Divine Revelation

I, Christ, who am the love within the Father, address My word to you today, My beloved brothers and sisters. As Jesus of Nazareth I was a human being among My human children and lived under the same conditions under which they lived at that time and to which human beings are still subject today.

Within every human being dwells a spiritual being whose original home is in heaven, and it was no different with Me. Yet even though it was divine love that incarnated in the boy Jesus, life nevertheless offered him no exclusive conditions. This could not have been otherwise, if only because My life was meant to be an example that everyone of good will had to be able to follow—and still can today.

So I too had to struggle and contend, recognize My human self with its faults and weaknesses—which I had, however, voluntarily taken upon Myself and had not brought into life as burdens of the soul—and strive to live the love I carried within Me and gradually to express it outwardly as well. That was My “inner work,” even though it did not bear that name. It was nourished by the strength of My soul and by the knowledge that My task was to glorify God through My life, to let the Spirit within Me come forth and at the same time let the human self become less and less important, until I could not merely say but also live: “I for You, and You through me, my God!” And this in every moment of My life.

This aspect of turning toward and finally surrendering to the all-governing, selfless, and unconditional love that I brought close to human beings as their Source of life—their Father—I want to deepen a little with you today.

For this I will lead you into an inner contemplation, which, if you wish, you may also call a meditation, though I will return later to its significance.

Breathe calmly, switch off the worldly thoughts still present, and direct your attention inward … Gradually the physical boundaries dissolve, and your capacity for inner feeling grows … Let your inner eyes gaze into the vastness … Everything is light, everything is easy … Everything is boundless … You float in another world, in a world of freedom, freedom from care, contentment … Wonderful colors surround you … The rising and falling of manifold life passes through the expanses … Sounds previously unknown reach your ear … A breath of infinity surrounds you …

In the distance you see beings of light; weightlessly they draw near to you … Although you cannot remember ever having seen them before, they are not strangers to you … They radiate something in which you immediately place your trust … There is no question that you follow them after they ask you to … Your surroundings have taken on contours … Landscapes of otherworldly beauty open before you … More and more of these beings of light join you … They greet and embrace you like old acquaintances—and you sense that you and they truly are “old acquaintances” … Over everything lies a deep quiet that nevertheless—you cannot quite place it—is full of life …

But what predominates is a peace you do not know, compared with which the moments of so-called peace you have experienced until now are only a faint reflection … You notice how everyone treats one another, that there are no “superiors” and no “inferiors,” that everyone shows the same appreciation to everyone else: the “small” to the “great” and likewise the other way around … Differences of rank in the worldly sense do not exist, and if a being radiates a greater power of light, this testifies solely to its readiness to serve and its humility and to the ability it has already acquired to help its brothers and sisters on their path …

You think of your earthly concepts of “freedom, equality, and fraternity,” yet at the same time recognize that this here is much, much more and has an entirely different, deeper meaning … And above all, that one aspect—one vibration—predominates here that you classify as love, even though in this form you have never before encountered it in your life … Somehow everything is familiar to you, although it should really be strange to you … The question arises within you: Is this perhaps familiar to me because it awakens old memories within me? … Memories of what? Of whom? Of what time? …

You turn to one of your companions, and before you have to formulate your question he answers you: “This is not the first time you have been here. We are allowed to bring what has been forgotten back into your awareness and fulfill your wish to look and feel once into what awaits you—later. You have long recognized that the earth is not your true home. Your true home is heaven, from which you came and to which you will return. These are not yet the heavens—your original and at the same time future home in the consciousness of God, because you could not yet grasp that—but this is meant to give you an impression of where you belong and where all your longing, often still unknown even to yourself, and your love are directed” …

You can scarcely tear yourself away from this beauty and splendor … from this harmony … from the pulsating life that nevertheless flows calmly along … from the openness and warmth … from the lightheartedness and all-embracing understanding … from the deep inner feeling: Everything is good … and from the all-pervading love that every being extends toward you … You have immersed yourself in a new life, one you have not known before, and would most like to remain in it permanently … You feel something drawing you that you would follow without question if it were already time to do so …

But I must remind you that you still live in the here and now and gently and lovingly bring you back.

It is good and valuable if from time to time you take the time to go into stillness in this or a similar way. Words formulated by your intellect do not necessarily play the primary role; they should serve merely to help you descend more easily into the world of your feelings, to where your inner feelings lie. For it is from your inner feelings that your thoughts are formed, and then your words and actions. If you are able to perceive your inner feelings, you encounter parts of your being, what you have so far unfolded within your soul; and if these inner feelings are positive, powers of heaven flow to you that make it easier for you to go through daily life with Me.

