The group from the greater Cologne area met on October 15/16, 2011, for its fourth seminar. The main subject was “Inner Work” in all its facets. During our time together the Lord repeatedly addressed us, at times as a community, but at other times personally. We decided to publish the revelations that may be of general interest.
Divine Revelation
My beloved brothers and sisters, do not be surprised that I address you with My revealed word right at the beginning of your meeting. I am in your midst, and when I entered this room I brought with Me many of your friends from the beyond, as well as souls who were invited to take part in your meeting.
And even though My words today are serious, they are nevertheless borne by My love and express My joy that your hearts are wide open, that you are ready to walk this path across the earth with Me, and that you have said yes to learning as you do so. What kind of God would I be if I saw and heard the questions of His children but did not answer them, if I denied them His voice and His help where they urgently needed divine address and strengthening?
So I want to place My word at the beginning of your meeting today, giving it the heading “No One Can Serve Two Masters,” and I will explain what I mean by it.
All of you have recognized yourselves as spiritual beings, as creatures of heaven. You know where you came from, you know why you are here, and you know where you are going. All of you have a goal before your eyes, more or less clearly. And I want to speak with you about this goal and your way toward it.
You have recognized Me as love, and I have told you that the same love is within you. And according to the law I have often explained to you—that like again attracts like—I draw all My creatures to My heart.
This is My will, and therefore it will happen!
Now I ask you, and you, and you: Is this also your goal? And I ask you to consider your answer carefully. Of course you know that one day you will again be in My arms. But is this the goal already before your eyes now? And have you already directed all your longing toward this one goal—namely, to love Me and therefore your neighbor and therefore yourself? Am I the One with whom you speak in your daily life, with whom you live? Am I the goal from which you will not allow yourself to be diverted? Just as two people in love find their way to one another and nothing can keep them apart?
If this is so, My brother, My sister, then I tell you: the powers of heaven flow to you a thousandfold, and you will walk your way surely toward the goal until you are with Me again!
To reach a goal one must know the way there. It is not enough, as your Eastern philosophy says, to believe that the way itself is already the goal. I am the goal of all My creatures! And every one of them, whether it knows this or not, is on the way to Me and cannot be lost. The only difference is that many of My human children walk paths on which things do not go very well for them, because they walk them in self-will or because they were seduced.
Another consideration is this: In what manner do you want to walk your way, or are you already walking it? I tell you, there are many paths and many ways of walking them; there are easy paths and difficult ones. Which path a person chooses is subject to his free will. And it depends on what past he has, for the past, perhaps with very many incarnations, shapes the soul and the human being and thereby determines—at least in part—the path that lies ahead. But whichever path one chooses, it should be one walked with complete clarity, awareness, and determination.
I want to give you an image for this. There are paths on which you need rubber boots, and there are paths on which you need hiking boots. What happens if you wear a rubber boot on one foot and a hiking boot on the other? Can you imagine that this will not be comfortable walking? Sooner or later you will have difficulties, even though in both cases it is footwear.
When I told you, “No one can serve two masters,” I mean this: put on either boots or hiking shoes, or, if you wish, sandals, or go barefoot—but do not begin mixing different things.
The same applies when you are on the way to Me. Many messages are in the world, and all have their own character, their own vibration. It would be good if each person decided on one way, that is, on one pair of shoes of the same kind, and did not succumb to the temptation to mix. Otherwise, whether you want it or not, whether you know it or not, you enter a field of tension that in the best case keeps you standing still and in the worst case tears you apart inwardly.
It is as if you wanted to travel down a river in two boats, your left leg in one boat and your right leg in the other. When someone comes and points out that this could be dangerous, many say: “But it is the same water.” Yet I tell you: the water has different currents, currents whose intensity and direction you often do not recognize.
So whoever wants to walk his way to Me should walk it by deciding on one pair of shoes of the same kind. I do not tell you which pair you should take, except that I bring the laws close to you and give you impulses. Everything else is subject to your free will, which decides where you feel drawn. Strictly speaking, therefore, there are no right or wrong paths, nor even detours, for all are paths of realization, learning, and maturing. But there are paths that, as I have already said, make it easier or more difficult for you.
