Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, when I called My creation into life from within Myself, it was My desire and will to create beings who were similar to Me; not equal, but similar, which means that they were allowed to call a large part of My qualities and aspects their own forever. They were to be, as you put it, “God-like,” endowed with a power, greatness, and love of which, as human beings, you cannot even remotely form an idea.
Everything that has come forth from the Source of My eternal life is similar to Me. It is not equal to Me, as the so-called masters want you to believe. So you are not God, nor a part or particle of God. You are creatures of My love who carry within yourselves a potential that you can grasp only when you once again live in unity with Me.
Your path to this point is a path of development. The logic of the heart should tell you that it cannot be otherwise. For if you look at yourselves, your surroundings, your history, your consciousness, and growth in nature—simply everything—you will recognize that nothing that is existed all at once “just like that”!
It matured toward the moment in which it is now as it is! And it will continue to unfold for all eternity. For I am eternal and infinite, and what I have created is likewise subject to no limits. Whoever can grasp it, let him grasp it.
The reason I did not create beings obedient to Me who, without a will of their own and without their own decisions, can only follow what My law provides, lies in the fact that free children of My love were to populate My kingdom, which is also their kingdom. For only through freedom, which together with individuality brings forth the diversity of life, is it ensured that everything continually “moves,” that joy and creativity prevail, that what is new is tried and called into life, so that nothing becomes rigid but continually takes new form and advances.
That, My beloved, is evolution. It requires that all creatures be endowed with free will and that they can use and implement it without any restriction. The other, at first glance negative, side of the “coin of free will” includes the possibility—which I consciously accepted—that free will is misused in order to pursue and enforce one’s own ideas, wishes, and goals. Then, however, the one who causes this violates the commandment of love and automatically places himself under the law of sowing and reaping.
Continuous growth includes everything that lives in the infinite expanses of creation. This therefore applies not only to the various stages of development in individual spheres but also to the heavenly beings you call “angels.” Very few of you know that you yourselves are angels who, for the most varied reasons, left your eternal home for a short or longer time. When they have ended their excursion into matter, they too will again be what they were before and then will be forever: angels, consciousness of the highest vibration, inhabitants and participants in My spiritual creation, children of My love who have had their experiences or fulfilled their mission.
Angels too do not come into being in a single moment as finished creatures, spontaneously created through an act of My will. Similar to what happens on earth, they are the result of the intimate love of two spiritual beings. After they have gone through a growth whose first phase, with much imagination, you can compare with an earthly pregnancy, I bless them; and in the care of their parents and brothers and sisters they mature, learn with joy, and gradually unfold the abilities lying within them according to their mentality.*)
So, to use your words, there are “young” and “old” angels. They all carry the same love, My love, within themselves. But through the experiences they have had, through the practice of their active love for everything that lives—for mineral, plant, animal, their spiritual brothers and sisters, and also the human being—this love is developed to different degrees.
This answers the question you have often asked about what angels actually do in heaven. They serve; they all contribute to the smooth interlocking of countless processes. They are occupied, but not because they “have to”; rather, they voluntarily and joyfully contribute their part to the successful working of the great whole.
They receive from Me the energy for their selfless action, for their endurance, overview, decisions, patience, and forbearance. Thus they do not work from themselves; they work on My commission. They do not have to ask separately for strength and power, for they live within the law. And whoever serves the law, the law serves him. This applies in heaven as on earth.

Every angel is free in what he does. But he will do nothing that does not correspond to his talents and possibilities or that is directed against the commandment of love. The Fall, also called the fall of the angels, stands before everyone’s eyes at all times; its devastating consequences can be felt everywhere, and they will be removed from the world only when unity has been restored.
Everyone therefore always acts in such a way that he stands in harmony with everyone and everything, while the emphasis of his activity is determined by his mentality. This is shaped by his heavenly home: from the realm of order, will, wisdom, seriousness, patience, and love all the way to mercy.
Heavenly life is correspondingly varied. The “old” are ready to help the “young,” and the latter want eagerly to learn, thereby gather knowledge and experience, and experience in and upon themselves what evolution means. In this way they grow step by step into greater and more difficult tasks. There are more than enough of these, especially when you consider to what extent and how urgently care, support, assistance, nursing, and protection are needed by those in need in realms outside heaven, which include your earth.
Your angels are involved invisibly in all situations of human life—and also of mineral, plant, and animal life, though I do not want to go into that here. There are those who are present at birth, as well as those whom you call “angels of death”; although they are actually helpers at birth because they help the soul detach itself from the body and find its bearings in its new home.
Still others have made it their task to support you when it comes to very specific learning and research, for example in the many branches of science, music, arts of every kind, and much more; but only when your activity of searching and experimenting lies within the framework of My laws. Many also stand at your side as spiritual teachers, especially when through your searching you express the desire to find the way of truth.
