Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, many years ago, when I addressed your brother through whom I give this word, I did so with the words: “Proclaim My love!” As you would say, I caught him “off guard.” The result was that, surprised to the point of alarm, he first reacted with doubt, even rejection. He did not feel capable of fulfilling such a task; but am I to wait until you are perfect? In the days and weeks that followed, however, he had to think constantly about My address to him.
Among other things, I am also patience. And so I waited, while again and again placing impulses within him without his noticing it. Finally, doubt and rejection gradually crumbled and gave way to an attitude that said something like: “I am not sure whether it was You. But in case it was You, I give You my yes — cautiously and feeling my way — though for now only a small one.”
He was and is thereby in a situation in which many of you find yourselves. There is no question that I need those among you in whose hearts My love is gradually developing. If you are willing to feel within yourself, you will “hear” My word within you in the same or a similar way; this is not hearing with the outer ears, but a growing certainty that you too set out in order to proclaim My love — above all through your life.
No privileges or advantages of any kind are connected with a call from Me. There is absolutely no reason to see anything special in a person through whom I give My word, or to put that person on a pedestal. Often it is even his not always “bright” past in earlier incarnations that has shaped the desire to make something good again by striving to serve Me. Sometimes it can be no more than sincere effort, because darkness stands ready to exploit even the smallest weakness in order to bring down a messenger acting on My behalf or make his life more difficult. The tasks freely taken on out of love for Me and for one’s neighbor can be of the most varied kinds.
In every case, work awaits a child who is fundamentally ready to give Me its yes. It cannot be otherwise. For if the point is to proclaim, above all through your life, that I am love, then your life must become more and more oriented toward Me.
That means inner work, which is unknown to the great majority of people and is something fundamentally different from merely believing in Me or being a member of a religious community. For then I begin to work on you and within you, which will be the case with everyone. The work, however, takes on ever new forms along the course of your path. In every case it proceeds through self-knowledge, which is initiated either by outer events or by your willingness to look more deeply at yourselves than in the past.
Through your yes I am able to guide you differently than when you have to wait for so-called fate gradually to remove the blindfold from your eyes. At the same time this means that you gain more and more inner strength and love for Me and understand better and better how I guide you. Then, when new insights or lessons arise, you are no longer as “shocked” as you were in the past, when you knew yourselves little or not at all and misjudged yourselves.
Your understanding things better and better does not mean that it will become easy for you always to place everything correctly at once. But certainty will grow within you and finally lead to a deep trust that everything has meaning, because I make no mistake but always, in every case, keep the well-being — above all the well-being of the soul — of My child in view.
Then you begin increasingly to rest in Me and understand that the path to My Father-heart is, basically — meaning in principle — very simple, because it says: love — and nothing else; but that putting it into practice requires your whole human self, your steadfastness, and a yes that must be renewed again and again, because otherwise the opposing forces slip unnoticed into your good intentions. Especially in the time ahead, this can become a task that is not easy.

I have placed today’s revelation under the words “Proclaim My love!” This gives them far greater significance than appears at first glance; for with them I ask you to do what I did before you, when the aspect of My love incarnated in the human being Jesus of Nazareth.
Because it was My desire and will to bring My fallen children home again, and because I possessed and still possess the power to do so, I decided to give lost humanity an example of what selfless and all-embracing love means and what it is capable of. At the same time I gave all human beings and souls, as an additional power, the Christ spark that burns near your heart and since Golgotha has made it possible for everyone to find the way back to Me. In this way the Fall, triggered by Sadhana and her followers, was stopped and the threatened dissolution of creation was prevented.
Through Jesus I proclaimed My love; a love so great and boundless — regardless of how soul and human being conduct themselves — that you cannot come even close to imagining it. The human being Jesus expressed his love for Me by accepting his task and through his total surrender to Me.
Christendom celebrates his birth as Christmas without truly knowing the deep background. My immediate presence too is neither known nor consciously recognized by the great majority. If it were, many would behave differently.
Early Christianity, to be sure, knew nothing about many things concerning which you are enlightened today. Compared with what is now in the world, their information concerning spiritual matters was quite sparse. But in exchange it possessed something else that is largely missing today: a readiness to follow the One who not only taught His love for Me but lived it to the final consequence.
The idea of a Christmas celebration such as is observed today with gifts and festivities was foreign to the Christians of that time. Indeed, it would have been abhorrent to them to profane through externals something as holy as the appearance of God on earth.
Only centuries later did rituals develop, which were “refined” and finally, step by step, became a holiday (1) with customs that — measured against the original thought of celebrating My coming as Redeemer — no longer have even the remotest connection with the origin. Attendance at church services and reflective Christmas carols do not change this. Your children’s Christmas songs often still contain deep truths and knowledge (2) without your noticing it or being moved by it to reflect.
It is far from Me to dim your Christmas joy in any way. Despite all secularization, I rejoice in every sincere inner feeling and every selfless deed to which Christmas inspires you. And nevertheless I tell you: What is celebrated today as a “festival of love” has nothing in common with what happened in Bethlehem, above all with its “immense” spiritual dimension.
Who set this in motion and carried it out according to careful plan? It is the same one who could not prevent My birth and My redemption, but who still does everything possible to cause the greatest possible harm to everyone and everything. And yet, even if it surpasses your understanding: I love him too; for him too I died on the cross; him too I will ultimately embrace again.

