Divine Revelation
My child, if I ask you what I am to you, whom or what you see in Me, you will answer: “You are the Creator, You are God, You are the source of all life.” If you can also say: “You are my Father,” then you have already recognized Me with your heart. And if the inner feeling rises within you: “You are everything to me,” then we have already found an intimate connection with one another, which I will strengthen further so that never again can the feeling arise within you of being abandoned or separated from Me.
And if I now ask you further: “Who or what are you?”, what will your answer be? You are surprised by this question? Then let us consider what lies behind it. Perhaps you will be astonished by the connections that emerge from answering this question. No less interesting, however, is the fact that from your behavior in everyday life, from the way you deal with your neighbor and with yourself, you can tell whether your answer is also consistent. For if it is, then the opposites that still exist between “inside” and “outside,” between what you are and what you strive for—what you therefore endeavor to live—will dissolve more and more.
By now you know that I am the origin of everything that is. And you also know that I am love without any limitation, and that I live in everything. This also means: I live in you! Some people are all too readily and quickly inclined to affirm this word with a nod of the head. They are often not clear about what this fact means for them. It represents an important key not only to better understanding, but also to solving human problems and difficulties.
For if My love-power, which has no equal, is within you, no outer exertion, no rituals, no exercises or any psychological techniques are required in order to come into contact with it: find your way into stillness, close your eyes, open your heart and let it speak—that is enough! Above all, it saves you from a long search and from entering many, often false paths that prove to be dead ends. And it protects you from accepting proposed solutions from non-divine sources that either do not contain the truth or do not truly lead to the goal.
The knowledge that I am in everything was no longer present in the followers of the fallen angel, who later called himself Lucifer, after they left the heavens. Lucifer wanted—as your Scripture expresses it in simple words and figurative description—to “be like God.” He was the substitute god of those who obeyed him. Those who left the eternal home therefore no longer knew of the indestructible connection to the true source of life that they carried within themselves. The illusion “there is no other God,” and finally “there is no God,” was complete, although this separation never existed, because nothing and no one can separate itself from the one who is life. For I do not let go of what I have created and love!
This feeling of a false independence was maintained and intensified over eons, with the consequence that the “inner distance” between Me and the fallen ones became so great, and they became so poor in energy, that a supporting power was needed so that they could have the possibility of beginning the journey home to the Father’s house once more. With the aspects of My love I incarnated in the human being Jesus of Nazareth.
With this the Fall was stopped, the heavens were “opened again,” an additional energy in the human being—the Christ-spark—gave strength and support to the human being; and I once again brought the knowledge that I live within the human being. Early Christianity became a living proof of the presence of My love-power and of what it can bring about in people who live with Me.
The forces of darkness had no influence on what I accomplished. But they could do something else, and did it: figuratively speaking, they twisted the “signpost pointing toward heaven”; only a few degrees were enough, and because it happened step by step, it was not recognized. In this way My teaching was altered, with the result that hardly anyone now knows that he carries within himself all the power he needs to fulfill the law of love for God and neighbor. I was moved “upward” into distant heavens whose abstract descriptions no one understands; and this not infrequently leads—even among those who call themselves Christians—to questioning a life after this earthly life and even heaven itself.
The distortion of My teaching inevitably brought with it the loss of the knowledge that the human being carries within himself an indescribable divine power that can change him and his surroundings toward the positive, the good and the beautiful—provided he knows of it and decides to “work” with it.

I return to the question I asked at the beginning: “Who or what are you?” Even if your reason, after all you now know, tells you that you are a child of the heavens, this does not necessarily mean that this knowledge already determines your daily life to a greater or lesser degree. It may already be so; then we can both rejoice over it. But if it is not yet as your soul desires, then let us speak about how you can correspond step by step to your soul’s longing.
Beyond knowledge, the fact that I love you and that you too—in the deepest part of your immortal being—love Me infinitely must lead to true realization, to an awareness that permeates you completely. You must—and here lies the subtle difference from certain teachings carried from the invisible into your visible world—not only recognize that you are not a creature of this world; you must not only become aware that you carry an eternal existence within you, but you must look at and put into practice the conclusions for your life that follow from this—if you freely wish to do so, which softens the “you must” somewhat with a fatherly smile. Without doing this, you will remain stuck in the trap of realization, for this realization leads you into a dead end.
The knowledge that you are love will not help you by itself either, if it does not give rise to the desire that My love and yours may be reunited as soon as possible. You are love, My child! For everything I have created carries My love within it. Your immortal being, the correctly understood “heart” within you, is pure love; and your human self endeavors, lovingly prompted and supported by Me, to follow the call of its heart.
That you carry My love within you already follows from the commandment of love for God and neighbor that I gave you. Without already having love within you, you cannot practice it! You can only give what you have! Of course you can increase it; you can gradually free it from everything it still carries as human ballast—but it must already exist, because you cannot practice or increase what is not there.
Love is energy; on the one hand it sustains you forever and ever, and on the other it is there to move, foster and develop something. Love is selfless and unconditional help. It does not separate; it unites. In order to say yes to a reunion, you must become aware that there is one—only one!—source of life; that although you are not separated from it, as a human being at present you are not living with it in perfection; that longing for Me is laid within you like a magnet; and that through My love-power dwelling within you, you receive all the support you need for your journey home.