I tell you only this: decide, and then walk a stretch in your shoes. And if you find that this is not the path you imagined, then change your shoes and correct your journey. But do not begin mixing.
If you wish, exchange thoughts in this circle about what has just been revealed. It contains a greater help than you may recognize at this moment; for the danger too is greater than you think.
I have often spoken about the fact that you are never alone—not only you, but no human being anywhere in the world. The powers of heaven are with you and want to guide and support you, but the forces of darkness are also there and want to make things difficult for you. And wherever in the world people join together to move forward together in My Spirit, do not believe that the forces of darkness will stand idly by as people strive toward the light. Whether they succeed in disturbing, perhaps even destroying, depends exclusively on those who walk the way; it depends on whether they have a clear goal before their eyes and direct their longing, their love, and their life toward this goal—toward Me.
Be certain that I love you above all, that I give you help, support, and direct guidance as far as this is possible for Me because of your free will. But also know that the adversary does not sleep. Whether he can influence you depends exclusively on your steadfastness, your love, your yes to Me, and your request for strengthening.
I bless you, I bless these hours, and be certain: I am with you, just as I am always in the midst of those who love Me.

The following revealed word was preceded by a discussion about the term “Lord” and also about why God is always addressed only as “Father” and not also as “Mother,” since He is everything.
Divine Revelation
I am your God, the Lord of creation, and in the spiritual realm My name has a different sound. Here on your earth it is burdened with negative associations. But truly, I tell you: in the deep love of the Father I embrace you, I bless you, and you are My blessing for the world. For when you have opened your heart, My love flows ceaselessly through you. My life flows through you in any case, but with the power of love it is somewhat different, for it touches the dark side of My children who have turned away from Me.
And here the word “Lord” comes into play, for truly: they wanted to be greater than I. I had to make clear to them that despite all love I am the Lord. And because I am love, I had mercy and created a place for My children in which they could learn and develop. Again and again I sent My children from above into the darkness as fellow fighters.
Now you are here on this planet, I stand before you, and My Father’s heart is wide open. I bless you, and in love I trace a cross upon your forehead so that in the coming time this cross may illuminate the darkness and at the same time show you the way, so that you know that you are connected with Me.
When you say to Me, “I love You, Father,” this gladdens My heart, and I answer you: “I love you, My child. I love you, and I hold you pressed to My heart.”
Just as in earthly life there is a father and a mother, so I am—though in one person—Father and Mother God. It is simply better for some, because they have learned nothing different from the beginning, to believe in a Father God. But, My child, if you call Me Mother, that too is in My divine order. Thus I am Father and Mother to you at the same time.
I want to remind you once more that when you bless, remember to direct your love also toward the child who caused the Fall of creation. For she has special need of your love, and for this child you too went to this earth, to help Me and My child, your sister.
Remember this again and again, and consider whether you can say: “Father, I love You; Father, I also love her, and I rejoice when everything is once again united in unity, when all have returned. For this is why I went out: to help all my brothers and sisters find the way home again.”
See, you are here in this circle, and you radiate a light that shines into infinity. It is a light that also touches the realms that are still dark. And to those who stand there astonished and wonder that there are human children who love God, who said yes to this earthly path and then set out upon it, I have placed Myself in their way and said: “Here, My child, here I am. I truly exist; and believe Me, I am a speaking God, a speaking Father.” Many were and are astonished by this, for they had learned that God is far away, somewhere, perhaps a figure with a white beard. Heaven is far away, you were taught; hell is nearer, and somehow one supposedly ends up somewhere. Then you began to seek Me, and I told you:
“My child, I am your Father. I love you, I have always loved you, and if you wish, then place your life and your will into My hand. Then I will guide you across this earth, and you will be connected with Me in joy, but also on paths that are sometimes painful. And when you walk paths of suffering, consider whether you can still say then: ‘Father, I love You.’” Amen.
