Divine Revelation
My beloved sons and daughters, you are children of the Most High, creatures of the omnipotence that called everything that is into life. You are beings of infinity and share in My strength, My beauty, My consciousness—in everything that is; for I have been giving Myself away from eternity and into eternity. And whoever sincerely endeavors to find Me within will experience the delights of My love more and more. Then it will no longer be a question for him whether he exchanges his own wishes and desires for the security, joy, fulfillment, and healing that he receives in return.
On the one hand, I am of a diversity that knows no limits and likewise of a depth that no one can fathom, and the possibilities I make use of exceed the powers of imagination of every creature, all the more those of a human being living within the limitations of matter. My consciousness has no beginning and no end. When I speak to you of the fact that I am, then these two words express everything that can be expressed in your language—more words and detailed explanations would accomplish nothing. They would only confuse you and tempt your intellect to debate aloud or in thought. But the one who does not place his intellect in the foreground, but uses it—as intended—as the “right hand of the heart,” will recognize Me in the “I am.”
Thus, although I am beyond the grasp of any being, I can nevertheless be experienced. My infinity does not lead Me to sit enthroned in distant heavens, unreachable by My creatures; and the fact that no one can penetrate My intelligence does not mean that I cannot be understood. In My wisdom I have made provision so that I can nevertheless reach everyone at any time—and he can reach Me—in a way that joins the complexity of My creation with the simplicity of a loving connection: I live in everything I have created! Thus there is an everlasting—and therefore indestructible—relationship between Me and you!
And beyond that I have established as the foundation of all life, all belonging together, all happiness, and all striving a law that, with good will, is so easy to understand that no one is excluded because of his particular abilities and possibilities: My law of all-embracing, selfless, and unconditional love. Reduced to its core statement, to the simplest denominator, it says: love—and nothing else!
I am a God whose immediacy, nearness, and direct guidance can be experienced when you bring Me down from distant heavens and from your altars, and when you free Me from the dead letters of your Scripture. Then I become for you a living, faithfully caring Father, a tender Mother, a trusted Friend, and a dependable Brother. Then—but only then—when you have recognized Me within and begin to live with Me in your daily life, do you experience what it truly means to be wrapped in My love, as you so often sing. Everything else, even though I am always with you and accompany you in every moment of your life, is only a faint reflection of what an intimate bond of love between Me and you represents.

When you celebrate Christmas in a few days, it will be an occasion for many to pause and reflect: on the meaning of this feast, on themselves, their lives, their goals, and much more. I want to outline a few aspects for you—and in doing so I address especially those who endeavor to come nearer and nearer to Me—that may help you shift your perspective a little. Then suddenly some things can be seen with different eyes and perhaps considered more thoroughly as well.
At Christmas you celebrate My coming, My birth; at Easter you celebrate My “It Is Accomplished,” My redemption. Both are the beginning and the end of a unique event that you cannot truly comprehend; both belong together and therefore form a unity, even though you set different emphases. They are nothing other than the two different sides of the same coin. The earthly final point was set on Golgotha, after I, as Jesus of Nazareth, had previously proclaimed the love of God for many years and lived it before you.
The goal of My mission, beginning in Bethlehem and completed on the cross, was to set in motion the bringing home of all who had fallen. Symbolically speaking, I opened the heavens again so that everyone who was and is willing can find his way back to his Father’s house. The term “redemption” stands for what I did for My children.
Today I want to define “redemption” in another way, because this word is very abstract for many, often merely spoken without much thought and in many cases not understood. In place of redemption I use the term “freedom,” a freedom that was indeed given to My human children but is lived in only a few cases. And by this I mean an inner freedom that can make free children of God out of people who are still bound to their ideas and patterns of behavior. That was the goal of My incarnation: to place in your hand the key with which you are able to unlock the lock on your human fetters, and then to enter the land of freedom and light, at the end of which I wait for you in order to go with you into the heavens reopened through My death on the cross.
When I speak of “key, gate, and opened heavens,” I use figurative language because it is not possible to represent with your words an energetic event that takes place in other dimensions. Neither the subtle levels nor the highest-vibrating realms of the heavens are above or below. Because of their higher vibration they permeate everything gross-material; they “lie side by side” like the different frequencies of your radio stations. And according to the law of attraction, like finds like.
