Divine Revelation
As Jesus Christ I am the love within the Father, and today, My beloved brothers and sisters, I will lead you a little deeper once again into the divine laws. In doing so I ask you to follow the logic of your heart, which I teach you; for sons and daughters of the heavens were created free and carry within themselves the abilities to arrive at insight and to decide and act on their own responsibility. The logic of the heart makes it possible for you to move beyond the often merely learned necessity of having to believe and arrive at your own inner understanding.
A love that does not contain justice within itself, your heart and intellect tell you, is not love. Real love can never permit injustice or even act unjustly itself. If you feel in your heart that God is love, the conclusion can only be: Then God must also be just, whether or not I always recognize and understand this at once! Whoever is not convinced of this at the same time calls into question the foundation of his structure of faith, for love and injustice do not belong together. That is why immature faith, uncertainty, superficiality, incomprehension, and much else prevail so often. Such faith is like the well-known leaf in the wind that, depending on the situation, difficulty, and apparent necessity, turns now in one direction and now in another.
Does such an inner attitude—or better, lack of a firm attitude—bear witness to a strength capable of meeting even the severe storms of life with firmly grounded trust in God? You know the answer yourselves. The fact that this internally inconsistent combination of “God is probably love—but He is not just” has nevertheless become lodged in the minds and hearts of many of My brothers and sisters is connected with the lack of knowledge about the law of cause and effect and about the lawfulness of repeated earthly lives. But ignorance, from which rebellion and finally rejection so often result, can never be the foundation of a freely chosen decision for the growth of the soul.
It therefore had to be a primary endeavor of the opposing forces to suppress knowledge of this—and not only of this, but of spiritual laws in general. That they succeeded is well known; how they did it can be read in the history books of your church.
The consequences are threefold: widespread ignorance of the fact that the human being is himself responsible for his thinking, speaking, and actions under the law of cause and effect; resulting from this, a form of human coexistence that moves ever farther away from what I brought close to people with the commandment of love for God and neighbor; and finally complete ignorance of what awaits the immortal soul in the beyond when, at so-called death, it leaves the human body and goes into realms, and continues to live there, about which it was never instructed.
This worldwide lack of awareness is the reason why today I speak about the principle of personal causation, but not only from the standpoint of “Whatever a person sows, that he will reap,” but from the aspect far more important for My brothers and sisters: My help in dissolving guilt that was once incurred in the past.
The principle of personal causation is part of My divine justice. It says that everyone who, by free decision, acts against the law of love is confronted with the consequences that arise from it—unless an inner turning back, and if necessary an outer one as well, takes place through self-knowledge, remorse, and a request for spiritual help before the effects come into play. If this does not happen, if the human being even continues on the wrong path in self-will, then My law takes effect—sooner or later; for time exists only in your dimension. This “later” tempts many into the mistaken assumption that either the law of sowing and reaping does not exist or they are not subject to its effects simply because a few years or decades have passed without correspondingly negative events occurring in their lives.
Truly, I tell you, the principle of personal causation—like all My laws—is not subject to the limitations of space and time. This means that no cause simply dissolves into nothing by itself just because human life in matter comes to an end. The soul carries its “debits and credits” within itself, and when it crosses the threshold, when it enters the world beyond the veil, it has neither automatically taken on anything that was previously foreign to it nor lost anything of what previously still clung to the human being. As the tree falls, so it lies, with all its magnificent blossoms, its shade-giving foliage, or its wonderful fruits, but also—always figuratively speaking—with its deformities, injuries, parasites, and much more.
Everything is energy, as your scientists have long since recognized; and they have also recognized that energy cannot be destroyed. But if everything is energy, then the condition of a soul at its transition belongs to this as well; and if nothing can be destroyed, then what was previously caused through the human being continues to exist, for good as well as for evil. Whether, according to your reckoning of time, decades, centuries, millennia, or even eons have passed—if you think of the Fall—what is not transformed into positive, constructive energy remains in its negative, low-vibrating state. This applies both to the overall condition of the soul and to individual aspects of the soul.

Many of your men and women, endowed with a correspondingly strong sense of justice and the necessary intellect, have been inspired from the spirit to create on earth a legal order that—for all its imperfection—nevertheless reflects the desire and has the goal of shaping human coexistence according to the principles of order and equality. When you say that there is no justice in this world, that statement is true to the extent that your laws cannot encompass and therefore cannot take into account many things; and this is because of the errors, loopholes, and immaturity they must inevitably possess, since they were created on and within matter.
