Divine Revelation
My sons and daughters, you say so often that I am love. When, as not infrequently happens, this is merely said because you have heard or read it, such words leave hardly any trace within you. Then they are like sound and smoke. But when they come from an open heart, they are borne by your deep conviction; then you have also already experienced how My divine love has worked in your life.
If those experiences were accompanied by beautiful and pleasant events, it is relatively easy to come to Me, your heavenly Father, with a childlike thank-you. But when life presents you with a learning process that is not infrequently connected with suffering and worries, then it is not always easy—sometimes it becomes very difficult or even impossible for you—to recognize My love in it, to maintain your faith, and not to lose your trust.
“Life presents you with a learning process” means that My flawlessly functioning law becomes effective, often at a time that takes you completely by surprise and in a way you do not understand. I am the law—the law of love; you cannot see Me and My law as separate. And yet it is not I as a person, as many of you mistakenly imagine, who sends you a misfortune or a blow of fate. In such cases My law has become effective because of events lying in the past. It works with absolute precision. You sometimes describe such a thing by saying “God allowed it,” which is not false, but often carries the undertone that I as a person—as a punishing, avenging, or retaliating authority—somehow still “had My fingers in it.”
No. In such a case the “spiritual rules of the game” have come into force, just as happens with your earthly laws when there has been a violation. None of you would think of personally blaming your rulers for the corresponding response—unless, of course, you object fundamentally to the laws of your earthly leaders.
Applied to Me and you, that would mean: You reject My laws, which, because of your free will, is your good right. But then you cannot at the same time speak of Me as love, for My law and I are one!
Whoever therefore says yes to Me, eternal love, or at least believes in Me, thereby at the same time says yes to the law that governs My creation. One cannot exist without the other.
Knowing this is infinitely important for your way back to Me, for your inner work, because otherwise—with all your love for Me—you are often helpless and disappointed when, for lack of the right “tool” and the necessary knowledge and insight, you make no progress. That is why I lead you ever deeper into My wisdom; for I do not desire yes-men and blind believers, but sons and daughters who learn to think and decide independently. Only in this way is it ensured that you do not fall into the cleverly and numerous traps of the seducer, traps that were set immediately after My act of redemption on Golgotha.
These are not only traps intended to seduce you into theft, lying, violence, sexual immorality, gluttony, and much more; far worse are the spiritual, invisible seductions that in most cases you do not recognize. And it was precisely here that My adversary and yours began, leading many of My human children during the past two thousand years onto a false trail that brought you into a dead end.
Your inability always and in every situation to recognize Me as unconditional and selfless love is connected with the fact that your consciousness has developed only to a limited degree. Yet working on its unfolding and expansion was and remains the reason for your incarnation. These are the learning processes, the tasks a soul as a rule set for itself: namely, according to its possibilities, to take the next steps for its inner growth, or at least honestly to strive toward them; steps that are different for every human being. Thus the soul, and with it the human being, climbs rung by rung of the ladder to heaven and in this way, figuratively speaking, draws ever closer to its eternal home.

The opposing forces therefore had to be interested in drawing a false picture of Me and My love and in changing My teaching at decisive points. Apart from the first decades of early Christianity, they succeeded in doing so. This happened because they allowed their own misleading ideas and ways of thinking to flow into My simple teaching of love, which I brought as Jesus of Nazareth. Thus, unnoticed by ignorant people obedient to authority and by intimidated believers, within only a few centuries an idea of Me and My divine order developed that had nothing more to do with My love and justice. This has remained so to this day.
In other faiths darkness worked differently, but always with the same goal: to keep people from recognizing My true nature, among other things by portraying the continued satisfaction of human desires as the highest summit of heavenly fulfillment. In still other ideologies it adapted entry into the beyond and the attainment of bliss to existing human ideas; but always with the concrete intention of presenting Me as a God whom one must either fear or can do without, because one does not understand Him or His working in this world anyway.
Hardly anything remained of a love that understands everything and forgives everything; and where such an idea did remain, it often failed to withstand the reality of your everyday life. Doubt, uncertainty, and incomprehension spread; and if people nevertheless wanted to hold fast to faith in Me, explanations had to be found for My silence or My alleged injustice. Such answers not infrequently put not only your love for Me to a severe test; they also often lead you onto a “false trail” that may indeed provide an answer—though often a questionable and misleading one—but does not help you advance on the path of self-knowledge and change.
