Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, some of you ask yourselves why I keep returning to the importance of inner work, why it forms the heart of My revelations. And some think that surely it would be good and helpful, beyond the knowledge I have allowed to flow into the world for centuries through those faithful to Me, to receive further information, preferably highly and exceedingly interesting information. The more knowledge they gather, they believe, the more quickly they would come into My arms and find their way to My heart.
I repeat Myself because it is important to point this out again and again: The accumulation of knowledge—especially when it is not lived out—can represent an attempt by darkness to block access to your inner source. Whoever acts in this way is like a student who memorizes the letters of the alphabet but never practices joining them together into meaningful and understandable words and sentences.
Whoever knows Me because he strives to follow the example I set before him and lived out as Jesus of Nazareth, whoever experiences Me both within himself and in his everyday life because he lives with Me, knows that such an assumption is mistaken. It is not knowledge that makes the soul blossom and the human being mature, but solely and entirely love lived out.
What humanity has received up to now, that is, over centuries and millennia, is more than sufficient for anyone of good will to recognize that there is a spiritual reality that is the origin of all life; that a lawful order governs everything that happens in creation; and that behind it operates an unimaginable omnipotence—which is love! And yet all that you have already received is only a tiny drop from the ocean of My infinite wisdom, of My lawfulness that governs all things. No creature will ever penetrate the depths of My consciousness, nor will it ever be able to recognize or fathom the breadth and greatness of My being. I express this fact in the words: I am!
But everyone may draw from My wisdom—every human being, every soul, every angel. It opens itself to each one according to the unfolding of his consciousness, which in human beings and souls is in turn linked to the fulfillment of My commandment of love. The intellect does not play the decisive role here; it is the warmth of heart put into practice in everyday life that clears the way to Me, the way that leads back to your eternal home.
What benefit, then, would your soul gain if I overwhelmed you with insights into the subtle and most subtle structures of creation, into the infinite diversity of life in your material universe alone? Or if I overtaxed your understanding by describing the harmony, freedom, and glory of the heavens, for which you do not even have words? Would it keep you from believing the promises and seductions of darkness if I portrayed its workings in even more drastic images than before? Something that, in any case, quite a few do not like to hear, preferring to have everything painted in bright colors—only then to lose their way in the pseudo-light, that is, in the darkness of My adversary and yours.
Because the heavens wish to welcome you again as soon as possible, and because I wish to draw you back to My heart so that you may experience a love—My love—that fills you with infinite happiness and never-ending joy, I have, for as long as human beings can remember, bent down to My children on earth with My enlightening word. And you should know that the same also happens in the realms of souls.
I want to move you to place the necessity of developing your being toward love—supported by My power that lives within you—at the very top of the tasks of your life. Before you became human, before you entered your human body as a soul, this was your own wish: to incarnate in order to develop your capacity to love on earth and through interaction with your fellow human beings. This does not mean having to withdraw as a hermit or renounce everything earthly; rather, it is about setting priorities and not regarding the way to God as a secondary task that can be taken up whenever nothing else, nothing more important, happens to be pressing at the moment.
Out of longing for you, My beloved creatures, I remind you where your goal lies and show you the steps by which you can reach this goal safely and protected; nothing is taken from you that you do not voluntarily give Me. On the contrary: From My love you receive everything that strengthens you inwardly, lets you become peaceful, loving, and free. Your “reward” does not wait for you only in heaven; I want to bless you with it already during your lifetime.
Knowledge and information given from the heavens are now available in such sufficient measure that they can serve as a good foundation for anyone who wants to begin drawing the right conclusions from what he has recognized and making the necessary decisions. In doing so, he leaves the narrow path of “only having to believe”; he begins to take responsibility for his spiritual life and, through the logic of the heart that I teach, broadens his view of things. Thus the truth will gradually open itself to him that I am a God of love and of life.
Whoever takes this path, I support in many ways. And part of that support is that, through My revelations, I place the key in his hand so that—step by step with Me—he can carry out the changes in his life that transform him from a person of this world into a spiritual human being who still lives in the world but fills his little world, wherever he has been placed, with My light.
I call this process of change, which does not end when the earthly eyes close but continues seamlessly after the “awakening” in the world beyond, “inner work.” And this is why I have placed the emphasis of My words to My human children upon it: because the growth and maturing of soul and human being are what matter, what move you forward, what make you courageous and happy, and what ultimately allow you to find your way more and more to wisdom—a wisdom that is the result of knowledge put into practice.
And because this process is not entirely simple, because there is much to be taken into account, because difficulties will confront you, because numerous traps have been cleverly set, and because new questions continually arise along the way, I therefore place inner work at the center again and again, which also includes repetitions because further aspects have to be illuminated.

The changes I will initiate with your yes—and in many cases have already initiated—do not concern only your soul, as is often mistakenly assumed, but quite concretely also your human self, that is, your psyche, your energy, your general condition, your circumstances in life, not least your physical well-being—in short, the whole person. So it is not merely a matter of fulfilling the commandments in order, after passing into the worlds beyond, to be able to present a condition of soul burdened as little as possible. Certainly, looking “ahead” to what awaits you later is important. But making corresponding efforts chiefly, perhaps even solely, so as not to enter lower realms after so-called death brings you no blessing.