Moreover, whoever has the necessary financial means, occupies a position of strength in business, society, and politics, has the necessary connections, and proceeds more subtly with methods that are not in accordance with the law than his fellow human beings often has the possibility of evading the reach of worldly jurisdiction. This creates incomprehension, anger, and rage in those who feel disadvantaged in this way; and it lulls those who feel themselves victors into the false security that they have successfully escaped the law. But this is merely an apparent security. Viewed from the spiritual perspective, such conduct can under certain circumstances have fatal consequences. And the spiritual is what is ultimately decisive, even though it is often misunderstood, ridiculed, rejected, or disregarded.
In the world, therefore, the principle of personal causation, including the consequences it must have in the sense of a higher justice, cannot function without error. Does that perhaps mean it cannot be applied at all? What insights and answers arise if you open yourselves to a far deeper consideration? If, from the standpoint that I am love, mercy, and justice, you seek a solution that does justice to everyone because I love everyone?
Take with Me a step that leads you from your human view into a higher view. Look with Me “behind the scenes,” and in doing so do not forget your endeavor to practice the logic of the heart.
Divine justice means that no one has to experience or suffer anything that has nothing to do with him. The law of attraction ensures a flawless sequence here. In your world it rightly applies that whoever buys or orders something must pay the required price for it—and not a stranger who had nothing to do with the purchase or order. And whoever finds himself in a hospital with a leg in a cast knows that he himself broke his leg—and not his neighbor, even if he may not remember the accident. Do you believe that in divine creation, incomparably greater and more complex than your little world, this principle does not apply?
Truly, I tell you, if even a single star were not in its position, if even one little flower did not grow and thrive in its place, if even one cloud did not take the path appointed for it, indeed if there were even one single occurrence in creation that did not take place within My laws—creation would long ago have ceased to exist. But creation not only exists; it expands, it grows without ceasing.
Is this not evidence that—as has so often been said—God makes no mistake? The system of creation can exist only without error, or not at all! If the doubters among you now point to the many imperfections that are appearing around you on an ever greater scale, let them be reminded that it is the human being who tries to correct creation. But even this human endeavor is subject to My law—with all its consequences, because the principle of personal causation cannot be circumvented. Yet the human being can submit to it, in recognizing his faults and weaknesses, and ask love and mercy to turn to good, mitigate, or dissolve the things he has caused through self-will.

Although it is evident even to the simplest mind that the one who causes damage, a deficit, or a loss must answer for what he has done, this principle is very often grossly disregarded when it comes to bringing about honest clarification in private or business life or on the great stage of public life.
Failing to question causes, skirting unpleasant facts, looking away, and not addressing obvious inconsistencies and violations of law are the order of the day. Answer for yourselves whether consideration for the other person or calculation lies behind such conduct. Or is it fear of criticism that might come back? Or fear of coming under fire oneself? Or simply disregard for the prevailing sense of justice, which one overrides—elegantly packaged and presented as diplomacy or even as love of neighbor—not least in order not to endanger one’s own interests?
Such conduct—that is, the temporary suspension of the principle of personal causation—may for a while appear to be crowned with success in matter. But only in appearance, for in the reality of true life, spiritual life, which stands above everything, such manipulation cannot endure.
An honest accounting, toward oneself and lovingly and understandingly toward others when there is reason for it, never has anything to do with assigning blame if it is made in the spirit of selfless love. Heaven knows no assigning of blame; the world certainly does. Where it is used as an instrument of oppression and control, it bears satanic traits and sooner or later turns against its originator.
Heaven is love; My law is love. In My law there is no place for assigning blame—not because guilt does not exist, but because I have other possibilities for moving the human being to recognize his wrong behavior and to change. Assigning blame has never led a sinner back into freedom. It, and the feelings of guilt that follow in its wake, bind the human being; figuratively speaking, they make him “tread water.” What allows the human being to become free is the recognition of his wrong behavior, remorse, and the request directed to heaven for help in turning back. To put it in a short, colloquially simple formula: Feelings of guilt are from the devil; remorse is from God!