As Jesus of Nazareth I spoke of the “Father” who loves you and with whom you have your true home. I used and still use this expression so that My children have Someone opposite them to whom they can relate. Yes, I am the Father of you all, but I am much more. I am everything! I am Mother to you just as I am Friend, male and female; I am life itself as well as eternity, holiness, omniscience, the primal light, omnipresence, the only perpetual motion machine of creation, and infinitely much more. There is nothing that I am not, and nowhere that I am not!
For you human beings this cannot be grasped; even the angels who embody My essences and qualities are unable to fathom Me. By making Myself known to My children as Father, I at the same time enable them to build a very personal relationship with Me on the basis of mutual love, something that is not possible with the divine presence of, for example, eternity, holiness, and omnipresence.
It did not take long before the opposing side seduced people into making an image of this Father whom Jesus had brought near to you, an image that was not limited to outward representation but to which—with grave consequences—more and more human patterns of behavior were attributed. Because people were unable, or scarcely able, to imagine a love that understands and forgives everything, I gradually took on in their eyes, under the influence of seductive whisperings, human traits and behaviors. Their own imperfection, with its weaknesses of character, was projected onto God, onto Me, love. In earlier times gods and goddesses were invented in this way, reflecting human qualities.
The one who had developed love for Me, for his neighbor, and for himself recognized My true nature. He had no difficulty, even in difficult situations, in seeking and recognizing My guiding hand of love. The others, in their incomprehension and ignorance, attributed to Me qualities corresponding to their own disposition.
Thus I was turned into a God of threats, punishments, vengeance, mercilessness, injustice, gagging, supposed tests, wrath, and causing suffering.
Yet truly, I tell you: I am not a God who threatens or punishes, who tests His children, makes them suffer, can become angry, or uses guilt as a means of pressure to regulate a child. That is what the dark forces and their vassals made Me into, with the intention—then as now—that I remain or become foreign to My children so that, in their lack of understanding, they distance themselves from Me or do not seek Me in the first place.
I am, once and for all, without exception, without restriction, forever—love! My order is maintained solely, and life in the realms outside heaven is governed solely, by the law of cause and effect, which as an expression of My love is part of bringing home My children who left the heavens.

For as long as human beings can remember I have revealed Myself to My human children, both in the time before I came into the world as Jesus and in the centuries that followed. In doing so I did nothing different from what each of you does when he wants to enlighten others or teach something: I adapted My word to the understanding of those for whom it was intended, for I will never overburden anyone; just as you would not try to explain the laws of higher mathematics to a first-grader.
The writings of your New Testament therefore contain enlightenment and instruction that go beyond the traditions from the time before, that is, beyond what is contained in your Old Testament. But even as Jesus I could not convey to you more than the people of that time could understand and put into practice. Even that little, measured against My unfathomable wisdom, was already a challenge for many. Therefore I promised you that I would send you the Comforter, who would guide you and teach you further things.1) That is what your Scripture says. And at the same time you read in it—and many of you believe it, believe both!—that it is correct to say that I will afflict with plagues anyone who adds something to the words of your Scripture, and that from anyone who takes something away I will take away his share in the tree of life.2)
I kept My word to send you My Spirit, the Comforter, and something new of comprehensive meaning and depth from My wisdom and truth entered your world. New means: something that until then had not yet been revealed, had not yet been known and recognized as truth. How then, My sons and daughters, can one say that what I subsequently give you as further insight can be true and acknowledged only when it is contained in writings that already exist? Do those who claim such a thing—for transparent reasons—not resemble people who reject a second-grade arithmetic book solely because the new book contains explanations and exercises that are not contained in the first-grade arithmetic book? How can further development ever take place with such an attitude?
Use your reason together with the logic of your heart!
It is not much different when My words of recent years, decades, and centuries, which you call “new revelations,” are always measured only against what already exists in the world as revelation. No proclaimer of My word will ever possess a consciousness capable of reproducing My wisdom comprehensively. His manner of expression, vocabulary, and intellectual abilities play a role, as do his surrender to Me and his willingness to fulfill a task he once undertook. And no bearer of My word who loves Me will ever claim that God, through what he—the word-bearer—was allowed to receive, has now said everything. If he repeatedly strives for humility, he knows also of the narrow ridge along which he walks. A tool devoted to Me will likewise never call upon you to test what has been revealed only against what has already been said through Me. That would be the same false behavior as refusing everything not written in your New Testament—selected by human beings and fixed as the final word of God.