Into anyone who has the desire actually to live his Christianity, I place ever stronger impulses to find the path that is “right” for him; which means: tailored to him, his possibilities, and his readiness.
Perhaps you are surprised when I speak of the right path, since there is only one path, the path of love. Then remember that I have often told you that I meet each person where he is. Each of you has his past, which has shaped him and brought him to the point where he now stands. From this point our common path begins more intensely if you decide for it.
To many of you who recognize the signs of the times, it appears as though the light has no chance against the increasingly massive and subtle attacks of darkness. By now darkness no longer hides and scarcely even disguises its intentions, because after careful preparation it has gone on the offensive worldwide.
Whoever wonders where the “counteroffensive” of the light is does not know, or overlooks, that for a long time an immense army of messengers of light (3), too numerous to survey, has been forming, acting on My behalf. The motivation for their decision is to be sought and found in their love for Me and for their brothers and sisters on earth.
Increasingly in recent generations, and especially in these years and decades, many of My faithful have gone into incarnation. And many are still waiting to be allowed to carry My light into your darkness in the time ahead. That is also the reason why you meet more and more of your brothers and sisters through whom I have begun to speak to you. Never before has the number of those in whom My word breaks forth been as great as it is today.
And yet I still need many who recognize themselves as fighters for the light and then make a decision. For it is not enough to have the best intentions before an incarnation; good resolutions, which often are also promises, must be put into practice. That is not easy on your earth, which has become the provisional focal point of satanic attacks. For My adversary and yours does everything possible to prevent My messengers of light from carrying out what they resolved to do.
To this end he makes use of every possible form of influence and temptation. He sets traps so skillfully disguised that they cause sorrow and worry to many of My faithful, even when they are of good will. In this he is a master!
He wants to prevent you from deciding to proclaim My love through your life at all, or to do so more fully.
When I say “through your life,” I mean that above all it is a matter of putting into practice in daily life the knowledge of which most of you have more than enough. It does not mean that you may not speak of Me and of the experiences you have with Me. But it must not become “missionizing,” in which you approach everyone whether or not that person wants to know anything about Me and My love (4).
And at this point, when it comes to putting things into practice, you will notice that following Me requires the whole person, that one cannot walk the path to My heart “with one hand tied behind one’s back,” because it is not enough to know about things or be able to explain connections. It is a matter of gradually changing, at the place where you stand, your conduct toward your fellow human beings and toward yourself so that the “old Adam” is gradually replaced by a “new Adam.” This often requires a little courage and in every case sincere effort, in which I, in Jesus Christ as your divine brother, am at your side.
With Me everything can be achieved. Without Me — that is, through self-will or with the support of questionable “masters” — only superficial and short-lived changes will result, not lasting and profound ones. It may even happen that the intended goal is missed by a wide margin.
If you want to follow My words “Proclaim My love!” and undertake inner work with Me, or perhaps undertake it more seriously and consistently than in the past, you will recognize that My call is like a kind of heading. Behind it lie many chapters, all of which concern your conduct in daily life. It is worthwhile at least once to gain a rough overview of them. At one point or another you will be surprised, because you had not considered that lovelessness can very quickly creep in and spread here too. And finally you will have to realize that there is really nothing that does not require conduct rooted in love for God and neighbor.

