Divine Revelation (in response to a prayer)

My beloved sons and daughters, I answer your prayer, and in doing so I direct your attention to an aspect you know, but that you too forget from time to time.

It is good and right that you pray for the children and young people, that you send them your energy of love and ask Me to enfold them in My love. But this is—as you would put it—only one side of the coin. If you broaden your view and look a little deeper, you will recognize that the opposing side prepared long in advance the situation now emerging throughout the world, especially with regard to the young. For when one generation is no longer able to be an example to the next, something essential is lacking for the generation that follows.

How is the second generation to raise the third according to values it no longer knows? And even if it knows them: values it does not live? Your entire economic, political, cultural, and social development has been and is directed toward keeping these values from being brought close to the young in the first place.

This happened, among other things, through material prosperity, but also because parents—often for reasons connected with work—no longer had sufficient time for their children. And so the children could very easily fall prey to the temptations of various forms of entertainment and distraction that the forces of darkness offered them as a substitute for the love and upbringing lacking in the home.

By now many people notice in what direction the ship is traveling, but not many recognize the solution. Asking Me to help My endangered children is, as already said, one side. The other, My beloved, concerns you, and it is much harder to put into practice than merely formulating a request to Me; for you must grow more strongly into the role of being examples that the children lack. If children and young people no longer find the necessary examples in society, politics, the economy, the home—wherever it may be—by what standards are they to orient their lives?

Therefore, where I have placed you, you must take on these tasks that others can no longer take on: namely, to convey to the next generation the values I lived before you two thousand years ago. This is the only way—a way that is certainly not easy—to bring My seduced children to reflection. For you it is a beautiful but also difficult task. And if you ask Me to radiate My strength toward you so that you can master this task, it will happen. Amen.

Divine Revelation

Once more I raise My word on a subject that resonates in many of your prayers and occupies you again and again. It concerns free will. Without a right understanding of this free will, much remains incomprehensible to you because you often look only at the surface and do not yet always succeed in looking a little deeper or behind the scenes.

And so I want to deepen your insight into it, so that you better understand this pivotal point and can rightly place what happens to My children on this earth and why it happens.

You know that I gave all My creatures free will as the most beautiful gift, and that I will never—under any circumstances—touch it, no matter what My child does with it.

You are inhabitants of the purely spiritual heavens, which are your home, and you are here only temporarily. You brought this gift of free will into your incarnations because it is firmly anchored in your being. And even if it often seems to you that you are playthings of fate, the fact that you possess free will has not changed.

When you pray on earth, you very often close your prayers with the words: “Your will be done.” I will compare this with how you behaved when you were still in your spiritual home and how your brothers and sisters there behave as well. No spiritual being will see any reason to pray: “Your will be done.” Why not? Because it lives within the law of My love, and because this law is My will. No angel will—figuratively speaking—bow his head and say: “Father, it should not be according to my will, but according to Yours,” because he lives in the light of the eternal law, because he is part of the law.

None of your spiritual, heavenly brothers and sisters will therefore give even one thought to whether it should bow to the Father’s will or fulfill this will or not. It lives in glory, and there is no other life than fulfillment of the law of love.

But does this now mean that My children in heaven no longer have free will? You can easily answer this question yourselves. For if this were so, it would at the same time mean that I had taken their free will away from them again. And you know this is not the case. Now I remind you that the whole power of heaven lies within you and merely waits to be released by your yes. Your yes means: You have recognized Me as your God and Creator, and you are ready to find your way into My laws and gradually live them.

When you close your prayers with the words “Your will be done,” this is of course right. So do not misunderstand Me, My beloved, but viewed over the long term and in light of your desire to return home to Me, it is not yet everything for a child who seriously longs for its true home.

To put it pointedly, I could say: “My will is going to be done anyway.” If you understand these words of Mine rightly, it becomes clear to you that within My infinite creation nothing can happen outside My will because there is nothing outside My creation. If there were an outside, or a power that could in a sense “override” My will, I would not be who I am.

