Divine Revelation
My sons and daughters, My children of love! You are creatures born of My love, and you will return to My love. All of you, without exception. That this will happen is founded in My law, which nothing and no one can evade or overturn. When this will happen lies in your hands—and exclusively in your own hands—through your insight and willingness to transform the facets of your ego in the spirit of love with My help.
Even if this seems to some of you a harsh, perhaps even unmerciful statement, and everything within you resists acknowledging its absoluteness: the freedom I have given all My children—which at the same time means that I do not interfere with their will—brings with it a high degree of personal responsibility. You cannot have one without the other. Underlying this is a consistency that alone makes possible the flawless functioning of My creation and the precise intermeshing of all its small and large “wheels”; a consistency that My human children very often fail to show in their thinking and actions. They often make rotten compromises and then wonder that disorder, even chaos, and dissatisfaction, even conflict, are the consequences.
The operation of My laws—that is, allowing effects to follow a cause previously set against the commandment of love—never changes anything about My unconditional love for My creatures. On the contrary, it is an instrument of My love that ensures that no one is lost and that all find their way home again: matured, rich in experience, conscious bearers of My divine virtues, and unshakably strong in their love.
And the word “unconditional” already says that My love is not tied to conditions. It remains with everyone in every circumstance and is never clouded by retaliation or restrictions of the kind human beings know and apply. If the continual inflow of My love-energy nevertheless diminishes—though it can never run dry—this is not because of Me, but because of contrary thinking and action that the human being has chosen by free will.
In this way he himself builds up blockages that, in the worst case, can lead to the stream of My power, which sustains soul and body, eventually becoming no more than a trickle. Even if the effects are not always immediately visible outwardly—although difficulties and blows of fate could provide an occasion for reflection—they inevitably leave traces in the soul; traces that determine life in the beyond, which follows earthly life immediately.1)
I once told you that I am no bookkeeper, which means that with Me there is no law of “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.” My mercy stands above the law of sowing and reaping and comes into effect when I see sincere remorse and earnest effort to turn back, but the possibilities for doing so are limited for various reasons. Grace or mercy is something you may regard as a kind of “crowning” of My nature. But it would be wrong and dangerous to rely on it as long as you still carry within you the capacity for self-knowledge and decision. I will not take from you the work on your character that follows from this, the “inner work”; for you cannot return to your eternal home without having learned—here on earth or in the realms beyond—what you still lack in the capacity to love.
I know the great need of My human children and their desire to be taken by the hand again and again and to receive words of comfort, encouragement, and strengthening. Yes, because of human imperfection, it is virtually a necessity to encourage you, to remind you of My love, but also to shake you awake again and again; for there is a constant danger that you will become careless and fall back into old habits. To support you continually in your efforts is fatherly care. It will accompany My human children for as long as there are still “lost sheep” whom I, as the good shepherd, will seek, find, and bring home.
This also includes not leaving My children unclear about the path they have already traveled and the steps required in order to walk the path still ahead of them with as few major hindrances and setbacks as possible. Only when they recognize the great mosaic in which their present life is merely one small stone—the most important of several or many, because it is always in the here and now that the course must be set—do many questions answer themselves almost of their own accord. Then I no longer remain the often misunderstood or even rejected authority who is portrayed as love yet, because of many seeming inconsistencies, cannot at the same time be recognized as love.
Then it will be easier for you to accept My words as “coming from love,” even if, as mentioned at the beginning, they may seem harsh or unmerciful to some. They are meant to help you enter more deeply into an understanding of My justice, which embraces all creatures; they are meant to help you build ever greater trust in My guidance; and they are meant to help you recognize how important it is to shape your daily life with My Christ-power living within you. And when necessary, they will also be brought to you, or recalled to your mind, with the seriousness required.
My caring assistance is therefore virtually a necessity; it is part of My selfless love, because the human being, for the most part ignorant, is continually exposed to the temptations and attacks of a world in which the opposing forces conduct their struggle against Me and against you. Even if you repeatedly forget it because a world that still appears more or less intact is held up before you, and because your inner connection with Me has in many cases not yet attained the firmness and permanence that would be desirable: you are within the sphere of influence of satanic forces! Through your incarnation you entered matter and with it the platform on which, for an unimaginably long time, the direct confrontation between light and darkness has been taking place. Without My constant companionship and support, no one would be able to escape these negative currents, withstand the attacks, and emerge victorious from this struggle.

