Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, one indispensable aspect of the love that I am is freedom. Since I created My creatures in My image, I also placed unlimited freedom within every creature. You, you, and you as well: all of you carry this freedom within you as an inheritance that nothing and no one can dispute.
As spiritual beings—at a time when you roamed the infinities of the heavens and used your freedom within the framework of My laws of creation for your spiritual creative activity—it was the most natural thing in the world for you to live in and with this freedom, to rejoice in it, and to use it in service for the good of all creation. A life without this boundlessness of your free will, grounded in love for Me, was unimaginable to you.
This indescribable divine freedom is still within you, although enclosed within the core of your spiritual being. In the course of your journey home to Me this freedom will unfold again. The most important steps toward its unfolding can be taken in the material world, during your earthly life—or, as is usually the case, your earthly lives; for one incarnation is rarely enough to lay the foundations for releasing the many bonds you have entered into. Becoming free from the constraints and fetters still present will then continue in the realms beyond, provided that spiritual development has already been sought during your earthly life.
In this way you free and unburden yourselves step by step, partly on this side, partly beyond the veils. Eventually the soul has largely laid down its burdens, and the original spiritual being emerges again in all its beauty and glory and enters the infinity of the heavens. The freedom that was restricted for a long time has once again become fully part of your eternal existence.
When I said that nothing and no one can dispute your freedom, this applies to all beings who live with Me in their eternal home. Here there is no power that could in any way impair the state of happiness and bliss. Here My love is at work! Things look different when a spiritual being leaves the security of the heavens, whatever the reason: whether it allowed itself to be drawn into the Fall that took place aeons ago, or whether, out of love for Me and for its fallen brothers and sisters, it incarnated voluntarily in order to help bring them home.
Even in the latter case, this does not mean that these beings as human beings have no weaknesses and make no mistakes, for only in the rarest of cases will this be their first incarnation. And even if it were, they carry voluntarily assumed burdens in their soul that then express themselves in the person’s behavior. Without a certain heaviness of soul—which means: in divine perfection—no human being can exist in the material world. This is due to the law of attraction and repulsion.
I too, when I incarnated in the man Jesus of Nazareth, voluntarily took soul-burdens upon Myself, which I transformed and overcame with the help of the divine power of love. That means I had, as a human being, to “struggle against My human self” just as you do today, as all people at all times did or should have done.
Whoever therefore leaves the freedom and security of the heavens enters realms in which freedom and security are more or less restricted or do not prevail at all. They are completely absent in the deep astral realms, strongly limited in the gray zones adjoining them, and are already experienced in part where the path that promises hope and radiates brightness begins to appear.
Outside your heavenly home, then, your freedom can indeed be disputed, and My and your adversary succeeds especially well in doing this when you enter matter and begin a new incarnation. Then he casts out his invisible snares. He resorts to a method that always works—that is, always at the beginning, but afterward only until you see through it, decide, and begin with My help to free yourselves step by step from his influence. His method, the tool he uses, is called bondage. And it is the exact opposite of freedom!

Bondage—not to be confused with the connection that exists between Me and you and among yourselves in loving coexistence—is the basis of all evil. It is the root that has brought forth everything that prevents a person from unfolding freely in My Spirit. It is the mother of all lies, and it knows with great skill how to make My truth unrecognizable. What is not recognized cannot be acknowledged and is therefore denied in most cases. On a second track, so to speak as an alternative, a large part of humanity is also kept by its lack of understanding—which is a consequence of bondage—in the delusion that the distorted views, beliefs, and worldviews prescribed by the darkness are truth, or at least better than nothing.
Bonds do not arise overnight. Such an approach would be too dangerous for the opposing side, because then there would be the possibility that you might notice the difference from the freedom you possessed only shortly before and begin to question and reflect on what has happened to you. It acts much more subtly, so imperceptibly that changes creep into your views, your thinking and actions, your goals and behavior, your desires and willing, which you do not notice or to which, if you do notice them, you attach no significance and may even regard as normal and logical.
And because bonds do not arise “overnight,” they cannot be released immediately and “in one stroke” either. This releasing is also a process of development; it is a necessity on the way back to Me, because there are no bonds whatsoever with Me.
You cannot even begin to assess correctly the intelligence of the forces working against Me and against you. No human intellect is sufficient to recognize their concealed intentions and planned actions. If people with refined senses such as clairvoyance or clairaudience perceive or experience things that lie outside the usual five senses, they are usually ridiculed or not taken seriously. Moreover, what they perceive is only “the surface of the surface” and says nothing about what lies beneath.