Whoever, for example, prays for peace in the world should at the same time look at himself to see whether he already carries within himself the peacefulness he wishes for others. He may find corners that are not yet as brightly illuminated by My light as he thought. But that should be no reason for discouragement; rather, it should move him to set about with Me seeking peace even where until now it was difficult for him or seemed impossible.
The situation is similar with trust. It is relatively easy to speak about it. It is harder to preserve trust in My guidance even when outward circumstances seem to speak a different language. Trust, My beloved, must be practiced. Whoever is willing to do so will find that it develops “almost by itself.” For trust in Me and toward Me arises from the experiences you have had and continue to have with Me. And whoever is willing to entrust himself to Me more and more will also have more and more experiences with Me. Looking back, he will then often recognize with amazement a positive development for himself that previously he would have considered impossible.
Look also at the word “selflessness,” which is itself a chapter under the great heading “love.” Selflessness has countless facets, many of which are overlooked far too quickly. It means thinking first of your neighbor before occupying yourselves with yourselves. But how often do you deceive yourselves by regarding an action as selfless when in reality selfish motives lie behind it. Be honest with yourselves, My beloved. No one demands that you already be selfless to a high degree; but those who want to begin following Me may certainly reflect on the decision to develop greater selflessness than in the past.
These are only three of far more “chapters” that gradually unfold before you when you begin to seek My nearness more and more in your life. During one of the quiet hours that lie before you in the coming days, go within and reflect on “Proclaim My love!” I promise you that I am in your thoughts and will accompany your searching and questioning in such a way that you will come upon the answers that show you the next steps. But do not rush ahead too quickly with a false motivation and in self-will!
It is not the first time I have told you that the path leading into the light consists of small steps (5). Taking these one by one — but steadily! — while knowing Me at your side is one of many little “secrets” that unfold ever more deeply for the one who walks at My hand and does not let it go.
My sons and daughters, the day on which, in My love, I entered the earth and which you celebrate as Christmas has a deep meaning that is largely unrecognized and unknown. It was the turning point in My creation. With it everything changed and everything turned toward the good. Try to celebrate it in the right spirit, and do not let yourselves be too strongly influenced by what has been made of it; knowing well that human beings are very easily seduced into superficial emotional stirrings.
Delight in the lights, the Christmas decorations, the songs that express what it is about. Rejoice when the Christmas story awakens gratitude within you; and also rejoice in the loving gifts that people close to you give you from the heart.
But take care, as far as you are able, to remain inwardly and with Me.

To many of you My words today will seem too serious, not appropriate to the festival of joy. Then read them again calmly and recognize in them the promise fulfilled with My birth. You will then also know that it is seductively false — because it brings you nothing but instead binds you to earthly things — to look at the time ahead through “positively idealized” eyes.
To look ahead positively is not only right, but virtually a command of the hour. But it must happen in the right way: namely in the certainty that despite all statements to the contrary I am there, that I grasp every hand stretched out toward Me, that I can preserve what I created; even if in another form and under other circumstances, which will then be adapted to the New Time.
In this respect you can help contribute — also for yourselves — by striving to keep away from everything that is not constructive. This includes, among other things, your news, which you should consume with a certain inner distance and without being too credulous. Apart from the fact that it can report only a fraction of what happens in your world, it is often manipulated either to keep the truth from coming to light or to spread an oppressive mood.
Instead, come to Me within yourselves more often. There you will find everything you need: My comfort, My strengthening, My confidence, My boundless love. Basically you have everything you need, even if in matter you often find yourselves in unhappy circumstances.
On the one hand you have Me as the One who is life within you and who, through His sacrifice on Golgotha, gave you an additional energy, the Christ spark. On the other hand you have enough instructions and help, often going into the smallest detail, showing how you can put into practice My commandment of love brought through Jesus. If there was ever a time that urgently required this implementation, it is your time.
I bless you, My beloved, and with joy and patience I await the day when I embrace you, and you, and you — all of you — once again.

and take care not to grow weary so often.