A meditation is therefore a source of strength that can give you the necessary energy for the tasks your life places before you. It is no substitute for inner work, just as the path by itself is not already the goal. The path is not the goal! All the less so for the one who knows his goal.

I led you into this little exercise of inwardness so that you would once again become conscious of who you truly are: children of the immeasurably great love from which everything is; a love that leaves its children their freedom even when they turn away from this love and go their own ways; a love that at the same time also represents omnipotence and therefore knows that and how it will and can bring its children back to itself!

Whoever knows of the love that waits for him will not hesitate to do everything possible to hurry toward this love. Do you, and you, and you already know this? Do you truly know it—deep in your heart, on the level of your inner feelings? And have you already taken the step of turning toward Me, perhaps even of surrender? Then by free decision you have already set out on the path. And if you do not yet know for certain, if your intellect has already understood it but your heart still hesitates, then let—even if only as an experiment—your longing, which I have just awakened within you, have free rein.

I have repeatedly enlightened you about the law of attraction. It applies both on the small scale, that is, in your daily life, and on the large scale, that is, as a force that will inevitably, sooner or later, draw you back to My heart, to your true home. No being can resist this attraction, and therefore I will bring all My children—without exception—home again. Speaking as your divine brother, as Christ, who is the love within the Father: I will accompany every brother and every sister through all times and lives; I will wait for each and every one and take all back into My arms. If you wish, surrender for a moment to the truth of this promise and in doing so forget everything that still exists within you in false ideas, everything that makes the path seem difficult or even impossible, whatever distress and suffering you may currently have to bear. I am the guarantee that you will find your way back to your starting point, your heavenly home—regardless of what you are doing at present or where you are; regardless of what path lies behind you, and equally regardless of what path still lies before you.

I am who I am. Who will prevent Me from restoring the unity of My creation?

If, then, the path is not the goal, but the goal can be reached only on the path, the question arises for everyone who is willing as to how this is to be accomplished, how he moves forward on the path, and what the promised help—“the brother at your side”—looks like.

Because of false instruction by your theologians, or because of their ignorance or lost faith, many people have the feeling that their life has no meaning, because it resembles a rudderless ship on a roaring ocean. Above all, they do not understand those stretches of their lives that bring them worry, grief, and misery and therefore make it difficult for them to believe in a higher power, divine guidance, or even infinite love. Even those who believe in a heavenly Father often find it difficult to see meaning in times of distress. And then also to say, “Everything is good”—very few are able to do that.

I want to give you an image that can promote your understanding of the “crooked paths” of your lives, that perhaps can lead you not merely to accept these phases of life submissively, but to regard them as necessary—yet with a positive outlook toward what lies ahead. For if you merely accept them in a passive attitude, something decisive is missing: namely, insight, the desire, and the will, through intensive cooperation with Me, to steer around these cliffs of your life and transform the crooked paths into straight ones. This is more than merely accepting suffering, lowering your head, and thinking or saying: “God probably wants things to go badly for me. So what am I supposed to do about it? Then I will simply bow to His will.”

An attitude toward life and toward your path back to Me could hardly be more mistaken—perhaps your attitude? For I send no child suffering. Suffering is self-made and arises from this or an earlier life. It serves as a means of insight and change, set in motion by the law of life. Suffering would prove unnecessary or would at least enter a person’s life only in weakened form if beforehand he had turned toward the law of love and, through his effort, integrated it into his daily life.

From an aerial view, look at the image of a river, perhaps a great river, that has sought its way through mountains and valleys and whose water now flows along this course toward its destination. You will find that the river—originally, when it began to carve out its course—changed direction very often; in some places even larger or smaller loops can be seen. Was not every change of direction necessary? Without them, would the water finally have reached its destination? Every obstacle forced the river to seek new routes; and even though it often seemed as if the water were now flowing in the wrong direction and would never reach its destination, no change in course could have been dispensed with, because without it there would have been no solution, no new orientation, no new stretch of path, and finally no flowing into the sea. Without “detours,” no moving or flowing onward. Every stretch was absolutely necessary as part of the whole, even though it forced the water to seek a new path. Every bend, every arc, every loop—everything was good.

Is it difficult to transfer this image to a human life, to your life? If and because life is a school that continually wants to teach you something, how can anything be wrong in the material placed before you—material that differs for everyone but precisely for that reason is tailored personally to him? How can anything appear useless, superfluous, or too time-consuming and labor-intensive if it contributes to bringing you nearer to your goal?

