Divine Revelation
My sons and daughters, I am! This word does not even remotely express what it contains in greatness, depth, power, perfection, absoluteness, boundlessness, and more. Human language is not suited to making My all-embracing divinity comprehensible. No creature, not even your heavenly brothers and sisters who live with Me in the eternal light, can penetrate to the furthest reaches of My being—not because I conceal anything from them or selfishly keep secrets to Myself, but because nothing that has been created is of the same rank and magnitude as the power that created it.
You can translate the “I am” as “God is everything,” as is often enough done, but just as often it is simply said without reflecting on the deep meaning of this simple truth or truly grasping it. Whoever believes it and in doing so uses the logic of the heart that I teach you must—if he follows the thought through—arrive at insights that often turn his previous worldview upside down; and he will have to ask himself questions that are not always comfortable, whose answers could move him to want to change some things. Yet among them there will also be many answers that let him breathe a sigh of relief, because what previously amounted only to a vague hope suddenly becomes certainty: much that had been unresolved, or even frightening and burdensome, now suddenly appears in a brighter light and within a life-affirming future.
Because My simple teaching of love, which I gave you as Jesus of Nazareth, was altered and falsified at decisive points, My human children lack the right guidance for a direct, intense, joyful, and trusting life together with Me. And because these alterations and falsifications have not been reversed to this day, most people—if they live any religious life at all—live it on a false foundation, on unstable ground, and humanity becomes more and more entangled. It has slipped into the lowlands of a fate it created for itself. What will the fruits of this seed look like?
Distress becomes great and greater; accusations directed against Me increase, as do cries for help and prayers. Uncertainty and unbelief have spread, and the forces of darkness try to conceal them with distractions of every kind, with trivialities and irrelevancies, and with an intensified focus on supposedly daily necessities. In reality they are only waiting for the seed to sprout. The first signs can no longer be overlooked. Only the ignorant, the unbelieving, those who do not know, and those who simply live from day to day still keep their eyes closed.
A traveler in unfamiliar terrain whose hiking map has been taken away without his knowledge and replaced by a map with false place names and missing directions will very probably lose his way, especially if he blindly trusts the map before him and the assurances that it is the correct one.
All human beings are like travelers. Most do not even know that they are on a journey. Without much thought they hold to what has been handed down or long established; sometimes they recognize the illogic and errors in the explanations given to them about the meaning of their lives, but most of the time—if they notice the inconsistencies at all—they pass over them, for they have learned: “You must not ask any further here, however contradictory or unjust what God is doing may be. God does not let anyone look at His cards.” And in the background invisible to you, the negative forces rub their hands with satisfaction …

My “I am,” because it embraces everything, also contains My law. Many of My human children do not care much for the word “law” in connection with God. For them I am love; they would prefer to set everything else aside because it challenges them to reflect on how far their lives are in harmony with My law.
I am love! Love in a form that your eternal spirit within you knows and toward which it—you—strives again; love that, as human beings, you cannot yet begin to imagine in all its fullness. In quiet moments it has already touched you, perhaps moved you to tears, kindled your longing, and raised you up again when you had no strength. You have all already experienced it, often without consciously perceiving it at the time. Whoever is spiritually awake knows that it determines his life without interruption, for it is the power that sustains everything—directly, always, and forever.
Love is My nature; love is the foundation of My creation, visible and invisible. But that does not mean that everything else is insignificant. You too, if you want to shape your lives successfully, must meet your daily obligations. You must put things in order, carry them out with determination and the necessary seriousness, without neglecting wisdom and often enough practicing patience as well, to name only a few of the “secondary matters” that are often placed far, far behind love because love, after all, is the most important thing.
That it is and remains, but when misunderstood it becomes an instrument that darkness gladly and successfully uses to block your path to Me. My words “love—and nothing else” do not mean that, while disregarding other laws, you should merely restrict yourselves to agreeable behavior so that people will like you, because you think that otherwise you would violate the commandment to love God and your neighbor.
It means that there is no need to try to make Me “gracious” through other efforts and exertions, by fulfilling rules devised by human beings, observing prohibitions, and cultivating customs, rites, and traditions. There lies the grave error: believing that this has any influence whatever on the salvation of the human soul or is pleasing in My eyes. Pagan belief went, and still goes, so far as to believe that one must offer Me a sacrifice as atonement for guilt. But your Christian false belief is more than merely an error as well, because it was deliberately placed into the world in order to flatten and dilute My commandment of love. I spoke of this not too long ago.*)
I know very well that one can become accustomed to many outward things, which then often become a substitute religion while the core of true religious life recedes more and more into the background. Such cherished customs are experienced as a loss when one is supposed to do without them; they are a kind of corset in which one feels safely held and with which one is familiar. What might the solution to this problem look like?