In this, the principle of personal causation is by no means overlooked. On the contrary, it constitutes the foundation, the prerequisite for a profound change, for something I called “character formation” not long ago. It approaches the human being in an entirely different way that has nothing to do either with the practiced human behavior of looking the other way or with assigning blame.
My help as your divine brother represents the only solution, the only way, when it comes to becoming free of the effects of the principle of personal causation. I therefore do not suspend this law; rather, if you wish, I lead you into freedom, out of the bonds that arose through human behavior that did not accord with the commandment of love.
Precisely because the principle of personal causation constitutes the foundation of justice, it is ensured that nothing can befall you that does not in some form have something to do with you. Whether it is meant to serve you as a learning process—in a figurative sense everything is to be regarded as a learning process—or gives you the chance to practice selfless service, or comes to you as something to be worked off, while always also containing the possibility of making amends. In most cases, however, fate presents itself as a mixture of all these components.
But I repeat Myself because this is important for you and because you can arrive at a new, well-founded understanding of faith if you anchor it in your heart: What is intended for “your neighbor” will also be “delivered” to him. No one therefore has to carry a little package that is not addressed to him! The assumption that chance exists or that heaven has made a mistake can therefore safely be deleted for good.

As its most important aspect, unknown to most, the principle of personal causation contains My helping hand offered to every willing soul and every willing human being, to help selflessly, unconditionally, and actively in transforming and dissolving his burdens. The point is not merely to acknowledge Me as the Redeemer who reopened the heavens two thousand years ago. Faith in Me and hope in My grace are indeed an important element on the way back home, but they are not everything. They can be compared with foundation pillars on which your inner work rests.
Not merely important but decisive is that you include Me in your life; that you know I live within you; that you give Me the opportunity to lend you a helping hand when it comes to letting your soul become brighter and freer. The fact that I am the One who can not only help you “somehow, in the abstract,” but that I—quite concretely and in a way you can follow—am the One who wants to reshape your life already during your lifetime and is also able to do so, is largely unknown. Still far less known is that I am the only One to whom this is possible, because I am the only One who can carry out the necessary changes in the depths of your soul. This brings about a fundamentally different vibration of the soul, with the result that the law of attraction can then bring about something different from before.
Because the consequences of a change in your world, that is, in space and time, do not become noticeable as immediately as in subtle realms, I want to enlighten you about how a change takes place in souls in the beyond, provided they have the desire and willingness to go into brighter worlds.
As yet there are few among you who perform the service of love known as “work with souls” for your brothers and sisters in the realms of souls. They do this exclusively selflessly, in My name, in My Spirit. They have no interest in establishing contact with the astral worlds out of curiosity, because they know the dangers of such conduct. But they have a heart full of compassion for their brothers and sisters who often eke out their lives in the beyond under not very pleasant circumstances. They know how quickly the situation changes for willing souls when these recognize their wrongdoing, feel remorse, and ask for help.
Because the beyond is not subject to the limitations of space and time, a change toward what is luminous can take place immediately there. It does not take long for the veils that have lain over the eyes of the souls until then to lift, and for the many helpers to be recognized who are simply waiting to be allowed to be loving and understanding companions on the way. If, after corresponding enlightenment and realization, the souls come to the decision that they no longer want to remain in the self-caused state of uncertainty, sadness, and hopelessness, often also in cold and darkness, if they turn to love in prayer, then what you call a miracle happens:
The mists lift; a light appears, first on the horizon, then it comes closer and finally fills the space; then eyes and ears open, guardian angels and spiritual helpers are perceived, and the previous heaviness gives way to increasing lightness and joy. And if the situation requires it, I too am in the midst of My brothers and sisters, and they recognize Me as the love for which they long. A new stage of life has begun for such a soul, which now walks on the road at whose end it will be received by light.
There are no waiting periods. Every call from a heart that longs for love is heard—immediately, not at some later time. Certainly the ascent does not take place in the same way for all souls, which is due to their individual burdens. But a cry for help is never ignored, deliberately disregarded, delayed, or put off until later. The law of My love does not permit this.
Now transfer this image to life in matter, perhaps to your own life. No one can truly believe that I created two laws: a merciful one for the realms of souls, and an unmerciful, unjust, and faulty one for matter. What, then, follows from this? Use the logic of your heart.