With My following words, may those to whom they apply feel addressed:
Is this really the first time you have heard or read about the law of cause and effect? Or that the adversary goes about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour? Or the parable of the beam in one’s own eye that a person does not see? Or that the person who loves his life in this world will lose it? Or that I am the light of the world, and that whoever follows Me will not remain in darkness but will have the light of life? Or the statement that in the Father’s house there are many dwelling places? Or the commandment to love oneself as well? Not to mention the commandment to love one’s enemies, which presents a great challenge? And when praying the “Our Father,” do you encounter for the first time the passage: “…and forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors”?
At least Christendom knows all these passages of Scripture—and many, many more. It has known them for 2,000 years; and yet the gulf between Me and My children who identify themselves as My followers by belonging to a corresponding religion is greater than ever before.
My words, even when they are clear and unmistakable, never contain reproach. To reproach someone for using the gift of free will to live according to his ideas and wishes is a contradiction in itself. That is why My explanations always and exclusively serve to draw your attention to the things taking place in the background; to what has led to its being so difficult to put good intentions into practice and make them permanently part of new and more loving conduct—including toward yourselves. They are intended as very concrete help for those who want to make progress on their way to Me and for whom “following Me” is not an abstract concept.
No human being could go through daily life without being able to rely on learned behavior in the many actions he continually performs; otherwise every step and every reaction—even in thought!—would constantly represent a new beginning following a decision first made anew. Life would be impossible in that way.
Through the experiences each person has had, shaped by many kinds of influences, an individual pattern of behavior has developed that forms part of his consciousness. Throughout a lifetime, through thinking and action, the human being has acted upon the spiritual part, upon his soul, and conversely the soul in turn has acted upon the human being. At so-called death, the soul passes into the beyond in its “current” condition, with all the good and less good with which the human being has endowed it. In a new incarnation the soul enters a new earthly body. Is it strong? Is it weakened? Does it have a high or a low vibration? That depends on what it recognized and was able to change on the other side; otherwise it brings with it once again the same or largely the same characteristics, its more or less strongly developed energetic potential.2)
The opposing side also knows how strongly human beings are governed by their habits and patterns of behavior. It therefore does everything it can to reinforce those aspects of character in people that draw them into the world and thus away from everything spiritual, and that strengthen their ego in many ways. It tries to delay the process of your awakening and realization for as long as possible, or to prevent it. In this way it uses you as suppliers of the life-energy it so urgently needs and sees no necessity to set out on the path of turning back itself. At the same time it places an increasingly rigid corset around soul and human being, until in the end only little room remains for the things that are truly important in life.
Thus the human being reacts more and more automatically in thinking and action, which in many cases can indeed be necessary for life and survival, but can equally become a major obstacle when it is a matter of initiating a spiritual change of direction and acquiring new equipment in keeping with My example as Jesus of Nazareth. And even where darkness cannot seduce a person toward what is negative, it is not dissatisfied; for it is often enough for darkness if a person simply remains as he is, because that means stagnation and therefore the opposite of evolution, of moving forward on the way to your eternal home.

Leaving well-worn tracks is not easy. Most of you have traveled along them for a lifetime—not always happily or enthusiastically, but nevertheless more or less contentedly. And now something is supposed to change? Negative thoughts are to become positive? A material worldview, which your own senses daily make seem thoroughly realistic, is to be replaced by a higher spiritual perspective? Conduct toward an unfriendly neighbor or unjust superior that feels “justified” is to be given up so that understanding—and, as a further step, even love—can take its place? The law of cause and effect is henceforth to be applied also, or especially, to your own life? Tolerance, forbearance, forgiveness, and much more are to be practiced and eventually lived, even though it would be so much easier to go on behaving as before?
My beloved, one or another of you may notice at this point what it means to follow Christ in your life. In every case it means more than merely believing, more than merely belonging to a church, merely quoting the Bible, merely saying a prayer, merely accumulating knowledge, merely sitting back and waiting, and much more. Nor is it enough simply to refrain from evil. My teaching was: strive for what is good and do it, including and especially toward those who are not well disposed toward you. In this way you develop the capacity to love for which you consciously or unconsciously long.
Is this standard set too high? Too high for those who carry within themselves the desire, through their own transformation, to contribute also to a change in their surroundings and ultimately to the transformation of the world?
Leaving paths that you may have been walking for many incarnations first requires a decision, perhaps also a measure of courage, but in every case perseverance and a refusal to be deterred. And—ideally—it presupposes a great longing and love for Me, your Father; naturally also a deep trust that will grow to the degree that you enter into the adventure with Me.