Whoever is asked to leave something behind or let it go will do so voluntarily or even joyfully—and that alone is what matters—only if he receives an equivalent or better replacement for it. A life with Me, a real, true, shared life in everyday existence, would be such a compensation; it would be far more than that. But to experience and practice this requires first of all that the human being know the fact that I live in everything I have created! It requires knowledge of spiritual laws, including the knowledge of My presence within you, My omnipresence in everything.
So I live within you as well. I am the love within you, the power with which you can speak and which answers you, directly and indirectly. I am more than all outward things can ever be. I am the only One who can do what is the desire of your soul—and perhaps already of your human self as well: to change you permanently, in the depths of your being, toward what is good and positive; and to do so without pressure, without reproach, without prohibitions, without conditions or prejudice. No one else can do this; outward things and techniques cannot do it. It makes everything beyond “love—and nothing else” unnecessary.
If you recognize and acknowledge the truth in My words, if little by little you wish to free yourself from all attachments, then come to Me, speak with Me, and I will help you grow into your inner connection with Me.

I never utter a prohibition, because that is incompatible with the free will of My creatures. All religions—or better: ideologies—of this world have prohibitions in their teachings and instructions. And those who take their faith seriously observe these prohibitions according to their ability, which is not always easy and often enough leads to inner tensions and outward difficulties.
My instructions to My children are commandments, not prohibitions. They are grounded in My love and show the way by which you can go through life more easily, joyfully, and confidently than before. They demand nothing; they help. They do not burden; they support. They darken nothing; they enlighten. They do not threaten; they give courage. They do not constrict; they set free.
And yet many people find it difficult to become familiar with My laws and apply them in their lives—even if only in rudimentary form—so that they follow the much harder mistaken path of rules based on prohibitions without ever thinking about whether this actually makes sense; and without asking themselves whether their religious practice has made them freer, more loving, more serene, free of fear, more knowing, and inwardly stronger. Most do not do this simply because they were never taught that such things should be a consequence of their religious practice.
I gave part of the knowledge of My laws to those whom I taught during My earthly life, insofar as their consciousness permitted and insofar as they were able to understand it. Because many followed Me full of joy and enthusiasm, more and more of the truths and wisdom of the heavens gradually opened within them, as happens with everyone who walked or walks the path with Me. They were familiar with many aspects of My great “body of rules of love”—by which I mean the laws that govern My creation.
Suppressing this knowledge and disfiguring it with the aim of making the destination difficult to reach by means of misleading directions became a principal task of the opposing side. During the first decades this scarcely succeeded, because an inner experience stood against it that no interpretation, however subtle, could shake. This eventually changed because of the massive action of the forces of darkness. The signpost was twisted around, the travel map was overwritten; the destination continued to be described, though only vaguely, but many travelers—with the best intentions throughout—strayed from the direct path.
The fact that I am love, and that as Jesus Christ I accomplished redemption, could not be removed from the world; for I burn as eternal longing in every heart, and this flame cannot go out. But if I am reduced to commandments and prohibitions, if I am banished as the distant God into the vastness of an unknown heaven, if I am silenced because My teaching of love for enemies and forgiveness and My enlightening revealed word do not correspond to the ideas of My self-appointed followers, then even for the most well-intentioned and eager-to-learn person it becomes difficult to find the trace of truth in a thicket of false ideas.
And without knowledge of My laws and their application, the way back may become a very long one. But with this knowledge and its implementation in daily life, at My hand and with My help, the power of the forces of darkness is broken; and in the end they too will come to realize and find their way home, back into My arms, for those who have fallen, their followers, and those seduced by them are also My children and your brothers and sisters.
Because return, together with insight, remorse, and making amends, is not in the interest of darkness, its endeavor was and still is to keep human beings in ignorance and bind them to what is negative, to the law of cause and effect, and to the wheel of rebirth.
That is why it was so important to the forces of darkness to declare My simple teaching of love, in which I include the Sermon on the Mount, “unsuitable for everyday life,” to make parts of it incomprehensible, and to embellish it with all kinds of additions that distract from the necessary personal effort.