In order to arm yourselves against seduction, you depend on being enlightened. That is why I—and with Me many who live in My love and act on My behalf—raise My word again and again, lead you more deeply into My laws, and thus help those who are willing to gain a better understanding of what is happening around them and within themselves.
I see the questions in your hearts: “Father, to what extent am I bound? Where and how have I allowed myself to be bound? How do I recognize bonds? What all counts as bondage? And how do I become free of it?”

My children are bound to varying degrees. The extent and strength of their bonds depend on many factors. Take the normal case and assume that the present incarnation is not the first. This means that views and patterns of behavior were already developed in earlier earthly lives, impressed themselves upon the soul, and are now carried by it into a new life. It is, so to speak, “preprogrammed,” something that of course cannot be seen in the new citizen of earth. A human being therefore by no means carries within himself a soul “fresh as a rose,” which, according to the false teachings of your Christian religions, I have only just created for this particular human incarnation.
Every incarnation takes place voluntarily: ideally in consultation with the guardian angel, who has the broader perspective and advises the soul in the realm beyond about the right time and the most promising circumstances; in the less ideal case the soul incarnates in self-will, without listening to the suggestions or warnings of its spiritual companion, driven by its own ideas, which are based on strong bonds to negative forces without its knowing this.
From the day of birth, the side of light and the dark side, invisible yet very active, are concerned with the newborn, later with the growing child, and still later with the adult. The extent to which they succeed in guiding the human being in the spirit of love or making him receptive to negative influences depends on the already existing burdens of the soul—which are equivalent to bonds—but also on the soul-powers brought along because they were developed in previous lives; in addition, on the upbringing by the parents or other responsible persons, and finally on the circumstances and environment that help shape the growing person.
Here too there are no coincidences; rather, the law of attraction and repulsion is at work. You can find out to what extent you are bound—that is, to what extent your life is determined by factors outside what you actually want in the awareness that you are a child of God—if you observe yourself and your behavior attentively, with an effort that is honest and self-critical but never degrading or belittling. For the point is not to turn you into a “sinner,” but to sharpen your clarity and strengthen your resolve to want to change something. It is also to keep before your eyes that in truth you are a powerful being of the heavens, whom I remind—even through these words—to rise from the dust of the earth and return to your true inner greatness.
As far as spiritual bonds are concerned, in almost every case you have allowed yourselves to be gagged, fettered, and frightened without being aware of it. For, for lack of knowledge of your own, you were told nothing about the machinations by which the rulers of darkness proceed in order to bring people more and more under their influence. The fields in which the negative forces work are immense beyond your comprehension. And equally varied are the tricks and false promises they use to conceal their true intentions and make you believe you have a right to think and act in this or that way. They enlarge your ego without your noticing it, because outwardly it appears to bring you advantages in asserting yourselves in this world. And they live on your energy.
With everything you do—usually without thinking—against your conscience, against the fine and finest inner feelings for right and wrong, the darkness on the one hand strengthens your feeling that you possess a certain power and are entitled to exercise it, and on the other hand draws its loops ever tighter. The aim of its striving is to gag you, to let you fall so deeply that, when the first realizations of guilty behavior finally begin to break through in you, you no longer even consider it possible that you could obtain forgiveness for your actions. This expresses the idea that My love is not great enough and therefore not capable of forgiving a debt—however great it may be; or that I am not willing to grant unconditional forgiveness when the sinner comes to Me conscious of his guilt and with genuine repentance. Your church textbooks are full of such assertions, which have poisoned the souls of countless people and thereby brought about long-lasting bonds to evil.
Although the opposing side usually does not succeed in reaching its goal of total self-abandonment, this makes it no less active or dangerous. Often, well before that point, it is already content merely to keep people “treading water,” that is, to hinder them in their development of soul and spirit; for it knows that its prospects are not at all bad of later turning those who are still lukewarm into vassals, dependent followers.
For that reason alone it is so important that you know the background and are aware of dangers that are unknown and imperceptible to you, so that you can resist them at their beginnings.

The fact that the opposing side succeeds, on the one hand, in selling bondage to you as freedom and, on the other, in burdening you permanently with feelings of guilt and thereby binding you to itself has its reason in the completely false image of God that it has been able to anchor in people’s minds. It does indeed say that I am love, but at the same time it has found its own interpretations for this form of “love.” Long planned and well prepared, it brought these interpretations into the world through those whom it was able to make its henchmen. In this way the soul of the ignorant and often frightened human being was eventually manipulated as well; its condition formed in the past, and will continue to form, the basis for the more or less successful prospects of positive development.
