Divine Revelation
My sons and daughters! Because you came forth from Me, you are indeed children of My love; but in My revelation today I want to place the emphasis on making you aware that you are more than what is commonly associated with the word children:
You are powerful and mighty creatures of the heavens, whom I have endowed with large portions of My attributes, with an abundance of talents and gifts, with abilities still unimaginable to you. You possess a radiant beauty beyond this world and a “heavenly competence” without equal. A freedom is yours that is subject to no restrictions because it is grounded in love and therefore observes the laws of love. This entails creative action carried out in personal responsibility, unceasingly and full of joy, gratitude, and humility.
Each one of you is this and much more.
You are still far from feeling yourselves in this way and acting accordingly, and from seeing yourselves as I see you. And yet even now it would be possible for you to set far more in motion than you consider possible in your lack of understanding and with your view of human sinfulness and inadequacy.
My incarnation in Jesus of Nazareth had one purpose alone: to create the conditions under which all who once left the heavens could develop again toward their true greatness and return home. This means recognizing the necessity of the growth of their souls—their own growth—and deciding consciously to begin this process with Me.
With My birth as a human being, which you celebrate in these days as Christmas, My earthly mission began; with My redemption accomplished on Golgotha, which you commemorate at Easter, it ended. Successfully.
The gates of heaven, figuratively speaking, stood open again. Every soul of good will could now, after the corresponding inner and outer turning back, begin the journey home at My hand on the foundation of the commandment of love that I had lived and taught, trusting in My promise that as the “prodigal son” or “prodigal daughter” it would be received by Me again with open arms. And this without any reservations or “aftereffects.”
The work of bringing all home has been under way ever since, and although the opposing forces still do everything they can to make the return home of My sons and daughters more difficult—they cannot make a return permanently impossible—more and more are finding the way to Me and finally back to My heart, to their eternal home.
To set out on the way that leads home and to follow it consistently step by step is not entirely easy. Without My strengthening power, which I placed as the so-called Christ spark in every soul and every human being, no one would reach the goal anyway. The souls in the realms outside heaven and humanity had moved too far away from the center of My love. The forces of darkness were and still are greatly underestimated, especially since their real existence, their intention, and their methods are almost entirely unknown. And it does require a free decision of the will—made out of love for Me—to free yourselves little by little from the satanic fetters that are energetic in nature and are placed upon you again and again, usually without your noticing it.
That is why at all times, and with increasing intensity in recent decades, I gave you help upon help intended, on the one hand, to remind you who you truly are and where your goal lies and, on the other, to give you encouragement, strengthen your longing, and also provide very concrete support and guidance. They were and are gifts from heaven.

In your season before Christmas, when My birth is recalled amid much glittering light, it is fitting to draw a parallel between the gifts you receive from your loved ones and friends at Christmas and those that come from My love. As a rule, you find what is intended to give you joy lovingly wrapped on the gift table or under the Christmas tree. It would occur to none of you to leave something unopened; nor would you unwrap it and then not concern yourselves with it, simply leaving it lying there.
It is not difficult to recognize what I want to bring close to you with this image. Have you unwrapped My gifts of love, which for many, many years I have poured over you in an abundance such as never before? What do you understand by unwrapping? Reading or hearing My word can certainly be regarded as unwrapping. And then?
Have you set them aside like something for which one gives thanks and which seems quite interesting, but which does not necessarily inspire one actually to use it? Are My gifts lying somewhere—unnoticed and half forgotten? Have they perhaps served merely to satisfy your intellect, to increase the treasure of your knowledge? Or, in hours spent together, to remind you how much the heart rejoices when your God and Father speaks? What purpose would that serve? No matter how much information you accumulate, your soul will not be able to step onto the next rung of its ladder to heaven. Knowledge acquired but not put into practice in the right measure—that is, in the spirit of love—weighs so heavily that the next rung to be climbed will break beneath the weight of head-knowledge. Or have you concerned yourselves more closely with My gifts, recognized their value, and exchanged thoughts about where and how you succeeded in putting them into practice? Have you begun to work with this precious treasure so that it may increase and bear good fruit? For valuable as My gifts are, they are not meant to be kept in a safe. Their incomparable content becomes visible and a blessing for you and the world only when it is sown like seed that I water and bring to maturity.
