Vida en Luz brings together Christian writings from different periods and backgrounds for those seeking God and a deeper inner life. We hope to offer a quiet place to read, ask questions and grow in faith.
You’ll find reflections, poems, teachings and personal accounts. Some texts can be read here; others are available through links to the sources that publish them. The introductions to authors and sources explain where the writings come from.
Some authors or prayer groups describe their writings as inspirations or revelations received inwardly. This is their understanding of the writings’ origin. You are free to explore the texts without accepting all their claims in advance.
You can consider what you read in the light of the Bible and the teachings of Jesus, asking whether it encourages greater love, humility and responsibility in daily life. There is no need to rush or reach a conclusion straight away.