It is not enough merely to oppose the attempts of the opposing side with a declaration of intent. Your habitual attachments are too strong for that; they cannot be replaced or transformed in this way. Yet with your decision—even if at the moment it is still very “small”—for a life of love lived out, you express that you want to make the effort in future to do this or that differently than before. That, My son, My daughter, is enough for Me at the beginning. It is a good beginning.
But be aware that your effort faces a long-practiced pattern of behavior that—to a lesser degree in one person and more strongly in another—claims its “customary right” to continue directing you. In order to dissolve in your soul, your consciousness, and your subconscious something that accompanied you for a long time, My help and your inner work are needed.
When you feel the desire to change something in your thinking and actions in the spirit of selfless love, I am present with all My power. I am then the One who—figuratively speaking—holds your hand or protects you, like a “big brother at your side.” Under certain circumstances, however, you will experience that you do not succeed at once in freeing yourselves from the shadows of the past. Old, cherished programs cannot always be reversed immediately; in such cases you may assume that forces are still at work that try to sabotage your efforts by acting again and again upon weaknesses still present within you.
But that should not trouble you. For when you undertake your inner work with Me, a power is available to you that in the long run nothing can resist: love. Yet you need to know—if only so that you are not disappointed and immediately give up again—that a 180-degree turn cannot necessarily be completed from one day to the next. The length of time the habit was previously practiced and also a lack of will, because you still flirt a little with the past and with the advantages of former conduct, play no insignificant role.
It can certainly happen that, with an appropriate seriousness joined with good will—without this becoming fanaticism!—changes occur that you call “miracles.” Rejoice when this happens to you, for it bears witness to sincere intention and great love for Me. But it can equally be that you must have patience; though not in the sense of: “I have given it to the Lord; now I will quietly wait and see what happens.”
That, My sons and daughters, will not work! And perhaps now you also understand why in the past some things did not go or turn out as you had imagined, even when your good intention was present, but insight into your own part and the necessary remorse were lacking.
Consistently set against the temptations to retain old habits—even if only to practice them now and then—your inward turning toward Me, or better still, your surrender to Me. If necessary, do so again and again. In this way break the vicious circle in whose origin you were not without a part, even if only because you allowed corresponding conditioning to take place. Come to Me immediately when you sense a reaction building within you or a desired idea spreading that does not accord with love.
There are many ways to put this into practice. Find your own personal way, whether it is a positive image, a cry for help, a brief prayer, or a request for assistance. The words and the form are not decisive. What matters is that you do it; that you do not rely on the idea that everything is all right because you believe in Me, because you belong to the “right” religious community, or because you have made your inner being strong by acquiring knowledge.
I have often warned you about the danger of accumulating knowledge. Accumulating knowledge becomes an end in itself and is therefore worthless with regard to reaching the goal before you. Whoever acts in this way resembles a person who gathers information upon information about a journey to another country, but through all his reading and study of the route and conditions there neglects to set out on the journey itself.
That is not what I taught as Jesus of Nazareth. My instruction can be reduced to the simple formula: love—and nothing else.

On Golgotha I placed My redeeming power in every soul and every human being so that you would be able to take the steps of character transformation described above. Why else would I have given you My Christ-power if I had not intended thereby to help you and if I did not desire that you use this power for your journey home!?
Recognize, My sons and daughters, the love and the truth in My words. Recognize in them My great longing for you, a longing that also lies in your hearts. Through this eternal connection I will bring you back to Me into an indescribable glory. When can or will this happen? As soon as you begin to put into practice what I have written into your heart with My words.
If you hear and also believe that you are already able to believe, but My truth has not yet become your truth, and yet this is your heartfelt desire, then ask Me to help you make it inwardly your own. Otherwise it will hardly be possible for you to remain calm and composed when problems occupy you and difficulties come upon you. You may know My laws and, as long as nothing serious enters your life, even be able to speak about them or explain them intellectually. But as soon as you are confronted with suffering and situations that are difficult to understand, your “human self” gets in the way and once again calls into question much that previously seemed logical and understandable to you.
That, My dear ones, is a sign that the heart is not yet working with what the head already knows. Build for yourselves an unshakable foundation by coming to Me again and again with your questions and uncertainties. Turn what you have read and heard over in your heart so that it becomes firmly rooted and thus also becomes your truth. From your acknowledgment of the law of sowing and reaping—without ifs or buts—you can, for example, see to what degree you have already overcome your former doubts about My justice.
I will give you the understanding you need to the degree that it is good for your inner maturing, if you desire it. In this way, little by little, you will find the rest of heart and soul for which you long so deeply.
My words are adapted to the seriousness of your time. And yet everyone can and will discover the love within them if he seeks it with a burning heart.