You too have to master many obstacles in your lives that want to move you toward changes of direction. You do not have to make these changes, for you have free will. But then at some point “the barrel will overflow,” and a change will be initiated by destiny, in a way—and from your point of view also at the wrong time—that, because you did not want to see the signs of your lifetime, that is, the tasks before you, you regard as unjust, indeed as an error on God’s part. Whatever you encounter, in the end it is always a confrontation with your own faults, though the word “fault” is meant neither in the sense of condemnation nor of devaluation, but is to be seen as a possibility of learning something that has not yet been mastered.

If you have grasped the meaning of your earthly life and strive to follow the commandments of love in your daily life, obstacles, bends, arcs, and loops will certainly not fail to appear, but you will regard them as important learning steps waiting to be tackled and mastered. Without this obstacle that stands in your path, no moving forward! Without overcoming a difficult or dangerous place on a mountain hike, no arriving at the summit! But if you have identified the summit as your goal, toward which every fiber of your heart draws you and which must be reached under all circumstances—how, in the end, can every individual stretch, every passage no matter how difficult, fail to be good? For without this part of the route that you would so gladly have gone around or omitted, that you would most like to have struck entirely from your mountain hike, further progress—and thereby reaching the goal—would not have been possible.

Can you, My brother, My sister, from this perspective not after all say: “Everything is good”? Does it not depend on the degree of your longing and the greatness of your love whether you also regard the less successful times of your life as important, necessary steps toward the maturing of your soul? If you can affirm this, a door has opened within you that your previous thinking had kept closed, and that will make it easier for you in the future to continue the path without hesitation.

If you cannot yet do this, but it is your desire to grow into this way of thinking, which is connected with deep trust in Me and in the faultless working of divine laws, then come to Me. Let us talk with one another as brothers and sisters do who love each other. I hear you, I understand you, I will give you all the help that lets you find your way more deeply into the inner feeling that everything is good—because everything you encounter comes from love.

Whether you regard what life presents to you as an opportunity and therefore as a helping hand from Me depends on whether you have recognized and accepted that I am the friend and brother at your side and within you, and that I am the One who offers and gives you help upon help on your journey home when you take My hand. Then high mountains will be removed, and what appears impossible will be transformed, lose its terror, and in retrospect prove to be what it truly was: a learning task without which you would not have progressed.

Without recognizing these connections and without accepting My help, you will not be able to regard anything that happens to you in your life as good. You will see difficulties as hurdles placed in your way by people who do not wish you well, or by so-called chance. Out of your human self you will make efforts without, however, “getting anywhere,” and despite all your attempts and exertions it will be difficult for you to recognize the meaning in and behind everything. In the worst case you will repay like with like and thereby build further obstacles that may finally cause you to put a loop into your life yourselves. This will not interrupt your path, but it will make it harder to walk.

I want to spare you—all of you—from all this, for you are My brothers and sisters whom I love.

If I have now touched your heart, should that not already have been the case long ago, the question may arise whether tackling your life’s tasks is not a difficult undertaking. Some even put it this way: “But that means hard work!”

Truly, I tell you and all of you: each one of you will have to undertake this work. It is a must—one of the few that exist despite free will, because it is part of My immutable divine law—that My creation be reunited. To reach this goal, everything that has fallen or for other reasons left heaven will set out again on the path home. Without a journey home, no return home. And without the return of all, no unity. But unity is written into My law—and My divine will applies!

If you must do the necessary work of insight and change anyway, why do you not want to undertake it together with Me? It has to be done—now or later, alone in self-will or with My help. Incomparably easier, I promise you, it is when you have Me at your side.

But I do not reserve the fruits of your effort only for later; I do not merely put you off with a better life in the beyond that, because of your inner work, will follow your present earthly life. Certainly the law of attraction will work then too and draw your soul, according to its strength and condition, upward into bright spheres, but I tell you: your life will change already now, much will be spared you, much will become easier, and all in all a sense of safety, a trust, and a peace will enter you that were not previously familiar to you to this degree. It is worth fighting for this.

When we have then successfully taken many a step, when one loop or another—that was already announcing itself—has been straightened or did not even have to be traveled in its full extent, then your life will have changed. The law of compensation, which without your love for Me, your neighbor, and yourself settles accounts to the last penny, can no longer unfold its effect upon you. Your goal stands ever more clearly before your eyes, and no human being, no temptation, no fearmongering, and no intellectual games can any longer turn you away from your path. You know who you are, you know what you want, you feel the love that carries you through your daily life, you see the paths I make smooth for you.

Then the moment will come when within you too the inner feeling arises that takes form as a promise and represents surrender to the Spirit of love: “I for You, and You through me.” What is there on earth greater and more beautiful than when you, My brother, My sister, have reached this point!

I bless you, and with My blessing My power flows more strongly to you—and to all who follow My words. Light envelops you; My protection surrounds you. A new beginning, which day by day you can make anew with Me, has been made. Amen.
