Divine Revelation

My brothers and sisters, what comes from love knows love, for it is a part of it. Everything has emerged from this holy stream of life, and therefore so has each one of you, by which I mean the spiritual being within you.

There is therefore no question about the relationship in which the creature stands to its Creator. Both are eternally connected by a bond that gives the creature a security and a sense of being sheltered so self-evident that there is not even any need to think about how or why it is so. At the same time every creature lives in a freedom beyond human understanding, which forms the foundation for a life in harmony, joy, creative power, and deep affection toward all others, who are loved in the same way and live in the never-ending flow of light and love.

That, My beloved, is your home, heaven, as you call this “place,” which is more like a state.

The bond of love between Me and you is also marked by a basic trust that did not have to be acquired, but is irrevocably established for all time by the fact that I – the source – brought forth you, who are children of this source. Where trust prevails, it is difficult to impossible to sow mistrust or stir up doubt.

On a foundation of trust that, ideally, is as strong as the basic trust that still lies within your soul – though partly buried – it is easiest to walk the path you travel as human beings in order to find your way home again. Without this trust you are often like a leaf in the wind; and the wind, repeatedly freshened by opposing forces, can drive you now in one direction, now in another. But this is not the wish of your soul, which longs to find its purpose and its goal already during your lifetime, especially as outward times become increasingly unsettled.

The “great forgetting” took place when the soul entered your human body, and for good reasons I have already explained to you several times. The memory of your original trust, so important an aspect of your inner security, was affected by this as well. A growing child has to acquire many things for itself; and in the same way the maturing soul must first learn again to gain trust in divine guidance through Me, your brother Jesus Christ.

This is not an easy process, also because negative forces continually try to disturb or prevent this development. The opposing side knows very well that trust is the be-all and end-all, without which a largely continuous advance on your path to Me can scarcely succeed. So it will try again and again to make you uncertain and doubtful. It will build on every “bad” experience you have had in your life and that, because of lack of knowledge and insufficient closeness to Me, you experience as unjust or unloving on My part. Or it will cause your faith in Me and your trust in My help to shrink.

Since human memory began, one of My noblest endeavors has been to awaken in you again this trust in My guidance. For it is infinitely important that you do not stand on unstable ground but are firmly anchored in Me. Ground beneath your feet on which you have no firm footing gives you neither security nor protection.

Now trust cannot simply be acquired at the next opportunity or around the next corner. The one who wants to keep you from entering more fully than before into the adventure with Me knows this too. He exploits your small faith and your impatience, often also your unwillingness and ignorance, in order to deceive you again and again into thinking that it is pointless to entrust yourselves to My guidance. And many of you fall for these ideas only because you have had little experience with Me and shy away from the small effort of coming to Me within yourselves and discussing your small and large worries with Me; and not only discussing them, but unloading them with Me and leaving them with Me.

When you go within and come to Me, at that very moment you connect with the source of all life. Figuratively speaking, you have made Me your partner; we have become a team. You have brought someone “into your boat” who is stronger than everything that exists in the entire visible and invisible universe. Keep this before your eyes, My friend, not just once or twice. As often as it occurs to you, make it part of the treasure of your heart and thoughts: Love, which wants to help you by clearing much debris from the paths ahead and which in every case makes it easier for you to approach and master the tasks before you, then stands and walks at your side! Is there any more joyful, happiness-giving Christmas message than the assurance of My unconditional support?

As soon as you enter into this even more fully than before, the adventure can begin. Do you know what the consequences will be? That you will have more and more experiences with Me; that you will come to Me more and more often; that our being together will become increasingly familiar to you. And the result? Your trust grows. When you face the next problem or difficult decision, you can remember how it was the last time, or how things have gone for you with Me in general.

Trust, and this is not the first time I have told you, arises from the sum of the experiences you have had with Me. In this way you regain something infinitely precious that cannot be bought anywhere: basic trust. At the same time you lay an important, indeed decisive foundation stone for the rest of your life, because the immune system of your soul becomes stronger with every small and large exercise, with every crisis we master together. Then you understand that crises always represent necessary learning tasks whose purpose is to let you become once again a radiant child of God. If you approach the difficulties life sets before you in this way – that is, not by trying to solve them in your own will and by using your ideas and your strength, but by including Me – you will experience things that seem to you like a miracle.