“Coming from the heavens to earth” therefore means a reduction in vibration, an adaptation to material conditions. And “opening the heavens again” means that a kind of energetic blockage—which arose because of the Fall and had formed around the heavens—was dissolved. In this way entry into the eternal home became possible again, provided there is a correspondence in vibration between the heavens and the soul willing to return home. My parable of the prodigal son, whom longing for his Father’s house moves to turn back, describes this process in an easily understandable way.

The desire for freedom is present in each one of you because I endowed everyone with the gift of freedom. It is part of you, and sooner or later the desire for it will become so strong in everyone that it determines your thinking and actions. Free children of God cannot be controlled, manipulated, fettered, or patronized. Darkness therefore had to do everything it could to restrict the freedom of My creatures, preferably in such a way that they did not notice it. It did so by offering them a brightly shimmering substitute for their inner freedom; but also by twisting My word and thereby creating incomprehension all the way to unbelief, and not least it continues to work with the means of fear, by which it destroys trust in a loving God.
My teaching of love for God and neighbor places in human hands the tool for becoming free—first and foremost from themselves, from their faults and weaknesses, their imperfections and fetters, and subsequently also from their many attachments to what the world regards as absolutely worth striving for and possessing. This simple teaching is a guideline valid for all human beings and souls and overburdens no one. But it requires that the path of self-knowledge and change be taken—on this side as well as the other. For development continues there as well, step by step, initiated by one’s own willing and endeavor and accompanied by My never-ending support in the form of My love and mercy.
As Jesus of Nazareth I gave you, as a kind of “heading,” the commandment of love for God and neighbor; as the Christ-Spirit of God revealing Himself in your time, I explain in many teachings, with detailed help for daily life, how you can fulfill this commandment. Whether you are already successfully “working” with these tools can be seen, among other things, in how much your trust in Me has grown. Sons and daughters who have set out for the Father’s house begin to build a trust in My guidance that the world does not know and that in earlier times was foreign to them as well.
“Trust,” I once said, “expresses itself as the sum of the experiences you have had with Me.” The greater and more unshakable your trust has become, the more difficult stretches of life we have successfully mastered together! Let this sentence fall deeply into you; in a quiet hour, if you wish, reflect on it. And if you should find that your trust could still become greater, consider in which situations and in what way you can help forge the bond between Me and you ever more firmly. So firmly that—as one of your sayings puts it—“not even a sheet of paper can fit between us.”
That is what I desire: that you go through your daily life with all its obstacles unwaveringly and purposefully; that you take Me on board your ship of life as its pilot; that inwardly you mature so far and become so strong that in every situation of your life I can convey to you: “Come what may, I have done what I could. Now it is the turn of my Father who loves me. And I know—not merely: I believe or am convinced, but I know—that He never makes a mistake. Never, ever! Therefore what comes must be good for me—even when I cannot or cannot always see the paths along which He guides me and do not yet know His plan for me.”
That, My beloved, is trust!
So that My children may learn to grow into this trust and develop love for Me in order to begin the return journey to the heavens, I came into the world. That was and is—timelessly and unconditionally valid—My gift for you, which I brought with My incarnation. That was and is My “Christmas gift”: My love for your freedom! Do you accept it? It becomes and works ever more comprehensively and intensely the more you “work” with it.

Everything in My creation is evolution, which means that nothing is excluded from a gradual development that serves learning and experience. If now—figuratively speaking—you see My commandment of love “above” and human behavior “below,” it becomes clear that a gulf exists here that cannot simply be overcome or made to disappear with a stroke of the pen. I am a God of patience, gentleness, and mercy. Never would I demand of My human children something they are unable to fulfill.
Thus My love indeed applies equally to all, but not everyone is able to cross the gulf of which I just spoke in a few steps; certainly not in a single life that—according to false teaching—is then followed by a final judgment.
What chances, what possibilities, then, do those have who do not yet want or are not yet able to orient themselves immediately toward the highest goals of My divine teaching and toward My life as Jesus of Nazareth? Am I to leave them alone in their inability, perhaps in their loneliness?
