Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, when I lead you into My eternal truths, as a rule you do recognize them as My holy, unshakable word of revelation, yet only rarely do you give much or any thought to one circumstance: What are the reasons when your life does not express what I bring before you? Put another way: How can it be that what I proclaim to you as divine law does not become reality in your life? Or at least does not occur to the degree you would like?
When you read or hear My words with an open heart and childlike trust, the possibility that I am teaching you falsely will be out of the question for you. There must therefore be something that prevents the consequences from showing themselves in daily life as I describe them to you; something that keeps what I desire for you, and what you yourselves desire so deeply, from occurring.
I will give you an example that very few people think about. You read in your Scripture that the one who asks receives, that the one who seeks finds, and that the door is opened to the one who knocks. You not only read this wisdom; it is also repeatedly part of your prayers. Yet how often have you asked, sought and knocked without receiving the promised answer? Or believed that you had received no answer?
Have you not usually, or almost always, simply moved past this “silence of heaven” and gone on with your day? Not infrequently only to say the same prayer, or a similar one, again at the next opportunity? Have you never wondered whether something might not be right? Whether this word is true at all? Or whether perhaps something is not right with you? Why there was no response, or no visible response, often over a long period of time? Have you ever stopped and reflected—most promisingly, about yourselves? Or have you simply kept going as if turning a prayer wheel?
I used the Scripture passage I mentioned only as an example to point out that one can accept divine wisdom and at the same time quickly move past it. The same can happen with another truth that is of great importance to My children and that—if it is not properly understood—can result in impairments of soul and body.

So that you may better understand My law in this respect, remain watchful and take timely countermeasures whenever the need arises, today I am speaking about the deeper meaning of My divine protection, in which I repeatedly enfold you or wish to enfold you. There are many misunderstandings here, and these not infrequently result in the opposing side finding doors and gates wide open among My children, making it easy for it to penetrate a protection that had still existed before and temporarily rob you of your inner and outer harmony.
The greatest misunderstanding is that by “protection” you understand almost exclusively outer protection: that you ask and hope that no misfortune of any kind will befall you. This is My wish as well, and if your trust and faith make it possible and no “learning tasks” stand in the way, My protection will indeed enfold you. The darkness—the negative power with its countless facets that fights against Me and against you—knows this too. And its aim is to harm you by robbing you of the energy of your soul and life, which it so urgently needs.
How does it proceed? A little logic of the heart is called for, so that you do not merely read or listen and nod your head, but so that the connections open up within you yourselves. Only in this way—especially if you have already experienced something similar—are you prepared, able to recognize an invisible attack and, with My help, successfully defend yourselves against it.
The opposing forces try to reach you in two ways: on the one hand by bringing about outer circumstances, which almost always also touch your inner being, and on the other by influencing your state of mind, which sooner or later often manifests outwardly. Combinations of both possibilities are also used successfully.
If a smaller or greater misfortune comes upon you “from outside,” it is obvious that the protection has been overridden, or that beforehand measures were already taken so that a protective shield could not be built up to the desired degree in the first place. There are many reasons for this, about which I have often spoken to you; among them are neglecting to put your knowledge into practice, falling back into old faults and weaknesses, lack of attention, inertia and much more.
I remind you of the image I once used: You are sitting protected in a golden sphere of light that nothing can penetrate. It represents My protection in which you are enfolded. From the outside this sphere of protection cannot be opened or damaged. So nothing negative can enter—unless you yourselves open your sphere here or there because you are interested in what is being offered to you so promisingly outside. And immediately your protection has a hole!
As long as you live in matter, the darkness will repeatedly succeed in exerting influence upon you. It is its sphere of dominion into which you have entered. You knew this before you decided to incarnate. But you also knew of the unconquerable power of love that lives within you and continually helps you, or wishes to help you, close more and more of your former energy leaks and open fewer and fewer new ones.
Every event acting upon you from outside that makes you angry or restless, fearful or impatient; that you absolutely want to solve through your own strength, that is, through self-will, yet cannot solve permanently; that you are unwilling to accept or that nearly drives you to despair—every event of this kind does not remain merely “on the surface of your life,” but triggers corresponding negative emotions within you. With this the darkness has achieved its first goal: for a time you have fallen out of your inner harmony! The consequence is a visible and perceptible loss of energy. You have become suppliers of energy to dark forces, often without noticing it and certainly without wanting it.
In only the rarest cases, however, are these events of serious importance or lasting consequence that truly interrupt the rhythm of your life. If the opposing side had to depend on such events, possibly caused by karma, in order to obtain energy, that would be very unsatisfactory for it. It does gain a certain satisfaction from disturbing the intimate connection between Me and you for a while, but it can hardly live on that in the long run. Its need for energy is immense; the supply must be ensured.
And it accomplishes this by making use of one of the most widespread weaknesses of My children, one they know about but pay little attention to: the darkness tempts you to brood, to ponder, to think in a completely unnecessary way; it induces you to regard something harmless in itself as a problem, to occupy yourselves with it far more than necessary, to go around and around in circles in your thoughts. You are drawn into a whirlpool of which you may even be aware, yet which you can leave only with difficulty or hardly at all if—or because—you have occupied yourselves with it for a long time, too long.
You have been attacked inwardly; your protection has been overridden from within, that is, through your feelings. At least for a while.