Try Me out. Side effects such as you know from your worldly medicine are excluded. In return, relief, an unobstructed view ahead, growing courage, and increasing clarity are guaranteed. As courage grows, fear gradually dissolves at the same time. For the two are incompatible; one cannot be present where the other is.

Is that not a goal worth aiming for? Is it not also the wish of your human self – it is in any case the wish of your soul – that you cast off everything burdensome, including in inner feelings and thoughts, that has accumulated over the course of your life? Such work cannot be accomplished alone, but with Me at your side it can be mastered with absolute certainty.*)

Love itself, My beloved, cannot be defeated. Therefore attempts are made to harm those who strive to live love. But when they ask the power of love dwelling within them for help when they are under pressure, the tempter too will have to realize that he cannot win. And so one day he too will recognize his wrongdoing and his inability, and finally lower his head and bend his knees, afterward entering the Father’s house again. Then the great arc lasting countless eons, which began with the Fall and ends with the homecoming of all, will have closed.

With this Christmas greeting I strengthen your courage and your willingness to see Christmas also from the perspective of this message. The child in the manger means far more and has much more to tell you than your interpretations contain. He brought you the key for growing again into the basic trust that is part of your divine nature. If, because of vague fears and lack of trust, you are no longer able to decide in the spirit of love, then you have lost part of your freedom. I will give this freedom back to you if you walk with Me. For this you need trust in Me, in My power and possibilities, and belief in My promise.

This is what your divine brother Jesus Christ, the love within the heavenly Father, tells you.

Amen

*) An excerpt from “Is It Me Whom You Love?” fits this:

… I began. “I saw a maze with hedges almost as high as a person, and myself among them, vainly trying to find the exit. Then I saw, above the hedge to my left, the head of an acquaintance who called to me: ‘Ferdinand, I think the exit is just around this corner. Come.’ That was no help to me; I could not get over the hedge. I had to find my own way. Then I noticed a man dressed in white who – rather like the umpire at a tennis match – sat on a high chair and was the only one who had an overview.

‘Shall I guide you?’ he asked. I accepted the offer; things could hardly become worse under his guidance than they had been in my search. ‘Then first go to the right, then straight ahead, right again twice, after a sharp turn go back a few meters …’

‘Wait a moment.’ I had become annoyed. ‘The exit was just very close, directly to my left, one meter away from me. Why should I go to the right and back now?’

The man remained perfectly calm. ‘Do you want to get out of here?’

‘Of course.’

‘Do you know the shortest way?’ he wanted to know. If I had known it, I would not have accepted his offer. ‘Do you believe that I know it?’ he asked.

‘All right.’ I was willing to make another attempt.

‘Left twice, then right; careful, don’t stumble …’

Suddenly I heard my acquaintance. ‘Ferdinand, where are you? You’re letting yourself be led around in circles. I can see you from here. I’m almost out. You’ll be there soon too, only a few more steps to the right.’

Someone also called something to me from the other side. ‘You need to take off your sunglasses; you can’t see anything like that. Then you have to concentrate on your solar plexus and keep muttering “exit, exit, exit” to yourself. And then always keep to the right.’

And someone who was wandering through the labyrinth with me but had apparently found something like a plan advised me to go with him: ‘We’ll be out in two minutes.’

I had stopped. With all the shouting and good advice I no longer knew what to do. The man on the chair, who was something like a guide here, had been silent the whole time.

‘I want to get out of here,’ I shouted.

‘Then please go left and then right once more. Now you should actually be able to see the exit.’

I could see nothing. Then I remembered my pocketknife and took it out. Now I was going to take matters into my own hands. With difficulty I cut a few small holes in the tough hedge and finally tried to squeeze through, although I should have realized that I would not get through there. And I did not get through. A few meters to my right and left, other visitors to the maze were likewise trying to find paths of their own. Like me, they were disappointed. This was not how they too had imagined being guided.

After half an hour, sweaty, dirty, scratched, and bleeding, I gave up. Completely exhausted, I sat down in a corner, looked up at the man and said, ‘Please.’

Then he climbed down from his chair, took me in his arms, and carried me toward the exit.”