The motivation most likely to advance you on your path is love for God, your Father. It is inseparably connected with love for your neighbor, because it is not possible to love God while failing to respect your neighbor. Love for God is attained through love for your neighbor! And finally, you can truly love your neighbor only if you also love yourselves. This is something that is very often overlooked. Or the human being deceives himself on this point. For how, for example, could you dislike or even hate a fault in yourselves and yet have a positive attitude toward the same or a similar fault in your neighbor!?
The changes I seek with you therefore always encompass the whole human being, his inner and outer life. No one has to go about “in sackcloth and ashes” merely because he thinks this means living in a way pleasing to God. Nor does anyone have to resign himself to his fate, through a mistaken understanding of the connections, because it seems appropriate to him when he looks back at his past life. I strive to spare My children distress and suffering already during their lifetime, something that is possible for Me, while respecting free will, whenever I see an honest effort to leave behind old, wrong behavior and adopt new ways of thinking and acting.
Where divine law does not permit an improvement at once—because of events in this life or in earlier ones—it is nevertheless I who sets the points so that those who are willing can be freed from their entanglements and led out of the depths of the valley through which they are presently walking.
You therefore have the right to assume that, by turning to Me, much in your life will change for the better. I will not disappoint your hope. However—and this is the small bitter drop I must add to excessive euphoria—My promise presupposes something that is firmly anchored in My law:
I can reshape your life only when, and to the extent that, I receive your yes. If it is to be a lasting change, it must be a yes that comes from an open heart in which love for Me is already beginning to sprout, even if only a little, even if at first only “on trial.” It may still be a tiny plant at the beginning: If you want it to grow and flourish, then I will—together with you—make sure that it does.

Sometimes it is not altogether easy to question oneself as to whether one is truly already on the way or perhaps merely deceiving oneself. Reading your Scripture and the revelations can, for example, be an important step, as can exchanging thoughts about them. But do not forget to let the second and the next step follow the first.
If you wish, if you therefore have the courage—I say this with a smile—to look at yourselves, gain insights, and perhaps change something, then let us work by reasoning in reverse. It can help you where simply asking questions often gets you no further. In saying this I am speaking first and foremost to those among you who have known My revealed word for some time.
How are you personally? What do you feel when the question arises as to what happens to you after what human beings call “death”? Is the subject taboo for you? Do you repress it? Do you believe at all that your soul continues to live as an individual in realms beyond? After the many indications heaven has given you, have you engaged with this? Do fear, uncertainty, perhaps doubts, or even unbelief predominate? If fears are present because you believe you have so far followed My commandment of love inadequately: Do you want to change something? Are you aware of the greatness of My love and mercy, and do you believe in it? Do you know of the help I extend to you? Can you already, full of trust, place your life after death, your future destiny, and that of your family unconditionally into My hands?
How are things with the “old” faults and weaknesses you still carry around with you even though you have been aware of them for a long time? Have you already been able to work on them with My power that lives within you? Have they already lost their former intensity? Are they beginning to fade? Or do you fall back again and again—though increasingly less often—into old habits? Has the joy you feel when something in your soul, and therefore in your behavior, has been transformed by Me and perhaps dissolved already become your own? Have your steps already become more purposeful and freer? Is your gaze directed forward more and more often? Alongside joy, has gratitude already become part of your regular inward turning to Me?
Have you recognized who or what binds you to old habits that you would actually most like to change? Have you become aware of your bonds? By this I do not mean connection, which includes our intimate and eternal connection, but the fetters that make it difficult for you to set out on your way into freedom. Have you discovered the dependencies behind them that want to keep you standing still? And if so, have you seen through the “game” in which you are moved back and forth like influenceable pieces on a chessboard? Do you already recognize the way out, and can you, supported by Me, already walk it by beginning to forgive and ask for forgiveness? By striving to love yourselves rather than waiting to be loved?
Can you already inwardly grasp that there is no chance, except at most in the sense that what is meant for you falls to you? If you affirm this: Are you then already ready to acknowledge My law, which governs in everything—and therefore also works in your personal destiny—as love and justice? Is the statement that “God makes no mistakes” more to you than mere words? It is undoubtedly not easy to apply this statement to your own life when distress and suffering determine your days. Can you nonetheless trust that everything has its meaning, even if you cannot recognize the connection—which may have its causes in times far in the past? Does your trust in My justice remain unshaken even then?
I could lengthen the series of questions and examples, but even so you know what matters to Me: namely, to encourage you in quiet moments to reflect on where you yourselves stand and what you yourselves want. Only after you have taken your own position can it be recognized and decided whether a change of direction is appropriate and intended at all—and, if so, in what way and with what intensity.
Thus you can decide whether you merely read or hear My word, or whether you let it fall into you and are ready to reflect on it, set new points, and act. If the latter is not your present wish or intention, then—without this having any influence whatsoever on My love for you—you have the freedom to take that path.