Have you ever considered what your life and further development in the beyond will look like? And what they looked like before you came into this life? Surely you do not believe that the beings, whether they inhabit the heavens or luminous subtle realms, spend their “time” cheering and rejoicing. Their joy—in a certain but different way also a cheering and rejoicing—arises from the fact that they are allowed to help make possible the necessary learning steps for other brothers and sisters. At the same time they themselves develop through this service of love. That is “work in the vineyard of the Lord.”
Countless of My faithful ones have incarnated, especially in this difficult era, out of love for their neighbors. Just as on the other side spiritual growth is possible only through serving—with humility developing at the same time—so it is on your earth as well: Many beings from luminous realms have heard My call in their hearts to help bring their brothers and sisters on earth back and thereby to mature, to advance in soul development. This means that all over the world there are people who consciously and freely decided to incarnate.
If you now ask yourself whether you too belong to those who placed themselves at My side for this task, then pay attention to your inner feelings. Does My word touch you? Do you sense a joyful stirring within that signals to you: I did not incarnate only for myself. I also came to help, to help prepare the great return?
Do not immediately push such stirrings and similar ones aside. They want to tell you something about yourself and about what you intended for this life.
At the beginning of My revelation I said that with My word I would address those—but not only those—who endeavor to take the path to My heart. They are the ones of whom I have just spoken: My strong sons and daughters, who have made it their task to put their love for Me and for their neighbors very practically into action. They are the countless ones—even if I cannot yet reach them all equally—who in daily life endeavor to fulfill My commandment of love in the place where I have put them; indeed, who often fulfill it without knowing that in doing so they serve Me and their neighbor. Their good will, their honest intention, their serious endeavor are enough for Me.

One thing is written into the soul of all who go to earth as messengers of light: that their own development is not an end in itself, but that working on themselves—their inner work—is the prerequisite for being able to fulfill what they have undertaken. They do this in their marriages, in their families, in their professions, in their neighborhoods—in short, in living together with their neighbors. In this way, by serving as an example, they often form a kind of connecting link and can help many a person for whom the gulf between “above” and “below” still appears very great or even impossible to cross.
The example lived out, as you know from your own experience, is still the best argument when it comes to moving your neighbor to reflect and perhaps also to change his behavior. Your world lacks examples who put My teaching of love into practice with sincere endeavor. Much is spoken and written. Countless words, usually arising from the intellect, a desire to proselytize, or fanaticism, virtually flood people. They accomplish very little when and because they often lack heart, warmth, personal experience, and knowledge of the life shared with Me. And when the fruits of such work do not appear in the hoped-for way, then prohibitions, threats, and fear not infrequently come into play in order to move people to believe in a God.
But this, My beloved, is not how the world can be changed for the better. It is changed by those who live My commandments in their daily life, not by those who say, “Lord, Lord …” It is changed by those who endeavor to be an example; who thereby exert a positive influence on the people around them; who, without making much talk of it, proclaim through their lives that they are together with Me; who develop within themselves the unshakable trust of which I spoke earlier.
They are those who are ready to reflect on themselves and, where necessary, to change something.
Whoever went out for Me and his neighbor knows the necessity of becoming an example within the scope of his possibilities. He also knows that I stand at his side with many spiritual helpers. He is not only a hearer or reader of My word, but begins to use the tools I make available to him. He has entered into the adventure of an intimate life together with Me—and radiates what love, understanding, and trust have already been opened within him. In this way he changes his “little world” and the people in it.
The gift of freedom has been accepted by those who have set out to become, and finally to be, an example. In this way it will become easier for many a person who still has difficulty putting the commandment of love for God and neighbor into practice—because its demand seems too high to him—to take his first steps. The stone that has fallen into the water sends out its circles …
With My blessing I strengthen My entire creation, for My blessing is the same as My power of love, which gives life to everything. But all those who through their yes to Me have opened their hearts wide are strengthened in a special way. This special strengthening is not the privilege of a few. Into every open heart, into every receptive consciousness that through its yes expresses its surrender to Me—“Father, I will endeavor to be an example for my neighbor in Your spirit”—more strength can flow than into one that is scarcely open or still closed. Yet there too I am present with My love and know: I will gather everyone into My arms again!