If you have endeavored to fulfill My commandments and to translate My explanations into an ever-deepening understanding, then much has already happened within you. Then you are well on the way to being light in this difficult time, as with My support a continuous growth of the soul takes place within you.
There is a standard you can apply to yourselves—if you wish—in order to recognize the degree of inner maturation you have already reached. And the more honest you are, the greater the benefit you can draw for yourselves from such an examination. Then joy may arise over the fact that quite a few things have already changed for the better; or relief that in daily life you are no longer affected by this or that to the extent you once were. If that is so, then your inner work with Me has borne fruit.
But a certain sadness may also arise if you have to recognize that there are quite a few things that, with a more serious decision and good will, could long since belong to the past. How do you respond then? Do you remember My gift and My promise to free you, with a small share of work on your part—and a much greater share on Mine—from what continues to burden you? Do not let insights that may weigh heavily on your heart lead you into resignation! Above all, do not let them keep you from coming to Me again and again within yourselves!
An examination of conscience, for example at the end of a day, serves more to look at your conduct under the headings “good—not quite so good—not good at all.” It brings you gain, however, only if you draw the right conclusions from what you recognize and set the course for different conduct in the future, conduct that is right in the spirit of love. The many situations sent to you in the days and weeks that follow give you ample opportunity to practice with this aim in mind.
An assessment of the growth of your soul, by contrast, is meant to help you form a picture of where you stand. It can be hindering or even dangerous to give yourselves over to a false conclusion about your own development and, for example, to believe that by reading spiritual literature, observing church rules and commandments, carrying out traditional exercises, and refraining from bad actions you have laid a sufficient foundation for the next constructive steps on the later, subtle level.
My commandment is not “You shall do no evil,” but “Make an earnest effort to become love again.” The difference is profound.
How far My “love—and nothing else” has already become reality in you, you can judge for yourself if you call to mind what it means to follow Me—provided you have decided to take such a step. For then quite a few things in your life have already changed, because you have not only unwrapped My gifts but have begun successfully to test them for their “everyday usefulness”:
Then worries about the future belong largely to the past. Doubts about Me and My justice no longer exist, because you have understood that every event is always only one link in an eternally long chain in whose formation—where it concerns you—you yourself have taken part. Being able to forgive and being able to ask for forgiveness may still not always come entirely easily to you, but you know their necessity and ask Me to help you with them. So-called death has lost its terror for you because you know that you are on the way to Me. Your readiness to question your thinking, speaking, and acting has become natural to you because you have understood how necessary it is to know yourself in order to build upon this, as the next step, the change you seek. You have already recognized some of the bonds that still keep you from being as free inwardly and outwardly as you yourself would like, and you have begun to loosen these bonds with My help. You rejoice that your empathy and intuition have grown. You look ever more deeply into your neighbor and can recognize both his honest intention and his need for help, as well as attempts to deceive you with fine words or to harm you. You know of the possibility of two-way inner communication with Me, which opens increasingly in the measure that your love for Me grows. You are learning ever better to recognize the many pseudo-religious seductions and to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Can you already subscribe to this for yourself—even if not yet in full measure, but with the intimate desire to attain it? Then you are no longer on the way to Me in word only. Then you are already using My gift with joy and childlike surrender.

All this and more comes about with time—almost as though by itself—as the consequence of a decision to walk, with sincere effort, the path that I, through My example as Jesus of Nazareth, walked before all souls and human beings two thousand years ago. But it would be wrong to assume that in the course of this development of the soul something entirely new is learned. Something is indeed learned; but it would be more accurate to speak of a “reviving,” of a “bringing into the light” of abilities that you have carried within you from eternity and that are only waiting to be practiced and exercised again.
With every step you take in My footsteps, you unfold within yourself what I placed in you ages ago: your spiritual potential, of whose magnitude you know as little as you do of the infinite possibilities that arise through a deeply intimate relationship of love with Me. By “walking in My footsteps” I mean a life in the spirit of love for God and neighbor, which applies equally to all human beings and souls.