But without intruding upon you, I will continue to concern Myself with you again and again. For I am a teacher who cares deeply about the well-being of His students, who does everything to encourage them and bring them to a good conclusion. I am the Master whose bliss is complete only when He has made all His journeymen into masters! And the journeymen? What reason would they have to attend a master school if mastery were not also the goal they seek?

Using an example, I want briefly to explain to you another aspect of inner work connected with the word “hand over.” It is good and right to give or hand over to Me something over which you yourselves have no influence. In doing so, you trustingly place a person, a matter, or a circumstance into My hands and express: “Father, may Your will be done here.” In this way you acknowledge My omnipotence and at the same time also see the limits of your human possibilities. Your handing it over to Me is proof that you believe in My justice and goodness.
But are you also aware that this “handing over” to Me can be misused, and often enough is misused when the person handing something over too hastily relinquishes to Me something that actually belongs within his own sphere of responsibility and within the scope of his ability and aptitude? Often there is then a lack of knowledge that the power needed to work on it—My power—is already within the human being himself, or ignorance of how this power can be used correctly, while the boundary between ignorance and inertia or unwillingness is not always easy to draw.
Knowing that every human being carries the power of Christ within, everyone who knows My word has in his hands an instrument of inestimable value that is still unknown to most people. Some of your church representatives do indeed say that “God dwells in the human being,” but practical work with this inner power, its usefulness, its activation, and its “everyday applicability” are scarcely or not at all taught; and the explanations of how My love helps you not infrequently remain diffuse or abstract. The same applies to the conditions anchored in My just law for bringing about a change in you through My redeeming power.
I have not only reopened the heavens; since Golgotha I am also the supporting and liberating energy of love within the human being, reaching out My hand to the willing one returning home and taking from him part of his burden or all of it when he asks Me from an honest heart, in recognition of his wrong behavior and with the knowledge that he must contribute his own part according to his possibilities. Thus My love, as the energy that eternally pours itself out, not only sustains everything I have ever created and will create throughout eternity, but beyond this also helps human being and soul as a support on their way home. That is why I can say to you: “I am closer to you than your arms and legs.”
The term “inner work” itself expresses that it cannot simply be a matter of handing something over to Me that lies within the responsibility of a free son and a free daughter. I change you when you have the desire and firm will for it, and when you are ready to practice new behavior. I turn your anger into the gentleness you long for, your impatience into patience, your mistrust into trust, your ill will into generosity. But—and here once again comes a small bitter drop—I will not reprogram you like a robot; rather, together with you I will replace old programs with new ones. This requires that old behavior be left behind—gradually, or even all at once in its entirety, depending on the circumstances—and that new behavior be practiced. As the great One who sets the points, I will create for you the opportunities to practice this in everyday life. In love and in the right measure.
Whoever tries to do this by self-will—depending on how serious his wrong behavior is and how long it has continued—may possibly suffer shipwreck; for he faces forces that are not to be underestimated and that, when they take their path through the depths of his soul, cannot or can no longer be influenced by his will. Nor is the spiritual help now offered in many places, which promises liberation from influencing soul-forces or energy fields and extends as far as the alleged dissolution of karma, the solution. It can only remain on the surface.
When it is a matter of transforming or dissolving something in your soul, there is only one way: making use of the power of Christ within you. Nothing else can reach your soul; nothing else can bring about lasting healing. For behavior that is wrong in terms of love is, as it were, a kind of illness that burdens your soul to a greater or lesser degree, and liberation from it expresses itself as healing of the soul and often also of the body.
In this work, should you decide to undertake it and do your part, you are not alone. Lay your worries and needs before Me, tell Me what occupies you again and again, tell Me what you would like to change, and tell Me also why you have this wish. Perhaps you have had enough of the way you have lived up to now; perhaps you want to begin anew; perhaps you feel the pressure that has built up and prevents you from developing spiritually. These are all reasons I understand and accept.
Perhaps you will also succeed—depending on the extent of a fault or inclination—in feeling remorse for what you have caused within yourself and, above all, in others; for the hurts you have inflicted on others, consciously or unconsciously; for what has arisen through omissions and indifference.
There is one thing, My beloved child, that I may say to you as your Father. And at the same time I ask you to accept this word from your Father, to take it into yourself and anchor it firmly, very firmly and deeply within you:
I am love and mercy. There is nothing—absolutely nothing!—that can endure before Me forever as guilt. Nothing! My arms are infinitely wide open, and they embrace everyone and everything that enters these arms. You too.
But come to Me also when it concerns your large and small everyday worries. Nothing is too small before Me for Me not to take it into My loving heart.
Go inward, there where I dwell within you, where I wait for you. In this way apply My law of divine assistance in everything that burdens you in your life. This application, this “working-with-Me,” is more than merely recognizing and accepting My law. It is the key to your way home: your inner work, your yes, and My love as an unbeatable team.
This too is a “handing over”—a handing over with your own contribution, in recognition of the abilities and the power of love that lie within each of My sons and daughters.