Your imagination is insufficient to form a picture of how often, on what occasions, and in what form you have been raised up and strengthened from the spiritual realm, how often your invisible brothers and sisters have prepared your ways. Only in the rarest cases did you suspect that heaven had had a decisive hand in things.
These helps may be limited in time, or your spiritual companions may change, or the support actually intended may not or only partly take effect because through your conduct you do not permit it. But one thing will never change: that the love and tolerance with which you are guided always stand in the foreground. It cannot be otherwise because no heavenly being carries within himself qualities such as lack of understanding, devaluation, judgment, impatience, or disapproval. Whoever heaven places at your side is so full of brotherly and sisterly love and so far developed that he is equal to every situation.
A special position is occupied by your guardian angel, who may already have accompanied you through several incarnations. Every human being has his personal guardian angel. Between him and you there is a lifelong energetic connection, so that he can intervene instantly—and far more quickly than you can think—when a situation requires it.
Among the many tasks angels have to master, there are certainly easier ones than standing at a human being’s side for an entire life and loving him unconditionally—whatever happens. But in this distribution of tasks too, nothing is assigned; this selfless service of love is undertaken voluntarily and joyfully by one of your spiritual brothers or sisters. Yet it presupposes something in your guardian angel: alongside the qualities of tolerance, understanding, and patience already mentioned, also accepting every rejection without there being an “inner withdrawal” on the part of your angel or a reduction of his love, not even when a human being does everything possible to go through the world ruthlessly with his enormous ego.
And your angel must be able to do something else that most human beings do not manage, or at least find difficult: in his activity he is guided exclusively by the justice of the law of cause and effect without thereby disregarding My principles of love and mercy. This means that he must be able to allow the human being entrusted to him to experience something apparently negative when he recognizes that only in this way can the path to self-knowledge and change be cleared. Thus he will not take away and spare him a necessary learning process. On the contrary, he will do everything in his power—for he acts with My authority—to cause the human being to awaken and turn back, while taking care that awakening and turning back are connected with as little pain as possible.
In short: he has the overview; he never gives up; he is incorruptible; he is full of love; and he rejoices over every thought of him that comes from an open heart. But with all his love for you—precisely because of his love for you—he has first and foremost your inner healing and wholeness in view. For with regard to your immortal life, the growth of your soul is decisive, while your present life is indeed important but represents only the blink of an eye in eternity, only a small stretch on the way that leads back to Me.

What I created and create is perfect. This does not mean that it does not still have to grow and unfold. A seed too is already perfect; it already carries within itself the fruit that must still ripen.
Even your scholars and interpreters of Scripture do not suppose that I am the author of what is faulty. They solve the problem of the nevertheless-existing disharmonious, sick, and incomplete by saying that the human being cannot penetrate the mysteries of God. With regard to the depths of My divinity and wisdom this is true, but not with regard to the fact that My love for My creatures cannot be explained in the face of all the calamity that happens in personal life and also worldwide.
The deeper reason for this attitude lies in the non-acknowledgment of the fact that the law of sowing and reaping, mentioned in your Scriptures, operates not only from the present into the future but also from the past into the present. The false teaching of a single life makes complete the ignorance and uncertainty of all those people who give credence to this teaching. The worst excesses of your church leaders’ need for explanation appear in their statements that I punish those who do not follow My commandments!
You can find the reason for their conduct, for stubbornly holding to the false dogmatic teaching of a single earthly life, if you ask yourselves a few simple questions: What would happen if human beings were released from the constricting corset of this rule of faith into the freedom of their own thinking and recognized that I am neither illogical nor unjust? And therefore that there is no one-time act of creation by Me, often appearing faulty as well, when new human life arises? And what would happen if human beings came to know that I live within them? That they therefore have direct access to Me, a contact that has existed from eternity and will exist for all eternity and can never be interrupted by anything or anyone?
If something is faulty, then there must have been something in its past that brought about this imperfection. And again I ask you to use your intellect, which—as you know—fulfills its task best as the right hand of the heart. Or put differently: make use of the freedom of your thinking!
If I am not the One who sends misfortune, worries, illnesses, calamity, and much more, then somewhere on your path from your original perfection into your present imperfection something must have happened, and something serious. For it was and never is My intention—because it lies far from My nature—to take away from you again all that I previously gave you with the provision that you keep it for all time.
You are a child of My love, a child of the heavens. You were perfect; inwardly you still are. But on earth, in your present situation, you recognize that there is still quite a bit to develop in order to become again what you once were in full consciousness of your divine childhood.
In your reflections, the point should not be to find out what it was that brought you to earth and to your present place, to the current point of your present incarnation. Far more important is to recognize the opportunities this incarnation offers and to use them in the spirit of love lived out. The necessary realizations and the conclusions to be drawn from them can best be gained by a soul when, after its incarnation, it finds itself again in a world of diversity, opposites, and the most varied views, intentions, and pursuits.