Many of My children do not think about the inner protection in which I wish to enfold them just as much as in the outer. They think or worry about what might come upon them in their daily lives and wish that nothing may happen to them outwardly. In doing so they forget or neglect their inner protection, which very often makes them vulnerable.
This form of attack has been practiced worldwide by the forces of darkness for eons. Their success is assured; it inevitably follows. For on the one hand very few people know about this danger and its lasting consequences, and therefore they do not know the inner protective measures that My love holds ready for them; and on the other hand this brooding, self-willed thinking that is not founded on trust in Me draws after it a whole chain of further negative results in the soul, in the body and also in the immediate surroundings of the person concerned.
Thus a person becomes increasingly bound until finally it is no longer possible for him to look ahead with trust, because he has “practiced” judging things from his own point of view, causing that view to become cemented within him. Once matters have reached this point, progress of soul and spirit is no longer possible. But even when the danger has been recognized and countered at last, he has gone through periods that cost a great deal of energy and required a change of thinking and a new kind of practice.
My beloved sons and daughters, do not underestimate this satanic influence that stealthily seeks entrance into your inner feelings and thoughts and then, in this way, gradually shapes your words and actions if you are inattentive and do not close the openings in your protective shield in time.
Do not say either: “That cannot happen to me, or hardly ever.” Every one of you will repeatedly be confronted with things that occupy your thoughts more than usual. It need not be anything terrible that moves you; to lose energy, it is enough to add further deliberations to the few thoughts required for analyzing the situation, thereby creating the danger that the process takes on a life of its own. If you experience or have experienced something of this kind, then be watchful and do not rule out the possibility that forces are at work that want to weaken you; forces that—figuratively speaking—make a small crack larger and larger through repeated thinking into it, until they can slip through.
My inner protection, which should shield you, can then—disturbed by your own inner feelings and thoughts—no longer fully fulfill its task.
If in such cases you pay attention to your emotional life, you will notice that something has changed, that something has crept in that was not there before: impatience, fears, lack of freedom, perhaps a certain aggressiveness and much more. In this respect it is completely unimportant whether what occupies you is real or not, whether you have been wronged or not. The inner feelings that rise up come from the correspondences that are still within you.
Once you have recognized this, you are with yourselves; you are where it is time to begin the inner work. Above all, you are where the work is worth doing, because there is no other place for solving the problem than within you.

I have now shown you the causes that—similar to your Scripture passage “Ask, and it will be given to you …”—prevent My protection, which I wish to grant to everyone, from often taking effect to the degree hoped for or desired. I would not be your loving Father if I did not also speak to you about the solution by which you can keep yourselves from falling into the traps of darkness.
If you take My words seriously, in the future you will pay attention more quickly than before to whatever occupies your inner feelings and thoughts beyond measure. As soon as you notice that you are beginning to think about a matter repeatedly, examining it from top and bottom, right and left, back and front, give yourselves a stop sign! If you include Me in your intention to be more watchful in the future, I will be the one who gives you a large or small impulse: “Careful, that is enough!” Then you decide whether you want to continue along the path of continuing-to-think-about-it or not.
My law cannot and will not prevent certain things from coming upon you with which you are meant to deal. This serves so that you learn and thereby mature. The negative forces, likewise endowed with free will, have a right to attack you. They will do so at the places they recognize as weak points. And truly, believe Me: They know very well the places where an attack is worthwhile! That is why it is important that you too know the gates of entry before which the attacker waits in order to weaken you.
So the point is not to protect you—My strong and powerful sons and daughters—from everything like helpless newborn infants, but to enlighten and strengthen you. With the necessary tools that I place at your disposal through My revelations, you are able to prevent a weakening of your energy. And not in order to “take revenge” on the opposing forces for their earlier successful actions against you, but ultimately also to bring them to the realization that a life in love and freedom can be found only in Me.
Think of the two sides of a coin about which I spoke to you not long ago. The temptation to brood, to temporary stagnation and possible depression also has two sides. The one important for you is this: on the one hand you can learn from it if you wish, and on the other hand the attempt by the darkness to impair or harm you comes to nothing, because with this knowledge you are able to put an end to the robbery of energy, which in the long term contributes to the turning back of these forces.
Therefore be watchful, My sons and daughters, and come to Me immediately with your worries and problems, at the latest when you notice that your thoughts and words are helping determine the course of your day. Letting go means, among other things, giving Me what occupies you beyond measure—not someday, but immediately when you begin to seek the solution of a difficulty through your self-will. A heartfelt “Your will be done” works wonders, for then I am the one who steps in to solve the problem.
What then happens, happens through Me, the great switch-setter. Then I am the one into whose hands you have placed the rhythm of your life. In the light of your love and trust, My power will turn to good what you have placed before Me. Your head becomes free, your dark and brooding thoughts dissolve in a short time, and My life-energy can once again flow within you in full measure.
Let us try it together, beloved child, if what I have revealed to you concerns you. My divine fatherly promise stands: joy and lightness are waiting for you.