In this way you cannot test whether it is My Spirit speaking in each case and whether what is being proclaimed is My truth and wisdom. The problem of recognizing whether it is I or not lies first and foremost with the one who seeks. He must decide for himself. If he does not, he resembles the credulous people of past centuries who allowed others to prescribe for them what was truth and what was not.
The standard for your decision lies solely within you. It is grounded in your honest searching and in the desire to find only Me and My truth—and not human truth. In this way you attract no other forces that may have intentions not immediately recognizable, but that can nevertheless gag you and make you dependent.
So listen, My child, to your heart. Ask yourself whether, in the word that addresses you, you encounter the selfless love that wants nothing other than for you to find your way home—not through esoteric techniques, however, but through your effort to become love again. If in doing so you connect with Me, the love that guides you, you will not be able to make a mistake. If longing for Me plays the decisive role and not curiosity that wants to try various paths—which freedom allows you to do without My “punishing” you for it—then I will guide you along paths that ultimately lead you to the goal. In your eyes they may perhaps be detours, but they will not be paths that put you in danger or prove to be dead ends, even if at times they appear so to you.
But never make one mistake: Never believe that you have already reached “the end of the road” merely because the first realizations are breaking open within you and you experience My direct or indirect help. Come to Me again and again; ask again and again from the heart that I accompany you and stand by you in your decisions. Then your inner development proceeds securely and step by step; for everything is evolution, including what takes place within you.

I desire My children to begin thinking independently more than before. Therefore, in light of what has just been said, let us examine by means of three examples whether there is any truth in the widespread assumptions that I test you, that your suffering is unavoidable, or that I might reserve to Myself whether or not to erase guilt.
For lack of knowledge of the law of sowing and reaping and/or in order to avoid self-examination and self-knowledge, the idea was put into the world: “God sends me this blow of fate or this situation of distress in order to test me.” With this widespread assumption, “two birds are killed with one stone,” as you say:
On the one hand, the immutable law of cause and effect is set aside, the law that says that what happens to you must also have something to do with you. And on the other hand, I am regarded as the originator of your suffering, who sends you something over which you have no influence and which has nothing to do with you. If that were so, it would amount to an arbitrary selection—today it strikes you, tomorrow someone else—which could never be reconciled with My love. I am thus made into an authority that allows something to come upon you in order to test your faithfulness, your endurance, your love, and much more.
Do you truly believe that? Or does it merely have to serve as a substitute because, for whatever reason, you have been unable to find another answer? If I now tell you that I will never test your inner steadfastness, if only because I know it—regardless of what you read in whatever writings—then, if you work with the logic of the heart, only one explanation remains: It must have something to do with the person whom destiny has touched. Otherwise My law would work imperfectly, because something had struck you with which you have no connection.
Such thinking carries within it the great danger of avoiding self-knowledge. It may be that the first attempts at insight do not bring much or lead only to a faint intuition; but then to assume, “God wants to test me now; this has nothing to do with any kind of conduct on my part,” does not move you forward. In such cases ask Me to show you where a correction in your thinking or acting is necessary. Then be vigilant and approach, full of trust and without feelings of guilt, whatever possibilities begin to dawn within you because I have allowed them to rise within you.
If, then, I do not test you, you are nevertheless free in difficult situations of life to examine your relationship with Me …
It is very similar with the assumption that suffering must inevitably enter your life. It is true that with an incarnation you take a risk and that a certain measure of suffering will not be spared you; this alone because you are more or less bound into the karma of the world and because, even if mostly unwillingly and unconsciously, you cannot avoid burdening yourselves to varying degrees through your conduct, for example toward your environment. Many of you also carry a small part of the “world’s cross” so that what has accumulated as negativity over many millennia may gradually be transformed and dissolved. But many of you knew all this before your incarnation.
Beyond this, however, there is personal suffering that was and is caused by yourselves. I came into the world in order to redeem you from that as well, to spare you from becoming entangled ever more deeply in complications that bring ever greater distress. A heart that loves Me can therefore never come to the idea that worries and pain are inevitably given. On the contrary: I sacrificed Myself on the cross not only to make your return home possible again and spare you grief and despair in the beyond, but also so that your earthly life might become easier by your clearing away with My help, in advance, much that without corresponding change would make your life difficult.