Then, My child, you find yourself confronted with people who inwardly “move” you, who challenge you, who cause you to ask and question, who lead you to reflect on the meaning and purpose of the whole. On a lonely island you could at most complain of lack of entertainment and variety. There would be no progress there in terms of further development of the soul.

And so I acted by making the earth—a result of the fall of the angels and its consequences—a gathering place for all souls willing and ready to incarnate. It is therefore the most important planet in the material cosmos for your development and ascent. While on other stars and in subtle realms outside heaven the principle “like attracts like” obviously applies, on earth this law comes into effect only indirectly.
Here too people are brought together for the purpose of realization and learning. This happens alongside the possibility of orienting oneself by an example, but first and foremost through their being bothered and stirred up by the contrary conduct of the other person or persons, becoming angry about it or even violent. In this way, sooner or later, they will be led to recognize what still lies within them as wrong conduct needing correction.**)
In the “gathering place of earth” you therefore find the most varied degrees of consciousness, which however must not be confused with education, origin, intelligence, or even intellect. To understand this arrangement, imagine a small village community whose school has only one classroom in which all children—regardless of age, knowledge, ability to learn, and willingness to learn—are taught.
Now comes the limitation, and with that you enter the ground of reality: No one knows the other more closely; everyone looks only at outward appearances. The standard for judging the other person is always one’s own view, and in many cases acceptance of the other’s conduct is virtually absent. Instead, prejudice, devaluation, and condemnation prevail. No one knows who his neighbor really is, just as he himself does not know who he is and why he is here.
Apply this image to your life, your surroundings, to the people with whom you live and work and whom you meet, and you must acknowledge that you recognize or know very little; indeed, you are not even aware that you live in a melting pot into which, as a rule, you entered quite consciously in order to take your next learning steps.
And nevertheless the temptation is constantly present to expect or even demand from your neighbor what, in your view, is right! Have you ever reflected that the other person simply cannot behave differently from the way he does? Because he has no other realizations and no other consciousness and perhaps does not even want to make other decisions—he has free will!—or cannot? Because his inner life is his inner life, and his “conditions of soul” may be entirely different from what you assume, expect, or desire?
Everyone stands at the point of his own entirely personal evolution. And no one except himself brought him there.
Bringing together human beings of different consciousness has the sole purpose of advancing the development of the soul, which—contrary to other teachings—has not reached its high point even when the immortal soul leaves the dying body to continue living in other, subtle worlds. Your inner maturity is initiated and fostered by your first “rubbing against” one another, then learning from it and endeavoring to take your steps that bring you closer to love.
Your guardian angel accompanies you in this process. He continually tries to help you; he meets you where you presently stand; he plans and prepares your next step, which builds upon what you have developed up to this moment; and—he never overburdens you.
If he had not unfolded within himself these and other selfless abilities, which fundamentally lie within everyone, including you, he would not be able to help in the way his charge needs: without valuation, without prejudice, unconditionally, patiently, and without condemnation.
In this he resembles a good physician, who can make a correct diagnosis and prescribe the corresponding therapy only if he meets his patient with an open and compassionate heart, independently of how the patient presents himself, how severe his illness is, and what causes or wrong conduct underlie it.

If you want to know, My child, what proper conduct toward your neighbor—the unknown being who is not by chance in the same class as you—looks like, then call to mind the conduct of your guardian angel and your spiritual companions. It is not without reason that I spoke of the qualities your helpers have—must have—because otherwise they could not successfully fulfill their serving task.
And when you recognize that there is a good reason you are incarnated, you will come to a point in your reflections that leads you to ask to what extent you can contribute to understanding, harmony, and clarity. One possibility for your inner work could be to see your neighbor with different eyes from those with which this was possible for you until now, and in the future to act differently toward him. If you endeavor to do so, the power of the heavens will flow to you; for every step, even the smallest, is supported by Me and accompanied by those who are invisibly around you and love you.
The more your inner understanding opens, the more you recognize the truth in My words, the more you affirm within yourself the readiness to move forward, the greater your longing will become and the more your love for Me, your neighbor, and yourself will grow. The consequence will be that you think, speak, and act differently; and from this in turn it follows that the power of My love can flow to you in increased measure.
This will lead you to become freer and more loving, and through the experiences you have with Me to an increasing degree, your understanding will become different, and you will recognize and internalize My great plan, which says: I am love, and I bring back to Me everything that has left the heavens; which at the same time means that no one will be lost.
Everyone is woven into a constant evolution, an infinite development that always advances, even if it often appears otherwise. But, as I once revealed to you: Every life proceeds on a circular path whose endpoint will inevitably end where everything began.
So it will be, because I will it so.