Just as immediately as in the subtle realms, a turning toward divine love also has its effect in your gross-material world. For just as the purely spiritual world is near the souls, it is also around the human being. And I live within everyone as the power that redeems, strengthens, and brings home.
The fact that the consequences of a change do not—not always—become noticeable immediately is, as I already explained to you, due to your existence in space and time. If, for example, something in matter is to be initiated and directed into a different course, switches often have to be set beforehand. Many changes cannot take place immediately also because other people must be included in the process. And, I say with a smile, you know from your own experience how difficult that can become with a human being who resists by invoking his free will …
But none of this changes the fact that the same thing takes place on this side and the other: My divine power of love steps in as soon as the human being expresses that, by free decision, he intends from now on to endeavor to live within the law of My love. For better understanding:
Depending on how deeply the human being has become entangled in misconduct or bad habits, it is difficult or even impossible for him to free himself from them by his own strength. He lacks spiritual support, without which he cannot bring about real change. But one thing is always possible: to make a decision! This costs no strength, though sometimes a little courage, because the human being does not know what will happen as a result.
But one thing happens with certainty: At the moment of the decision My flow of energy increases, flowing through the soul and finally into the human being. This energy makes it possible for the human being to prepare and take the next steps. Heaven therefore expects no advance performance, still less demands it; it needs only a decision, a cry for help, a request—and mercy begins its work.
If My law were not arranged in this way, many of My brothers and sisters would have no possibility of moving forward on their path; as was the situation before My sacrifice on Golgotha, when the heavens were still closed and the prerequisites for re-entry into the eternal home were created only through My act of redemption. Since then all souls and human beings carry within them My supporting and strengthening spark of redemption as additional energy.
Your desire to lay aside faults and weaknesses and transform them into positive qualities, to make amends for wrong, to be the first to extend your hand in reconciliation, is therefore enough to bring the powers of love into your life to a greater degree than before. And not only is this enough for a new beginning: There is no other way!
My human brothers and sisters often try to circumvent the principle of personal causation in the assumption that in this way they can become free of burdens or keep future adversity away. Can you imagine a power strong enough to circumvent My law? Since and because this is impossible, everything undertaken in this direction is like trying to “cast out the devil with Beelzebub,” that is, fighting or replacing one evil with another, usually worse one.
Truly, I tell you, it is not possible to escape the law of cause and effect by practicing techniques and rites, offering sacrifices, putting externals in the place of realization and remorse, speaking prayers from the head, and much else. Even if many incarnations have passed since causes were set—incarnations that may have been lived without major problems—no guilt dissolves by itself. That would not correspond to justice, to My love, or to the principle of equality, because it would disadvantage those who, recognizing their guilt, especially when it is serious guilt, have humbly and remorsefully bowed their heads.
But there is a much easier way than unsuccessfully trying to avoid the consequences of the principle of personal causation. It is the way I have shown you in many revelations and again today. In this way the law of cause and effect loses the terror it still holds for many who do not yet know Me rightly. It still retains its validity because it ensures justice—not harshness!—but it is recognized as an instrument of love that serves to foster realization and the will to turn back within the human being.
The way of solution I offer to all souls and human beings, regardless of the seriousness or extent of the burden they carry, is this: I extend My hand to you. I make you strong and courageous. From now on I am at your side more powerfully. I expect no advance performance whatsoever. Your good will is enough for Me, perhaps the longing that begins to stir within you, and your decision. I am waiting for you.
Do not be afraid; do not bury yourselves in your guilt, which dissolves more and more and finally has no significance before Me when your turning back is sincere. Certainly it can and will happen that you fall again. Then stand up; My arm will support you, not merely figuratively. Do not make life harder for yourselves than it already is. Certainly, after your decision, after your first step toward freedom, “work” awaits you, first and foremost inner work. But see it positively: We go to work together.
What could be more beautiful than the divine promise of a future in which the principle of personal causation loses more and more of its influence and no longer hangs over your heads like a sword? And in which I, the love within the Father, am your brother and friend within you and at your side? With all My love.
I bless you who hear and read My words. And with My blessing My power of love flows to you. Open your hearts, turn My words over within you, and make yourselves aware again and again: Heaven is love, nothing but love. And you are creatures of heaven!