If you acknowledge that there is a journey home, you will also understand that sooner or later it is necessary to set out on this journey home. This in turn means striving for a change of character within yourself in the direction of love. That means: something must be done; something must come into being to an even greater degree than before.
Beyond the realization and awareness that you are a spiritual being of love, therefore, a decision is needed for what I call inner work. It is the way back that leads to where your true home is—provided you recognize Me as the womb of love into which, full of longing, you wish to immerse yourself again.
Trying to begin this journey back through your own strength is usually connected with futile efforts. It is like trying to roll a heavy ball up a mountain. Many people behave this way, often with the best intentions, but in many cases without knowing that the power that wants to help them, and which they invoke with a look “upward,” is already within them. Whoever then turns to Me only with lip-prayers, without the necessary steps of self-knowledge, repentance and making amends, wonders why no help, or not the help hoped for, is granted to him.
Yet even then My power within him does not remain inactive. It helps in every case, whether by allowing further realizations to arise or by setting the switches anew. How much easier it would be, however, if My continually present love within the human being were included in the process of change! Honest self-examination together with an inwardly directed request is enough to set something in motion immediately in the spiritual realm and outwardly in accordance with circumstances.

If your awareness that you are a child of My love has already developed to the point that you identify less and less with your human self and more and more with being a child of God, then much has already changed in your life. How can you determine whether the spiritual side of your being has already gained—whether a little or a great deal—the upper hand, or whether the human aspects still predominate?
My question about how you see yourself can help you find your answer, provided you do not answer too quickly. You arrive at a truly objective statement if you seek and find the answer in your thinking, speaking and acting. And from the answer, which will provide you with insights, you can then, if you wish, initiate one or another change of direction. Or not—you have free will.
The realization that you are in truth a child of the Father on the journey home to Him can and will, with sincere effort, change much first within you and then also outwardly. In this respect this realization is of fundamental importance; but it is not everything. It will then no longer be a question that you will endeavor more and more to orient your behavior toward the commandments of love.
The experiences you then make strengthen your trust. Within you the desire grows ever greater to be and remain under the protection of the one who is your life: in Me. You recognize Me—not only in theory but in practice—as the great director of worlds who never makes a mistake, not even in your life. The longing to immerse yourself in this light so as to live in it in everyday life will finally lead you to entrust your life to Me. Then you are at the point where you will carry out the surrender—not only once, but again and again, because your love moves you to do so.
Then “Your will be done” has become “Your will be done in me.” Like a boat, you have found the saving harbor. You have looked at the hurdles and blockages that until now kept you from recognizing the harbor at all. And with divine help you have moved all obstacles aside.
Are these still high goals for you, perhaps too high at the moment? Is it still difficult for you to accept that everything that comes upon you is good? Then it may be that you still look at many things from the perspective of your human self; that you measure what life holds in store for you primarily by whether it agrees with your ideas. And if it does not: How do you then behave, beginning with your inner feelings and thoughts?
If you are willing to see and accept everything as a learning process, you have taken a very important step. Then your struggling against things, wanting to hold on and inability to let go will also become less and less, especially when, looking back on many events, you have to recognize that in the end everything was indeed good. Can this already help you, at the next similar opportunity, first to consider what task might be sought and found within it? And that I am the one who allowed this task to come to you because I want you to learn something?
As long as the human being still places his outer well-being above everything and does not ask about the necessary gain for his soul, he does not yet place the emphasis, when considering his being, on the aspects of soul and spirit. He then does not yet see what was positive about the problem, its working-through and its solution. That will change to the degree that he is willing to recognize the benefit for his soul’s development as well and gradually strive for the maturity of his inner being, from the realization that he is a child of the heavens and on the journey home. Out of love for Me and for himself.
The key to finally beginning the journey home consciously lies in the longing I have planted in you. It also lies in the knowledge, lost for a long time, of My constant presence within you. A simple question can make this clear:
If you knew that your earthly father lived in the same house as you, and if you felt love for him and wanted to be close to him, would it not be the most natural thing in the world to go to him, embrace him and speak with him …?
I desire the same from My children. If this is still somewhat unfamiliar to you, then practice it. Take a few minutes every day for our time together, for our dialogue, and you will discover that this will become a dear habit to you that you no longer wish to do without. Eventually, during the day as well, you will return to Me again and again in thoughts and words, and thus in the course of your development your being will orient itself more and more toward the central commandment I gave you as Jesus of Nazareth.
Once you begin this and ultimately are often intimately with Me, there is no longer any question whether you feel yourself to be a child of the heavens or of the world. You will indeed continue to live in the world, but you will increasingly orient your behavior toward the chief commandment I gave you as Jesus of Nazareth. Then you do not merely know that I live within you—you live with Me! And you will recognize as false every teaching that would have you believe that I do not exist, that I am far from you, or that you need no help.
That, My child, is freedom! And the path to it will take on a life of its own once you have tasted the first fruits of our togetherness.