Divine Revelation
From My Father’s heart My joy flows toward you, and it flows into your open hearts, the hearts of My children whom I love, who love Me, and to whom I am so near.
All My children are children of light and therefore perfect. All come from Me and thus carry My divinity within them; and whether they left the heavens out of selfish motives or went in order to help their brothers and sisters in the realms outside the heavens, including matter, is not of great importance to Me, for I love all equally. Nor should this be of great importance to you when you look at the world or at individual people. Take care not to fall into the error of distinguishing between those who are from the Fall and those who come from the light—a distinction that you cannot make without error anyway.
A being that goes from the light to earth is subject in its incarnation to the same laws as a being that comes from the Fall. For My justice requires equal conditions for all. When a pure spirit being in the heavens sees the distress and misery of its brothers and sisters on earth, the desire can awaken within it to help them. Then, endowed with My blessing of love, it will leave the heavens and pass through the various levels down into matter. As it does so, various coverings of the soul form around its spirit-body—together referred to as the soul—which are finally enclosed by the solid-material covering, the human body.
In descending into matter, every soul that comes from the heavens—and I emphasize every one, for this law applied to Me as well when I incarnated in the human being Jesus of Nazareth—voluntarily takes burdens upon itself. This happens, first, because it is not possible to exist in matter with its lower vibration as a perfect creature of the highest energetic vibration and highest consciousness; and second, in order to serve as an example to darkness and show it that faults and weaknesses, whether voluntarily assumed or not, can be overcome. Beyond this, every overcoming and every transformation of a fault and weakness lessens the total burden of guilt that arose through the Fall.
My justice requires that darkness be allowed to measure itself against the light. This means that children from the light too are attacked and may possibly be seduced, or at least the attempt is made. If they succumb wholly or partly to these temptations, after their physical death they will go into realms that are not quite so light, into levels corresponding to their present state of consciousness. The direct way back to the pure eternal home is then—at least for the moment—closed to them. For you know: “Whoever wants to enter heaven must carry heaven within himself.” The danger of becoming shadowed is what I have often described as the risk every soul coming from the heavens takes.
But the great gain can and will consist in moving many, through a life of love lived out, to cease their selfish conduct and turn toward Me, the law of love. And many of My messengers of light succeed in this, for they are endowed with My additional blessing of love. I tell you: countless are incarnated in order to bring light into this world in this difficult time. They are not incarnated to wage a struggle against darkness. When a struggle is spoken of, it is darkness that wages it against the light, not the other way around. My children of light went out to be shepherds in a form similar to what I did as Jesus, to find and gather those who have lost their way and gone astray and who allow themselves to be gathered. For, as I told you: “It is not the healthy who need the physician, but the sick.”
Whomever you meet on this earth, remember that it does not matter whether he is from the Fall or from the light. Before Me all are equal. But do not make the mistake of making yourselves small by speculating whether, despite all the sinfulness you discover or believe you discover in yourselves, you might perhaps be children of the Fall. In doing so you direct your gaze toward the negative and block your own development. That is what darkness wants.
I tell you: all those who stand up for Me, whose hearts are aflame, who strive to love their neighbor, are children of light, and they belong to the infinitely great host of those who placed themselves at My side in order to bring love to earth in this time.
Yesterday you spoke about lighthouses. Remember: it lies in your hands to generate positive or negative energies and release them into this world. When, for example, you do this in your circle as you did yesterday, then, as I told you, you change this world.
I give you another image: compare yourselves to lifeguards who are ready to assist their neighbor in distress. It is completely logical that they must have learned their craft and must master it. In this case learning to swim is therefore not an end in itself, nor is this ability then used to pursue the sport with ambition in order to appear greater, stronger, and more brilliant than one’s neighbor. If it is learned in order to help one’s neighbor in distress, then it is a necessity without which a lifeguard cannot fulfill his mission.
