Divine Revelation
My beloved children, the fact that I place today’s revelation under the words “Do not fall into the knowledge trap!” has a much farther-reaching meaning than appears at first glance. I have often told you that knowledge which is not put into practice, and thus not lived in daily life, sooner or later proves troublesome and even burdensome. And not only that: in the end it can block the path that leads to My heart through surrender of your self-will.
Everything always comes down to recognizing your “human self” and, with Me, transforming your previously unrecognized weaknesses and faults into strengths; but the obstacles that must be overcome along the way are of many kinds. Again and again the opposing side places all of them in your path with the greatest cunning and deceit. In doing so it appeals to your own ideas and wishes, so that it is difficult, and often even impossible, for you to recognize the danger hidden behind apparently reasonable logic or conclusions that are often quite convincing.
Blocking the implementation of your knowledge is among its most successful strategies. With consequences that are in part devastating for My human children.
I want to explain this to you more closely by means of an example.
The Lord’s Prayer contains the words “Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” It is spoken every day by countless people, yet this passage too, like many another, is prayed mechanically. It means no more and no less than that the human being asks that My will may be done.
Hardly anyone arrives at the thought that it is impossible for My will not to govern in the long term, because that would mean another power is stronger. My will can indeed be circumvented, so to speak overridden, for a longer or shorter moment — for from the perspective of eternity it is no more than that — but My law ensures that the originator finds his way back to Me and thus back to and into love. And in this way My will is fulfilled after all.
Directly connected with the request in the Lord’s Prayer just mentioned, despite all the many question marks in your relationship with Me, is the view held by many people that “God makes no mistakes.” This is so easily and quickly thought and said. But when this statement is put to the test, anyone willing to think along and think further very quickly discovers that a knowledge trap opens here. Anyone can fall into it who does not from time to time examine his own thinking, speaking, and acting to see whether he also accepts My will when situations arise in his personal life or in the world, and things begin to take shape or happen, that do not immediately fit his ideas of what is good and right.
Far too easily and far too quickly much is put into the drawer labeled “human point of view.” If addressed about it, a person would not immediately agree, because much of this takes place in his subconscious. And yet it is so. This becomes apparent at the latest when situations intensify or decisions must be made.
My most beautiful gift to My children is their free will. It makes each one an independent being who, in everything he thinks and does, is without limits insofar as his development permits. But this also carries great responsibility, for the consequences of his actions, which were prepared beforehand by his ideas and experiences and also by his character, are directly connected with the one who acts. This applies to what is good and what is less good.
This principle ensures that no one — no spiritual being and no human being — will permanently violate love, because sooner or later the consequences of negative conduct affect the originator himself. This applies also to Sadhana and her fellow combatants, even if in your eyes an “eternity” has passed since their rebellion against Me. Time plays no role with Me; it has existed only since the separation of those who turned away and is not permanent.

I have never left My human children without teaching. Already through the prophets of the Old Covenant I began to awaken and sharpen their awareness that I am their God. The unceasing and successful attempts of the opposing forces to lead human beings into distance from God then made it necessary for Me Myself, in My aspect of love, to come into the world. Through Jesus of Nazareth, alongside the decisive aspect of redemption, I brought the teaching of love. Putting it into practice, without further regulations and methods, commandments and prohibitions regarded as important today, is entirely sufficient for a human being to bring the wheel of repeated incarnations to an end, so that after leaving the earthly body the soul enters subtle worlds that make further development possible without another earthly life.
Even after Jesus I taught My children through people devoted faithfully to Me. For it soon became clear that only very few were able to unfold knowledge and wisdom simply through a life of deep affection for Me and obedience to My commandments. Therefore, to this day, I have not ceased placing ever deeper knowledge into the world in order to show humanity connections that otherwise would have remained foreign to them.
But knowledge from My source is never intended merely to fill a person’s brain. It is meant exclusively to serve as the basis for a corresponding life whose goal is to build an intimate connection with Me, a connection that does not break even in difficult times. If the accumulation of knowledge is not followed by sincere effort in daily life, it proves — without your noticing it at once — to be a trap. It makes it difficult, and increasingly difficult, for you to recognize the need, through recurring inward self-examination, to look at your human weaknesses, not to mention the far from easy work of transforming them into strengths of soul and character.
Be honest with yourselves for once: Has new knowledge not fascinated you often enough? Your horizon of knowledge expanded, you could join in the conversation, and at times this did your ego quite a bit of good without your noticing it. Perhaps you even took as examples people who possessed far more knowledge than you.