In matter you can indeed live your self-will for a time, but you do not seriously believe that by doing so you can place yourselves outside the law. You remain embedded in My eternal law of love, and sooner or later My will shall be fulfilled in each person, namely: “I have brought you, My child, back into My arms because I love you infinitely.” This is My will, and it will be accomplished even if the human being in his blindness believes he can play God for a few years of his life.

When you, My child, awaken spiritually and approach Me in love, at some point—whether in inner feeling, thoughts, or words—you will choose another formulation: “Father, by my own free decision I allow Your will in my life; yes, I desire that it be fulfilled in me.” This means: “I want, I am ready, for You, Father, to be the One who steers the ship of my life,” and it expresses: “I do not withdraw myself through my own actions and my own ideas from what You intend for me.” At the same time it means that you surrender to the law of love even though you do not know where the journey of your life is going. But you do not know that anyway, whether you live with Me or without Me.

Do you feel the difference in such an inner attitude compared with an often lightly spoken “Your will be done,” which can also all too easily tempt a person to slip into a passive role? Into a role in which he does not even recognize what he himself might be able or ought to contribute so that My law of love may be fulfilled?

Whoever desires that My will be fulfilled in him lives with Me and grows more and more into My law; he knows My will and fulfills it. Then it is no longer a matter of My will taking place in creation; it is no longer a matter of your submissively bowing your head and saying resignedly: “All right then, let Your will be done.” Rather, it is a matter of your fulfilling My will in the realization of our shared love and thereby entering My great law of love, becoming My law yourself as far as this is possible for you.

It does not mean that you give up your will, for you need your freedom for this decision. But in your life you then make My will your own, and in this way it becomes visible outwardly through your actions. Or—as an example—are you not living My will when, having recognized an injustice, you go and extend your hand to your neighbor? When you act this way, you fulfill My will.

Whoever loves Me will sooner or later feel the desire to grow into this deep intimacy. This is what I call surrender. But this surrender, My beloved children, still contains many question marks for one person or another. It is as though you were giving Me a blank check without knowing what amount I will enter. With your sincere surrender you trust Me blindly, and here lies the problem for some of you: You do not know what will come upon you and yet are asked to say an unconditional yes. Can you already do this, My son, My daughter?

I ask you a question that, if you wish, you may answer within yourself: “Do you know what will happen in your life in the future after such a blindly spoken yes? Do you know what will then come upon you?” Think. — Pause —.

If inwardly you answered: “Father, I do not know,” then your answer was right, but it was only one half of a right answer. The other is: “Whatever it is, Father, I know that it is good for me.”

Can you already do this, My child? Would you like to grow into this trust that no longer asks and no longer doubts? If you want to, then in a quiet hour give Me your yes. Give Me your blank check, and I, love, will sign it.

What can happen to you? You cannot seriously believe that afterward misfortune, illness, distress, and much more will come upon you. It may, however, be that your plans for life do not agree with Mine. What do you do then? By virtue of your free will you have the right to say no, yet My love for you will not diminish by even the slightest amount. But from your answer you can recognize how serious your surrender already is.

Surrendering oneself to someone requires very great love. Does surrender not mean being wholly there for the other person? Doing what is good for him? Not disappointing him, not hurting him? Does it not mean living intimately with him?

Surrender presupposes love, and love, My sons and daughters, wants to be lived and cultivated.

I have often told you that your effort is enough for Me; but I will explain something so that there are no misunderstandings here. By this I mean sincere effort that comes from a great heart, from your longing, and in which all your powers are mobilized and concentrated. I do not mean an “effort” that in reality is none and with which you sometimes deceive yourselves and others, consciously or unconsciously. When you approach your daily work with the right effort, with an attitude of surrender, then you are fulfilling My law. You fulfill it to the degree possible for you because of your present development.

That is already fulfillment, though—I repeat—it presupposes serious effort.

But in this, your effort, I am the power that guides you step by step on your path, gives you courage, raises you up, and leads you into the light—to where you freely live in fulfillment of My will, My love.

My son, My daughter, if your heart agrees with Me in what I have just told you, then if you wish to feel intense closeness to Me there can be only one question for you: “Father, how can I let my still-small love for You become a flame?”

Amen.