This way of looking at things differs fundamentally from the commonly accepted view that has been presented to you, which many of you follow without reflection, and which can be described as follows: that independently of heaven and the angels I brought the material creation into life and created the human being. He must now, within a single life, develop himself by observing My alleged prohibitions and keeping My commandments to such a degree that at the human being’s bodily death his soul has become mature enough to enter heaven. And this more or less from a standing start, out of nothing, perhaps even under the most adverse living conditions. And if he does not manage to purify himself and brighten his soul enough for it to have reached the high vibration of heaven, which—according to the law of attraction—is the prerequisite for a successful return home? What then? On this the opinions of the scribes representing the different worldviews and ideologies diverge very, very widely.
Which of the many versions do you believe? The one you grew up with? And what if you had grown up under different conditions, in another culture, another religion, or with a different way of thinking? Your logic of the heart is called for!
If you, My beloved, recognize that you are creatures with divine qualities who are on the way to bringing these qualities—once buried and at present still partly buried—to light again, then you place your striving and your thoughts upon an entirely new foundation. Then you see yourselves in the situation of a child who knows that it cannot yet do as much as an adult, but who therefore is not burdened by feelings of inferiority and does not think little of itself or regard itself as imperfect.
On the contrary, it rejoices over everything it learns; and what it has learned, it applies. After all, it too wants one day to become big and strong.
And once again I draw a parallel, this time between the child and the adult being that you are. Have you ever considered that what you have already learned in your earthly life, what you have already unfolded again within yourself, is the talent with which you are to work and increase? Figuratively speaking, this means making something of it, putting it to use, increasing it. Spiritually viewed, these are the qualities that, from the standpoint of learning love, of “reviving” it, you have already allowed to grow stronger within you. They have already helped you to an expanded consciousness and have thus become part of your strengthened soul, which gains radiance with every further act of putting them into practice.
They are—by comparison—the qualities of which a child is proud when and because it follows the natural path of growing up voluntarily and joyfully. In principle every one of My human children is in the same position, for each one has already developed something according to his will and possibilities. There is therefore no reason to feel small, unworthy, incapable, and much else, and thereby to place yourself in a situation that is more hesitant and waiting than active and striving forward.
If you, My child whom I love above all, not only read My word or only hear it, but have begun to change your life—even if only in first small steps—then you have begun to take possession of your divine inheritance. Then, if this is your desire, I uncover the source within you ever more freely, the source that at present cannot yet bubble forth as your soul would like. Then you are in the process of developing love more and more within yourself and thereby illuminating further areas of your inner being.
Are you aware of this fact?

What does this knowledge mean for you now? That I ask you to come out of the passive role of the “mere petitioner” and not only become aware that divine abilities and powers are within you, but beyond that to say yes to using My qualities already unfolded within you.
Here too I will give you an image. Every angel—and you are on the way to becoming one again—uses all his capacity for action and all his energy without asking in order to fulfill his task. It corresponds to him completely, that is, to his abilities and possibilities. It is “tailored to him,” and it is no coincidence that he is where he is and acts as he does. This, incidentally, applies to every one of you as well.
Do you believe an angel asks Me to fulfill a task that is actually his task and that he is also able to fulfill? Do you believe your guardian angel must ask Me whether he may protect you? He will carry it out, in love and complete agreement with Me, with My law, in keeping with his nature, his mentality, his love for Me and for you. But he will not delegate to Me—or to an angel who has already developed greater power of light than he has—anything he can also do himself.
Can you imagine acting in a similar way? Or are you more like a child who is already independent but still asks his father or mother to tie his shoes?
My sons and daughters, it is My great desire that—figuratively speaking—you take possession of your inheritance. Be clear that you carry My divine powers within you and begin to make productive use of these powers. Do this in the spirit of My love, even if you do not yet always succeed perfectly. But do it.
One small example—of which there are many, and of which I will place more in your thoughts if you ask Me—will make clear what I mean. And you will be astonished that some findings of your science correspond seamlessly with My universal laws of creation.