And that is why now, in your time, when all values are being turned upside down, it is so important that you recognize the connections that until now have been concealed from you or falsely presented; but also that you use your intellect and work—in love—with the logic of the heart, so that you can no longer be deceived. For as My sons and daughters, who carry My wisdom within yourselves, you must learn to recognize how the adversary works. This applies not only to your inner path to Me but also to what is taking place on your earth. Without knowing spiritual laws and applying them to the events of your world, you are like a reed helplessly moved by the wind first in one direction, then in another.

From the many aspects of My laws I take one in order, first, to show you by this example how My teaching has been distorted and, second, to make you more sensitive to using the logic of your heart and in this way finding correct answers for yourselves. It concerns My mercy, forgiveness by Me, but also your ability—and, in the long term, the necessity—to forgive and to ask for forgiveness.
The love that I am carries no trace whatever of retaliation, revenge, or punishment. Nor do I bear grudges. I therefore do not react with any countermeasures, as is usual among you human beings. If someone violates My divine law, I do not take it personally. No one can hurt Me, no one can insult Me, no one can “strike Me inwardly,” because I, as perfection, cannot be reached by attempts of this kind.
Human thinking and feeling have attributed such qualities to Me because people could not imagine what love is able to bear and willing to forgive. An honest look, free from every negative human tendency, at the conduct of Jesus before His crucifixion and later on Golgotha could have enabled you to recognize the truth.
The free will of every creature is the key to the correct answer to the question of whether I am able to forgive everything without ifs or buts. Can you imagine giving someone absolute freedom over his actions and then punishing him for using that freedom? The answer is obvious: that cannot be. And if he misuses it? He has the freedom to misuse it! This possibility of misuse was taken into account from the outset by Me, the “giver of freedom,” because with any restriction whatsoever it would not have been perfect freedom.
But I had to build a rule into My law that points out to the one who, with his freedom, disregards the law of love that his conduct is contrary to the law and moves him, sooner or later, to change his behavior. With the first misuse, the law of cause and effect came into effect.
Every action contrary to the law produces disharmony; disharmony creates disorder. This cannot endure in the long run, because otherwise the structure of creation would be endangered. Therefore My will leads everything that has fallen out of harmony and order back into the state and place that ensures perfect coexistence founded on love. Once the original unity has been restored, or once there is even an honest, heartfelt desire to leave sinful conduct behind and act differently in the future, there is no reason to discipline the one responsible any further, to sit in judgment over him, or to refuse a sincere request for forgiveness. For I, your Father, do not bear grudges, seek revenge, become angry, or chastise you because of your transgression. No matter what you may have been told.
So come to Me, My beloved child. Go within; there I live. There you can lay down your worries, there you can speak with Me. If this happens in the realization that you have acted wrongly, if remorse weighs upon your heart, and if you ask Me for forgiveness for your loveless, selfish, or emotion-driven thinking and conduct—then in that very moment you are forgiven! The scale-pan that until now carried your guilt is empty.
This does not mean that what you caused may not, under certain circumstances, have to be made good again. For a balance, energetic and perhaps material as well, must be created so that the two pans of the scale settle again at the same height. Nor does it mean that you no longer need to go to the person or persons affected. There too you must ask forgiveness for your wrong conduct; and you must forgive yourself as well, if that is necessary.
But through your inward turning toward Me you are freed from the burden on your soul that made you unhappy and unfree. This alone can be accomplished only by My immeasurable love and My mercy, which open the doors for you to a new, unburdened span of your earthly life, even if there is still much to learn, even if inner work still awaits you.
So I never hold you in any form of guilt—provided you are remorseful and endeavor to practice different conduct. It is My adversary and yours who keeps you in feelings of guilt, for the more human beings bury themselves in defiance, fear, and depression through their ignorance, the more easily he can guide and influence them.
You can reduce it to this simple formula: Remorse that sets you free is from Me, because it shows you the path that leads you to Me. Feelings of guilt are from the devil!
The same ability and greatness to forgive others who have harmed or hurt you also lies within you. If you are not yet ready to do so, I ask you to consider that by this you harm yourselves. For sooner or later unforgiveness always turns against the one who does not take the hand extended toward him, or who continues to “feed the animal within” that does not let him come to rest.
“Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors …”

This example stands for one among many. It shows you how indispensable it is to learn to know and understand My laws that have arisen from love. In this way you awaken more and more and begin to think and act on your own responsibility. In this way you become sons and daughters of My love who, together with many others, have set out to proclaim My love through their lives.
My blessing rests upon you for such a decision. It rests upon all who follow Me earnestly and who therefore do not merely read or hear My words but apply them in their lives.