Do you already feel yourselves to be lifeguards? I tell you: you are lifeguards, but this also includes having to learn the ability to swim little by little. In this phase of your preparation lies a certain risk, for the forces of darkness recognize you—the forces of darkness recognize every child that comes from the light—and naturally they try to bring down every child of light, every messenger of light. They will therefore try by every means to prevent a lifeguard from learning to swim; and even after he has learned it, they will do everything possible to block him in carrying out his “rescue service.” They have many possibilities for this, which I do not need to enumerate in detail, for you know them. You encounter them in daily life, and you encounter them within yourselves when you look at yourselves honestly.
You know—you do not merely believe, you know—that I am love. And you know that you too are love; that you carry within yourselves a mighty potential of the power of love that you cannot yet grasp. This creates a discrepancy for more than one of you: “Father, if I carry Your love within me, how is it possible that I keep falling again and again into this or that shortcoming?”
You see, at this point in the questioning begins the actual work of learning to swim. For I see into your hearts; I see your love, your goodwill, and your best intentions. But I also see the blockages still present within you. These blockages must be looked at—self-knowledge is the key word here—and then dissolved with My help. It makes no sense always to enter the same situation with the best intentions and fail again and again, only finally to come to the conviction: “The good Lord can talk; it simply does not work for me.” Then ask yourself, My child: have you really looked at yourself? Have you recognized what prevents you from putting into practice what you do indeed desire with a pure heart?
This is the way, and on this way of realization and the dissolving or transformation of your blockages I am at your side. This is what I call inner work. And successfully mastering this inner work can also convince skeptics and doubters that it is possible to change with My help. It does, however, presuppose something, and this aspect is often overlooked: when you have recognized yourselves in this or that point, this realization must be followed by the next step, and this step is called “decision.” You must decide whether you want to set about overcoming this fault, this weakness, with Me.
Do not say too hastily: “I want to, Father.” Examine yourselves first, for if your decision does not come from the depths of your heart, it lacks a decisive element. It does indeed reach My ear, but My help can take effect only to a limited degree because I do not interfere with your free will. And if this free will does not truly say, “Father, out of love for You I want to change,” and if you then do not seriously set about making the first small or perhaps even great changes with the helps I give you, then nothing substantial will happen.
Depending on the fault or weakness involved, it may be that no great working-through is needed at all, but that a sincere turning toward Me—repentant if necessary—and the request “Father, help” are enough. Then it may happen that you wake in the morning and feel that something has been released. But this, My children, is certainly not the rule; in many cases it would also be too easy. The point is that you recognize yourselves and voluntarily say yes to a change that is not always entirely easy but is in every case supported by Me.
Then I lead to you the people with whom and through whom you can “practice”; then I lead you into situations in which you can apply in practice what you have resolved to do. I will give you the necessary impulses for this, and I will make you watchful so that you recognize: “Attention, this is one of my Father’s forms of help, and here I now decide to respond differently from the way I did only days or weeks ago.” Then rejoice; rejoice in your small steps. The first small steps become many steps, and many small steps become great ones. Then look back and see what we have accomplished together.
This then is the basis for building trust, finding courage, and experiencing the joy of taking the next small or also great steps.
In this way, My beloved, you become the messengers of light that inwardly you already are, and you find your way to the task you set yourselves in heaven and to the fulfillment that makes life with Me an adventure. In this way you become a true help to all those who are waiting to be able to orient themselves by people who live before them what it means to strive for a life of love put into practice.
This is the responsible action of all those who went out voluntarily to rescue, to bring home. Examine whether this speaks to you inwardly. It is the work of learning to swim that a lifeguard must first undertake in order afterward to become active. Heaven gives you all the strength for it.
I bless you, and you feel the energy of this hour; you feel that your hearts are lifted, you are very close to Me. My strength accompanies you not only in the next hours and days, but in your life and in all the decisions you make. I love you, My sons and My daughters, who at the same time, to Me—as Jesus Christ—are also brothers and sisters. Amen.