Your quantum physicists have discovered that everything is connected with everything else and communicates with everything else. This means that every inner feeling and every thought seeks and finds energies of the same vibration, throughout the whole creation, thus in all material and subtle realms.
And I tell you: Everything lives, everything is unceasingly in motion, everything reacts, everything resonates with forces of the same or similar frequency. Every being contributes to the constant change in the overall picture of creation—like the pattern on the surface of water. This happens with every inner feeling, every thought, every word, and every deed, all of which are triggers on the energetic level. Because these realms are invisible to you, the impression arises either that they do not exist or that they are located in another, completely sealed-off cosmos that has no influence upon you and whose nature you do not help shape.
No view could be more mistaken.

I explain these connections to you in detail because I want to protect you from falling into the trap of the false “Father, You do it” mentality, which consists in leaving to Me even what you yourselves can take on. There is much that can and should be worked on and accomplished by us together. For the growth you are to strive for arises only through trying, practicing, and gathering experience; and in this I protect you from harm and give you all the help you need when you ask Me to be at your side. This is what is meant by the many steps I take toward you when you take only one step toward Me.
When I encourage you to begin using for the good of your neighbor, but also for yourselves, the powers of the soul you have already unfolded within you, I do not mean that you should act in self-will or according to your own ideas. I am and remain the One who, as the sole “perpetual motion machine” of creation, provides His energy of love for everything you do. But if you use this energy, as far as you are already able, to act in the spirit of selfless and unconditional love, then step by step you grow into your task as co-shapers of creation.
The changes toward what is better and good that all of you hope for will not be achieved through a more or less passive inner attitude that leaves everything to Me. They will take place in the desired form when everyone contributes his part: you as human beings on the material plane, just as your heavenly brothers and sisters are active tirelessly and without limit on every level.
Such a change of thinking and acting benefits not least yourselves; for every thought that, with good will and My help, is translated into action is a building block that fosters the growth of your soul and makes you strong, more secure, and freer. It brings you out of the heaviness and inertia into which you all too easily fall. It makes you children of God who move forward and who, through their radiance and their lives, proclaim the love and joy they experience.
When and where else do you want to begin growing up, maturing into conscious sons and daughters of God, if not now and here, where the best conditions are given?
If, for example, you pray for someone, the power of your prayer is strengthened when you place all your inner feeling into the words you think or speak. Because inner feelings are so decisive, I will return to this important aspect at a later time.
Beyond that, try something further:
To pray for your neighbor is an act of selfless love—your selfless love! You certainly put into words what you want to say or ask for, but these words represent only a kind of energetic bridge. To where? To the recipient of your prayer, to Me and—what very few know or consider—to the infinitely vast field of energy of selfless love that permeates all creation. In doing so you enter into contact with all energies of the same or similar vibration. This, incidentally, is always and everywhere the case, no matter what you think, say, and do, or whether the energies concerned are positive or negative. Your physicists have gained the first insights where quantum phenomena are concerned.
If you now gratefully become aware of the love you have already developed—developed again—through your effort, the love that is therefore already active within you, accompanies you, and helps you in many ways, and if from this awareness you then send your power of love to your brother or sister, this has an incomparably stronger effect than a “mere” prayer lacking your own active share. In this way you have become, in the truest sense of the word, “co-workers” in My vineyard.
As an “extra,” there is an interaction with other energies of the same vibration, quite apart from what comes from My heart for the good of the soul and the human being.
From this example you may recognize what possibilities, for the most part still unknown and hidden, lie within you. It is part of the divine potential of which I always speak when I remind you of your true greatness. Recognizing it is so important for you. Developing your talents and allowing them to become a blessing for all is a wonderful task. You will fulfill it with ever greater joy as you increasingly see the good fruits of your work and feel the effects they have in your surroundings and also within yourselves.
To conduct yourselves in this way—that is, to use responsibly, in the spirit of love, the powers I placed within you—is not an instruction to feel like God or to act as God. But it does make grown sons and daughters out of the children of My love.
This, My beloved, is My Christmas gift to you. If you not only unwrap it but, in a free decision, bring its content into your life, its infinitely valuable meaning, which comes from My fatherly love, will unfold for you.