Once again: Knowledge is necessary for the great majority so that they can understand connections and draw the necessary conclusions. But knowledge can and must always be only a means to an end, never the goal itself!
That knowledge is something fundamental is of course no secret to the powers of darkness either. That is why from the beginning they set about building a trap, mostly unnoticed by you, by placing knowledge at the center and portraying its practical application as difficult or impossible. They have dealt similarly with the concept of “faith,” by presenting faith, however necessary it is as a foundation, as a central aspect — rather than all that follows for a person who loves Me from his faith in Me. What good is it to you, for example, if you believe you are heir to a great fortune without making the effort to learn the details and take possession of your inheritance?
It required intensive preparation by Lucifer, as Sadhana later called herself, and his followers to create the conditions under which many questions could no longer be answered satisfactorily. The planning and step-by-step execution extended over many centuries. Eventually not only were the necessary pointers and explanations missing; more and more doubts crept in among believers as to whether there really is a higher power that loves its creatures and “has everything under control.” In the worst case people fell away from their faith in Me; in the less serious case their religious practice was reduced to membership in one of the many churches and communities.
To achieve their goal, the negative forces made use of people who held power in leading positions of the church in order gradually to alter My teaching (1). The false teaching, in decisive statements designated as dogma and thus received as infallible, is binding “for all time,” and all who do not believe it are threatened with eternal damnation after death (2). Very few, however, know this, for this point is no longer emphasized.
It concerns the doctrine that with every human birth the soul is created “fresh” by Me, so that only upon the person’s entrance into earthly life do I give him an immortal soul for the journey. After the death of the body it leaves the person again in order, following this one earthly life, to reap at a later judgment the fruits of human deeds or omissions. Multiple lives, for each of which the soul freely decides, are described as false teaching. Among all church Christians, insofar as they take this and other instructions seriously, there is therefore no explanation for suffering and distress in the world. For according to this view there is no before, no influence of wrong conduct from earlier existences that could serve as an explanation.
Indeed, little or no importance is attached to the law of cause and effect. As a rule, if it is interpreted at all, it is interpreted toward the future and then understood in this way:
What you caused today, you will reap tomorrow as “punishment.” Almost no one thinks to ask when that which befalls you today was caused.

I have deliberately gone somewhat farther back so that you can also see the background and recognize and correctly assess the great significance this has for the well-being of human souls. For both the assumption that only one life is intended by Me for a soul, and the false interpretation of the law of sowing and reaping, result in the fact that, when answers to urgent questions are lacking, I am no longer understood and much is no longer accepted. In particular, acceptance is then often lacking for so-called blows of fate, which in reality are processes of awakening and learning.
And even where this does not immediately lead to rejection of a God who apparently does not care at all whether His creatures fare well or badly, often only a meager remnant of faith in Me remains.
For apparently chance rules the fate of a person or of people. Or a higher power, if there should even be one, acts unjustly. Or it has lost control over what it created. Nevertheless to see in everything the just governance of a loving God, and to accept everything as good and right, is very difficult for the great majority, insofar as they think about it at all.
Does this not sound familiar to you? Has not every one of you, despite all your faith and love, had to struggle with the difficulties of such and similar situations? And yet people pray that My will may be done. And yet at the same time many are convinced that I make no mistake …
It is impossible for you to be confronted with something that has nothing to do with you in some form; whether it concerns learning processes, an exercise in humility, a need for insight, a task, restitution, working off burdens, or something else. This principle concerns the individual human being as well as a community or even an entire people. Anything else would not correspond to My justice.
Put simply, there are two groups: one knows nothing of reincarnation or rejects it and also attaches no importance to the law of cause and effect; the other knows about it but has often remained “stuck” at the level of knowledge. Then, when situations actually require reflection, it is not uncommon for this group to succumb to the temptation simply to forget the working of My will in everything. From there it is only a small step — and My will is no longer recognized. In the worst case it is not accepted.
Here a trap opens, My beloved, and the forces of darkness do everything possible to lure you into it and entangle you there, and no one is immune. Even within Me, at My crucifixion, thoughts arose as to whether the human being Jesus might have been abandoned by his heavenly Father.
It is not easy, at difficult stages of life, always and immediately to remember that My love is at work in everything; even when a personal situation is very painful or an event in your world brings about suffering and cruelty. Because you always see only a small section, and because your eyes and ears are held back and your thinking is often restricted as well, you lack the overview and the connections, and therefore the understanding.
This is so, among other reasons, because you are subject to the circumstances connected with an incarnation into the sphere ruled by the opposing forces, something many of you were aware of before your earthly life. Nevertheless they gave their yes because their love for Me and for their brothers and sisters on earth was great and because they knew and trusted that I live within them and that in Jesus Christ they have the strongest guide one could possibly wish for.
