and Mine still relies on binding you in many ways, only by different means. And he succeeds increasingly.
The fetters you have allowed to be placed upon you are of another kind. You have allowed yourselves to be bound into habits, patterns of behavior, lifestyles, goals, fears, and ideas such as “this is important and that is not,” which make it difficult for you to go through life as free children of My love.
You all know the saying, “Human beings are creatures of habit.” It expresses that many processes in your lives have become a thoroughly useful standard that enables you not to have to make new decisions constantly. That is sensible, but it can become a fetter gladly accepted by your ego because it keeps you on familiar and accustomed ground. This fetter becomes dangerous when it prevents decisions that – because you believe in Me and love Me – you would actually have to make differently from the way beloved habits dictate.
If, for example, you believe you cannot give something up or let it go because your happiness depends on it, you have very probably discovered the “hot trail” of an attachment. It need not necessarily be something great, something world-shaking that immediately calls the well-being of your soul into question. And yet you may have encountered something that binds you and – seen from a spiritual perspective – sooner or later must be laid aside if you want to reach your goal.
It is different when you are unwilling to accept a change demanded of you by what you call fate, which would more correctly be called something “made” by yourselves; when you refuse to accept circumstances that seem inappropriate and unpleasant to you for what they truly are: important stages on your path through life that serve maturing and learning.
Not without reason have I repeatedly pointed to the necessity of practicing letting go. If and because there is no coincidence, nothing happens “just out of the blue” without being intended for you – for the person concerned – in this way. Unless you still cling to the idea that in My creation something now and then nevertheless happens that escapes My control …
If you wish, venture a small experiment that can show you where more or less strong attachments are still present within you, even though this exercise cannot reflect the reality you will encounter if the event actually occurs.
Imagine having to give up habits or living circumstances that at present are still part of you and your everyday life. What inner feelings rise within you? Especially when they are serious matters whose loss under some circumstances would strongly affect your life? Can you already deal with that? Or does it “throw you off course”? Does it leave you discouraged and without drive for a long time? Does it cause you to doubt My justice and My love? Do fears spread within you that may paralyze you and rob you of your joy in life?
Whenever, My beloved, the idea of a loss of whatever kind is connected with fear, you can be certain that attachments are still present. That is nothing for which you should feel guilty or ashamed. Above all, it is nothing that should cause you to wonder what I now think of you; what I think of you, My child. I love you, regardless of what you are still like at present and what you still do or do not yet do.
But it can show you how far you have already grown into the inner freedom waiting for you. What you feel about the unavoidable end of your material life, incorrectly called death by you, can likewise tell you much about yourselves. If you have internalized My teaching and strive increasingly to intensify our relationship of love, corresponding fears will diminish more and more. Finally they make room for a joy directed toward a future life in light and peace.
If you have not yet come quite so far, you may recognize in this a still existing attachment to your earthly existence. It then does not yet appear to you as one of many stages on your path of development, but as something outwardly you want to preserve and cling to, so that your gaze does not yet look entirely freely and joyfully toward the time ahead.
The same applies to every kind of possession and goods you regard as your own. Being unable to detach yourselves from them in time, but clinging to them until the end so that dying has to force the process of release, means carrying this desire and striving into a life beyond, which then takes shape correspondingly heavy and unfree. That too, My sons and daughters, is attachment of the highest degree. If something like this happens, satanic forces have won this round …
But there are further rounds, even though this corresponds to My mercy but not to My wish for you. If there were no possibility of another earthly life or even several earthly lives, and if development of soul could not be accomplished far more quickly in the “crucible of earth” than in worlds beyond where everyone lives among his own kind according to his character, then a soul’s journey home would extend over many eons. As it is, My grace permits a soul among many other incarnated beings to recognize and cleanse itself and thereby become more filled with light and lighter, if it wishes.
And here, with all the opportunities for rapid growth that an incarnation offers, a problem comes into play that is scarcely known and therefore cannot be approached correctly: In many cases a soul brings into a new life the attachments that were not successfully worked on before, meaning transformed with My help. Precisely for this reason it enters the flesh again, so that step by step it can grow into the inner freedom of a child of God.
And then it encounters parents, friends, and teachers who are not much help in mastering this learning task; who cannot be of help because as a rule they themselves are bound and know neither the “rules of the game” nor the importance of releasing attachments; nor do they know that within the new citizen of earth lives a soul with a past, one that was by no means newly created by Me for this incarnation, as your theologians and Bible scholars claim. Yet it would be such an important task for parents to recognize attachments in their children early enough and gently and lovingly counter a development that at a later point can produce suffering and burdens on the soul.
Do you now recognize the danger of attachments? Do you also recognize the immeasurably vast extent of this seduction with which satanic forces have covered material creation and the astral realms, and which is ideological as well as quite “tangible” in nature? And do you also recognize the urgent necessity of going through the day vigilantly and not avoiding necessary self-knowledge?
Fear itself is also an attachment, and the strongest of all. Immediately in its wake come wanting-to-have and wanting-to-be. Fear moreover leads to new entanglements because with high probability it seduces you into decisions that are not necessarily in the spirit of My commandment of love. If that is the case, darkness has taken you under its wing, even if only in partial aspects, or bound you more strongly to itself. Conformity and feelings of inferiority also belong, among countless others, in the great pot of diabolical attachments. You will find many more if you examine human traits, especially your own, for their negative sides.
Whoever, prompted by My word of revelation, recognizes the importance of wanting to track down hidden attachments and release those already known should go within. I wait for him there. And then, My child, speak to Me as you would speak to a person you love. Beautifully formed words are of no importance. Let what moves you flow from your heart. One thing is absolutely certain, even more certain than the often quoted “Amen” in church:
I hear you! And not only that. I fulfill your request by coming a hundred steps and more toward you when and because, with a sincere desire for change, you have taken one step toward Me. In doing so you will discover that neither literal application of rules nor an elaborate technique is needed for the process of release and transformation to begin within you. Your effort to want to grow into inner freedom out of love for Me is enough. I prepare the steps necessary for this. And when, figuratively speaking, you set out, I am at your side.
All this and much more is contained in the simple word spoken from My divine authority and wisdom, which is completely sufficient for your journey home: love – and nothing else. With your rejection of ideological attachments still clinging to you, you also initiate the steps that follow: laying aside your all-too-human habits and weaknesses, provided you wish gradually to free yourselves from them in a “healthy process of detachment” – and not in fanaticism! For when it becomes clear in the depth of your consciousness that your present earthly life is only the blink of an eye in eternity because you possess eternal life, it will become much easier for you together with Me to shape the existence ahead of you – in freedom and dignity, in deep trust, and full of courage and clarity.