Thus soul and human being were influenced again and again, consciousness was gradually restricted until there was finally no room left in it for truth. This process lasted for many centuries and is still in full swing, even though the means employed necessarily had to be adapted to circumstances over time. But the use of one means—the most successful since the beginning of the Fall—was never lost sight of; it was never relinquished, even though today it is used more subtly than in the past: I am speaking of fear.
As the result of this satanic effort, there now appears the distorted image of a God whom most people do not understand because He has been made foreign to them. It is not My children who have become foreign to Me, but I to them, for they no longer know that I—their Creator and giver of life—live within them! Your Scripture says that you should make no image of your God. Did your church princes, theologians, and scribes observe this? No, for they certainly did draw an image of Me—not in the form of outward representations, but far more dangerously by presenting Me to My children as an authority who “sits enthroned far away in distant heavens,” who apparently continually permits injustices, who is full of mysteries and cannot be understood by His creatures.
Thus My simple teaching of love, understandable to everyone, was also turned into a distorted image—a love that asks for nothing but an open heart and good will, yet at the same time contains everything and gives everything to the one who endeavors to fulfill it: peace, harmony, security, freedom from fear, boundless trust in My justice and guidance, a deep understanding of the connections, knowledge of a profound inner indestructible bond with Me and, not least—freedom!
The question of what all constitutes a bond is very easy to answer: everything that does not correspond to My eternally forgiving love and My all-embracing mercy is bondage. With this word you have a precisely working measure when you want to become clear whether your own behavior or that of your neighbor represents merely an attempt at bondage or already a successful binding. And the use of the logic of the heart, which I teach you, lets you recognize beyond this that every kind of bondage has a satanic origin and that its application and enforcement are subject to satanic influences. For both cannot be true at once: that something is completely permeated by My love and yet contains features of temptation, seduction, oppression, and fettering, however great or small they may be.
Think wisely about this word.
And if you are sincere about wanting to know yourselves and the motives of your actions, do not exclude too quickly aspects that seem unimportant to you or appear positive at first glance. Very often quite different motives are hidden behind them and, upon closer examination, suddenly reveal themselves as traps into which you have gone. These may include excessive care, excessive helpfulness, excessive “I’ll take care of it,” excessive interference “with the best intentions” in the affairs of others, excessive friendliness, and much more.
But there is of course also the other side—for example withdrawal, lack of empathy, exerting pressure, inappropriate hard “over-consistency,” premature assessment or even condemnation, and so on and so on. You will find enough examples if you look at your everyday behavior.
Do not forget in your examination a corner of your soul where insecurity and fear have settled. I do not frighten you! I do not make you insecure! I love you! So if you find fear and similar qualities in yourself, set out on a journey of discovery to determine who planted this fear in you or intensified fears that were already there. It was not I! But if it was not I, then who was it? Religions, ideologies, sects, groups, and self-appointed leaders? And if you recognize the originator or originators of your fear but are in turn afraid of the consequences that a decision would bring, then you have come upon what you call a “vicious circle.” Then you hold in your hands the proof of a manipulation that can come from only one source. For I do not manipulate you!

It is sometimes said far too quickly that the point is to overcome the ego. This statement is fundamentally correct, but it does not help you in this form, especially since you often do not recognize what lies behind your ego and how, once you have recognized it, you can overcome it. Giving it to Me is likewise fundamentally correct, but how often have you already done that? How often have you succeeded in becoming free of your ego by handing it over to Me?
The ego represents the sum of your self-centered human desiring, willing, and doing. This, however, was not created by Me, but arose through the influence of negative forces and is nothing other than bondage to what is contrary to love; for what I created is strong, pure, and without flaw. Without self-centered human behavior there is no ego. Every spiritual being—including you in your innermost being—is a unique personality that has unfolded all the aspects of heaven within itself. It has no ego.
Your ego, then, concerns patterns of behavior that have become part of your nature in the course of your life or—much more likely—your lives. It concerns your feeling, thinking, speaking, and acting. It is about learning to recognize which patterns of behavior have a bond underlying them. Whether the origin of the behavior lies in earlier incarnations and was brought along, whether it was learned through upbringing, became a habit through repeated practice, or is even subject to influence by others, plays no decisive role. Now, in this life, the effects are showing themselves; now the question is whether you want to free yourselves from them.