Here too you recognize the just working of the law of cause and effect, which allows the harvest to be poured out only where and when the commandment of love has previously been violated continually. Explaining suffering to you by saying that it comes from God’s hand, perhaps even with the justification that this is love,3) exposes the ignorance of those who uphold such theses. It is left to each person—for this you have been given freedom of thought and decision—whether he follows this fear-inducing, incomprehensible word of your Scripture or gives credence to My words and follows his heart.
One final example, to challenge your own thinking a little. Many of you carry feelings of guilt that still make life difficult for you even after many years. They can scarcely imagine, or cannot imagine at all, that everything is possible to My ever-forgiving love! In this matter they attribute to Me a thoroughly human behavior because they know no better: “How can I be forgiven when I have behaved so badly and wrongly?!” That is their inner feeling, their false reasoning toward themselves, which under certain circumstances can keep them throughout an entire lifetime from going full of trust, like a child, to his father.
There is nothing I do not understand or forgive. There is nothing I hold back as a kind of pledge, nothing I use as a means of pressure to leave My child in the unfreedom of his feelings of guilt. At most, parents act so thoughtlessly when they believe that in this way they can raise their child with fewer problems and less resistance.
Whoever attributes such conduct to Me does not know Me; he still knows nothing of My love and generosity.
I give you an image: You are living in a dispute with one of your fellow human beings. The main guilt lies with the other person. For a time the situation occupied you until you recognized that you must contribute your part to resolving the dispute. Since a reasonable conversation with the other person is not possible, you decide—regardless of whether and when the other is ready for reconciliation—to forgive him now already, even though he has not yet asked for forgiveness.
At some point your opponent, recognizing his wrong conduct, comes to you, apologizes, and asks to be able to live in peace with you again. With his request he is, so to speak, “pushing against an open door.” And before he has even finished his sentence, the matter is over. For on your side there was nothing more to consider and nothing more to forgive. The other person is surprised that you do not go over it again and scrutinize his conduct. Naturally, this does not remove the need to make good any damage caused. That belongs to a just balance.
A request, a handshake, a smile, a sense of relief, a new beginning! It can be that simple.
Now transfer this image to the relationship of a human being with Me. If a human being can summon the inner greatness for such an act of forgiveness, should that not be possible for Me, love? Truly, I tell you: it should not merely be possible; this is how I act!
So when you come to Me in sincere recognition that you made a mistake or burdened yourself with guilt, then be certain, My child, that there will be no deliberation or hesitation on My part in taking your outstretched hand. Your guilt then, in that same moment, no longer has any standing before Me when your heart recognizes and repents and you are ready to bring about a change in your conduct.
I desire free children; I am not the One who keeps you in the fetters of your feelings of guilt. Darkness intends that, for it is not interested in your pulling yourselves together and going through this process, which is not always easy. For when you do, you loosen the fetters with which you could previously be held and take the first liberating steps toward life, toward light. Darkness cannot desire this, for by it darkness loses power over you, over everyone who decides, through honest self-knowledge, to leave the path of old behavior he has entered.
The excuse, often used out of ignorance or lack of willingness to change, “my guilt is so great that God can never forgive it,” is no longer valid after this enlightenment.
My son, My daughter, love has spoken to you. It wants to draw you nearer to itself, to bring you out of gloom and suffering for which you often have no explanation. But that is possible only if you turn toward it—toward Me; if you anchor deeply and firmly within yourselves that I am, without ifs or buts, love, and therefore completely different from what you were taught or what you persuaded yourselves to believe.
I came into the world to save. For the same reason I raise My word against all resistance. Nothing and no one will be able to prevent love from ultimately being victorious. Let yourselves be seized by the light I radiate into the world and thus become light yourselves. Become proclaimers of My love, which you yourselves have experienced and will continually experience. Then you too will be able through your lives to bear witness:
“God is completely different from what I thought. He does not constrain me, He takes nothing from me. He respects my free will. He does not threaten, He does not punish, He does not frighten. His love is unimaginably great. I experience it. It has made me free, and it will make me much freer still, because I have decided to live with Him. Regardless of whatever anyone says about Him.”
For such a decision, My beloved, My power flows to you in the fullest measure.