Because the satanic powers do everything possible to keep human beings in ignorance and therefore often in fear and despair, it is all the more important that you build a counterweight within yourselves; that you live your knowledge, which in this way becomes, in the depths of your soul and your human self, a foundation upon which your “fortress” rests and cannot be taken.
I therefore remind you — and especially with this word of revelation — that even what you do not understand is permitted by My love! Because My love has above all the well-being of your soul in view! For it is your soul that continues to live, not the perishable body.
Although My patience is infinite, sooner or later what the human being — and this applies to humanity as well — still carries within himself as a burden comes upon him, whether from earlier incarnations or through conduct in this life. The effects may show themselves in your present life, but also in later incarnations, or they may even “rest” for eons, as with Sadhana and her followers. But: Causes once set never dissolve again by themselves!
For you it is important to internalize this principle of justice. For in your life too you will be confronted with situations and events that for many come “out of the blue,” and that they cannot place. These include the atrocities that occur in war and the countless dead and injured brought about by such armed conflicts. If you do not believe in chance, it must be clear to you that in the past there must have been something grave on one side or both — whether or not this is known, because perhaps it lies very far back.

For you personally, however, dealing with your own situation is far more important, insofar as this is necessary. For there is always the danger that you will very quickly forget your acquired knowledge and then be unable — often even unwilling — to acknowledge the fact that everything is not only permitted by Me but is even important for you, meaning for the maturation of your soul. Then it can happen that, despite all your love for Me, you have difficulty accepting your problems or even your fate.
My beloved son, My beloved daughter, especially in such phases of your life I am particularly close to you, and precisely then it is especially important for the well-being of your soul and also your body to come to Me intensely again and again. If you do not, a situation may arise in which you set your will against My will. As a rule you will not be aware of this, and if addressed directly you would deny it. But that is what it comes down to.
Even if it is difficult for you then: Come to Me! Do not let your lack of understanding keep you from calling for Me again and again and grasping again and again the hand I extend to you. That is the solution! There is no other for people who believe in Me, who love Me, and who strive to follow Me.
The comparison with schoolwork suggests itself: As long as you avoid tackling a difficult assignment that in the end must somehow and sometime be addressed, you are under stress. The assignment hangs over you like the sword of Damocles. Once it is solved, all is well …
If you resolve what occupies you with Me, then you resolve it “in the depths.” It becomes anchored within you as an experience that helps you meet the next difficulty more calmly and with greater trust. You will need to remind yourselves again and again that you carry within you the strongest power in creation. My last word of revelation can certainly be a great help to you in this (3).
Putting your knowledge into practice is what makes you strong. Naturally, your brothers and sisters from darkness know this too. Therefore they do everything possible to ensure that it remains at the level of knowledge. Recognize the trap. Decide to act. Together with Me, with the love of Christ that dwells within you, infinitely much will be possible for you. To become ever stronger and more powerful by turning toward and finally surrendering to Me, perhaps even becoming a rock in the surf, is more necessary in the time ahead than ever before.

(1) Probably the most frequently cited doctrinal statement intended to emphasize the uniqueness of earthly life was proclaimed in the year 543 at the synod of the Eastern Church in Constantinople. The background: It concerned some teachings of Origen (185–254 AD), the most influential theologian of the Greek Church and probably the most important theologian of the Church as a whole before Augustine. Origen did not know eternal punishments of the kind found in the later prevailing idea of hell. In his view even the devil will one day be redeemed. This teaching, known as apokatastasis, was rejected for the first time in 543, when Origen’s opponents obtained from Emperor Justinian I an edict listing in ten points non-orthodox teachings of Origen, which the Council of Constantinople in 553 then condemned and on that basis declared Origen a heretic. All the bishops of the empire, including Pope Vigilius at that time, assented to this condemnation. It reads:
“Whoever says or maintains that human souls had a prior existence, that is, that they had previously been spirits and powers, but that they had grown weary of the divine vision, turned to evil, therefore grown cold in the love of God, thus received the name ‘souls,’ and as punishment for this were confined in bodies, let him be excluded.” (Neuner-Ross, No. 325)
(2) In this connection the following doctrinal statement was also proclaimed: “Whoever says or believes that the punishment of evil spirits and godless human beings is only temporary and will come to an end after a certain time, and that thereafter there will be a complete restoration … of the evil spirits and godless human beings, let him be excluded.” (Denzinger, No. 411)