Because My love is the strongest force, there can be nothing negative that cannot be transformed and dissolved by it. Make this your unshakable faith, allow no doubt, and follow My thoughts—with the logic of your heart:
If you want to release a bond you have recognized, there must be within you the deep desire of the heart to attain inner freedom. At the same time you must leave the path to that freedom to Me—that is, let yourselves fall into My will. I want to strengthen this desire of yours by holding your goal before your eyes, a goal that can already be achieved to a great extent during your earthly life:
To feel no more “must” where before you anxiously ducked your head, backed away, or acted automatically according to an ingrained pattern; to awaken with the feeling, “I live in the security that my Father guides my steps,” then to take these steps with Me and practice them through new behavior, and to fall asleep at night in the certainty “that during the night my soul is guided to where it can learn and often already help.” Your willingness and ability to decide will grow stronger, your eye will look more deeply and your ear will hear even the quiet tones, so that you recognize traps that have been set more and more often. Because in this way you learn with the heart, you yourself will gradually become a teacher who recognizes the weaknesses of his former teachers and is therefore no longer dependent on them. Eventually I take over your further soul-development according to a rhythm that I determine for you.
All this and much more are the positive effects when you decide that with Me you want to recognize your bonds and work on dissolving them.
My creation is built upon immutable spiritual laws. Among them is that I absolutely respect the free will of everyone, but also that a person can be certain of My protection and guidance when he asks for it. This will make one person or another doubtful and raise the question why My protection has apparently so often failed even though it was requested, and why, although I promised you My support through the strongest force in the universe, the desired success did not occur.
Look, My child, I never break My word, and I never fail to hear a request or a cry for help. But everything that happens is embedded in My laws. If for some time you have practiced behavior contrary to love, you have thereby unconsciously also consented to a bond through the opposing forces. Depending on what was or still is involved and how long you practiced your behavior, energetically massive forces have arisen that act upon you. If these are not major matters—that is, things by which you have not seriously harmed your soul—then the process of transformation and release is also not work that cannot be accomplished relatively smoothly through close cooperation between Me and you.
The situation is somewhat different when it has larger dimensions. There is no question that here too I can and will bring about a solution, but this depends to no small degree on your honest desire to become free from your addiction, passion, deceit and fraud, willingness to use and actual use of violence, the use of your “worldly elbows,” intrigues, fanaticism, attempts at manipulation, and more. Simply giving Me your ego with the request that I transform it will not work. And with that I return to what I said before, namely the many aspects that make up your ego. You may well want to be free of this or that trait of character, but are you also prepared to give up the desires and willing that led to these traits? As completely as possible? After all, for a shorter or longer period you drew benefit from them until you recognized—with My hand involved—that this path is not the right one in the long run.
If you are not yet truly ready to give up your intentions, then under the “protection of My bell,” which you asked for, your ideas or parts of them continue to operate. This means that My intention and My willing are rendered more or less ineffective by what you still want to hold onto with your heart even though you have given it to Me with your head. Lasting success therefore fails to appear, and this failure is then all too often attributed to a supposed lack of helpfulness, goodness, and mercy on My part.
So the point is not merely to be relieved or freed in the future from the consequences of earlier wrong actions, but to give up the motivation underlying those wrong actions; and not from fear of the balancing that your karma will one day demand, but from the realization that you rejected My love, suppressed the voice of your conscience, and worked in self-will for your own advantage. The deeper this realization goes—which can also happen step by step and usually does—the greater and more effective is the counterforce that you and I can build together. Besides recognizing your own inadequacy and the wrong paths you took, it is decisive that you are willing and able to bring forth heartfelt repentance together with a request for forgiveness.
If necessary, honestly shed tears can also be a great help. The greater, then, the force we can summon together—and I come many hundreds of steps toward you when you take yours—the sooner My law can initiate the loosening and finally the dissolution of bonds. For better understanding by those who cannot recognize mercy and justice in this law: what is decisive is that the opposing side too, invoking its free will, has the right to continue holding all those souls and people who do not oppose their fettering with the stronger force of My love. Whoever wants to do this but is not yet sufficiently able receives My support when he comes to Me with the corresponding request.
What I have explained to you in My word of revelation applies in principle to all bonds of whatever kind. Whether they are small or great, have existed for aeons or are bonds that arose only recently, whether consciously entered into or incurred through traps that were set—their dissolution is a basic prerequisite for being able to enter the eternal home again.
Do not let the seriousness of My words frighten you. On the one hand, your time and the seduction of countless of My children require clear words; on the other, much is “cleared out of the way” by My love that is not so serious that it would call your progress into question. But your bonds must be released in every case, so it would be worth considering not waiting any longer but beginning soon, if possible in this very hour. Apart from the fact that none of you knows when the hour will come when you change sides, delaying the beginning of a change brings you only disadvantages.
The advantages, by contrast, are obvious: freedom—above all freedom from fear—is experienced already in this life, and it will serve as the foundation for easier progress in the realms beyond. For over there the process of learning and releasing continues. If it has already begun during earthly life, the time is shortened until we see each other again, until I can once more take you, and you, and you into My arms and say to you face to face: I love you.
